Fear of a Bad Ending 😢
Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullah) said:
Sufyaan ath-Thawri (rahimahullah) once cried a whole night until the morning, so in the morning he was asked if his cry was due to the fear of sins.
He picked some hay from the ground and said:
“Sins are lighter than this hay, I only cried out of fear of the bad ending!”
Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullah) said:
And this is the peak of Fīqh (knowledge and understanding) that a man fears that his sins (or inner secrets and condition of the heart) let him down at the time of death and that they come between him and the good ending.

Prophet Yusuf A.S spent 7+ years in jail, but he didn't think that those years were being wasted.
He didn't ask Allah that ya Rabb, I'm a prophet.
Why have you put me in this jail where I'm unable to preach your Deen to the masses? I have such important work to do, why am I locked away?
He didn't for a moment think that his time as a prisoner was wasted. He knew Allah had a plan for him, and He trusted that plan.
He preached to the prisoners and did what he could. He was content in the jail, as he was content outside of it when his time as a prisoner was over and he became ruler of Egypt. What's true for Prophet Yusuf (as) is also true for you and I - whatever situation and life circumstance Allah has decreed for us, that's where we are meant to be.
So remind yourself that your
years of struggles aren't wasted.
Your years of grief aren't wasted.
Your years of waiting aren't wasted.
Your years of illness aren't wasted.
Allah SWT has a plan for you, Trust Him. 🤍

If you broadcast your good deeds with the intention of showing off in front of people, do not expect any reward from Allāh, for any deed you did with such intentions.
He knew your heart, and Allāh is the Pure and accepts that which is purely done for His sake alone.
Abu Sa’d reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “When Allah gathers the people on the Day of Resurrection, a day of which there is no doubt, an announcement will be made: To those who shared with anyone in deeds done for Allah, then let him seek his reward from those besides Allah. Verily, Allah is free of any partners.”

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
"بَادِرُوا بِالأَعْمَالِ فِتَنًا كَقِطَعِ اللَّيْلِ الْمُظْلِمِ يُصْبِحُ الرَّجُلُ مُؤْمِنًا وَيُمْسِي كَافِرًا أَوْ يُمْسِي مُؤْمِنًا وَيُصْبِحُ كَافِرًا يَبِيعُ دِينَهُ بِعَرَضٍ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا"
Hasten to do good deeds (before you are overtaken) by a fitna which would be like a part of the dark night. During (that stormy period) a man would be a believer in the morning and a disbeliever in the evening or he would be a believer in the evening and a disbeliever in the morning, and he would sell his religion for worldly gain.

"Leave behind the traces (of your good deeds) after your death. Perhaps your good deeds, after your death, will (multiply )more than the good deeds (you could earn) in your lifetime."
Allaah تعالى said:
{It is We indeed who bring back the dead to life, and write down what they send ahead (of their deeds), and traces that they leave behind...}
📚[Surah Yaaseen (36): 12]
📑 Note:
{and their traces} meaning: their footsteps and walking on the earth with their legs to the Massajid for the five obligatory congregational prayers, and all other good and evil they did, and the legacy they left behind. So, Allaah will requite them for that: if it is good, then Allaah will reward them, and if it is evil, then Allaah will punish them.'
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
(Whoever starts (or sets an example of) something good in Islaam, will have a reward for it, and a reward equal to that of everyone who does it after him, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest. Whoever starts (or sets an example of) something evil in Islaam, will bear the burden for that, and a burden equal to that of everyone who does it after him, without that detracting from their burden in the slightest.)

Hasan al-Basri
"I went to a cloth merchant in Madinah to buy a thoub.
He started praising his products and making (false) oaths.
And so I left him and said to myself: "I shouldn't buy from such a person." And I bought it from someone else.
Two years later I made Hajj and went to that merchant, but this time I did not hear him praising his products or making oaths.
I said to him: "Aren't you the man to whom I came to two years ago?"
He said: "Yes."
I said: "And what made you leave doing what I saw you doing back then? Now I don't see you praising your products or making oaths!"
He said: "I had a wife, and whenever I came to her with less, she would look down on me and whenever I came to her with much, she considered it to be little. Then Allāh looked at me (meaning: He had mercy on me) and she passed away and I married again.
Whenever I wanted to go to the market (to earn my livelihood), she used to grab me by the collar of my garment and say: "O So-and-so! Fear Allāh and do not feed us except with the pure (halal earnings). If you come to us with less, we will add to it. And if we receive nothing, we will support you in our home (by making handicrafts and selling them, wa Allāhu a'lam)"

When you get hurt, remember there will be always cases of people who suffered and endured more than you.

