Oppression is oppression, regardless of whether the one committing it is a Muslim or not.
Narrated Anas (رضي الله عنه):
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
"Help your brother, whether he is an oppressor or he is an oppressed one."
People asked: "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! It is all right to help him if he is oppressed, but how should we help him if he is an oppressor?"
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
"By preventing him from oppressing others."
📚 Sahih Bukhari 2444
We can’t pick and choose justice depending on who the oppressor is. Islam teaches us to be just even if it’s against ourselves or our families:
“
O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even though it be against yourselves or your parents or your kin.”
— Sūrah an-Nisā’ 4:135
Let us prevent oppression wherever it occurs. Speak up for Sudan like we speak up for Palestine — justice for the oppressed is a duty, no matter who the oppressor is.

Shaykh Muhammad Ibn 'Abdul Wahhab رحمه الله said,
I saw some people sitting in the mosque with their Qurans, reciting and weeping.
However, they did not enjoin the good if they saw it nor they did not prevent evil if they saw it.
I saw people sitting near them saying,
"These are the sources of benefit,”
But I said, "These are the sources of disgrace."
Someone heard me and said, "I can not (ever) say they are a source of disgrace!"
So, I replied to him, "Rather they are blind and mute."
And this is supported by what some of the Salaf said:
"The one who is silent about the truth is a silent devil, while the one who speaks falsehood is a speaking devil."
[Shaykh Muhammad In 'Abdul Wahhab رحمه الله , Hamad Ibn 'Atiq رحمه الله , Durar as-Saniyyah, 8/75-791]

Ibn Jama‘ah al-Kinani al-Shafi‘i mentioned a fine and subtle point regarding the sign by which a person can know whether he is a “child of the dunya” or a “child of the Hereafter.” He related it from Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ibn Firas, who said:
I asked Mutahhir ibn al-Walid:
“With what can a person know whether he belongs to the people of the dunya or the people of the Hereafter?”
He replied:
Some people said:
“When he enters the prayer, let him observe the whispers that come to him in his salah: are they about worldly matters or about matters of the Hereafter?”
And others said:
“Let him look at the first concern that meets him when he wakes up from sleep.
Whatever first concern he encounters, he is from its people!
If the first thing that meets him is a concern of the dunya, then he is from the children of the dunya.
And if the first thing that meets him is a concern of the Hereafter, then he is from the children of the Hereafter.”
Mutahhir said:
“This is the better of the two statements.”
End quote.
From the book Anas al-Muḥāḍarah bimā Yustaḥsan fī al-Mudhakara (p. 666).

THE FOUR SACRED MONTHS - RAJAB IS ONE AMONG THESE.
Rajab starting in Gulf Countries tomorrow. إن شاء الله
1⃣RAJAB
2⃣Dhul-Qa‘dah
3⃣Dhul-Hijjah
4⃣Al-Muharram
➡️Allaah The Almighty said:
{إِنَّ عِدَّةَ الشُّهُورِ عِندَ اللَّهِ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَهْرًا فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ يَوْمَ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ مِنْهَا أَرْبَعَةٌ حُرُمٌ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ الدِّينُ الْقَيِّمُ ۚ فَلَا تَظْلِمُوا فِيهِنَّ أَنفُسَكُمْ ۚ وَقَاتِلُوا الْمُشْرِكِينَ كَافَّةً كَمَا يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ كَافَّةً ۚ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الْمُتَّقِينَ}
{Indeed, the number of months with Allaah is twelve [lunar] months in the register of Allaah [from] the day He created the heavens and the earth; of these, four are sacred. That is the correct religion, so do not wrong yourselves during them. And fight against the disbelievers collectively as they fight against you collectively. And know that Allaah is with the righteous [who fear Him].} [At-Tawba:36].
➡️Imam Al-Bukhaari and Muslim reported in their Saheehs from the Hadeeth of Abi Bakarah, may Allaah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessing be upon him, gave a speech in Al-Wadaa‘ (i.e. Farewell) Hajj in which he said:
"Time has come back to its original state which it had when Allaah The Almighty created the Heavens and the Earth; the year is twelve months, four of which are sacred. Three of them are in succession; Dhul-Qa‘dah, Dhul-Hijjah and Al-Muharram, and (the fourth being) Rajab which stands between Jumad (ath-thaani) and Sha‘ban."
📚 Tafsir ibn Kathir
❓What are the implications of being within a 'sacred' month?
➡️The companion Ibnu 'Abbas said:
"Although one isn't to disobey Allah throughout the entire year, but Allah has singled out four specific months and made them sacred and emphasised their sanctity, and has made sin during these months greater, and has made righteous deeds and their reward greater as well."

