Calling to Nationalism is a Call to Ignorance
Question:
What is your opinion regarding the call to nationalism which says that belonging to a race or language is more important than religion? These groups claim that they are not against religion, but that they consider nationalism to be more important. What is your opinion on this claim?
Answer:
This call is ignorance and it is not to ascribe oneself to it, nor to encourage those who call to it. Indeed, it is obligatory to destroy it, because Islamic law orders us to combat it and drive it out, to refute their analogies and claims with answers which make the truth clear to those who seek it. For it is Islam alone that keeps alive the Arab character, language, culture and morality. To snub this religion is, in reality, to destroy the Arab character in its language, culture and morality. Therefore, it is incumbent upon the (Muslim) preachers to strive hard to spread the call of Islam, in order to defeat those who attempt to suppress it. It is well known that Islam necessitates the view that calling to Arab nationalism or any other kind of nationalism is a false message and a great error, and it is a clear abomination, loathsome ignorance, and a plot against Islam and its people. This is for many reasons explained in a book which I have called: A Critique of Arab Nationalism in the Light of Islam and Factual Evidence. I ask Allaah that He grant success to all in (following) that which pleases Him.

*what is the evidence on celebrating birthdays,is it allowed in islam?*
The evidence in the Qur’aan and Sunnah indicates that celebrating birthdays is a kind of bid’ah or innovation in religion, which has no basis in the pure sharee’ah. It is not permitted to accept invitations to birthday celebrations, because this involves supporting and encouraging bid’ah.
Allaah, may He be glorified and exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Or have they partners with Allaah (false gods) who have instituted for them a religion which Allaah has not allowed…?” [al-Shoora 42:21]
“Then We have put you (O Muhammad) on a plain way of (Our) commandment. So follow that, and follow not the desires of those who know not. Verily, they can avail you nothing against Allaah (if He wants to puish you). Verily, the zaalimoon (wrongdoers) are awliyaa’ (protectors, helpers, etc.) to one another, but Allaah is the Wali (Protector, Helper) of the muttaqoon (pious).” [al-Jaathiyah 45:18-19]
“Follow what has been sent down unto you from your Lord, and follow not any awliyaa’ (protectors, helpers, etc.) besides Him. Little do you remember!” [al-A’raaf 7:3]
According to saheeh reports,
the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever does something that is a not part of this matter of ours (i.e., Islam) will have it rejected” (reported by Muslim in his
Saheeh ); and “The best of speech is the Book of Allaah and the best of guidance is the guidance of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). The most evil of things are those which have been newly invented (in religion), and every innovation is a going astray.” There are many other ahaadeeth that convey the same meaning.
Besides being bid’ah and having no basis in sharee’ah, these birthday celebrations also involve imitation of the Jews and Christians in their birthday celebrations.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, warning us against following their ways and traditions: “You would follow the ways of those who came before you step by step, to such an extent that if they were to enter a lizard’s hole, you would enter it too.” They said, “O Messenger of Allaah, (do you mean) the Jews and Christians?” He said, “Who else?” (Reported by al-Bukhaari and Muslim).
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) also said: *“Whoever imitates a people is one of them.”*