Narrated by Abdullah ibn Mas'ud
"Once Allah's Apostle ﷺ distributed (war booty), and a man from the Ansar remarked, 'By Allah! Muhammad did not intend to please Allah with this distribution.'
So I came to Allah's Apostle and informed him of that, whereupon his face became changed with anger, and he ﷺ said,
'May Allah bestow His Mercy on Moses, for he was hurt with more than this, yet he remained patient' "

❝When Allaah تعالى intends evil for a people, He تعالى opens for them the door of argument (and quarrel), and prevents them from (doing righteous) Deeds.❞
📚 [Taareekh Damishq of Ibn Asaakir, Siyar Alaam al-Nubalaa' of al-Dhahabee]
May Allaah rectify our affairs, unite our ranks upon Truth, and guide us to that which He تعالى loves and is pleased with.
Not pointing to any one side, but this infighting is taking with it its share of casualties. We have already posted the statements of some of the sisters, and this is yet another one, this time, it is from a group of sisters.
Yet, when we say leave us out of this, it doesn't go well with many of them. Indeed the hearts of some are blinded to not notice the adverse effect this infighting is causing on the Dawah.👍11
✒ The Insignificance Of Worldly Enjoyments As Compared To The Blessings Of The Hereafter
The Messenger of Allāh Ṣallallāhu-'Alaihi Wa Sallam said:
“By Allāh, what is Dunyā (i.e in its luxuries and comfort) as compared to the Ākhirah (Hereafter), except like an example of one of you dipping his index finger into the sea, then let him take a look at what it RETURNS with.”
Mukhtaṣar Ṣaḥīḥ al-Jāmi' aṣ-Ṣagheer no. 7100, declared 'Authentic' by al-Albānī]

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet(s.a.w) said:

WHO ARE THE STRANGERS ? (GHURABAH)
Abdullāh ibn Mas’ood (radiyallāhu ‘anhu), stated that the Prophet (salallāhu ‘alaihi wasallam) said:
“Indeed, Islam began as something strange, and it will return to being strange just as it began, so glad tidings of paradise be for the strangers.”
It was said to the Prophet (salallāhu ‘alaihi wasallam): “Who are they?” He (salallāhu ‘alaihi wasallam) responded, “They are those who rectify when the people become corrupt”
This Hadith has been collected by Muslim, at-Tirmidhi, Ahmad, and other than them from the scholars of hadeeth, and it has been declared authentic by Al-Albani.
In a narration, he (salallāhu ‘alaihi wasallam) said: “Those who rectify themselves [and others] when people have become corrupt.” Reported by Ahmad and At-Tabarāni.
And there occurs in a report from ‘Amr Ibn al-‘Ās (radiyallāhu ‘anhumā) that the Prophet (salallāhu ‘alaihi wasallam) was asked: “Who are they?” He (salallāhu ‘alaihi wasallam) responded, “They are righteous people amongst many people who are evil, and those who obey them are few compared to those who disobey them.” In another narration: “Those who hate them are numerous"
In a report transmitted by Imam Ahmad and At-Tabarāni from the hadeeth of ‘Abdullāh Ibn ‘Amr (radiyallāhu ‘anhumā) the Prophet (salallāhu ‘alaihi wasallam) said: “Toobā is for the strangers"
It was said: “And who are the strangers?” He (salallāhu ‘alaihi wasallam) replied: “A righteous people surrounded by an abundance of evil people. Those who disobey them are more numerous than those who obey them.”
Reported in the Musnad of Imam Ahmad (2/177). Imām Al-Albāni authenticated it in Saheeh al-Jāmi’ as-Sagheer (no. 3291).

The Salaf would seek refuge from hypocritical humility, just like (it has been reported that) some of them would say: “Seek Allāh’s Refuge from hypocritical submissiveness.” it was said: “And what is hypocritical submissiveness?”, they said: “That you see the BODY in SUBMISSIVENESS while the HEART has NO HUMILITY.”

Qatāda b. Rib’i reported that the Messenger (sall Allāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam) said: “…(the death of) a wicked person relieves the people, the land, the trees, (and) the animals from him.”
In ‘Al Bidayah wal Nihaya’, Ibn Kathīr comments regarding one of the head innovators after his death:
“Allāh relieved the Muslims from him, in this year during the month of Dhul Hijjah. He was buried in his own home, then transferred to the burial ground of Quraish, so to Allāh belongs praise. When he died, all of AhluSunnah rejoiced, every single one of them showed their gratitude to Allāh.”
