Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله writes:

• Acceptance (i.e. being pleased with Allāh’s Decree) (al-Ridhaa)
• Gratitude (al-Hamd)
• Patience (al-Sabr)
• Faith in Predestination
(al-Imaan bil-Qadr)

“It is the decree of Allāh and what He Wills, He Does” (قَدَّرَ اللَّهُ وَمَا شَاءَ فَعَلَ).”

We have Muslims having weddings, birthday/born-day parties, tight clothes, Islamic rap/music (???), comedians, runways, baby showers, voting, protests, etc! The Prophet spoke the truth!
“Allah's Messenger (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: 'You will indeed follow the ways of those before you, hand span by hand span, and an arms length after another. Even if they enter into a lizard’s hole, you will follow them.’ We (the Sahaba) asked, ‘Is it the Jews and the Christians?’ He replied, ‘Who else!’”

Some people live for pleasure in this world, some for money, some thrive on music and fame, some scout for success on social media. In a world where everybody has some reason to live, make sure your reasons align with Allah's reason for your existence on this Earth.
Bask in the company of the Qur'an, shine in the remembrance of Allah, drive pleasure from doing good to others, enjoy solitude once a while, savour the sayings of the prophet pbuh. Choose to let go of the delusions of this world and chase the Akhirah centric You.

Respecting the Scholars
-Sheikh Saleh Al-Fawzaan
The Correct Way of Dealing with the Scholars when they make a Mistake
I am not claiming that scholars are infallible and that they are free from making mistakes, as infallibility belongs to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger. The scholars make mistakes but, the solution is not found in making them a target in our gatherings, upon the podium the or in our lectures, this is totally IMPERMISSIBLE. Even if a mistake or lapses occurs from a scholar that the solution is found in other than this method. Allah ﷻ says:
Verily, those who like that (the crime of) illegal sexual intercourse should be propagated among those who believe, they will have a painful torment in this world and in the Hereafter. And Allah knows and you know not. [An-Nur 19]
And we ask Allah for safety and wellbeing, as it is obligatory upon us to be CAUTIOUS in this issue and to RESPECT each other especially the SCHOLARS. The scholars are inheritors of the Prophets even though they may have mistakes on them.

❝ It is truly unfortunate and wrong for a person to enjoy Allah’s blessings while standing, sitting, sleeping, and awake—enjoying security, prosperity, abundant wealth, children, and companions—yet not show gratitude to Allah nor submit to His commands. He sleeps until mid-morning and does not pray Fajr and he hears the call (from the 🕌) but does not respond towards it ❞
(Al-Dhiya’ Al-Lami’, 396/2)
I glanced on this work of the renowned 20th century scholar rahimahullah, it is filled with excellent reflections on gratitude (shukr) , reliance on Allah (tawakkul) , and self-accountability (muhasabah) and also practical advice for Muslims to maintain their faith in modern times.

Life is better when u are happy, but life is at its best when others are happy b'cuz of u:
Be faithful in touching other's hearts. 🫀
Be an inspiration. 💫
Nothing in nature lives for itself;.
Rivers do not drink their own water.
Trees do not eat their own fruits.
The Sun does not shine for itself and
Flowers don't spread their fragrance for themselves.
Living for others is a rule of nature. We were all born to help one another. No matter how difficult the situation u find yourself in, Still do good to others.
Do Good for Allāh sake ...make Allāh reward u with Goodness.. Aameen 🤲

In the end, we just want calm. we no longer appreciate extravagance and grand. The noise of the world is sickening. Competition. Ranks. Status. In the end, we just crave silence. Simplicity, Family.
We need Allah’s help & We just want to rest our hearts. 🫀
It's tiring pleasing the world. 🌎
We want pray, we need peace!! 🕊

*Don’t just be patient...
Don’t just be patient, be patient and along with that hope for a reward from Allâh ﷻ for your patience during your calamity.
✏️ Sheikh ibn Uthaimeen رحمه الله said,
“Indeed when a person faces calamities with patience [but] without hoping for a reward from Allâh, the calamity will become an expiation for his sins. And if he shows patience along with hoping for a reward [from Alläh], then along with being an expiation for his sins it becomes a good recompense and reward. And the meaning of hoping for Allâh’s reward [al-Ihtisaab] is that a person believes that he will soon be rewarded for the patience [he is showing], so he makes good his thoughts about Alläh and thus Allâh سبحانه و تعالى, will give him [a reward] according to what he thought of Him.”

Giving Charity on Fridays
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:
Giving charity on Friday has a special merit compared to other days,
just as giving charity during the month of Ramadan has a higher merit compared to the rest of the year.
I witnessed Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله when he would go out for Jumuaah,
he would take whatever he found at home—be it bread or anything else—and give it as charity in secret on his way.
I heard him say:
“If Allāh commanded us to give charity before consulting with the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ (58:12), then giving charity before consulting with Allāh is even more virtuous and deserving of merit”
[Zaad al-Maad, 1/399]
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:
"If the one giving charity knew that his charity landed in the Hand of Allāh before the hand of the poor person (48:10), the pleasure of the giver would be greater than the pleasure of the receiver."
[al-Madarij as-Salikeen, 1/26]
