THE EXCELLENCE OF MAKING RECONCILIATIONS
Aboo Dardaa' (radhiyal Laahu 'anh) relates: the Messenger of Allaah (sallal Laahu 'alayhi wasallam) said:
"Should I guide you to that which is more meritorious than fasting, Salaah and charity?"
The companions replied: 'Yes, O Messenger of Allaah'. He thus said:
"It is making reconciliations. Because when people differ, such differences scrapes... I do not say it scrapes the hair but rather, it scrapes the Deen."
-Saheeh Targheeb #2814.

Sh. Fawzaan hafidhahullah states:
With regards to those who fear Allah, he does not argue with differences of opinions. He argues with the evidence.
There are differences of opinions. Almost every Fiqh question has different opinions. Hence Allaah (djallâ wa ‘ala) commanded us to refer to the Qur’an and Sunnah:
فإن تنازعتم في شيء فردوه إلى الله والرسول إن كنتم تؤمنون بالله واليوم الآخر
"And if you get into a dispute about something, then entrust the decision to Allah and messenger, if ye believe in Allah and the Last Day." [4:59]
There are, as I said differences of opinions. However, it is not permissible for us to follow the opinions consistent with our lusts and desires and leave the proof just because it conflicts with our desires. It is not allowed. We are obliged to follow opinions consistent with the Qur’an and Sunnah when it comes to the veil and everything else.

The Best of Both Worlds
Abdullaah ibn Mas`ood radiallaahu `anhu relates that the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam would supplicate:
“O Allaah! I ask You for guidance, piety, safety and well-being, and contentment and sufficiency.” (Allaahummaa innee as’alukal-hudaa wat-tuqaa wal-`afaafa wal-ghinaa). [Related by Muslim, no 2721]
Imaam as-Sa`dee (d. 1376 AH) – rahimahullaah – said in [Bahjatul Quloobul-Abraar (p.198)]:
“This du`aa (supplication) is from the most comprehensive and beneficial du`aas (supplications), since it includes asking Allaah for well-being with regards to both the Religion and the world.
Thus, al-hudaa (the guidance) is beneficial knowledge, and at-tuqaa (i.e. taqwaa or piety) is righteous actions and leaving-off what Allaah and His Messenger have forbidden; and this is (asking) for correctness and well-being of a person’s Religion.
For indeed, the Religion comprises of beneficial knowledge and recognising the truth – which is guidance – and standing firm upon obedience to Allaah and His Messenger sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam – and this is piety.
And al-`afaafa (well-being and safety) and al-ghinaa (contentment and sufficiency) comprises of being safe from (the harms of) the creation and that the heart is not attached to them.
And it also comprises of being content with Allaah and what He provides, and seeking whatever will cause the heart to be satisfied with Him. So with this, happiness in this worldly life is completed, and the heart tastes true sweetness and delight – and this is a goodly life.
So whosoever is granted the provision of guidance, piety, well-being and contentment has indeed achieved true happiness, and has acquired all that could be possibly sought after, as well as being saved from all that is dreadful and frightening.”

Punishment or Trial. ⁉️
Ibn ul Qayyim said, “If Allah puts someone under a trial and he recognises it, he must resort to Allah and this is a good sign and the trial turns into purification and mercy but if he rejects it, complains and turns away and resorts to humans, then this is bad for him and this trial turns into a punishment.” (Tareequl Hijratayn, #103, pg. 25)

SOME OF THE FRUITS OF TAQWA AND GOOD MANNERS!
Imaam Ibnul Qayyim (rahimahullaah) said:
The Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) gathered between fear of Allaah and good manners because fear of Allaah rectifies the (relationship) between a slave and his Lord, and good manners rectifies the (relationship) between a person and Allaah’s creatures. Fear of Allaah makes a person deserving of Allaah’s love and good manners brings about the love of the people for him.

THE PEOPLE OF THE HEREAFTER ARE THREE: WHO ARE THEY?
In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful The Bestower of Mercy
Imaam Ibnul Qayyim (rahimahullaah) said that Bishr Bin Haarith (rahimahullaah) said: The people of the hereafter are three: The Aabid, the Zaahid and the Siddeeq.
The Aabid worships Allaah (i.e. with love, fear and hope) whilst being attached to searching for (permissible) provision. The Zaahid worships Allaah (i.e. with love, fear and hope) whilst keeping away from attachment to the (unnecessary) worldly things. The Siddeeq worships Allaah (i.e. with love, fear and hope) together with pleasure and conformity. He takes from the (permissible) worldly things when he sees it fit to (do so) and abandons it when he sees it fit (to do so). [Slightly paraphrased. Al-Fawaa-id: page: 175]
Who is an Aabid? [A devout worshipper]
Who is a Zaahid? [He is one who abandons those permissible things he is not in need of, which also are not of any benefit to him in the afterlife. (See Madaarij As-Saalikeen). Sufyaan Ath-thawree said that the Zaahid is not the one who eats stringy food or wears woollen clothes, rather he is one who neither rejoices in some worldly gain nor becomes sad when he fails to get something.]
Who is a Siddeeq: [Shaikh Saaleh al Fawzaan says: The Siddeeq is the one who is (known) for much truthfulness and is extremely truthful. [Al-Haa-iyyah: page:117]

What Is Salafiyyah?
Question:
What is As-Salafiyyah and what is your opinion regarding it?
Answer:
All praise is due to Allaah alone, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger, his family and his Companions.
To proceed:
"As-Salafiyyah" is an attachment or affiliation to the 'Salaf'. And "The Salaf" are the Companions of the Messenger of Allaah (salallaahu 'alaihi wassallam) and the Imaams of guidance (may Allaah be pleased with them) from the first three generations, those whose goodness Allaah's Messenger (salallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) bore witness to in his statement:
"The best of mankind is my generation, then those who follow them, then those who follow them. Then there will come people where bearing witness of one of them will precede his taking an oath and his taking an oath will be his bearing witness."
[Reported by Imaam Ahmad ibn Hanbal in the 'Musnad', 'Al-Bukhaaree', and Muslim]*
And "The Salafiyyoon [or Salafees]" is the plural of "Salafi", an attachment or affiliation to the Salaf, and its meaning has already preceded above - and they are those who traverse upon the Methodology (Manhaj) of the Salaf in following the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah [of the Messenger of Allaah], and inviting to them, and acting upon them, and they are, due to this, Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamaa'ah.

🎀It is not Permissible to congratulate on the occasion of New Hijri Year🎀
💢QUESTION ⁉: Is it permissible to congratulate non-Muslims on the occasion of the new Gregorian year, the new Hijri (lunar) year, and the Mawlid (the Prophet’s birthday)?
ANSWER ✅
It is not permissible to offer congratulations on such occasions, because it is not Mashru‘ (Islamically lawful) to celebrate them.
May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
