The tongue is an indication for the condition of one's heart.
Yahya Ibn Mu'aadh said,
"The hearts are like pots. They boil with that which they contain and their tongues are their ladles [i.e. scooping spoons]. So look at a man when he speaks.
His tongue will scoop out for you that which is contained in his heart, whether it is sweet or bitter, fresh or salty and other than that. And the flavor of his heart will become clear to you from that which his tongue scoops out."

HADEETH: THE WORLDLY LIFE IS FOR FOUR TYPES OF PEOPLE
Narrated Abu Kabshah Al-An’maariy (radiyallaahu-anhu) that Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: “I swear by Allah regarding three (affairs) which I am going to tell, so remember them. The wealth of a man does not decrease due to (giving) charity; a slave does not exercise patience when oppressed, except that Allah increases his honour; a slave does not open the door of begging, except that Allaah opens for him the door of poverty (or he stated a statement similar to it).”
I am going to tell you (something), so remember it: The worldly life is for four types of people.
[A] A slave whom Allaah has given wealth and knowledge, so he fears his Lord by way of it. He preserves the ties of kinship and acknowledges Allaah’s Rights regarding it. This (type of person) is on the most virtuous position.
[B] A slave whom Allaah has given knowledge but not wealth. He is truthful in his intention and says:
Shaikh Ubaid (may Allaah preserve him) stated:
The first is a wealthy person who is thankful (to Allaah); so Allaah will raise him to the most virtuous position due to his deed.
The second is a poor person who exercises patience. He is truthful in his intention with regards to spending from that which Allaah has bestowed on him. So Allaah makes him reach the most virtuous position due to his truthful intention.
The third is a boastful wealthy person. He is covetous and stingy; so his deed takes him to the most evil position.
The fourth is a boastful poor person and his intention is evil. So together with his poverty, his intention takes him to the most evil position.
So based on this, we know that by way of truthful intentions Allaah raises the person. And an evil intention debases a person until he finds him/herself in the most evil position. [2]

If I had wealth, I would have done the deed of such and such (person).’’ So because of this intention of his, his reward is the same (i.e. the righteous one who has been given wealth and knowledge).
[C] A slave whom Allaah has given wealth but not knowledge. He wastes his wealth out of ignorance. He neither fears Allaah nor does he keep the ties of kinship, nor does he acknowledge Allaah’s rights. This (type of person) is at the evilest position.
[D] A slave whom Allaah has neither given wealth nor knowledge and he says: If I had wealth, I would have done the deed of such and such (person).’’ So by way of his intention, they are similar (i.e. similar to the evil person who wastes his wealth). Forgotten Sunnah alert: raising the eyes to the sky when leaving the home!
Narrated Umm Salamah, Ummul Mu'minin:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) never went out of my house without raising his eye to the sky and saying:
"O Allah! I seek refuge in Thee lest I stray or be led astray, or slip or made to slip, or cause injustice, or suffer injustice, or do wrong, or have wrong done to me."
(Abu Dawud and graded Sahih by al-Albany)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is About Prophecy
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira RA that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) observed: Be prompt in doing good deeds (before you are overtaken) by turbulence which would be like a part of the dark night. During (that stormy period) a man would be a Muslim in the morning and an unbeliever in the evening or he would be a believer in the evening and an unbeliever in the morning, and would sell his faith for worldly goods.

⚠️ The Devils from amongst Mankind ⚠️
Shaykh Ibn al-'Uthaymeen was asked how can one recognise the devils from amongst mankind?? He Raḥimahullāh, replied beautifully and said:
“Whoever calls you towards evil and shamelessness then he is the DEVIL (from amongst mankind).”

before seeking to sit in a gathering, have you asked yourself:
- Is this person known to the scholars or their students?
- Does he have tazkiyāt of any sort?
- Who are his companions (from whom does he sit with)?
- Does he frequent the gatherings of Ahl al-Sunnah, their masājid, seminars, lectures etc.?
- What do the people of Sunnah and Salafīyyah in his area say about him?
- Does he cooperate with Ahl al-Bidʿah,, their masājid and programmes (is he here, there and everywhere)?
Do you put up these roadblocks in your mind before setting out to seek knowledge with a man?
Seeing that it is from the most important affairs you could ever set out upon...your salvation, your ʿaqīdah, your path towards Paradise in shāʾ Allāh

IBLIS
Iblis makes those seeking righteousness feel lazy, and he causes those who are serious to procrastinate. He convinces a jurist to rest instead of going over his lesson again. And convinces a worshipper who had woken up to pray at night that he still has a lot of time. Iblis tries to make people lazy procrastinators, and to make them have hope (of a long life). A disciplined person must take advantage of time, and never procrastinate. That which is feared can never be trusted, and that which passes can never be brought back again. The main reason for doing less good and more evil is relying on the hope of a long life, this is because a person continues to procrastinate performing good deeds and refraining from evil deeds.

Ibn al-Qayyim said:
“Allah sometimes gives the earth permission to

When there had been an earthquake, some of

‘Umar Ibn al-Khattaab addressed the people
and said:
If there is another earthquake, I will not stay
