Be careful who you hang with

Abu Musa reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said,

“Verily, the parable of a good friend and a bad friend is only that of a seller of musk and a blacksmith. The seller of musk will give you some perfume, you will buy some, or you will notice a good smell. As for the blacksmith, he will burn your clothes or you will notice a bad smell.”

Al-Layth ibn Sa'd (d. 175H) said,

"If I saw a person of desires (i.e. innovations) walking upon the water I would not accept from him."So Imaam ash-Shaafi'ee then said, "He (al-Layth) has fallen short. If I saw him walking in the air I would not accept from him."

Reported by as-Suyooti in Al-Amr bil 'lttibaa wan-Nahee 'anil-lbtidaa. Refer to Chapter Eight: On the Prohibition of Sitting with the People of Innovation, Listening to them, Arguing with them, To Abandon them and those who Associate with them.

The Mistake of Prostrating Before the Imaam
by The Albaani Blog
al-Imaam al-Muhaddith Muhammad Naasirud Deen al-Albaani

The Imaam said, “The brother here also reminded [us of] another calamity common amongst those who pray and which is in opposition to the Sunnah: Al-Baraa ibn ’Aazib, may Allaah be pleased with him, said that when we would pray behind the Prophet ﷺ we would not prostrate until we saw that the Prophet ﷺ had placed his forehead on the ground.

Nowadays after saying, ‘Sami’Allaahu liman hamidah, Rabbanaa wa lakal-Hamd,’ the Imaam will barely have said, ‘Allaahu Akbar,’ except that the people [behind him] will have fallen down into prostration with him—this is a mistake.

He would say, ‘Allaahu Akbar,’ and when he was seen to have finished going into prostration and had placed his forehead on the ground, it was then that the row behind him would start to go into prostration with him ﷺ.”

The Virtue of The early Morning and its Blessing

The Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: “O Allah, bless my people in their early mornings.” When he sent out a detachment or an army, he sent them at the beginning of the day. Sakhr was a merchant, and he would send off his merchandise at the beginning of the day; and he became rich and had much wealth. [Sunan Abu Dawud Hadith Number 2606. Declared authentic by Imaam Albaani (rahimahullaah) in his checking of Sunan abu Dawud]

Few Points of Benefit Related to the Above Hadeeth

This shows the importance of this time period and the greatness of the blessings and goodness with it…

*The Salaf used to dislike sleeping during this time, in order not to waste it in laziness and weakness…

*Ibnul Qayyim (rahimahullaah) said that the Salaf disliked sleeping between after Fajr prayer and Sunrise because it is a time in which great benefit is obtained. And even when they stayed up late at night (i.e. in worship), they still stayed up until after sunrise, for indeed it is the early part of the day and its beginning time, the time in which provision descends, the time in which one receives his portion of provision and the time in which blessings are obtained…. Anger is worst thing.💥

In Anger , we do such things which we will never do when we are normal.
e.g We harm someone in anger or we abuse someone or break relations or fight or harm ourself
but when we become normal we realise how big mistake we did but again we can not go into past to change it. so Always control your anger.

How to control anger.
when you are getting angry

It was narrated that Abu Dharr said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to us: “If one of you gets angry when he is standing, let him sit down, and if that does not take away his anger, then let him lie down.” Narrated by Abu Dawood, 4782; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood.

Reward for controlling Anger

Abu Darda reported: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, tell me about a deed that will admit me into Paradise.” The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “ *Do not be angry and you will enter Paradise*.”
[ Al-Muʻjam al-Awsaṭ 2411]
Classed Sahih (authentic) by Al-Albaani
BEFORE YOU LIE OR CHEAT OR STEAL OTHERS, THINK ABOUT IT.

On the authority of ‘Aeysha [رضي الله عنها] who said:

❝There was no behaviour more hated to the Messenger of Allaah [ﷺ] than lying. If he came across it from one of his Companions, then he would keep away from him until he knew that he had repented.❞

REPOSTING
"If a man's patience is stronger than his whims and desires, then he is like an angel, but if his whims and desires are stronger than his patience, then he is like a devil.

If his desire for food, drink and sex is stronger than his patience, then he is no better than an animal."

This world🌍 is more insignificant in the eye of Allah as dead lamb – Sahih Muslim

Sahih Muslim :Book 042, Number 705

Jabir b. Abdullah reported that Allah’s Apostle (Sallalaahu Alaihi wa Sallam) happened to walk through the bazar coming from the side of ‘Aliya and the people were on both his sides.

