#Shaykh Ibn Bāz رحمه الله:

“Loving Prophet ﷺ is not to organise his birthday (Mawlid), rather loving him requires following him, holding onto his Shariah, defending it, calling to it and being firm upon it, this is real love for Prophet ﷺ.”

[فتاوى نور على الدرب الجزء الأول]

There is no point in arguing with someone who wants to celebrate the innovated Mawlid celebration; obedience and love cannot be taught, it is only gifted.

Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“For each (person), there are angels in succession, before and behind him. They guard him by the Command of Allah”

[ar-Ra‘d 13:11]

‘Ikrimah narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that he said: “They guard him by the Command of Allah” – this refers to angels who protect him from in front and from behind, but when the decree of Allah comes, they step back."

Mujaahid said: "There is no person who does not have an angel appointed over him, to protect him whilst he sleeps and when he is awake from the jinn, humans and vermin, so none of them come towards him, intending him ill, but the angel says: Get back – except for something that Allah decrees is to reach him, then it befalls him."

When Prophet Isa (Jesus) returns, his mission will be multifaceted
- *Defeating the False Messiah*: He will lead the fight against the Dajjal (Antichrist), a figure of extreme deception and evil, and ultimately defeat him, bringing an end to chaos and restoring order.
- *Establishing Justice and Peace*: Prophet Isa will establish justice and equity on Earth, eradicating oppression and ensuring the principles of monotheism and righteousness prevail. He will rule with fairness, and wealth will abound.
- *Confirming Islamic Belief*: He will affirm the truth of Islam, guiding those who have strayed from the path back to the right way of worshiping Allah. His return will mark the final re-establishment of pure monotheistic belief in Allah.
- *Uniting Humanity*: Prophet Isa's return will unite people of different faiths in the worship of Allah, symbolizing ultimate harmony among all humanity.
- *Breaking the Cross and Abolishing Jizya*: He will break the cross, symbolizing the rejection of distorted Christian beliefs, and abolish the jizya tax, as all people will embrace Islam during his reign.
- *Restoring Monotheism*: Prophet Isa will reaffirm the oneness of Allah, clarifying that he never claimed divinity, and guiding humanity towards the true faith.

His return is seen as a pivotal event in Islamic eschatology, marking the beginning of a golden age of peace, justice, and righteousness before the final judgment

Ahmad ibn Harb (d. 234 AH رحمه الله) said:

"I worshiped Allah for fifty years and did not find the sweetness of worship until I left three things:

I left seeking the approval of people until I was able to speak the truth.

I left the company of the wicked until I found the company of the righteous.

And I left the sweetness of this world until I found the sweetness of the Hereafter..."

Repay Them Or Make Du’ā!

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“If anyone does something good for you, then repay him. If you do not have the means to repay him, then supplicate for him, until you feel that you have repaid him.”

Your circle will either bring you closer to Jannah or push you towards Jahannam. Choose them wisely.
Not everyone who laughs with you wants good for you. In Islam, companionship is an amanah, it shapes your heart, your habits, your destiny. Be with people who remind you of Allah without even speaking His name. The ones who care about your Akhirah more than your approval. The ones who pull you back when you’re about to fall, even if it means you get upset at them.

Not everyone is worth calling a friend. And not every friend deserves a front-row seat in your life. Protect your peace. Protect your deen.

"The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم asked me at sunset: "Do you know where the sun goes (at the time of sunset)?"
I replied: "Allah and His Messenger know better."

He said: "It goes (i.e. travels) till it prostrates Itself underneath the Throne and takes the permission to rise again, and it is permitted (...)"

WITH THE 'NAME OF ALLĀH' ONE IS PROTECTED FROM EVERY HARM IN THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH

Aban ibn Uthman said: I heard Uthman ibn Affan (his father, may ALLĀH be pleased with him) say: I heard the Messenger of ALLĀH (ﷺ) say: "If anyone says three times:

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِى لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ ٱسۡمِهِ شَيءٌ فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَا فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ
Bismillāhil-lathī lā yadhurru ma'as-mihi shay'un fil-ardhi wa lā fis-samā'i wa Huwas-Samī'ul- 'Alīm.

In the name of ALLĀH with whose name nothing is harmed on earth nor in the heavens and HE is The All-Hearing, The All-Knowing.'

he will not suffer sudden affliction till the morning, and if anyone says this in the morning, he will not suffer sudden affliction till the evening."

Aban (the narrator of the hadith) was afflicted by some paralysis and when a man who heard the hadith began to look at him, he said to him: 'Why are you looking at me? I swear by ALLĀH, I did not tell a lie about Uthman, nor did Uthman tell a lie about the Prophet (ﷺ), but that day when I was afflicted by it, I became angry and forgot to say them.

