~Sunnah: TO KEEP A FEELING OF MODESTY~

It is that he has hayaa‘ (modesty and shame) at all times, as he – ’alayhis-salaam – said, ‘‘Faith (eemaan) has sixty or seventy odd branches, the most excellent of them is witnessing that none has the right to be worshipped besides Allaah, and the lowest branch is removing something harmful from the road, and hayaa‘ is from eemaan.’’ [9] He – ’alayhis-salaam – also said, ‘‘Hayaa‘ is from eemaan, and eemaan is from Paradise. Speaking obscenely is from coarseness and coarseness is from the Fire.’’ [10]

Narrated by Anas ibn Malik (R.A) said:
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘There will come a time when people will sit in circles in the mosques and they will have no concern except this world. Allaah has no need of them so do not sit with them.’”

This is a saheeh hadeeth even though al-Bukhaari and Muslim did not narrate it. Al-Dhahabi said in al-Talkhees that it is saheeh.”

Allaah Will Surely Tear Open The Sky Until He Looks At The Person From Amongst The People Of The Earth Who Said It!

The Prophet [ﷺ] said:

❝Whoever says, ‘Laa illaaha ilallaahu Wahdahu La Shareekalahu Lahul Mulku Wa Lahul Hamdu Wa Huwa ‘Ala Kulli Shay’`In Qadeer’ with a sincere heart, attesting to the truth of that with his tongue, then Allaah will surely tear open the sky until He looks at the person from amongst the people of the earth who said it. And the right of the servant whom Allaah looks at is that He grants him whatever he asked for.❞

Upon the authority of Abu Huraira [رضي الله عنه] who said that the messenger [ﷺ] who said:

❝No servant says Laa ilaha illallah sincerely, except that the heavens open up for it and it ascends until it reaches the throne, providing one stays away from the major sins.❞

Reminder From The Salaf - Treating Animals Properly
Benefit: Where Is the Best Place for a Woman to Seek Knowledge?

In the Name of Allāh, the Ever Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy

Shaykh Muqbil ibn Hādī al-Wādiʿī(رحمه الله) was asked: “Is the woman who never leaves her house, not even to go to the masjid, better than the woman who seeks knowledge and goes to the masjid?”

The shaykh (رحمه الله) stated: “A woman should remain in her house and seek knowledge since the Prophet (ﷺ) said: ‘Do not prevent the female slaves of Allāh from going to the masājid of Allāh; however, their houses are better for them.’”

Sell your worldly life for your Hereafter and you will profit in them both together, and do not sell your Hereafter for your worldly life or you will lose them both together.”

_“I asked my grandmother Asmaa, ‘How were the Companions of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم when they recited the Quraan?‘ She replied, ‘Their eyes watered and their skins trembled just as Allaah has described them [in the Quraan]."_

Beautiful Hadith about The Nobel Qura'an :)
Narrated Anas ibn Malik:
The Prophet Muhammad (sallallaho alayhi wasallum) said:
"A believer who recites the Qura'an is like a citron whose fragrance is sweet and whose taste is sweet, a believer who does not recite the Qura'an is like a date which has no fragrance but has sweet taste, a profligate who recites the Qura'an is like basil whose fragrance is sweet but whose taste is bitter, and the profligate who does not recite the Qura'an is like the colocynth which has a bitter taste and has not fragrance. A good companion is like a man who has musk; if nothing of it goes to you, its fragrance will (certainly) go to you; and a bad companion is like a man who has bellows; if its (black) root does not go to you, its smoke will (certainly) go to you."
-- (Sunan Abi Dawud, Book 43, Hadith 57)
Shaykh Al-Albaani said,

"Knowledge is the vehicle for action and when a person learns and his knowledge is absolutely clear and then he does not act upon it, then it is extremely obvious that this knowledge will not bear any fruits. Thus it is necessary that the action be linked with this knowledge."

The Shayaateen are locked up, but not their soldiers:

QUESTION:

What is your advice to the Muslims as the month of Ramadhaan is approaching?

Shaikh al-Fawzaan حفظه الله answered:

“It is necessary that a Muslim should ask Allaah that He تعالى makes him reach (the month of) Ramadhaan and that He عالى helps him in Fasting and observing prayers, and in doing (other) good deeds in it, because this is an opportunity in a lifetime of a Muslim:

“Whoever observes fasts during the month of Ramadhaan out of sincere faith, and hoping to attain Allaah’s rewards then all his past sins will be forgiven.”

