THE GUARDIAN ANGELS

"For him (each person), there are angels in succession, before and behind him. They guard him by the Command of Allah." (13:11)

Allah states that there are angels who take turns guarding each servant, some by night and some by day. These angels protect each person from harm and accidents (when the decree of Allah comes – when He decrees that some accident or calamity etc. should befall him – the angels withdraw from him). There are also angels who take turns recording the good and evil deeds, some angels do this by day and some by night.

There are two angels, one to the right and one to the left of each person, recording the deeds. The angel to the right records the good deeds, while the angel to the left records the evil deeds.

There are also two angels that guard and protect each person, one from the back and one from in front.

Therefore, there are four angels that surround each person by day and they are replaced by four others at night, two scribes and two guards.
(and all of them assemble together at the time of the Fajr and 'Asr prayers – Sahih Bukhari 7486).

The 9 desires/regrets people have after death:

◼️ “O would that I had turned into dust.” (30-78: An-Naba, Verse:40)
◼️ “O Would that I had sent ahead (some good deeds) for (this) my life!” (30-89: Al-Fajr, Verse:24)
◼️"Oh, I wish I had not been given my record"(29-69: AL-Haqqah, Verse:25)
◼️"Oh, woe to me! I wish I had not taken that one as a friend."(19-25: AL-Furqan, Verse: 28)
◼️️ “Oh, would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger ﷺ !”(33-22: AL-Ahzab, Verse:66)
◼️"Oh, I wish I had taken a path along with the messenger ﷺ !"(25-19: AL-Furqan, Verse: 27)
◼️"Oh, I wish I had been with them so I could have attained a great attainment."(5-04: An-Nisa, Verse:73)
◼️️ “Alas! I wish I had never associated anyone with my Lord ˹in worship˺!” (15-18: AL-Kahf, Verse:42
◼️️ “Oh! If only we could be sent back, we would never deny the signs of our Lord and we would ˹surely˺ be of the believers.” (7-06: AL-An'am, Verse:27)

There will be no benefit in regretting on that day. So, come back to the Lord's refuge. Because every soul shall taste death.

May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala grant us the ability to understand this.

Praying Tahajjud in the earlier part of the night is better than not praying it at all:

Narrated Abu Qataadah رضي الله عنه: The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم asked Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه: “When do you observe the witr?” He replied: I observe the witr prayer in the early hours of the night. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم asked Umar رضي الله عنه: “When do you observe the witr?” He replied: At the end of the night. He صلى الله عليه وسلم then said to Abu Bakr: “This one has followed it with care”; and he صلى الله عليه وسلم said to Umar: “He has followed it with strength.”
[Sunan Abu Dawood (1434) and graded as “Saheeh” by Shaikh al-Albaanee. Al-Haakim said: It is Saheeh as per the condition of Imaam Muslim and al-Dhahabee agreed with him, and Shaikh al-Albaanee said: It is as they say.]

Masrooq said: I asked `Aaishah رضي الله عنها: When would the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم used to observe the witr prayer? She replied: "He observed the Witr at all these time: sometimes in the early hours of the night, sometimes at midnight and sometimes towards the end of it. But near his death he used to observe the witr just before the dawn." [Sunan Abu Dawood (1435) and graded as “Saheeh” by Shaikh al-Albaanee]

*■ Meaning of Qalb-e-Saleem (The Sound Heart):*

A sound heart is one that is free from spiritual diseases such as shirk (polytheism), disbelief, hypocrisy, envy, hatred, malice, ostentation, and excessive love of the world, and it is filled with love of Allah, sincerity, piety, humility, trust in Allah, and strong faith.

“The Day when neither wealth nor sons will benefit [anyone], except him who comes to Allah with a sound heart.”
(Surah Ash-Shu’ara: 88-89)

● Imam Ibn Kathir (رحمه الله) says:
“The sound heart is the one that is free from shirk and evil.”
📘 [Tafsir Ibn Kathir, explanation of Surah Ash-Shu’ara: 88-89]

● Imam Ibn al-Qayyim (رحمه الله) says:
“The sound heart is that which is free from shirk, malice, envy, hatred, arrogance, love of the world, ostentation, and anything that distances one from Allah. It is filled only with the love of Allah and seeking His pleasure.”
📘 [Ighathat al-Lahfaan, Volume 1, Page 49]

■ Saying of the Prophet ﷺ:
“Verily, in the body there is a piece of flesh; if it is sound, the whole body is sound, and if it is corrupt, the whole body is corrupt. Verily, it is the heart.”
📗 (Sahih Bukhari: 52; Sahih Muslim: 1599)

■ Signs of a Sound Heart:
1. Complete belief in Tawheed (Oneness of Allah) and freedom from shirk.
2. Overwhelming love and fear of Allah.
3. Well-wishing for all of Allah’s creation.
4. Hatred for envy, hatred, malice, and ostentation.
5. Sincerity in actions.

