HOW DO YOU VIEW YOUR SINS ?

Al-Harith ibn Suwaid reported:

Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (radiAllahuanhu), said,

“Verily, the believer views his sins as if he were sitting under a mountain, fearing it will fall upon him. The wicked views his sins as if they were a fly passing over his nose.”

Patience is of three types:

Patience in obeying Allaah.
Patience in refraining from that which Allaah has prohibited.
Patience in accepting the decree of Allaah when it is hurtful.

All three types of patience are combined in fasting.

DO NOT EXPECT THANKS FROM THE PEOPLE..

Among the most effective ways to repel depression is to accustom yourself to not expect appreciation except from Allah. If you treat someone who has a right upon you or no such benevolently, then know that this is due to your good etiquettes with Allah, so do not worry about being thanked by them.

Allah said about the best of His creation:

إِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ ٱللَّهِ لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَآءً وَلَا شُكُورًا

"We feed you only seeking the Face of Allah. We desire not from you reward nor gratitude." [Al-Insan: 9]

"I use Prophetic medicines such as ruqyah, black seed, honey, etc, but I'm not seeing any results..."

Narrated Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri raḍhiyallāhu ’anhu: A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, “My brother has some stomach trouble.” The Prophet (ﷺ) said to him, “give him some honey to drink.” The man came for the second time and the Prophet (ﷺ) said to him, “give him some honey to drink.” He came for the third time and the Prophet (ﷺ) said, “give him some honey to drink.” He returned again and said, “I have done that.” The Prophet (ﷺ) then said, “Allāh spoke the truth, and your brother's stomach has lied. Give him some honey to drink.” So he made him drink honey and he was cured.
[Bukhāri & Muslim]

▪️ “Allāh spoke the truth”, referring to the saying of Allah:
{یَخۡرُجُ مِنۢ بُطُونِهَا شَرَابࣱ مُّخۡتَلِفٌ أَلۡوَ ٰنُهُۥ فِیهِ شِفَاۤءࣱ لِّلنَّاسِ}
“...From their bellies comes forth liquid of varying colours, in which there is healing for people.”
[Surah An-Nahl: 69]

▪️ “your brother's stomach has lied” indicating that this medicine is beneficial, and that the persistence of the ailment is not due to the deficiency of the medicine itself.

▪️Oftentimes repeated doses are required before one sees any results.

▪️A person's Ēmān plays a big role in the medicine having an effect, as Al-Khaṭṭābi raḥimahullāh mentioned:

“The healing effect may not be present when some people use Prophetic medicine, and this is due to a barrier found with the user, such as weak belief in the healing effect (of such medicines) and not receiving it with (full) acceptance. The most obvious example is the Qur'ān; which is a healing for what is in the chest, however for some it does not have a healing effect for what is in their chest; due to their deficiency in belief and (lack of) receiving it with acceptance, rather it only increases the hypocrite in wickedness to his wickedness and disease to his illness. Therefore the Prophetic medicine is only suitable for pure bodies, just as the healing of the Qur'ān is only suitable for pure hearts, and Allāh knows best.”

Things you do for Allah's sake are not lost:

Dr. Jan Islam said rightly : Anything where Money enters. It corrupts that thing.

In this world where materialism has become so acceptable that anything without material thing is considered fake. But, when you do things for Allah's sake they are not lost. Spaces where you shown kindness might forget it and people for whom you cared might forget it. You had every opportunity to ignore them and their needs like other people of your age but people of love of Allah in their hearts they tend to bend themselves, ignoring even the vast age gaps between them and those for whom they are running to help, for Allah's sake even if they might end up in harm. We learn with time that people are really ungrateful and that is why Allah has reminded humankind in Qur'an again and again that to be grateful and it is mentioned in an authentic hadith that 'one who is not thankful to people is not thankful to Allah'.

But, Allah remembers each step you took by walking towards easing someone else's life, to make them smile, or to uplift anyone stress, or to bring change in someone's life. And, if the same people cast aspersions on you later on as they wanted to you to help them in different way but kept on exploiting you anyway. Yes, this world is like that where people will take every advantage of your "innocence and religiosity" but they will betray you and leave you when it's convenient for the. The most hard lesson I learned in past few years.

All this gets recorded in the Books of Allah. The Greatest Books. Hence, in this materialistic world where show off is treasured and genuine emotions are undermined remember that Allah is As Samee and Al Aleem.

There is NO Benefit in Being Sad...

Ibnul-Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah said: Al-Huzn (الحزن) sadness has not come within the Qur'ān except being prohibited or negated.

