My rizq Is written so I will not do anything.
Ibn Hajr al asqalani said:
Ahmad was asked about a man who sat in his house or in the mosque and said, "I will not do anything until my sustenance comes to me." Ahmad replied, "This man is ignorant of the knowledge, for the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, 'Allah has made my sustenance under the shade of my spear.' He also said, 'If you trust in Allah with true trust, He will provide for you as He provides for the birds, which go out in the morning hungry and return in the evening full.'"
Ahmad added, "The Companions of the Prophet would trade and work in their palm groves, and they were the example to follow." (Fath al bari)

*Don’t Make Money Your First Priority*
In every matter, don’t make money your primary concern. The first priority should be the environment you work in—the place and the people who value your efforts, appreciate your contributions, and treat you with respect. This comes before the salary.
If a workplace honors sincerity, effort, and good character more than just offering a high paycheck, then bi'idhnillāh (بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ) — your provision will come, with barakah (بَرَكَة) and sufficiency.
*Seek to work in places where there is barakah,* not where it is lost. *Choose environments that help you stay close to your Creator,* not ones that distract you from Him. That should always come first.
*Today, many young people chase money* while neglecting ‘ilm (العِلم) and real experience. But ‘ilm, sincerity, and good character must come first.
*True education is not defined by holding a degree* —It is reflected in maturity, sound intellect (‘aql - العَقل), and beneficial skills.
None of us is free from mistakes, but we can always strive to improve through righteous actions and sincerity in all we do.
May Allāh help us live lives that please Him and bring lasting benefit in this world and the next.

The corporate world is heartless. Corporate hospitals are part of this heartless world. Everything, including empathy, has a price in a corporate hospital. A poor man cannot get justice against the rich and merciless corporate slaughterhouses. A poor man should not fight for justice, which he cannot afford. A poor man should only weep and pray in seclusion. Allah is enough for a poor man.

Refraining From Forbidding Evil
Iblīs has convinced some worshipers not to forbid evil on the basis that only righteous people ought to do so. They say: I am not worthy because I am not righteous enough, so how could I impose on others?
This is wrong, for he should forbid others from committing sins including sins that he, himself, is committing. However, it is better if he stops committing this sin and then forbids others. His admonishment would be more effective this way.

“You might see someone with limited income buying a car for 80,000 or more, even though a 20,000 car would meet their needs. This often reflects a lack of understanding in religious priorities and weak trust in Allah. Try to avoid buying things on installment plans. But if you’re truly in need, keep your borrowing to the bare minimum necessary—it’s better to live simple than to be burdened by debt.”

‼️THE CAUSE OF DECREASE IN SUSTENANCE‼️
Ibn al-Qayyim (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) said:
"Every time a people apply oppression and wickedness then their Lord, the Blessed, and Most High, brings about for them from the predicaments and disorders in their sustenance and their fruits and in their climates and their waters and in their bodies and their physical constitutions and in their forms and appearances as well as in their manners from certain deficiencies and predicaments of a nature that their own actions and their oppressions and their wicked ways should necessitate.
For indeed the grains of wheat and other than them used to be bigger than what they are today. Just as the blessing within them too used to be greater, Imām Ahmad reports with his chain of narration: that there were found in the storehouses of some of the Umayyads bales of wheat the like of date-stones and written on them was:
_'These were cultivated in the days of justice.'_
He mentioned this incident in his Musnad after a hadeeth which he reported."

SAVE THIS TO RECITE DURING THE FIRST TEN DAYS OF ZIL HIJJAH ESPECIALLY ON THE DAY OF ARAFAH.
The Prophet of Allah (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam) said:
"The best of dua is dua on the day of Arafah and best of what I and the Prophets before me have said is;
•●• Dua in Arabic:

•●• Transliteration:
La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lahu lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu wa huwa ala kulli shay in qadeer
•●• Translation:
(There is none worthy of worship in truth but Allah alone, without any partners. To Him belongs all sovereignty and praise, and He has power over everything).
•●• The Hadith.
Abdullah ibn Amr (radiAllahuanhu) reported: The Prophet of Allah (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam) said,
"The best supplication is that which is made on the day of Arafah. The best of it is what was said by myself and the Prophets before me, ‘There is none worthy of worship in truth but Allah alone, without any partners, unto Him belongs the dominion and all praise, and He has power over all things.’” [Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 3585. Meeting Yusuf عليه السلام This Morning at Fajr
This morning, I arrived at the Islamic Center of Irvine for Fajr. I hadn’t slept well. My night had been long, thoughtful, and heavy—a private journey of the soul that left me inwardly quiet and deeply introspective.
I was hoping to pray behind our dear Sheikh Mohamed Osman, whose voice often lifts the heart. But today, a volunteer—brother Yousuf—stepped forward to lead. And then… he recited none other than Surat Yusuf عليه السلام.
And I thought, SubhānAllāh.
That Surah had been orbiting my thoughts all night. Its wisdom. Its sorrow. Its unmatched cinematic, immersive and majestic storytelling. I hadn’t even spoken it aloud. But there it was, waiting for me at Fajr—as if it knew.
Some scholars say Surat Yusuf عليه السلام was revealed all at once—a unique feature of its divine design. And it came in the Prophet’s ‘Aam al-Huzn, the Year of Sorrow, after losing both his greatest emotional support—Khadijah—and his greatest public protector—Abu Talib.
And Allāh responds to his grief not with a command, not with a legal ruling, but with a story. A masterpiece.
- The betrayal of family.
- The pain of false hope.
- The burden of being blamed for righteousness.
- The injustice of prison.
- The silence of years.
- And then—mercy, clarity, reunion, reform.
Yusuf عليه السلام walks through fire and emerges not bitter—but radiant. He forgives his betrayers. He lifts a nation. He becomes the healing for a society that once forgot his pain.
And as I stood this morning, immersed in the quiet sanctity of Fajr, I realized...
This wasn’t just a recitation. It was a response.
The Qur’an always speaks—but sometimes, it meets you where you are.
Sometimes, it mirrors what you couldn't put into words.
This morning, I met Yusuf عليه السلام.
And in his story—I found my silence spoken, my burden honored, and my heart held.
📿 May we all find moments like these... when the Qur’an doesn't just guide us, but walks with us.
