Ghuluw (Exaggeration) Against the Graves of Righteous People and Making Them Idols Worshiped...

👉Imam Muslim narrated in his Sahih from Jundub bin Abdullah Al-Bajaliy Radhiyallahu 'anhu he said,
I heard from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) five days before his death and he said: I stand acquitted before Allah that I took any one of you as friend, for Allah has taken me as His friend, as he took Ibrahim as His friend. Had I taken any one of my Ummah as a friend, I would have taken Abu Bakr as a friend. Beware of those who preceded you and used to take the graves of their prophets and righteous men as places of worship, but you must not take graves as mosques; I forbid you to do that. Sahih Muslim 532

👉A'isha and Abdullah reported:
was about to breathe his last, he drew his sheet upon his face and when he felt uneasy, he uncovered his face and said in that very state: Let there be curse upon the Jews and the Christians that they have taken the graves of their apostles as places of worship. He in fact warned (his men) against what they (the Jews and the Christians) did. Sahih Muslim 531

👉A'isha reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said during his illness from which he never recovered: Allah cursed the Jews and the Christians that they took the graves of their prophets as mosques. She ('A'isha) reported: Had it not been so, his (Prophet's) grave would have been in an open place, but it could not be due to the fear that it may not be taken as a mosque. Sahih Muslim 529

Note: The practice of tabarruk (seeking blessings) from the Prophets and Messengers has never been declared as shirk by Athari authorities, including the Najdis. Whoever states otherwise is an ignoramus who peddles Rafidi-Sufi propaganda in order to scare people from the Da'wah of Tawhid. Such false claims and slander are similar to the claim that 'Wahhabis' regard the mere visitation of graves as shirk (polytheism), whereas in truth, heretical and polytheistic rituals at the graves are what are condemned by Sunni scholars, not the visitation itself (where it is Sunnah to pray for and not to the deceased, prophets, saints and ordinary Muslims alike).

The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين ) said:
"If the entire creation got together to benefit you in some way, they could never benefit you at all except for that which Allah had already Decreed for you. And, if they all got together to harm you in some way, they could do you no harm except for that which Allah had already Decreed for you. The pens have been lifted, and the ink has been dried."

‎‘Umar ibn al-Khattab رضي الله عنه was asked about true repentance.

He replied: "It is that you repent from the sin and never do it again, or never intend to do it again."

You can watch a person. You can see them laugh. You can see them post happy pictures on social media, and be polite, and carry on casual conversations.

You can look at a person. You can see their handbag. You can see their clothes, and their hair, and their shoes.

But you know what you can’t see?

You can’t see the fight they just had with their spouse. You can’t see their tears from the night before.

You can’t see the helpless feeling they’re experiencing of trying to help their teenager who keeps going in the wrong direction. You can’t see the time, and energy, and love they’ve dedicated to raising good children. You can’t see how hard they work without even an ounce of appreciation.

You can’t see the demotion they just received, or the rejection they’re facing. You can’t see the two jobs they’re working just to make ends meet.

You can’t see the loved one they just lost. You can’t see the parent who was just diagnosed with cancer. You can’t see their battle with infertility, or the miscarriage they recently had.

You can’t see their anxiety. You can’t see the depression they’ve been battling for who knows how long.

You can’t see their loneliness.
You can’t see their brokenness.
You can’t see their breakdowns.
You can’t see their heartache.
You can’t see the silent weight they constantly carry on their shoulders.

You can’t see their fear, or the lies they tell themself. You can’t see their inner turmoil, or the way they lay in bed every single night and wonder why they aren’t enough, and if they’ll ever just learn to like who they are.

You can’t see how hard they’re working to get through this day, or this week, or this season.

You can’t see all the things they never share. You can’t see all the things they coverup. You can’t see all the things they are desperate to keep hidden.

We think we know people. We look at people, and think we see them, but the truth is: most of the time, we only see traces of the truth. We only see a fraction of the full story.

Don’t judge.
Don’t be unkind.
Don’t assume anything except that they are loved by the same God who loves you, and what they need most right now is grace.

Maybe we can’t see, but with one simple act of love, we can help them see that there is still good in the world, that good people exist, and that there is always, always a reason to keep going.

“Three supplications are answered WITHOUT ANY DOUBT:

• Supplication of the one who’s oppressed
• Supplication of a traveller
• & Supplication of parents for their children.”

Prophet Sulayman عليه السلام, the son of Dawud passed by a bird that was flying circles around a female bird. "Do you know what he is saying?" Sulayman asked his companions.

They replied, "What is he saying, Prophet of Allah?"

"He is proposing to her, saying, 'Marry me and I will house you any house of Damascus you desire.'" Sulayman عليه السلا said, "The chambers of Damascus are made out of rock, no one is able to live in them, but every suitor lies."

“A worshipper once looked at a beautiful person, so his teacher told him, ‘You will find the punishment for that look!’ So after forty years, he forgot the Qur’ān he memorised.

Another said, ‘I made fun of a person who lost some of his teeth, so my teeth were scattered, and I looked at a woman who was not lawful for me, so my wife was looked at by whom I did not want.’”