A Real Eye-Opener: Upset with the Qadr of Allaah !?...
In the Name of Allaah…
Most people entertain bad thoughts about Allaah regarding their own personal situations and the situations of others. The only ones who remain safe from this are those who truly know Allaah, His Names, His Attributes, and what His Wisdom and Right to be praised really entails.
So let every sincere, sound-minded individual focus on himself regarding this, and then repent to Allaah and seek His Forgiveness from the negative notions he entertains about his Lord.
Look closely at anyone! You will find that people become upset with Qadr and blame things on it, saying that, “It should have been this way or that way…”
Some people behave this way only rarely, others more commonly!
Inspect yourself – Are you innocent!?
If you are saved from it, you are safe from something terrible…
But really, I doubt you are even safe!
- Ibn al-Qayyim
This is a passage from the great writings of al-‘Allaamah Ibn Qayyim al-Jowziyyah, as quoted in the book, Kitaab at-Towheed, by Shaykh Muhammad ibn ‘Abdil-Wahhaab.
This passage was an explanation of some Qur’aanic verses exposing the notions and ill assumptions of the hypocrites after the defeat suffered at the Battle of Uhud. It is absolutely amazing how this great scholar tied the filthy beliefs of the hypocrites to our own hearts and actions, and guided us to take a an important personal lesson from the hidden enemies of Islaam and their false notions about the Wisdom of Allaah and His Qadr.
From the attributes of the hypocrites is that they do not submit to the Qadr of Allaah, instead they find fault with it, and claim that things would have been better had they been in charge of the affair!
Review Soorah Aal ‘Imraan (3:154).
Ibn al-Qayyim said, “Inspect yourself – Are you innocent?!”
I remind myself and my brothers and sisters in Islaam to sincerely think about the following statements and ponder over how distant we are from them in reality:
• “That’s just great! This is why I hate Mondays!”
• “What is wrong with this laptop? Another virus!! And of course this would happen NOW, when I have all this important work to finish!!”
• “The car seems to break down every time I’m running late!”
• “My stupid cellphone keeps shutting down…!”
• “Oh great! One more red light! As if I’m not late enough!”
• “I stoved my toe on that stupid table!”
These small everyday trials we face and the emotions we react with are all part of our personal test. Our reactions, beliefs, and statements are all being recorded!
With the above mentioned complaints and reactions, who are we actually displeased with? We know that the table didn’t do anything to our toe, right? We know that cars, cellphones, and laptops don’t actually choose to do things to harm us in reality, right?
So then, again – WHO or WHAT are we really displeased with when uttering these kinds of statements?
We desperately need our spouses, friends, and companions to remind us, quite simply, with the following question:
Are you unhappy with the Qadr of Allaah?
Let us replace the bad reactions mentioned with the very best guidance available, the guidance of the Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam):
وإن أصابك شيء فلا تقل لو أني فعلت كذا لكان كذا وكذا لكن قل قدر الله وما شاء فعل…
“…And if something (bad) befalls you, do not say, ‘Had I only done such-and-such, then such-and-such would have happened, rather say: Qadrullaahi, wa maa shaa’ fa’ala (This is from the Qadr of Allaah, and He does whatever He wills).” [Muslim]
Let us affirm everything we face as the Qadr of Allaah, submit to Allaah being pleased with the trial He (and no one else) has chosen for us, and be afraid of a bad reaction that would be written against us and handed to us on the Day of Account.
And Allaah knows best.

💐 *Umar on interacting with others [trust, consultation and friendship]*
It is reported that ‘Umar b. Al-Khattâb – Allâh be pleased with him – said:
🔘Whoever exposes himself to suspicion, let him blame only himself for whoever suspects him.
🔘He who covers his secret is in a position to choose [to correct himself].
🔘Assume the best about your brother until what comes to you from him overcomes you [and you have to change your opinion].
🔘You can never pay back someone who disobeys Allâh in his dealings with you with anything better than obeying Allâh in your dealings with him.
🔘Take righteous brothers [as friends]; acquire them in plenty, for they are a beautification in prosperity and an aid during calamity.
🔘Do not ask about what has not yet happened until it actually happens, for what has happened is enough of an occupation to worry about what has not happened.
🔘Let not your speech be given freely except to those who want to hear it and will value it.
🔘Do not seek help in fulfilling a need you have except from someone who wants success for you in that endeavor.

GENERAL REMINDER:::::::
THE OFFICE CRUSH
One of the greatest tests of imaan for the 21st century muslim men is the one they face at work. First, you have to search for a job that will not take away your religious values; where you can take regular breaks to observe dhur and asr without being marked awol, where you can keep your beard and nisfusaq without being labeled ISIS...
Then, there's the worst part: working with scantily dressed, heavily made-up and intensely perfumed female colleagues who daily, flaunt themselves at you and other male coworkers. Allah help you if you happen to be a tall and handsome alfa with pink lips and a dandy sense of fashion. Those witches will not let you rest until you, at least smile back at them or laugh at their cheap jokes.
Who am I to tell you to quit that job? Not even in this recession. I only have one advice for you, yah Akhee: fear Allaah! Minimize jokes and unnecessary interactions with ladies in the office. Keep it formal. Sexual harassment within the office is real, and ladies are not always the victims; they could indeed, be the culprits.
It was narrated by Anas ibn Malik that he heard the Messenger of Allah (saw)say: ‘The eye commits ‘zina’, and the palm of the hand, the foot, the body, the tongue and private part confirms it or denies it.’
Once again, brother, fear Allaah!

