We are living in a time where we even have to remind ourselves that it is not permissible to watch Olympic sports because of the scantily dressed people (out of the many other reasons)!!!

***

This is because of many peoples dislike for the honorable status which Allaah تعالى gave them…

When Allaah provided the Jews with Manna and Salwa from the heavens, they opted for the things of this world like the cucumbers, lentils, onions etc. They exchanged that which was better to that which was lower.

***

Another way Allaah تعالى honored the children of Aadam and made them superior to the animals is my making them cover themselves up with clothes:

يَا بَنِي آدَمَ قَدْ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكُمْ لِبَاسًا يُوَارِي سَوْآتِكُمْ وَرِيشًا ۖ وَلِبَاسُ التَّقْوَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ

{O Children of Aadam! We have bestowed raiment upon you to cover yourselves (screen your private parts, etc.) and as an adornment, and the raiment of righteousness, that is better.}
󾔃 [Surah al-A`raaf (7): 26]

But now, it has become the trend that the more scantily dressed a person is, the more modern he/she is considered in the society. By this they want to come closer to the animals than to the honorable status which Allaah تعالى gave them.

***

Warning against pornography, homosexuality (LGBT), and divulging bedroom secrets:

In the Qur’aan, in Surah al-Noor, Allaah تعالى commanded both men and women to lower their gaze and cover themselves modestly…

󾁇󾁇󾁇

{Indeed, those who like that immorality should be spread [or publicized] among those who have believed will have a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter. And Allaah knows and you do not know.}
󾔃 [Surah al-Noor (24): 19]

󾁇󾁇󾁇

Narrated `Abdullaah Ibn Mas`ood رضي الله عنه: The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
❝A woman should not look at or touch another woman to describe her to her husband in such a way as if he was actually looking at her. ❞
󾔃 [Saheeh al-Bukhaaree]

󾁇󾁇󾁇

Abu Sa`eed Al-Khudree رضي الله عنه said: The Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: ❝A man must not look at (another) man's private parts nor must a woman look at (another) woman's private parts; neither should two men lie naked under one cover, nor should two women lie naked under the same cover.❞
󾔃 [Saheeh Muslim]

󾁇󾁇󾁇

Abu Sa`eed Al-Khudree رضي الله عنه said: The Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: ❝The most evil of the people in the sight of Allaah on the Day of Resurrection will be the man who consorts with his wife and then publicizes her secret.❞
󾔃[Saheeh Muslim]

󾁇󾁇󾁇

Abu Sa`eed Al-Khudree رضي الله عنه said: The Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: ❝The most important of the trusts in the sight of Allaah on the Day of Judgment is that a man goes to his wife and she goes to him (and the breach of this trust is) that he should divulge her secret.❞
󾔃 [Saheeh Muslim]
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

“The nations were shown to me and one or two Prophets would pass by me with a group (of followers), and a Prophet who had no one with him…”

Narrated by al-Bukhari (5705) and Muslim (220).
A Reminder to the Men and the woman

Muslim women should follow the example of the wives of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and the wives of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them). They should be keen on covering all their bodies in order to be far from the causes of temptation and to protect themselves against ill desires and whims. Muslim women should also avoid what was prohibited by Allah (Exalted be He) and His Messenger in terms of clothing that are similar to those worn by disbelievers and immoral women. They should do that out of obedience to Allah (Exalted be He) and His Messenger. Muslim women should seek Allah's reward and avoid His punishment through following His commands and avoiding His prohibitions. Every Muslim man should also fear Allah (Exalted be He) with regard to the women who are under his guardianship.

He should not permit them to wear clothes that were not permitted by Allah (Exalted be He) and His Messenger, such as the tight-fitting, transparent or attractive clothes. Every Muslim should know that he is a guardian and that he will be asked about this responsibility on the Day of Judgment. We ask Allah (Exalted be He) to set right the affairs of all Muslims and to guide them to the right path. He is All-Hearer, Responsive. All praise be to Allah alone and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger and upon his family and Companions.

and not to reveal their adornment except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husband’s fathers, or their sons, or their husband’s sons, or their brothers or their brother’s sons, or their sister’s sons, or their (Muslim) women (i.e. their sisters in Islâm) This is the text of the Qur'an and this is also what was denoted by the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him). Moreover, this is what was done by the wives of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and the wives of the Companions and those who followed them in righteousness until the present time. What a woman uncovers in front of the aforementioned people is what usually appears when she is at home doing her housekeeping duties. These include her hair, hands, neck and feet. There is no evidence in the Qur`an and Sunnah that permit her to uncover other parts of her body. Moreover, uncovering other parts, other than what is mentioned, leads to temptation and seduction among women. This is a well-known fact. Moreover, anyone who does so is a bad example for other women. It is also a kind of imitation of disbelieving and immoral women in their style of clothing. It was authentically reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "He who imitates any people becomes one of them." This Hadith was reported by Ahmad and Abu Dawud.