📚 Sunan Abi Dāwūd #5088

BENEFITS FROM THE LATTER PART OF THE HADITH:

1⃣. That anger is an affliction which comes between a person and his intellect.

2⃣. If ALLĀH wills the execution of HIS decree, HE diverts the servant from whatever would prevent it.

3⃣. The strong eagerness of the hadith transmitters in bearing and conveying (narrations).

4⃣. The firm certainty of the early predecessors in ALLĀH, the Exalted.

📚 Mentioned in Bahjatu an-Nādhirīn: Sharḥ Riyādhus-Saliḥīn by Sheikh Sulaym al-Hilālī (Hadīth #1457)

Al-Qurtubī (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) said concerning this Hadīth: "This is an authentic report and a truthful statement whose proof we came to know by way of both Dalīl (i.e. the evidence in the Hadīth) as well as Tajribah (from actual experience). Since I first heard this Hadīth I acted upon it, and nothing harmed me until ˹one day˺ I did not recite it. As a result, I was stung by a scorpion during the night in Madīnah. When I thought over it, I realized that I had forgotten to seek refuge ˹in ALLĀH˺ through these words.

Earthquakes: Your Lord Is Warning You

Imām Ibn Al-Qayyim [d. 751H] said:

“Allāh sometimes gives the earth permission to breathe, which is when major earthquakes happen; this makes people feel scared, so they repent, give up sins, pray to Allāh and feel regret [for their sins].

When there had been an earthquake, some of the Salaf said: Your Lord is warning you.

When Medina was struck by an earthquake, ‘Umar Ibn Al-Khattāb addressed the people and said:

“If there is another earthquake, I will not stay here with you.”

*You Cannot Swear by the Creation*

Shaykh al-Islām Ibn Taymīyyah رحمه الله said:

“Even if some created things are greater than others, all of them share in the fact that none of them are made equals to Allāh, Most High. Thus, they are not worshipped, tawakkul is not done upon them, khashyah (fear) is not done of them, taqwā is not done of them, ṣiyām is not done for them, they are not prostrated to, they are not earnestly pleaded with, nor are they sworn by.

“This is as has been confirmed in al-Ṣaḥīḥ from the Nabī ﷺ that he said:

مَنْ كَانَ حَالِفاً فَلْيَحْلِفْ بِاللهِ أَوْ لِيَصْمُتْ
“ ‘Whoever is to make a vow, then he must swear by Allāh or be silent,’ and he said:

لَا تَحْلِفُوا إِلَّا بِاللهِ
“ ‘Do not swear except by Allāh.’

“It has also been narrated from him in al-Sunan that he said:

مَنْ حَلَفَ بِغَيْرِ اللهِ فَقَدْ أَشْرَكَ
“ ‘Whoever swears by other than Allāh has indeed committed shirk.’

“As such, it has been confirmed by way of clear and ṣaḥīḥ texts from the Nabī ﷺ that it is not permissible to swear by any created thing, and there is no difference in that between the Malāʾikah, the Anbiyāʾ, the righteous, and others, and there is no difference between one Nabī and another.”

I stumbled upon a quote in celebration of Mawlid (the birth of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) that made me think about its credibility.

Ibn al-Jazri said about celebrating the Mawlid of the Prophet (peace be upon him):

ومما جرب من خواصه أنه أمان في ذلك العام، وبشرى عاجلة بنيل البغية والمرام، فرحم الله امرأ اتخذ ليالي شهر مولده المبارك أعيادًا

And among its tested special qualities is that it is a source of safety for that entire year and brings glad tidings of the immediate fulfillment of one's needs and desires. So may Allah have mercy on whoever takes the nights of the blessed month of his birth as festivals.

(Sharh Zurqani 1/262)

However, when we observe reality, we see that during the month of Rabi‘ al-Awwal, many calamities and hardships have struck different parts of the world, let alone whole of year. This clearly shows how weak such arguments are in light of the truth.

May Allah protect the Ummah and the world from calamities and guide us all to what is most pleasing to Him.

P.S. May Allah have mercy upon Ibn al-Jazri. He is the same scholar whom Mulla ‘Ali al-Qari refuted when Ibn al-Jazri said:

“The people of the cross celebrate the night of the Mawlid of their prophet and consider it a great Eid. That is why the people of Islam have more right to celebrate the night of the Mawlid of their Prophet (peace be upon him).”

