People with genuine intentions always win. Maybe not in the way the world counts victories, maybe not in the timing they hoped for, but they win because nothing pure is ever forgotten by Allah. Sincerity is a kind of strength that survives even when people take advantage, misunderstand, or leave. It’s the kind of strength that stays when everything else fades.

There are days when genuine hearts feel like they’re always the ones breaking, always the ones carrying the heavier weight. But pain is not proof of defeat. Sometimes it is the very path that sets them apart, the silent evidence that goodness can exist even in a world that often chooses the opposite. And while people may never fully see or return what was given, Allah never misses a moment of it.

So yes, people with genuine intentions always win. If the victory doesn’t show here, it will in the Hereafter. The reward of a sincere heart is not tied to applause or recognition; it is tied to the justice of Allah, and His justice is never late. In the end, no one loses by being good.

⚪️ The Types of Hearts

Al-Allāmah Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhāb Al-Wussābi, may Allah have mercy on him, said:

🟠 There are three types of hearts:

1. A sound & healthy heart: It is the heart of the living, alert believer.

2. A sick heart: It is the heart of the one who follows innovations & [commits] sins, & the heart of the hypocrite.

3. A dead heart: It is the heart of the disbeliever.

|| A good heart is the key to a good life❣️

Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullah) explains that the keys to the good life are knowledge, determination, and character.

He says:
"And Allah has made the good life for those who know Him. love Him, and worship Him.

So He says: "Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer We will surely cause him to live a good life, and We will surely give them their reward [in the Hereafter] according to the best of what they used to do."

Al-Nahl: 97

Ibn al-Qayyim (Rahimahullah) said:

If you read (the Qur'an) with contemplation, even if over a (single) ayah, it is a key to healing your heart. Even if repeated a hundred times and for the (whole) night. Reading an ayah with contemplation and understanding is better than reading to completion without tadabbur and understanding. It is more beneficial for the heart and ensures gain in faith, and in tasting sweetness of the Qur'an.

"Be pleased with everything that Allāh does with you. For indeed He does not prevent you except to give you. He does not test you except to protect and save you. He does not give you ill health except to cure you. He does not give you death except to give life to you.

So beware of not being pleased with Him even for the blink of an eye. Such that you fall in His eye."

Life is Short, Be Intelligent

The intelligent person knows that real life is the life lived in happiness and tranquility, and that this life is very short. Therefore, he should not make it even shorter with anxiety and endless worries. This contradicts a meaningful existence. Let him be tenaciously stingy with his life and not allow large portions of it to be robbed from him by anxieties and worries.

And among the most effective ways to repel depression is to accustom yourself to not expect appreciation except from Allaah. If you treat someone who has a right upon you or no such benevolently, then know that this is due to your good etiquettes with Allaah, so do not worry about being thanked by them.

Allaah said about the best of His creation:

إِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ ٱللَّهِ لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَآءً وَلَا شُكُورًا
"We feed you only seeking the Face of Allah. We desire not from you reward nor gratitude."
[Surat al-Insan (76:9)]

Some of What You Need to Know About Jumu'āh (Friday)

💫The Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) said:
Verily, Allāh has made this day (of Friday) a celebration for the Muslims. So whoever comes to Friday (prayer), then let him bathe himself, and if he has any perfume let him put some on, and use the toothstick.

📖 [Reported by Ibn Mājah 1098 and S‌ah‌i‌h‌ at-Targheeb 1/298]

💫 Shaykh Ṣāliḥ Al-Fawzān حفظه الله was asked:

What is the ruling on sending text messages every Friday and ending with the phrase “Jumu’āh Mubārak”?

He replied:

The early generation (salaf) did not congratulate one another on Fridays (did not say Jumu’āh Mubarak to each other) so we should not introduce anything that they did not do.

📖 [Shaykh Ṣāliḥ Al-Fawzān (حفظه الله), Ajwabat As’ilah Majallat al-Da‘wah al-Islamiyyah]

💫 The Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) said:
Increase in salutations upon me, on the day of Friday (Jumu’āh) and its night (from Thursday after Maghrib).

📖 [Ibnul-Qayyim رحمه الله, Zaad al-Ma’aad, 2/420]

💫 The Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) said:
The best of prayers with Allāh is the prayer of morning (Fajr) on the Day of Friday in congregation.

📖 [as-Saheehah, 1566]

💫 The Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) said:
There is such an hour on Friday, that if any Muslim makes Du’ā during it, his Du’ā will be accepted.

📖 [S‌ah‌i‌h‌ Al-Bukhārī, 5295, S‌ah‌i‌h‌ Muslim 852]

💫 The Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) said:
Whoever performs Ghusl on Friday, and bathes completely, and goes early, arriving early, gets close and listens and is silent, there will be for him in every step he takes, the reward of a year of fasting and standing (in prayer).

📖 [Jami’ at-Tirmidhī, 496]

💫 The Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) said:
Jumu'āh to Jumu'āh expiates the minor sins in between them except for the major sins.

📖 [Silsilah as-Saheehah, 3623]

💫 The Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ):
The best of days with Allāh is the day of Jumu'ah.

📖 [S‌ah‌i‌h‌ al-Jami’, 1098, as-Silsilah as-Saheehah, 1502]

💫 Ibnul-Qayyim (رحمه الله):
The Hour of Response in it (i.e., Friday) is like the Night of Decree in Ramaḍān.

📖 [Ibnul-Qayyim رحمه الله, Zaad al-Ma’ad, 1/893]

If we truly understood who Allah is, we would never trade our Hereafter for this dunya. Yet how many people do we see busying themselves with work, chasing the dunya, while neglecting to learn and give time to Ar-Razzāq—the Great Provider?

Do we not realize that Allah is the One who gave us everything we have? Why then do we forget Him, pouring all our energy into our jobs, when in a single moment Allah could take away our eyesight or our strength—and that same job would quickly replace us?

Some people have drowned in this dunya and will not awaken until they enter their grave—where regret will no longer benefit them.

May Allah have mercy on us, guide our hearts to goodness, and keep us mindful of Him always. Āmīn.

Muhsin Khan Translation:
Surah 11 verse 49
This is of the news of the Ghaib (unseen) which We reveal unto you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم); neither you nor your people knew them before this. So be patient. Surely, the (good) end is for the Muttaqun (the pious).

🔥🌷Hide your good deeds like you hide your bad ones 🌷 🔥

Hasan ‘l-Basrî said, speaking about the striving of the Salaf in hiding their deeds,

“A man would have gathered the Qur’ân (i.e. memorised it) whilst his neighbour would be unaware. Another man would have learnt a lot of Fiqh whilst the people would be unaware. A man would be praying lengthy prayer in his house, whilst he has guests, and they would not even realise. Indeed, I came across a people, there was not a single deed on the face of this earth which could be done in secret, that they ever done it in public!”

**“SubhanAllah, the Prophet ﷺ said, ‘The grave is the most horrific sight you could see.’ Every time I step into a grave—some deeper than others—and complete the final touches, I can’t help but think: these are the worldly touches. But what about the reality for the one being laid here? Will this be a garden from the gardens of Paradise, or a pit from the pits of Hellfire? That answer depends solely on our actions and deeds in this life.

The Prophet ﷺ said: ‘The grave is either a garden from the gardens of Paradise or a pit from the pits of Hellfire.’ (Tirmidhi)

My brothers and sisters, prepare yourselves for that day. Beautify your grave now with righteous deeds, charity, prayer, and sincere repentance—before the soil closes upon us.”**
