“The year is like a tree: its months are its branches, its days are its twigs, its hours are its leaves, and its breaths are its fruits. So whoever’s breaths are spent in obedience (to Allah), the fruit of his tree is sweet. And whoever’s breaths are spent in disobedience, the fruit of his tree is bitter — like colocynth (bitter desert fruit). The harvest will take place on the Day of Resurrection, and only then will the sweetness or bitterness of the fruit be truly revealed.”

When Ibn Al-Jawzi advised his son on how he(Ibn Al-Jawzi) became so successful he said "My son I will sum up my success in a few words :
وَاتَّقُواْ اللَّهَ وَيُعَلِّمُكُمُ اللَّهُ
”Fear Allaah, and Allaah will teach you.” [Surah al-Baqarah:282]

The believer does not insult others, does not curse others, is not vulgar, and is not shameless.

ALLĀH's Messenger ﷺ said:
"A man will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and will be cast into Hell: his intestines will pour forth and he will go round them as a donkey goes round a millstone."
The inmates of Hell will gather round him and say: "What has happened to you, O so-and-so? Were you not enjoining us to do good and forbidding us to evil?"
He will reply: "I was enjoying you to do good, but was not doing it myself; and I was forbidding you to do evil, but was doing it my self."

Came across powerful visual metaphor on LinkedIn today:
two meals, one burnt from one hour at 900°F, and one perfectly cooked from three hours at 300°F.
It was a timely reminder that lasting growth - both personal and professional - is not about speed, but about strategy, consistency, and patience.
We live in a world that glorifies urgency, but real mastery takes time. So if your journey feels slow, take heart—you might just be slow-cooking something exceptional.

This is Called Respect & Adab۔
1️⃣ "I Have Not Eyed the Prophet (ﷺ) Fully..."
Amr bin Al-Aas (رضي الله عنه), on his deathbed, said:
"No one was dearer to me than the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and none was more sublime in my eyes than he. Never could I gather the courage to look at his face completely due to its immense splendor. So if I am asked to describe his features, I cannot, for I have not eyed him fully..."
Sahih Muslim 21
2️⃣ Umar (رضي الله عنه) Lowered His Voice So Low in Respect۔
After the verse was revealed:
"O you who believe! Raise not your voices above the voice of the Prophet..." (Quran 49:2)
Ibn Az-Zubair (رضي الله عنه) narrated:
From that moment, Umar (رضي الله عنه) spoke so softly that the Prophet (ﷺ) would ask him to repeat his words.
📖 Bukhari 4845
This is TRUE ADAB. Do we lower our voices when his name is mentioned and send blessings. Rather we start shouting Ya Rasool Allah even though we claim he is watching and hearing۔
May Allah increase our love for the Prophet (ﷺ) and grant us the humility to follow his Sunnah with sincerity. Ameen

On social media (namely YouTube) you will find many videos of people who have recorded themselves doing ruqyah on a patient.
In these videos, the jinn is having a strong reaction to the recitation and is usually screaming or moving around in a violent way.
There are several problems with such videos:
‣ It makes the raqi look like someone special. He really isn't. He is a normal person like all of us and he has NO special ability whatsoever. He has sins which he is struggling with and he has weaknesses. Jinn react differently to recitation for a variety of reasons; we should not post videos of jinn jumping up and down which make us look special.
‣ Sometimes a shaytaan will laugh at you when you recite and at other times there isn't much of a reaction at all - however the brothers only post up videos which seem interesting. This gives a skewed picture of ruqyah to the people who don't know any better and may lead to attachment to one particular raqi - especially as he always seems to "get a reaction".
‣ Many people have been scared off self-ruqyah due to these videos of violent reactions. They wonder how they will react and shaytan uses this as a tool against them, meaning they actually don't do ruqyah out of fear. Thus it is massively counterproductive because ruqyah can benefit everyone; and the majority of people certainly don't react the same as what we see in the videos.
‣ In these videos we usually see the raqi doing fancy things over and above simple recitation of the Qur'an - leading the people to think that the Qur'an "is not enough" - when in actual fact we don't need anything more than Qur'an. The other techniques from experience are just that, experience which is not discarded but which should never overtake what Allah and His Messenger (salAllahu alayhi wa sallam) have told us about.
‣ These videos have become a means of self-promotion and are a form of self-praise, and i suspect that ultimately this is the primary reason for uploading them. The raqi is misleading others into thinking he has treated many people when in actual fact this may not be the case and ALL CURE IS FROM ALLAH ALONE. So you will see the raqi's contact details splattered all over the video and their assistance almost always comes with a very heavy price indeed.
‣ These videos serve no or very little educational purpose. You're not going to learn anything beneficial from such videos because every case is unique and strong knowledge of the basics is required. I even know of videos being made and uploaded WITHOUT the consent of the patient. Such people should fear Allah.
‣ These videos become entertainment for others. W'Allahi it is disgraceful to be entertained by the suffering of your brothers and sisters. Perhaps a person is laughing today but they will be afflicted themselves tomorrow?
‣ What about when the person recovers insha'Allah? Will they still want their business all over the internet? Probably not. But it is often too late by that stage and it has spread far and wide. This may even come under the heading of exposing another Muslim, for which a person should fear that they too will be exposed by Allah.
It is for these reasons (and many more) that i advise you not to watch "recorded ruqya" sessions on youtube and I advise those who have uploaded them to fear Allah and take them down. It is upon us to tell those who are posting such videos that they should stop doing so and remove that which has already occurred.