✒ The Better Believer
Prophet Muḥammad Ṣallallāhu-ʿAlaihi Wa Sallam said:
المؤمن الذي يخالط الناس ويصبر على أذاهم أفضل من المؤمن الذي لا يخالط الناس ولا يصبر على أذاهم
“The believer who mixes with people and is patient upon their harm is BETTER than the believer who does not mingle with people nor is patient upon their harm.”
● [مختصر صحيح الجامع الصغير برقم ٦٦٥١ ، صححه الألباني]
al-ʿAllāmah al-Munāwee Raḥimahullāh said in its Sharḥ:
“And know that Allāh does not allow people to overcome you (with harm) except due to sins which occur from your hands, so seek Allāh's Forgiveness and know that this harm is a punishment from Him.”

just a gentle reminder for anyone whose heart feels heavy over things completely outside their control: worrying won’t change what Allāh has already taken charge of.
we sit with our thoughts, replaying fears and possibilities, forgetting that the One who created the heavens and the earth with all their complexity and beauty is the same one managing every detail of our lives. the trial you’re facing is not difficult for Him. He can lift it from you in a moment, at any second. all He asks is that you take the means.
turn back to Him with sincere tawbah. raise your hands and make duʿa, even the quiet ones that come from deep within your chest. let go of the sins you know are weighing you down. and trust, truly trust, that Allāh sees you, hears you, and will not leave you in hardship without purpose.
Allāh does not burden a soul beyond what it can bear. and He is exactly as His servant expects Him to be. so expect goodness, expect mercy, expect relief, and watch how He brings it to you in ways you never imagined.
may Allāh ease our hearts, lift our burdens, and fill our lives with tranquility and clarity. Aameen

“And whatsoever the Messenger (Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)) gives you, take it, and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it)”

[an-Noor 24:63]
Narrated by AbuRafi':
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Let me not find one of you reclining on his couch when he hears something regarding me which I have commanded or forbidden and saying: 'We do not know. What we found in Allah's Book we have followed (i.e alone, without the sunnah)'."

"With regard to every obligation that Allah, may He be exalted, has enjoined in His book, such as Hajj, prayer and zakaah, were it not for the explanation of the Messenger, we would not know how to do it and it would not be possible for us to do any act of worship. When a kind word comes from a pious and pure heart and settles in a heart that is open to it, the listener will benefit from it, and the one who spoke it will find its blessing. So choose the finest of words, and purify your hearts before seeking to refine your tongues. Seek hearts that are receptive to receive them, and you will witness the benefit to the listeners and attain the blessing of reform in both worldly and religious matters.

Ibn al-Jawzi (rahimahullah):
I was overwhelmed by a matter that caused constant and persistent distress,
And I began to excessively think about how to get rid of these worries by every means and in every way, but I found no way out.
Then this verse came to me:
﴿وَمَن يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَل لَّهُ مَخْرَجًا﴾
And whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). [65:2]
So I realized that taqwa (piety and fear of Allah) is the cause of relief from every distress,
And (thereafter), I only intended to achieve taqwa, and I found the way out (of my distress).
[Sayd al-Khatir, 204, Ibn al-Jawzi (rahimahullah)]
Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullah):
In the same way that the affairs of the one who fears Allah are made easy,
the affairs of the one who leaves off taqwa (fearing Allah in all his dealings) are made difficult.
[ad-Daa’ wad-Dawaa’, The Sickness and its Cure, Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullah), pg. 87]

𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝘄𝗶𝗰𝗲
Allah promises us twice:
“For indeed, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲
Indeed 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲”
Not before it. Not after it. 𝗕𝗨𝗧 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗜𝗧.
Allah did not say it once…He said it twice. And SubhanAllah on top of that, 𝗛𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲
𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 “𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗮” 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 “𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗱”. Such a powerful and guaranteed reassurance from Allah….that no

With every hardship that comes, only later do we realize that it came to awaken the soul. It was never meant to destroy us but it was meant to build us and shape us.
We often say: “This too shall pass.”
But what we might not realize is that 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻
𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗴𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗲. And Allah SWT says the reason why we can not appreciate it because we don’t know what is actually happening or going to happen. So of course we are experiencing this particular moment, this particular episode of our life in this way...because we do not know any better.
But 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗔𝗹-‘𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗺, the One who knows all 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘂𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁!
So why focus only on the pain when 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘂𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝘀?
Allah promises us twice:
“For indeed, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲
Indeed 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲”

Allah did not say it once…He said it twice. And SubhanAllah on top of that, 𝗛𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲
𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 “𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗮” 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 “𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗱”. Such a powerful and guaranteed reassurance from Allah….that no
doubt, the 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗶𝘁𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳.

Yusuf waited in prison.
Yaqub waited with tearful eyes.
Ibrahim waited decades for a child.
Ayyub waited in pain.
Nuh waited a lifetime.
Musa waited in exile.
Their waiting wasn't wasted—it was worship.
Sabr wrapped in trust, hope, and obedience.
And when the wait ended,
Allaah rewarded them with more than they asked for.