🌅 *We've reached another morning, so _who expects to live till the evening?_*

🀄The Muslim is like a stranger in this worldly life:

The stranger is one residing in a country other than his country. The worldly life is not the Muslim’s permanent place of residence; rather the Muslim’s permanent place of residence is Paradise.

He is in this worldly life in order work for entry into Paradise. He takes what is needed from this world in order to aid him to work for entry into Paradise.

🚙The Muslim is like a traveller in this worldly life:

The traveller takes rest during his journey and then carries on travelling. He does not reside permanently in that place he stopped to take a rest. In the life of this world the Muslim is that traveller. In reality he is not a permanent resident in the worldly life because his time in it is _very_ little. His nights and days take him towards the afterlife.

What is befitting the Muslim with regards to the days, nights, and his health etc!

☝🏼If you reach the morning do not delay good deeds till in the evening because it maybe that you will not reach the evening.
☝🏼If you reach the evening do not delay good deeds till the morning because it maybe that you will not reach the morning.

*Do not delay repentance and righteous deeds till another time.*

As long as a person is in a state of good health and wellbeing, he is able to perform Sawm, Tahajjud etc; but when he becomes sick he is not able to perform Sawm, Tahajjud etc. Therefore, as long as Allaah has given you good health, then _hasten_ towards righteous actions because a time will come in which you will be unable to perform them-either due to illness, old age, or senility.

... *Prepare for death and what is to come after it.*

Allaah gave you this life in order that you busy yourself with what will benefit you in the afterlife. So _do not spend your life in play and jest._

The Place of the Heart and the Tongue

It is reported that Al-Hasan Al-Basrî – Allâh have mercy on him – said:

The intelligent person’s tongue is behind his heart: when he wants to speak, he first thinks. If [his words] will be in his favor, he says them, and if they will be against him, he does not speak. And the ignorant person’s heart is behind his tongue: when he merely thinks of saying something, he says it, whether it is for or against him.

Allâh have mercy on him – that he said;

"Do not sit with the People of Desires (Bid’ah), for I fear that they will immerse you in their misguidance or mix up and confuse what you already know."

Shaytan’s Three Angles of Attack

#85 -Owais Al-Hashimi (hafidhahullaah)
Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawzīyah, Al-Fawā`id 1:277

Every intelligent person knows that Shaytān has no way to [attack] him except from three angles:

1. Extravagance. [A person] takes more than he needs, so it becomes superfluous; and [surplus] is the share of Shaytān and his point of entry to the heart. The way to avoid this is to avoid giving the self all it wants of food, sleep, pleasure and comfort. When you close this door, you will be safe from the enemy entering through it.

2. Heedlessness. One who remembers [Allāh] is in an impenetrable fortress. If he becomes forgetful and heedless, he opens the gates of the fortress, and the enemy enters, after which it is difficult to expel him.
3. Affectation of what does not concern oneself, or what one is not qualified to involve oneself in.
Beware of sadness (احذروا الحزن)

· Ibn Al Qayyim may Allah have mercy on him said the word (الحزن) – (sadness) does not appear in the Quran, but only in the form of forbidding it (ولا تهنو ولاتحزنوا) or in the form of negating it (فلاخوف عليهم ولا هم يحزنون).

And the reason for this is because there is no benefit for having sadness in the heart. The most beloved thing to the shaitan is to make the believing slave sad by taking him off track.

· The Prophet (ﷺ) sought refuge in Allah (swt) from sadness (اللهم إني أعوذ بك من الهم والحزن)

· Ibn Al Qayyim said: Sadness weakens the heart and diminishes determination and wanting to go forward. And there is nothing more beloved to the shaitan than sadness of a believer.

· For this reason, be happy, optimistic and think good about Allah (swt). Have trust in what Allah (swt) is able to do and depend on Him. You will find happiness and pleasure in all situations.

· Ibn Al Qayyim said: Don’t ruin your happiness with worry, and don’t ruin your mind with pessimism. Don’t ruin your success with deception and don’t ruin the optimism of others by destroying it. Don’t ruin your day by looking back at yesterday.