Women Punished in Hell -
1. Women who will be dressed but appear to be naked
2. Inviting to evil
3. They would be inclined (to evil) and make their husbands incline towards it.
4. Their heads would be like the humps of the bukht camel inclined to one side.
They will not enter Paradise and they would not smell its odour whereas its odour would be smelt from such and such (a far) distance.
How many of our Muslim sisters are active online adorning themselves with different types of clothing and makeup, taking photographs of themselves and spreading the indecent images for millions to see, exposing themselves, dressed but appear to be naked. They don't stop with themselves, they call women to their evil way making videos on how follow them in their 'style'. Their husbands are among the worst of men on this earth, heartless blind corpses. Repent before death.
It is upon the fathers, brothers.. (men of the family) etc to prevent this because a Dayooth will not enter Jannah.

From The Sayings Of The Salaf About Truthfulness And Sincerity...
1- The slave of Allaah cannot actualize ‘You are the One that we worship’ except with two principles: one of them is following the Messenger and the second is having sincerity (Ikhlaas) for the one worshipped.
Ibn al-Qayyim – ‘Tahdeeb al-Madrij’ 68
2- Sincerity for Allaah is that a person’s intent is for Allaah and intends everything for Him, causing fountains of wisdom to spring up from his heart on to his tongue.
Ibn Taymeeyah – ‘an-Naboowaat’ 147
3- Whenever the sincerity of the slave of Allaah strengthens, his worship becomes more complete.
Ibn Taymeeyah – ‘al-Fatawa’ 10/198
4- In relation to the amount of Tawheed a slave has for his Lord, and his sincerity for the religion for Allaah is the amount he is deserving of the generosity of Allaah upon him, from intercession and other things.
Ibn Taymeeyah – ‘As-Sarim al-Monkey’ 390
5- A person does not show his actions to the creation, except due to his ignorance of the Greatness of the Creator.
Ibn Rajab – ‘Kalimat ul-Ikhlaas’ 31
6- Ikhlaas cannot be achieved except after having Zuhud, and there is no Zuhud except after having Taqwa, and Taqwa is following the commands (of Allaah and His Messenger) and keeping away from prohibitions.
Ibn Taymeeyah – ‘al-Fatawa’ 1/94
7- Strive today in implementing Tawheed, since there is nothing that will deliver you to Allaah except Tawheed. Also, be eager in fulfilling its rights, since there is nothing that can save you from the fire except Tawheed.
Ibn Rajab – ‘Kalimat ul-Ikhlaas’ 54
8- Whoever is sincere in regards to the actions of the Deen, which he does for Allaah, then he is from the pious Awliyah of Allaah.
Ibn Taymeeyah – ‘al-Fatawa’ 1/8
9- If you correct your hidden deeds subsequently Allaah will correct your outward deeds.

Benefit: The Woman’s Voice Is a Source of Fitnah...
In the Name of Allāh, the Ever Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy
Shaykh Muqbil ibn Hādī al-Wādiʿī (رحمه الله) said:
“It is necessary that the woman speaks only when it is required of her because her voice may be a source of fitnah for a man, and Allāh’s aid is sought. We do not say, ‘The woman’s voice is a part of her ‘awrah’; however, it is a source of fitnah.”

When in fear of afflicting something or someone with one's eye.....
If you see anything of your brother that pleases you, or of his person or of his property (then ask Allah to bless him in it) for the envious eye is real.
Say
للَّهُمَّ بَارِك عَلَيه
Allahumma barik 'alayhi.
Ref:Ahmad 4/447, Ibn Majah, Malik.