Mulla ‘Ali al-Qari refuted this by saying:

قُلْتُ: لَكِن يَرُدُّ عَلَيْهِ أَنَّا مَأْمُورُونَ بِمُخَالَفَةِ أَهْلِ الكِتَابِ، وَلَمْ يَظْهَرْ مِنَ الشَّيْخِ لِهَذَا السُّؤَالِ جَوَابٌ
“I say: But it is countered by the fact that we are commanded to oppose the practices of the People of the Book. And no answer from the Shaykh (Ibn al-Jazri) to this question has been apparent.”
[Al-Mawrid al-Rawi fi al-Mawlid al-Nabawi, by Mulla ‘Ali al-Qari, pp. 28-29]

Indeed, true success lies in following the Prophet ﷺ, the Sahabah, the Tābiʿīn, and the Atbāʿ al-Tābiʿīn

DO NOT TAKE INNOVATION/BIDDAH LIGHTLY ❗️

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:

"Some of my companions will come to me at Al-Ḥauḍ (Al-Kauthar) and after I recognize them, they will then be taken away from me, where upon I will say: 'My companions!'

Then it will be said: 'You do not know what they innovated (new things) in the religion after you.'"

Beware of betraying a believer;

Whoever betrayed a believer has betrayed Allāh and His Messenger (salAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam)

And when you love a brother for the sake of Allah,

then be kind and generous with him.

And beware of conflicts, controversies and arguments (with brothers),

Lest you become a habitually sinful deceiver.

And be patient with everyone,

because patience leads to righteousness,

and righteousness leads to Jannah.

THE MAN THAT KILLED 99 PEOPLE.

Abu Said Al-Khudri (radiAllahuanhu) reported: Prophet of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wassallam) said:

“There was a man from among a nation before you who killed ninety-nine people and then made an inquiry about the most learned person on the earth. He was directed to a monk. He came to him and told him that he had killed ninety-nine people and asked him if there was any chance for his repentance to be accepted. He replied in the negative and the man killed him also completing one hundred.

He then asked about the most learned man in the earth. He was directed to a scholar. He told him that he had killed one hundred people and asked him if there was any chance for his repentance to be accepted. He replied in the affirmative and asked,
Who stands between you and repentance? Go to such and such land; there (you will find) people devoted to prayer and worship of Allah, join them in worship, and do not come back to your land because it is an evil place.’

So he went away and hardly had he covered half the distance when death overtook him; and there was a dispute between the angels of mercy and the angels of torment. The angels of mercy pleaded, ‘This man has come with a repenting heart to Allah,’ and the angels of punishment argued, ‘He never did a virtuous deed in his life.’ Then there appeared another angel in the form of a human being and the contending angels agreed to make him arbiter between them. He said, `Measure the distance between the two lands. He will be considered belonging to the land to which he is nearer.’ They measured and found him closer to the land (land of piety) where he intended to go, and so the angels of mercy collected his soul”.

[Al Bukhari and Muslim]

Benefits derived from this Hadith:

1. It does not matter how great the sins of the servant of Allah is, the doors of touba (repentance) is always open. As Allah says in the Holy Quran Say: “O ‘Ibâdî (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allâh, verily, Allâh forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. [Chapter 39 Verse 53]

2. To give up hope on the mercy of Allah increases one in the disobedience of Allah as the man in the hadith killed the worshiper as he lost hope in the mercy of Allah and completing by it the hundred.

3. To give verdicts (fatwa) without knowledge can be the cause of your destruction and the destruction of others.

4. The one that is seeking legal verdicts should approach learned scholars and not just any pious person without any knowledge.

5. Pious companionship aids to the obedience of Allah.

6. The eagerness of the Angels to fulfill the commandments of Allah.

7. The one that seeks repentance should leave the evil place he is in, in order that he doesn’t fall in the same sin again.

8. Actions are judged by its endings.

I ask Allah to grant us pious endings Ameen.

If you opened your eyes this morning, don’t assume you will close them in the same bed tonight. Many before us thought the same, yet they woke up in their final resting place — a grave, not a bedroom. And our turn is only a matter of time.

So my brothers and sisters, don’t let pride weigh you down. Swallow it. Forgive before it’s too late. Make that phone call. Ask for forgiveness, and grant it to others. Be merciful, for the Most Merciful loves those who show mercy.

Even the smallest act counts — the Prophet ﷺ said: “Your smile for your brother is charity.” (Tirmidhi). A simple smile may be the deed that tips your scale on the Day you stand before Allah.

Live humbly, forgive freely, and smile sincerely — for tomorrow, you may be the one others are lowering into the ground.#tomb #bed #comfort #grave #home