7. Habitual repentance and seeking forgiveness.

A sound heart is the one connected to Allah, free from worldly impurities, and beneficial to creation. Such a heart is the key to success in the Hereafter.

“A sound heart draws one closer to Allah in this world, and becomes a means of salvation in the Hereafter.”

If you think I’m ‘good’ or ‘pious’ because of my posts, you’ve been fooled. Social media doesn’t define righteousness—if it did, the world would be fantastic, and it’s not.

What you see is what I let you see. Nothing more. I’m human, full of failures, flaws, and faults—far from flawlessness. Only Allah knows my reality.

I’m just another person here tryna remind myself about Allah. Any good you see in me is from Allah. The faults? Those are all mine.

The Goodness a Slave Receives from sitting with a Righteous Person

Shaykh AbdurRahman as-Sa’adi -Rahimahullaah- said:

‘The goodness that a slave of Allaah receives with sitting with a righteous person is far reaching and better than the best Musk.

Since he either teaches you that which benefits you in your Deen and your worldly matters, or gifts you with advice, or warns you against carrying out that which will harm you. He also, encourages you upon obedience to Allaah, kindness to parents, keeping good relations with relatives, and opens your eyes to your own mistakes, he invites you to noble and good manners.’

There are many issues to the problems this ummah is facing and why our situation looks like it does.

One of those is cowardice in men and expecting the problems of the ummah to solve itself by du'aa only.

The other major issue is women who wants their husband's to stay with them, by their sides, instead of going out and doing what Allah obligated upon the man.

Because you know, princess wants a romantic marriage life with house, travels, honeymoon and the man in her lap forever because she doesn't want to be left alone. Let someone else take care of it.

Then you hear them say; "We follow Islam with the understanding of the Sahaba"

What a joke. The Sahaba are free from you and your type of life.

“Wage war against yourself from falling into arrogance. An evil characteristic, leading one to disbelief, belittlement of people and rejecting the truth. This is why the wise one (Luqmaan) advised his son not to turn his face away from men, full of pride. This, so that he doesn’t become arrogant towards people.” - Shaykh Rabee ibn Haadee al-Madkhalee [15 Characteristics Of The Slaves Of The Most Merciful" Pp. 48-49].

[Would You Be Pleased to Be From This Category?!]

Al-ʿAllāmah ʿAbd ar-Raḥmān ibn Nāṣir as-Saʿdī (d. 1376 AH) said:

Would a believer be pleased to be among the most skilled of the skilled in his worldly affairs, yet in matters of his religion be among the ignorant rabble who know nothing about religious matters?!

Indeed, he has chosen the lowly, despicable option over the highest, most precious fortune!

He has been content to share with animals and has turned away from the noble traits of the people of virtue!

By Allāh, a single issue that one of you hears, understands, and acts upon is better for him than the world and all that it contains. And your attendance at gatherings of dhikr (knowledge and remembrance) is better and more valuable for you than gatherings that have no benefit.

Indeed, knowledge is better than wealth. Knowledge protects you, whereas you protect wealth. Knowledge comforts you in your life, in your grave, and on the Day you are resurrected. Meanwhile, wealth fills your heart with worry and grief and becomes a burden on your back.

Knowledge brings you closer to the Lord of the worlds, raises you to the highest of high ranks, serves as a light for you with which you walk in the darkness, and as a shield protecting you from calamities and destructions.

Through it, you distinguish between kufr and īmān; through it, you differentiate between the awliyāʾ (friends and protective allies) of ar-Raḥmān and the awliyāʾ of Shayṭān. Through it, you free yourself from the characteristics of the lowly ignorant ones. Through it, you know the truth, and what is ḥarām and ḥalāl.

Through it, you learn how to pray, fast, and worship; how to buy and sell; how to interact with others, marry, eat and drink; and how to stand and sit.

Make your sorrows so dignified
that instead of screaming, they quietly turn into prayers.

And share your happiness so generously
that your smile becomes a light on someone else’s face too.

Remember...
The one whom Allah keeps happy, never becomes the reason for someone else’s sadness.

Allah Loves The Sorrowful Heart That Remains Patient While Facing Trials.

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Allah says, 'I have nothing to give but Paradise as a reward to my believer slave, who, if I cause his dear one (or relative like parents/children etc) to die, remains patient (and hopes for Allah's Reward). [Sahih al-Bukhari 6424]

Ibn al Qayyim said:

فَالْحُزْنُ مُصِيبَةٌ مِنَ الْمَصَائِبِ، الَّتِي يَبْتَلِي اللَّهُ
بِهَا عَبْدَهُ، فَإِذَا ابْتَلَى بِهِ الْعَبْدَ فَصَبَرَ عَلَيْهِ، أَحَبَّ صَبْرَهُ عَلَى بَلَائِهِ