As for it being a prohibition it is like His, Exalted be He, statement:

And do not be weak nor be sad (Āli 'Imrān 3:139)

And His statement:

And do not grieve over them (An-Nahl 16:111)

And his statement:

Do not be sad, for indeed Allāh is with us. (At-Tawbah 9:40)

As for the negation it is like His statement:

No sadness will be upon them nor will they grieve (Al-Baqarah 2:38)

The subtle reasoning behind this is that sadness is something which should not be traversed upon and there is no benefit in it for the heart. The most beloved thing to Shaytān is that he causes the servant to be sad in order that he may cut him off in his journey and cause him to stop in his path.

LEVELS OF IMAN

This third categorization -Levels of Iman (مراتب الإيمان)- is the most important part in this lesson. As we see from the hadith mentioned earlier, it says that the greatest part of iman (أفضلها) is kalimah "Laailaaha illallah", and the lowest of it (أدناها) is removing harms off the street. This shows us that Iman is of levels.

Shaykhul Islam Ibn Taymiyyah rahimahullah said that just like any other ibadah, Iman also has levels. He rahimahullah mentioned that there are 3 levels of Iman:

1. Aslul Iman (أصل الإيمان)
It is something that without it, Iman would go away or become invalid. Just like Salah (prayer) is invalid without Al-Fātihah or that Hajj is invalid without wuquf, Iman also has things that leaving part of them would make the Iman becomes invalid, thus every each part of it must all be fulfilled.
The one who fulfiliss it is a Mu'min, and the one who leaves part of it unfulfilled, his Iman is invalid thus he becomes a Kafir. So Aslul Iman is a parameter which distinguishes Iman from Kufr.
Aslul Iman is fulfilled by:
(1)Actualising Tawheed / the presence of Tawheed, and
(2)Abandoning / the absence of any of its nullifiers.

2. Kamalul Iman Al-Wajib (كمال الإيمان الواجب)
or The Perfection of Iman that is Compulsory
It is something that when left unfulfilled, the Iman would be imperfect. It includes things that when they are done the Iman would increase, and if left undone the Iman would go down.
This level is fulfilled by:
(1) Practicing the wajibat (what's compulsory) and
(2) Leaving the haram.

3. Kamalul Iman al-Mustahab (كمال الإيمان المستحب)
or The Perfection of Iman that is Preferred
When it's done the Iman would increase, and if it's left undone the Iman would not decrease.
This level is fulfilled by:
(1) Practicing what are sunnah, and
(2) Leaving the makruh.

Hasan ‘l-Basrî said, speaking about the striving of the Salaf in hiding their deeds,

“A man would have gathered the Qur’ân (i.e. memorised it) whilst his neighbour would be unaware. Another man would have learnt a lot of Fiqh whilst the people would be unaware. A man would be praying lengthy prayer in his house, whilst he has guests, and they would not even realise. Indeed, I came across a people, there was not a single deed on the face of this earth which could be done in secret, that they ever done it in public!”

CAN ONE WHO MISSES SUNNAH PRAYER BEFORE FAJR OFFER IT AFTER ?

The two rak'ah (rawaatib) before Fajr is an extremely emphasized Sunnah. Prophet of Allah (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam) never missed it while being resident or while traveling. Aishah (radiAllahuanha) said: “Prophet of Allah (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam) did not adhere more firmly to any nafl prayer (emphasized optional prayer) than the two rak’ahs of Fajr.” (Narrated by al-Bukhari, 1163; Muslim, 724).

In other words Prophet of Allah (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam) never failed to offer this prayer, whether he was at home or travelling.
Concerning the virtue of the two rak
ah before Fajr prayer, Prophet of Allah (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam) said:

"The two rak'ahs of Fajr are better than this world and everything in it.” (Narrated by Muslim, 725).

Another narration goes: "The two Rak'ah before the dawn (Fajr) prayer are dearer to me than the whole world."

Muslims are likely to miss this emphasized Sunnah due to the following reasons.

1. You wake up late, by the time you reach the masjid the obligatory prayer had already begun.
2. You completely forgot about it, realized it after completing the obligatory prayer.

Can one pray the Sunnah prayer subsequently if one encounters anyone of the aforementioned circumstances? And if so what is the evidence?

The evidence for that is the report narrated by at-Tirmidhi (422) and Abu Dawud (1267) from Qays ibn ‘Amr (radiAllahuanhu) who said: The Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam) came out when the iqamah for prayer had been given, and I prayed Fajr with him, then the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam) finished and found me praying.

