Being Mindful of Allah in Youth
Whoever is mindful of Allah when he is young and strong, Allah will take care of him when he is old and has become weak, and will bless him with good hearing, eyesight, strength and reasoning.
One of the scholars (rahimahullah) who lived beyond the age of a hundred years and enjoyed good strength and reasoning, jumped up in a lively manner one day and was asked about that. He (rahimahullah) said: “I kept these physical faculties from sin when I was young and Allah has preserved them for me now that I am old.”
[ #Ibn_Rajab al-Hanbali (rahimahullah), Jami’ Uloom wal Hikam — Compendium of Knowledge and Wisdom, 1/186]

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله stated:
*There is nothing more beneficial to the heart than reciting the Qur’ān, with contemplation and reflection. The Qur’ān bequeathes love, aspiration, fear, hope, repentance, reliance, pleasure, contentment, authority, gratitude, patience, and the all other [necessary] conditions that are life [i.e.vital] to the heart and perfection of it. Likewise, it repels all reprehensible characteristics and actions which cause corruption and destroy the heart.*

Sometimes Allah removes what you thought was a blessing to give you what actually is. You might cry over what left, not realizing it was never meant to stay. You might feel like everything is falling apart, when in reality, everything is falling into place. Allah never takes something away without giving something better in return. Sometimes it’s immediate, sometimes it comes after patience—but it’s always more than you imagined. So don’t chase what Allah has taken away. Don’t mourn what was never written for you. Instead, hold on to what remains: your faith, your prayers, and your connection to Him. Because when your heart is attached to the Giver and not the gift—nothing can truly break you. 🤍

As soon as you face some loss especially if materialistic just say Qadr Allah and inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon.
That's it. The materialistic things can b taken or lost but Allah will reward you for your instant sabr and tawakkul.
I can understand that the non materialistic loss requires time to process such as loosing someone dear and loved one. That requires may be months or years to accept it. Keep saying inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon allahumma ajurni fi musibati wa akhlif li khayram minha.

"There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who wont any more and who always will.
And in the end you will learn who is fake, who is true and who would risk it all for you."
Life's journey is a beautiful, sometimes painful, process of discernment.
There comes a time when the masks fall away, revealing the true hearts of those around us. We learn to distinguish between fleeting connections and enduring bonds, between those who offer superficial support and those who stand by us through thick and thin. The process of identifying true friends, those who would risk it all for us, is a precious gift, a testament to the power of genuine connection and unwavering loyalty.
These relationships, forged in the crucible of life's experiences, are the treasures that enrich our lives and sustain us through every challenge.

Do not be sad.
No eye has shed a tear except that above it is a Merciful and All-Knowing Lord.
{وما تسقط من ورقة إلا يعلمها}
“And not a leaf falls but He knows it”
A leaf falls, and Allah knows it—
No matter where it is, how far it goes, or where it lands.
He knows how it fell,
where it fell,
and when it fell—
whether in the wilderness
or on high mountains.
A leaf falls, unnoticed by people,
unimportant to anyone—
but Allah knows it.
So what about your tears falling in pain and sadness?
Don’t you think the Merciful One knows them too?
What do you think of your Lord—
when He sees your situation,
when your prayer mat is wet with tears
as you pour your heart out to Him,
asking Him to bring you relief?
He is too generous to turn you away empty-handed.
He is the Merciful, the Gentle,
the All-Knowing.
Whoever calls on Him and hopes in Him is never disappointed.
Remembering how vast Allah’s knowledge is
brings peace to the heart when making du‘ā (prayer).
You have a Lord who knows your condition
and hears your prayers—
even in the darkest times.
Raise your hands to the One who knows the hidden and the secret,
the One who knows the fall of every tear and every leaf.

A short lesson on Tawakkul!
The Titanic:
It was built by thousands of people.
Its captain proudly declared,
"Not even God can sink this ship."
Yet it sank on its very first voyage.
The Ark of Noah (peace be upon him):
It was built by a single man, and he said, “In the Name of Allāh will be its course and its anchorage.”
The entire world was drowned in the flood — except the Ark, which remained afloat.
Such is the power of true Tawakkul upon Allāh.
O Allāh, make us among those who rely upon You — and whom You suffice. Aameen

Men are known in times of need, not in times of ease.
Look around you in times of difficulty, who is still there? Who comes to your aid? Who stands with you? That is a man. And the same could be said if you change the "you" to ummah.
And there are men, who rush to the opportunity of reward with Allah as others rush to the opportunity of worldly profit. And they refuse to share the reward and want to do it all themselves, just as people would refuse to share money in this world.
It is they who resemble the sahaba, may Allah reward them abundantly and grant them all that is kheir in both lives.

Your Saved Chat History
It is reported that Ya’lā b. ‘Ubayd said, “We entered upon Ibn Sūqah, who said: ‘O nephew, let me relate to you something that will hopefully benefit you; for it benefited me. ‘Atā b. Abī Rabāh once said to us:'”
Those before you used to consider idle talk to be anything other than the Book of Allāh, or the enjoining of good, or the forbidding of evil, or speaking for the sake of your basic living needs. Do you deny that there are recording angels appointed over you? Sitting on your right and your left? Never is a word said except there is an observer prepared to record? Are you not afraid (ashamed) that your record of words and deeds be spread open only to discover that there is nothing of the hereafter in it?

"A brother who reminds you of Allah and the Hearafter every time he meets you is better for you than a brother who places a dinar ( money) in your hand every time he meets you."
This is because the Hereafter is better and everlasting, while the goodness of this world is transient. Therefore, one who is more concerned about your Hereafter than your worldly life is someone you should strive to be in the company of.

The weak and strong families according to Quranic examples...
* The Quran calls the spider's home the "weakest of all homes."
- The spider doesn't build its web for shelter or comfort. It builds it as a trap to catch and kill. This is like a family or community that is only about using others for personal gain, not about love and support.
- Studies shows that spiders are blood thirsty for food and show no mercy in the time of hunger. Female spider will eat their male counterparts after fertilisation. Their offspring devour their mother at the first given opportunity. This shows a life where selfishness is so extreme that it destroys the family from the inside out.
- Unlike the bees, a spiders home is completely exposed. No doors, no windows, no privacy. Her home is available for everyone to see
- The web might look beautiful and intricate, but it gives no real protection from rain, sun, or danger. This is a powerful warning that worldly things like money or power might look impressive, but they are a false foundation that will not protect you in times of trouble.
*The Quran calls the honey bee's home the "strongest of all homes."
- The honeybee's life is a perfect contrast. Its strength comes from working together.
- The bee is a diligent and hardworking insect that understands the purpose of its existence and lives its whole life in pursuit of it.
- The bees create honey, which is a source of healing and benefit for people. This shows that a strong community is not just good for its own members; it also gives back to the world.
- The bee serve as the model of success for society. They respond to Allah’s revelation and remain committed to both their individual work and to society as a whole.