· If you think about your situation, you will find that Allah (swt) has given you things without asking, so have trust in Allah (swt) that He doesn’t prevent anything you want except there is goodness for you.

· You could be sleeping and the doors of the heavens are being opened with dua’as being made on your behalf, subhan Allah: perhaps from someone poor whom you helped, or someone sad whom you brought joy, or someone passing by and you smiled to him, or someone in distraught and you removed it.. so don’t ever underestimate any good deeds.

· One of the righteous predecessors said: I make dua’a to Allah (swt) for something I want, and if He gives it to me then I’m happy once and if He doesn’t give it to me then I’m happy ten times because the first was my choice and the second was Allah’s choice.

· As Sa’ady may Allah have mercy on him said: life is short so don’t shorten it with worries, grief, and sadness.

· So be the owner of a heart that breathes happiness and satisfaction.

· May Allah (swt) make your times happy and may Allah (swt) forgive us all. Ameen.

“A woman is like a diamond💎💎💎💎

the less people see her
The more her value increases

And everyone wants to have her

Because she is so precious, so rare and so dear
but the more she shows her charm to people with no Hayaa (shyness)
The more her value decreases
The more she becomes cheap to them

There is a Japanese proverb:”the shyness of a woman is more attractive than her beauty”
And there is an Arabic proverb:”the crown of kings is made of gold and the real crown of a girl is her politeness/shyness”
💐💐💐
And the best of all, in Islam Hayaa is the crown of a Muslimah’s good manners!”
Sheikh Rabee’ bin Haadee al-Madkhalee (hafidhahullah) said:

“How is that you can rest O’ advising believer and you see the people of innovation plotting and the people of tribulation (fitan) and corruption plotting against your sons and your brothers with respect to the ‘aqeedah (belief) and the manhaj (methodology)?!

How can you rest?!

By Allah, we do not rest. By Allah, sometimes we do not sleep out of sadness for our sons and out of fear for them from losing their (deen) religion and their dunyah (wordly life)…”

Repeating one of the Names of Allah specific number of times – Permanent Committee
Allah’s Name Al-Latif being repeated 129 times

Q: In some of the Masjids (mosques) here in the district of Bashshar, people repeat Al-Latif (i.e. The Kindest), one of Allah’s Most Beautiful Names, every Friday after finishing the study circle before the Adhan (call to Prayer) and the two sermons of Friday Salah. They repeat this Name 129 times. I asked the Imam about this practice and he told me that they do so for Allah to save them from His Wrath. What is your view and explanation of this practice?

A: Recitation of Allah’s Name (Al-Latif) 129 times before the Adhan of Friday Salah has nothing to do with the guidance of the Prophet (peace be upon him) nor his Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) nor the Salaf (righteous predecessors). In fact this is one of the Bid`ah (innovation in religion) introduced to religion. It is authentically reported from the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he said: He who innovates things in our affairs for which there is no valid (reason) (commits sin) and these are to be rejected [1]. i.e. Allah will not accept it from the person who does it. With regards to sitting in circles for lessons before the Adhan (call to Prayer) of the Friday Salah and the two sermons, it is forbidden according to the Hadith that is narrated by Al-Nasa’y from `Amr ibn Shu`ayb from his father from his grandfather: That the Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade sitting in study circles in mosques before the Jumu`ah (Friday) Prayer [2]

May Allah grant us success! May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions!

Staying Up Late is From the Calamities – Shaykh Abdur-Razzaaq al-Badr

The Noble Shaykh Abdur-Razzaaq al-Badr (may Allah preserve him) stated:

The matter of staying up late at night (especially in this time of ours) is considered to be from the magnificent calamities and the great tribulations. Also, it has for it many violations against many of the people. From the greatest of the violations that comes as a result of it in this time of ours is the wasting of Salaatul-Fajr (i.e. not praying it on time). By Allah, this is physical calamity. When a person sleeps past this magnificent obligation, he has committed a magnificent crime against his day. Shaykh al-Islaam Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy upon him) stated, “At the start of the day, the sun has the status of its youth. And at the last part of it, it has the status of it being in its older age and this is something that is known by way of experience.” Whoever grows up as a youth upon something, grows old upon it. Therefore, that which the person is at the beginning of the day, holds to be true about him for the rest of the day. If it is upon vigor, then the rest of the day will be vigorous. If it is upon laziness, then the rest of the day is upon laziness.