He (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam) said,

"Take it easy, O Qays. Two prayers together?”

I said, “O Messenger of Allah, I did not pray the two rak’ahs before Fajr.”

He (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam) said, “No, then.”

According to the version narrated by Abu Dawud, Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam) remained silent. This hadith was classed as sahih by al-Albani (rahimahullah) in Sahih al-Tirmidhi.

The Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam) remaining silent is his tacit approval. This is known as Sunnah Taqririyah.

Sunnah falls into three major types:

︎ Sunnah Fa'iliyah - What he ﷺ did.
︎ Sunnah Qualiyah - What he ﷺ said.
︎ Sunnah Taqririyah - What he ﷺ extended tacit approvals, approving the actions done by others.

Al-Khattabi (rahimahullah) said: “This shows that the one who misses the two rak'ahs before the obligatory prayer may offer them after the prayer, before the sun rises.” (Awn al-Ma’bud)

It says in Tuhfat Al-Ahwadhi Bi Sharh Jamiʿ Al-Tirmidhi, Book by Abdur-Rahman Mubarakpuri: "Two prayers together?” is a question in the sense of denouncing, i.e., two obligatory prayers at the time of one obligatory prayer? Because there is no nafl prayer after Fajr.

“No, then.”

Concerning the virtue of the two rak
ahs before Fajr prayer, the Prophet of Allah (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam) said: “The two rak'ahs of Fajr are better than this world and everything in it.” (Narrated by Muslim, 725)

It should be noted that the words of the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam), “No, then,” mean: there is nothing wrong with you offering these two rak'ahs at that time. This is indicated by the report of Abu Dawud, where it says, “and the Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam) remained silent.” And ‘Ata ibn Abi Rabah (rahimahullah) narrated that a man of the Ansar said: “He did not say anything to him.” Al-'Iraqi (rahimahullah) said: its isnad is hasan. And a version narrated by Ibn Abi Shaybah (rahimahullah) says: “He did not tell him to do that or tell him not to do it.” And a version narrated by Ibn Hibban says: “he did not denounce him.” The reports explain one another.”

Every Muslim Muslim must strive not to miss the two-Rak‘ah Sunnah prayer before Fajr prayer whether praying in congregation in the masjid or praying alone at home.

Allah knows best.

Sleeping after Fajr and Asr Salaah is permissible and does NOT bring bad luck as many people believe.

Question:
What is the ruling on sleeping after Fajr prayer, and does this harden the heart, and is it considered to be something which is evil? May Allah reward you with good.

Shaykh Bin Baaz [رحمه الله]:

There is no harm in sleeping after Fajr and we do not know of any problem with it. That which has become widespread among the people that (sleeping after Fajr) is not good or it is this or that; there is no reliable proof for this. Thus sleeping after Fajr, there is no harm in this, and sleeping after Asr, there is no harm in this. But for the person to remain sitting in the prayer area after Fajr, reading, seeking Allah’s forgiveness, glorifying Allah, praising Allah and the like, until the sun rises, then this is better. This was what the Prophet (ﷺ) used to do, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. And whoever leaves this off then there is no harm upon him. The one who leaves and goes to take care of his needs or sleeps or busies himself with other affairs then there is no problem with this. May Allah reward you with good.

The virtue of Ubay ibn Ka'b رضي الله عنه

Whenever the Prophet ﷺ received any revelation, he would usually call one of his scribes to write it down on whatever they could find.
Ubay ibn Ka'b رضي الله عنه was one of his scribes.

Anas bin Mālik رضي الله عنه narrated that one day Allah's Messenger ﷺ called for Ubay – after receiving some revelation – and said to him,
"Allah has ordered me to recite Qur'an to you."
Ubay said, "Did Allah mention me by name to you?"
The Prophet ﷺ said, "Yes."
Ubay said, "Have I been mentioned by the Lord of the Worlds?"
The Prophet ﷺ said, "Yes."
Then Ubay burst into tears.

WHO WAS REALLY BORN ON DECEMBER 25?

When Nimrod, the founder of Babylon, died, Semiramis told the people that her husband's spirit had taken possession of the sun. She encouraged the people to pay homage to her husband by worshipping the sun. Thus began the evil practice of sun worship. Later on when Semiramis gave birth to a son by the name of Tammuz, she hid her licentious form of living by lying to the people. She told them that she was miraculously overshadowed by the spirit of her dead husband, Nimrod, and it was in this way she was able to bring forth this so-called "son of god."