❝When the people of Jannah will reunite, they will remember all the times they spoke about Jannah in this world. They’ll look back and laugh, at how short life was, and then smile, because beautiful is their final abode.

The people of paradise will have all that they desire. One step into Jannah and they will remember no pain. They will say they never suffered, they will say they never cried.

A dip in Jannah.

Oh how much we long for that moment. The moment where we reunite, we hug our loved ones once again. We forget about all the pain, and thank Allāh for all the tests!

How strange does it seem, that these tests which weigh a ton on our chest today will one day elevate us. Elevate us so high, that we will thank Allāh. We will thank Him for testing us, for loving us and for giving us more than anyone could imagine.

A place of eternity, vast, beautiful, peaceful.

Everything one can desire.

Be patient, oh beautiful slaves of Allāh, for our Lord is more Merciful than a mother is to her child.❞

REVIVE A NEGLECTED SUNNAH.

The following Sunnah is arguably one of the most neglected acts of worship amidst even students of knowledge and leaders amongst the Muslims, let alone the ordinary folk. However, it wasn't the case with those before us, it was like the oxygen which they breathed, without it their day was gone.

This is the Sunnah of remembering Allah after the early morning prayer till sunrise.

Jaabir Ibnu Samura said,

كَانَ لاَ يَقُومُ مِنْ مُصَلاَّهُ الَّذِي يُصَلِّي فِيهِ الصُّبْحَ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ فَإِذَا طَلَعَتْ قَامَ

“Whenever the Prophet of Allah ( Sallalahu Alaihiwasallam ) would finish the early morning prayer, he would not get up from his place of prayer till the sun had risen.” (Muslim)

‘Abdullah Ibnu Mas’ood said: مَا نِمْتُ نَوْمَةَ الضُّحَى مُنْذُ أَسْلَمْتُ

“I have not slept during this time since the day I embraced Islam” (Tabaqaat of Ibnu Sa’d)

Imam Al-Awzaa’i said:

كان السلف إذا صدع الفجر أو قبله شيئًا كأنما على رؤوسهم الطير، مقبلين على أنفسهم، حتى لو أن حميمًا لأحدهم غاب عنه حينًا، ثم قدّم ما التفت إليه، فلا يزالون كذلك حتى يكونون قريبًا من طلوع الشمس

“When it was around the time of Fajr, our predecessors would be so still that it was as if birds were sitting on their heads. They were so focused on themselves in Allah’s remembrance as if a loved person of theirs who’d been away had arrived and would not turn towards them. They'd remain in such a state till around the rising of the sun” (Taareekh Dimashq)

If you wish to realise just how forsaken this Sunnah is, merely look around the Masajids ten or minutes after the end of the Fajr prayer. In most cases, the Masjid is virtually deserted, assuming that you aren’t told to leave before that.

There is a reason why this Sunnah is hardly applied. It’s not easy. It requires tremendous determination and dedication as it coincides with time, rest and sleep. The effects of it, however, upon one’s soul are beyond words. In fact, those who’ve been upon it for some time simply cannot function without it.

Imam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullah d. 728 AH) once said to his student, Ibnul Qayyim (rahimahullah d. 751 AH), after doing this till around midday(!):

هذه غدوتى لو لم أتغدى غدوتى سقطت قوتى

“This is my morning meal. If I don’t have it, my strength leaves me.” (ArRad AlWaafi)

Those words are not an exaggeration, but a true reflection of something that he’d felt and experienced. This Sunnah had played an enormous role in the moulding of Ibn Taymiyya’s character and was one of the secrets behind his spiritual and intellectual power that would later amaze the world.

Never did they allow the excuse of Da’wah, study, work or family to stand between them and these moments of remembrance. Rather, they saw the latter as an indispensable tool for the former!.

In a narration which many have classified as authentic, the Prophet ( Sallalahu Alaihiwasallam) said:

مَنْ صَلَّى الْغَدَاةَ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ ثُمَّ قَعَدَ يَذْكُرُ اللَّهَ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ كَانَتْ لَهُ كَأَجْرِ حَجَّةٍ وَعُمْرَةٍ ‏تَامَّةٍ تَامَّةٍ تَامَّةٍ ‏

“Whoever

(1) Prays the early morning prayer in congregation then
(2) Stays sitting down, remembering Allah till the sun rises, then
(3) Prays two units of prayer, he will be given the reward of Hajj and ‘Umrah that are complete, complete, complete.”(At-Tirmidhi)

Strive hard to implement this Sunnah gradually.

1) Dedicating at least one morning a week for this Sunnah if you are unable do more.

2) Contact a friend of yours who’ll share your ambition & join you.

3) Dedicate those moments to five things:
Qur’an, Dhikr, Du’aah, Isthighfar and reflection & contemplation.

4) Fifteen or so minutes after sunrise, carry out two or more units of prayer within your place of prayer

5) Then, monitor your heart’s transformation throughout that day. Never, ever be amazed by your acts of good deeds as it is Allah who enabled you and He is in no need of your deeds.

man.
The poor man left the palace with the basket, emptied its contents, cleaned it, put beautiful flowers in it & returned it to the wealthy
man.
The wealthy man asked the poor man why? I gave you a basket of rotten fruit, you brought it back with beautiful flowers?
The man replied:
Each man gives whats in his heart...*

Everyone makes mistakes. We’re imperfect, and we’re bound to err.