There he found a dead lamb with very short ears. He took hold of his ear and said:

Who amongst you would like to have this for a dirham?

They said: We do not like to have it even for less than that as it is of no use to us.

He said: Do you wish to have it (free of any cost)?

They said: By Allah, even if it were alive (we would not have liked to possess that), for there is detect in it as its ear is very short; now it is dead also.

Thereupon Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: By Allah, this world is more insignificant in the eye of Allah as it (this dead lamb) is in your eye.

Q: Is it permissible for the one residing in Europe to shorten his beard if his beard has caused him difficulty to find a job??

Sh. Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān replied: “HOLD ONTO THE SUNNAH wherever you are on the earth, do not look to please the people and complying with them, HOLD ONTO THE SUNNAH whether it relates to beard or other than that and do not forsake ANYTHING from the religion in order to please the people, this is al-Mudāhanah (flattery), which is FORBIDDEN (in religion), Yes.”

Question:

"Is photographing or video filming permissible? Is it permissible to watch television, especially for the news?"

Answer:

"It is not permissible to take photographs of animate beings using cameras or other means of photographing machines, or to keep pictures of animate beings, except for necessity, such as photographs used in identification documents or passports.

As far as television sets are concerned, the ruling does not relate to the machine itself as much as it relates to the purposes for which it is used. If it is used in Haram (prohibited) matters, such as showing erotic songs and nude scenes, distorting facts, promoting sensuality and the like, then it is Haram. On the other hand, if it is used to promote goodness, such as showing reciters of the Qur'an, clarifying the truth, propagating virtues and preventing vices, and the like, then it is permissible. It should be taken into consideration that if television is used for both purposes, or mostly used for unlawful purposes, then it is emphatically Haram.

May Allah grant us success! May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions!"

♻️The bad character of the Salafis turns me away from this Minhaj! Advice from Shaykh Ahmad Bazmool♻️

🔗🔘Question: Some of the people say: ‘I believe that Salafiyah is the truth, but the manners of the Salafis, chases me away from this Minhaj.🔘

💢Shaykh Ahmad Bazmool: Okay, the answer to this question is with a number of points:

📌The first point: Did you embrace Islam, and follow the Salafi Minhaj for the sake of the people or for the sake of Allah? (You did so) for the sake of Allah the Exalted. You followed His religion and you seek the reward from Him—the Glorified and Exalted. You are not seeking a reward from the people; if the people err then stay away from their errors. The believer who mixes with the people and is patient with their harms is better than the one who does not mix with the people. This is the first point.

📌The second point: If you find with your brothers mistakes, infractions, and bad manners, and they are Salafis; then you advise them and clarify to them and be diligent in guiding them.

📌The third point: By Allah, your Salafi brothers and their bad manners which you complain about; by Allah, they are better than the Hizbis whom you deem to have good manners.

📌The fourth point: The Salafi with his manners has a higher status than the Hizbi with good manners; because the Hizbi is lowly and debased due to his hizbiyah and his opposition to the truth.

📌The fifth point: We say to you my brother, Shaytan—when it comes to the Salafis—he is diligent upon trying to cause disorder and harm amongst them, and to corrupt their character, so don’t be a victim for Shaytan, allowing him to use you against your Salafi brothers. And also Shaytan is far away from these Hizbis because Shaytan does not go to a ruined house. As it was said by some of the Salafi—and I believe it was Al-Awzaai or other than him—he said: Ahlus Sunnah have with them some loneliness or alienation. Why? He said: Shaytan comes to them and he tries to mislead them, and he tries to turn the people away from them. As for the innovators; they have repose and serenity, such that Shaytan is able to trap the people with them. So beware, beware of being deceived by their calmness and good manners, such that you fall into their traps; for verily it is poisonous and it is destruction. Beware of fleeing from the truth due to some alienation of some bad interaction which you find from your brothers.
And furthermore; Allah forbid you should experience the likes of some of this, but if you are patient, seeking a reward from Allah, then your reward is with Allah. Therefore pay attention to these affairs; may Allah bless you.

Translated by Rasheed ibn Estes Barbee
Ibn Rajab:

“Some of the Salaf would ask Allāh for everything, even when they needed salt for dough and grass for the sheep.”