Semiramis also declared that her son, Tammuz, was in actuality the return or rebirth of her husband, Nimrod. Hence through this teaching the doctrine of reincarnation was born. And since Tammuz was born on December 25, this day was highly honored and recognized by Nimrod's supporters. Note, therefore, that this date (December 25) was observed in honor of the birth of Tammuz long before Christianity existed, and that it was not until many centuries later this pagan custom was "Christianized" as being the birthday of Christ (or Christmas day).

The similarity between some of the ancient pagan beliefs and the truth is notable. Those who existed after the Flood knew the true prophecies of God very well because the Creator had made His plans known unto all the descendants of Adam and Eve. Therefore, it was not difficult for Satan to counterfeit the truth with erroneous applications. The notable writer Alexander Hislop tells us:

"If there was one who was more deeply concerned in the tragic death of Nimrod than another, it was his wife Semiramis, who, from an originally humble position, had been raised to share with him the throne of Babylon. . . In life her husband had been honored as a hero; in death she will have him worshipped as a god, yea, as the woman's promised seed, 'Zero-ashta,' who was destined to bruise the serpent's head, and who, in doing so, was to have his own heel bruised." The Two Babylons, p. 58-59.

Of course, because of the deifying of her husband, it was not long before Nimrod's followers began to also worship Semiramis. And her son Tammuz (Zero-ashta) was worshipped as well. More and more Semiramis was revered by the people and was viewed by many as a priestess and goddess. Later on she also became known as "the queen of heaven." Thus began the awful practice of exalting human deities. These false beliefs have led up to the many different forms of idolatry that are still practiced by different people today. Yes, it was through the introduction of these satanic evils and the many sacrilegious practices of ancient Babylon that witchcraft, priestcraft, spiritualism, and other forms of paganism were born. Says the well-known author Ellen G. White:

"The doctrine of man's consciousness in death, especially the belief that spirits of the dead return to minister to the living, has prepared the way for modern spiritualism." The Great Controversy, p. 551.

Dear muslimāt,

Beware of attaching Islam to creating content just to earn fame. In the same way, beware of making content about Islam while displaying yourself in public. Muslimāt are to be hidden. We are not for public display. Leave the public da’wah to men.

Disclaimer: Most of the Muslim women who display themselves in public for da’wah purposes are not Salafiyyah. They are content creators who do not understand hijab in the first place. Check their backgrounds and you'll see how there’s a defect in their Aqeedah.

You see how nasheeds hover over their accounts, free-mixing at its peak, and many other wrong influences that the lay women confused to be good acts of deeds. Beware of supporting the Ahlul Bid’ah just because they wear abayas. Beware of giving admiration to women who are despised by Allah.

Shaykh Muhammad Saeed Raslan حفظه الله said,
“So take heed, especially in these times, whom you sit with, hear and befriend. If you see from any person an innovation, then beware from him; for indeed what he is hiding from his misguidance is greater than what he shows.”

Fudayl Ibn Iyad said, “Whoever sits with people of innovations will not be given wisdom.” (Reported by Lalakai, Abu Nuaym, and Bayhaqi)

And he said, “Whoever loves a person of innovation, Allah will erase his good deeds, and remove the light of Islam from his heart.” (Reported by Ibn Battah, Bayhaqi, and Lalakai)

How civilizations are destroyed?

In our age, three means are being utilized to bring the downfall of the Ummah.

1. Attacking the family structure.
2. Attacking the education.
3. Replacing the role models.

☆☆☆

🌟1. Attacking the family structure:
In order to attack the family structure they are clouding the role and the importance of motherhood in the upbringing and welfare of the family. Making the woman feel ashamed of her role as a housewife and a caretaker.

Whereas the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
《...a woman is the Guardian of her husband's house and is responsible for it...》 [Saheehain]

☆☆☆

🌟2. Attacking the education:
In order to corrupt the education, they are attacking the teachers; not giving them importance in the society, and lowering them from their status to the extent that even the students look down upon them.

Whoever mocks the teacher has mocked the knowledge that the teacher has.

☆☆☆

🌟3. Replacing the role models:
In order to overthrow the role models (the Salaf), they are attacking the scholars; speaking bad about them; disrespecting and dishonoring them; creating doubts about them so that no one is there who listens to them or follows them.

The situation is so bad that many people cannot distinguish between a scholar and a celebrity speaker. Whereas the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

《The scholars are the heirs of the Prophets, for the Prophets did not leave behind Dinar or Dirham, rather they left behind knowledge, so whoever takes it has taken a great share.》