When we sin, and if our hearts are healthy, we *will* feel sad, regretful, and disappointed with ourselves. This consciousness is a gift from Allah, because we’re capable of recognizing our mistakes.

But don’t translate this self-disappointment into thinking that Allah has given up on us. While our Deen teaches us not to belittle even the smallest of sin (so what more of the major ones?), understand that Allah’s Rahmah is infinitely bigger than all of our shortcomings combined. With sincere tawbah, do not think we’re beyond the point of no return. From the histories mentioned in the Qur’an and the Sunnah, we learn that Allah has forgiven others who have transgressed far more in the past.

*Allah gives the Dunya to those He loves and those He hates, but He gives the Hereafter only to those He loves*

Abdullāh ibn Mas'ud radhiyallahu anhu said:

«أَنْتُمْ أَكْثَرُ صِيَامًا، وَأَكْثَرُ صَلَاةً، وَأَكْثَرُ اجْتِهَادًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، وَهُمْ كَانُوا خَيْرًا مِنْكُمْ، قَالُوا: لِمَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ؟ قَالَ: هُمْ كَانُوا أَزْهَدَ فِي الدُّنْيَا، وَأَرْغَبَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ».

"You fast more, pray more, and exert more effort than the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, yet they were better than you." They asked, "Why is that, O Abu Abdirrahman?" He replied, "They were less inclined to this Dunya and more desirous of the Hereafter."

The Rebuke for Spying & Having Suspicious Thoughts.

Abu Hurayrah (رضى الله عنه )said that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:

"Beware of suspicion, for it is the worst of false tales, and don't spy and don't look for other's faults and don't hate one another, and be slaves of Allāh and brothers to one another!"

Reported by Al-Bukhari (6064) and Muslim (2563)

Umar b. Khaṭṭāb became unconscious after he was stabbed, and it was said: "Nothing would wake him up except the call to prayer, if he is still alive."

They said to him: "The prayer has finished, O Chief of the Faithful!"

He woke up and said: "The prayer, by Allāh! Verily, there is no share in Islām for whoever abandons the prayer."

He performed the prayer while his wound was bleeding.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“There will come to the people years of treachery, when the liar will be regarded as honest, and the honest man will be regarded as a liar; the traitor will be regarded as faithful, and the faithful man will be regarded as a traitor; and the Ruwaibidah will decide matters.’ It was said: ‘Who are the Ruwaibidah?’ He said: ‘Vile and base men who control the affairs of the people.’”

Whoever is focused only on this world:

Abdur-Rahman bin Aban bin ‘Uthman bin ‘Affan narrated that his father said:
“Zaid bin Thabit departed from Marwan at mid-day. I said: ‘He has not sent him out at this time of the day except for something he asked.’ So I asked him, and he said: ‘He asked me about some things we heard from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: “Whoever is focused only on this world, Allah will confound his affairs and make him fear poverty constantly, and he will not get anything of this world except that which has been decreed for him. Whoever is focused on the Hereafter, Allah will settle his affairs for him and make him feel content with his lot, and his provision and worldly gains will undoubtedly come to him.”

Imran ibn Hussein reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,

“Whoever helps his brother in secret, Allah will help him in this world and in the Hereafter.”

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:

“He who has tested the servant is the Most Wise, the Most Merciful and He did not test him with the affliction to destroy, punish or overwhelm him. Rather, the affliction is merely a test of his patience, his contentment with Allāh and his faith.”

In addition Allāh wants to hear the servant’s pleas, supplications and humility before him, his seeking refuge with Him, his hearts humility before Him and his explaining His sadness to Him (alone).”

Imaam Sufyaan Ath-Thawriy said:

“It was passed down to us through various reports from the Salaf, and ALLAAH knows best, that the good deeds a believer will find most plentiful in his record on the day of judgement will be from his worries and sadness he used to experience while he was alive.”

As a believer, we shouldn't pray to ALLAAH to try us, but we should take trials as a means of cleansing from bad deeds, raising our ranks, more rewards to our account of good deeds. Most importantly, let's assume the best thoughts about ALLAAH.

Abu Hurayrah narrated that The Prophet, may ALLAAH be pleased with him, said:
“Whenever a believer is stricken with discomfort, illness, anxiety, grief or mental worry and stress, or even the pricking of a thorn, ALLAAH will expiate his sins on account of his patience over all of that". Reported by Al-Bukhariy, 5641 and Muslim, 2573.

Noted the word: PATIENCE.

You earn a lot of unimaginable rewards with patience. Knowingly or unknowingly. May ALLAAH grant us patience and not waste our struggle. Aameen.

This is a great statement! Everything belongs to Allah, if something is taken away from you then remember it is in His ownership,

and if He gives you something then it is still in His ownership,

so then how can you be displeased when He takes from you what belongs to Him?