Shaykh ‘Abdur-Razzaq al-Badr mentioned an incident that an old man came to him and said:
“O Shaykh, I have not memorised anything (of Quran) except for Surah Al-Fatihah and Surah Al-Ikhlaas and I stand in prayer every night for 2 hours…”

“O Shaykh is it permissible for me to keep repeating them (the two surahs in every prayer)?'”

because it's really hard to deal with people, hard to live with them, and very hard to bear the noise.
from dealing with toxic parents to handling the toxic friendships, everything is messed up, creating new ideas of hyper individualism and loneliness, beautifying the let go of every relation you come across that makes you a little uncomfortable, yes sure, you should leave the table that doesn't respect you or where you feel inferior (except that it's your own inferiority complex), but there should be a balance na? if you go on leaving people like that, what'll you have in the end? loneliness? believe me just how much aesthetic it sounds it's actually really very tormenting.
i read somewhere,"parents and children are bound to break each other's hearts, parents break their children's heart and children break their parents' hearts, you might not have birthed them, but if they break your heart that means they're yours."
because some people are just too precious to lose, learn to cherish the people you've around you. the inconveniences they bring, before they're lost forever. learn to keep a balance between letting go, and giving a few more chances.
but then it just takes one phone call, one heartfelt chat, one video call or a meetup to get things back together.

Become a little deaf and a little blind to the faults of people. Learn to see good in everyone and give people excuses.
Shaytan will try his hardest to amplify someone's mistake and diminish the good someone's done for you.
Perfect people are reserved for Jannah.
Learn to be easy on your own heart and on the hearts of others.
Don't let people walk over you and treat you like a doormat but also don't be quick to cancel and cut people off too quickly. Give people chances.

“A person’s adab is a sign of his happiness and success. The lack of adab is a sign of his misery and ruin. The goodness of the dunyā and ākhirah is drawn by the likes of adab, and the deprivation of their goodness is drawn by the lack of adab.”

Bukhoor and its uses: keeping it sunnah
Bukhoor is mubāh (permissible) and often recommended
The Salaf based on narrations used fragrance or incense on Jumu’ah (Friday)
From Ibn ‘Umar (Radiallahu Anhu)
“The Prophet Sallahu Allayhi Wasalam used to wear perfume on Fridays.”
- Sahih Al Bukhari, 910
It may be used to perfume the masjid or clothes on the day of Jumu’ah
Scholar opinions:
Sheikh Ibn Baz: There is nothing wrong with perfuming the mosque with incense (Bukhoor) as long as there is no harm.” - Fatawa Nur Ala Al-Darb
Bukhoor is often used in cultural gatherings and is often seen as a sign of respect for guests in the Middle East and Arabian Peninsula.
However claiming it helps for spiritual cleansing, ruqyah, evil eye, jinn, this is biddah. There is also no valid evidence in the sunnah.
"This is forbidden. It is not permissible to use bukhoor to drive away the jinn-this has not been mentioned. The jinn are repelled by seeking refuge with Allah, reciting the Qur'an, and remembering Allah. As for bukhoor, there is no basis for this, rather it is a bid'ah (innovation)."
