Abu Hāzim Salamah bin Dinār, [may Allāh have mercy on him], said:

“Conceal your good deeds more than you conceal your bad deeds.”

Hilyat ul-Awliyā’a, 3/239 | Abi Nu‘aym al-Asbahāni, [may Allāh bestow mercy upon him]

Translation: Authentic Quotes

Ahmad bin Harb said,

"I worshipped Allaah for fifty years, but tasted the delight of worship only after I abandoned three things:

- I discarded seeking people’s pleasure, and thus was able to speak the truth.

- I abandoned associating with the wicked, and thus tasted the delight of accompanying the righteous.

- I ignored the delights of this world, and thus tasted the delight of the Hereafter."

Some people say "Indeed this religion is easy and Allaah is oft forgiving Most Merciful" and because of these statements, they abandon the obligations and disobey Allaah regarding those things that He has Prohibited.. The shaitaan is playing with those who are like this.
In truth, the religion is easy. However, it is nether from the religion to disobey Allaah by abandoning those affairs that He has commanded us with nor is committing acts which He has prohibited us from.

Reward Equivalent To A Year Of Fasting And Praying

From Aws Bin Aws Ath-Thaqafi who said I heard the Messenger of Allaah [ﷺ] saying:

❝Whoever performs a perfect Ghusl on Friday then goes very early to the Khutbah, walking and not riding, sits close to the Imam, listens and does not speak or keep himself busy then for every step towards the Khutbah is the reward equivalent to a year of fasting and praying.❞

[Collected By Ahmad, Abu Dawood, Tirmidhi | Authenticated By Al-Albaani In Saheeh Al-Jama As-Sagheer, (No. 6405)]

Al-Mulla Ali Al-Qari [رحمه الله] said:

❝The people of knowledge say: 'We do not know of a Hadeeth of the Prophet [ﷺ] which has more reward than this Hadeeth.'❞

Whoever is in a rush to do something after salāh should not leave off the adhkār (for after the prayer), and he (she) should say them while he (she) is walking.

*What will you do in the grave for thousands of years?*

Dr. Mustafa Mahmood writes:

"I’ll tell you a method that has worked very well for me and has helped me focus more on my connection with Allah.

The grave is frightening, except for the righteous.

I thought about it, and now that I'm 54, I'm weary of the world and its things. So, when I go into the grave and remain alone for hundreds, thousands of years, what will I do?

Have you ever imagined that?

So I started following this approach:

Look, I’ll die, and I’ll have a dark, empty grave.

That grave will need provisions, so I began visualizing every act of seeking forgiveness as something I’m sending to my grave, so it can be there to wait for me as a companion in my loneliness.

By Allah, I’m not joking.

I have started fully decorating my grave.

In one corner, I’m filling it with thousands of praises of Allah.

Near my head, there will be the Quran that I read daily, providing a comforting pillow.

With each prayer, I imagine that I’m storing it in my grave.

Everyone will leave me, returning to their homes, and I’ll be left alone, perhaps for thousands of years. My children will likely forget me within a few years.

So, I will need companions, lights, and scenes of paradise in my grave.

I envision praises, remembrance of Allah, the Quran, prayers, and charity as my friends there, laughing and talking with me.

I have made sending peace and blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) an essential practice, which will also join our gatherings there, like cool water and beautiful garments.

I want the life in my grave to be even more beautiful than this worldly life, Insha’Allah.

Isn’t it better to decorate my grave with the best things instead of leaving it filled with the stench of backbiting, envy, and other worldly sins, along with decayed furniture and a hard, rocky bed?

I worked tirelessly all my life to make my home here, but this home will eventually belong to my heirs; all my efforts won’t be for me but for others. So I decided it’s enough—I need to build my own home where only I’ll be, spending a long time there.

If all my deeds were only for worldly needs and nothing for my grave, then my grave would be filled with nothing but punishment, permanent darkness, and a harsh reckoning. How will I live alone in such a place?

My advice to you from today:

Make your grave your bank account. Deposit as much as you can, and go for the long-term policy.

Take good care of your worship. By Allah, when you are in the grave, you’ll thank me even from there.

Care for your grave more than you care for this world’s home.

Right now, you are among your family, wearing clothes, eating, drinking, sleeping comfortably among them, and having all your needs met, yet you complain and feel dissatisfied.

So imagine when you’ll be underground for hundreds or thousands of years—who will be with you then?

Your favorite politicians, athletes, actors, and businessmen? They don’t even know you exist, nor do they care about you here; yet, you foolishly waste your time on them.

Those children for whom you waste millions on lavish weddings—believe me, that waste will become a burden for you, and they’ll deny that their parents created difficulties for themselves and for them.

Therefore, take care of yourself.

Cherish each act of praise and every deed, and ask it to go ahead to the grave and wait for you. Let it make your grave fragrant, like a beautiful garden, with airy rooms, luxurious furniture, and compassionate friends.

We will meet there, and that home will be my best companion and the finest dwelling.

O Allah, grant us a good end.

O Allah, make our Hereafter better and protect us from the punishment of the grave.

O Allah, grant us the ability to remember You, to thank You, and to worship You beautifully so that You bestow Your pleasure upon us and place us in Jannat al-Firdous, where we may be in the company of Your Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), upon whom there are countless blessings and peace.

So, start building your home.

THE THREE KNOTS FROM SHAYTAN

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Satan puts three knots at the back of the head of any of you if he is asleep. On every knot he reads and exhales the following words, 'The night is long, so stay asleep.' When one wakes up and remembers Allah, one knot is undone; and when one performs ablution, the second knot is undone, and when one prays the third knot is undone and one gets up energetic with a good heart in the morning; otherwise one gets up lazy and with a mischievous heart."

How to untie the knots of shaytan

Every believer wishes to please Allah Ta’ala by doing good and staying away from wrong. Shaytan on the other hand wants us to make Allah Ta’ala unhappy.

From a hadeeth of our beloved Nabi ﷺ we learn that every night while we sleep, shaytan ties 3 knots at the back of our heads. He does this so that he can take control over us the following day and make us do wrong actions.

If we leave these knots we will feel very lazy and we will get lots of thoughts to do wrong things.

If however, we do three things, we will be freed from the influence of shaytan, feel more energetic and happy and feel like doing good actions. Let’s learn how to untie and remove all of these knots one by one every morning.

Untie and remove the first knot:

When we wake up read the basic waking up dua and in addition to this, learn and read any other duas we know too. There are many duas which have a lot of benefits and should be learnt. This will remove the first knot.

Untie and remove the second knot:

After waking up, perform wudhu. We normally brush our teeth and wash our face. With this, we just have to wash our arms and legs and do masah over the head. This will remove the second knot.

Untie and remove the third knot:

After wudhu, if it is not makrooh time, then perform 2 rak’at salah. If it’s the middle of the night, perform tahajjud, if it’s Fajr time, perform Fajr salaah, if it’s mid-morning then 2 rak’at nafl salah. This will remove the third knot.

In addition Allāh wants to hear the servant’s pleas, supplications and humility before him, his seeking refuge with Him, his hearts humility before Him and his explaining His sadness to Him (alone).”

Life is better when you are happy, but life is at its best when others are happy because of you: Be faithful in touching other's hearts. Be an inspiration. Nothing in nature lives for itself;.Rivers do not drink their own water. Trees do not eat their own fruits. The Sun does not shine for itself and Flowers do not spread their fragrance for themselves. Living for others is a rule of nature. We were all born to help one another. No matter how difficult the situation you find yourself in, Still do good to others. Do Good for ALLAHs sake ...make ALLAH reward you with Goodness.. Aamin 🤲🏿