“Whoever establishes prayers during the nights of Ramadhaan faithfully out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allaah’s rewards (not for showing off), all his past sins will be forgiven.”

This is an opportunity in the lifetime of a Muslim; perhaps it may not come to him again.

The Muslim should be happy when the month of Ramadhaan approaches and should be glad about it and should receive it joyously and delightedly and should spend it in obedience to Allaah. Its night (should be spend) standing in prayers, its days in fasting, reciting the Qur’aan and in (Allaah’s) remembrance – this is beneficial for the Muslim.

But then there are those who when Ramadhaan approaches, go back to (watching) bad and distracting programs, TV series, deceiving (shows based on lies, falsehood and superstition) and competitions and game shows which preoccupy the Muslims (and divert them from the obedience of Allaah). They (who participate in making these shows) are all Shaitaan’s soldiers. Shaitaan recruited them for this.

So upon a Muslim is to beware of all these (programs) and beware of them (the people). Ramadhaan is not a time for engaging in amusement and play and watching series and game shows and wasting time.”

Allah will then cause them to become better, regardless of whether they want to or not."

Shaykh Al-Albānee رحمه الله said:

FEELING DOWN? SAD ALL THE TIME? SHEIKH IBN 'UTHAYMEEN(RAHIMAHHULLAH) EXPLAINS THE SOLUTION!

“Indeed the Legislation orders us to keep away from everything which causes regret … Allaah سبحانه said:

“Secret counsels (conspiracies) are only from Satan, in order that he may cause grief to the believers. But he cannot harm them in the least, except as Allah permits.” [Mujaadilah 58:10]

And Allaah تعالى only told us this so that we keep away from it, it was not merely a piece of information telling us that the Devil wants to cause us grief, no, what is meant is that we keep away from everything which causes grief. And for this reason the Prophet ﷺ said, “When there are three people, two should not converse together to the exclusion of the third.” [Agreed upon]

So everything which brings about sadness in a person is forbidden …

The Prophet ﷺ ordered a person who saw a dream that he disliked to dry-spit to his left three times and seek Allaah’s Refuge from its evil and the evil of the Devil and to then turn to the other side [to sleep on] and not to tell anyone about it and to perform ablution and pray—all of this so that a person can drive away all of these things [grief etc.] …

And that is why the Companions said that we used to see dreams and become ill because of them, but when the Prophet of Allaah ﷺ told us this hadith … i.e., they relaxed and no worry remained.

So the Legislator wants us to avoid everything which brings about worry, grief, and sadness, and for this reason Allaah تعالى said:

“So whosoever intends to perform Hajj therein then he should not have sexual relations (with his wife), nor commit sin, nor dispute unjustly during the Hajj.” [Baqarah 2:197]

Because disputes make a person defend himself and his thoughts change for the sake of the argumentation, and he will became worried and it will distract him from worship.

The point is always keep in mind the fact that Allaah عزوجل wants you to be happy all the time, far from grief.

And in reality a person has three situations: a past situation, a present and a future one. A person forgets the past and the worry that it had because it and what it contained is over, if it was a calamity, then say:

اللهُمَّ أْجُرْنِي فِي مُصِيبَتِي، وَأَخْلِفْ لِي خَيْرًا مِنْهَا

“O Allaah, reward me for my affliction and give me something better than it in exchange for it,” [Muslim] and forget about it.

And for this reason He forbade wailing over the dead, why? Because it renews the grief and reminds one of it.

As for the future, its knowledge is with Allaah عزوجل, rely on Allaah and when issues come to you then seek their solution, but those things which the Legislator has ordered you to prepare for then prepare for them.

It is the present time which it is possible for you to deal with, try to keep away from everything that causes worry, grief and sadness so that you can always be relaxed and have an open breast, dedicating yourself to Allaah and worshipping Him and [dedicating yourself] to your worldly affairs and those connected to the Hereafter.

When you try this, you will relax.

As for tiring yourself over what has passed or worrying about the future in a manner the legislation has not allowed, then know that [if you do so] you will become exhausted and lose out on much good.”
