🔴 If we have not benefited from our previous Ramadhaan - from our Siyaam and our Qiyaam - then know that it was due of the lack of sincerity and Khushoo
He صلى الله عليه وسلم also said:
أوَّلُ ما يُرْفَعُ مِنَ الناسِ الخشوعُ
“The first thing to be raised from the people is Khushoo
Abu Dardaa’ رضي الله عنه said to one of the companions:
إِنْ شئتَ لأُحَدِّثَنَّكَ بأوِّلِ علْمٍ يُرْفَعُ منَ الناسِ الخشوعُ يوشِكُ أنْ تدخُلَ مسجِدَ جماعَةٍ فلا تَرَى فيه رجلًا خاشِعًا
“If you wish I will tell you what the first type of knowledge taken from the people will be - it is al-Khushoo
(awe, fear of Allaah)
🔴 Make the most of this month by developing Khushoo and making it an integral part of your Ibaadah.
🔴 Know that sinning is what diminishes the Khushoo in the heart.🔴 If we have not benefited from our previous Ramadhaan - from our Siyaam and our Qiyaam - then know that it was due of the lack of sincerity and Khushoo
among us, except for those whom Allaah تعالى protected.
The Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
أول شيء يرفع من هذه الأمة الخشوع حتى لا ترى فيها خاشعا

Imam Muslim narrates the famous hadeeth in his Saheeh [#55] that:
عَنْ تَمِيمٍ الدَّارِيِّ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ” الدِّينُ النَّصِيحَةُ ” قُلْنَا لِمَنْ قَالَ ” لِلَّهِ وَلِكِتَابِهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ وَلأَئِمَّةِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَعَامَّتِهِمْ ”
Tameem al-Dari said that Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “The religion is Naseehah [sincerity].”
So we said, “To whom?”
He replied, “To Allah, and to His Book, and to His Messenger, and to the leaders of the Muslims, and to the common Muslims.”
In his explanation of al-Nawawi’s collection of Forty Hadeeth, sheikh Saalih al-Fawzan explained Naseehah to Allah’s Book as follows:
قال : {ولكتابه} النصيحة لكتاب الله – وهو القرآن – أن تؤمن به وتعتقد أنه كلام الله وأنه منزل غير مخلوق ، وأنه كلام الله حقيقة ، أنزله على رسوله ﷺ ، ثم تكثر من تلاوته ، وتتدبره ، وتتأمل معانيه ، وتطلب تفسيره ، ثم تعمل به ، وتخلص العمل لله عز وجل ، هذه النصيحة لكتاب الله عز وجل : أولا : أن تعتقد أنه كلام الله حقيقة . ثانيا : أن تتعلمه . ثالثا : أن تكثر من تلاوته . رابعا : أن تتدبره ، فلا يكفي أن تقرأه دون معرفة معانيه وتفسيره . خامسا : أن تعمل به . ذلك لأن العلم من غير عمل لا يفيدك شيئا ، ولو كنت من أكثر الناس حفظا للقرآن ، وأكثر الناس تلاوته للقرآن ، ما دام أنك لا تعمل به ، فليست ناصحا لكتاب الله عز وجل ، بل تكون غاشا لكتاب الله عز وجل . ـ
Allah’s Messenger said, “and to His Book“.
And Naseehah to the Book of Allah – which is the Qur’an – is to believe in it and to have firm belief that it is the Speech of Allah and that it was revealed, not created. And to believe that it is really the Speech of Allah revealed to His Messenger (ﷺ). And then, you frequently engage in reciting it, in reflecting on it, in pondering over its meanings and seeking out its explanations. And then you proceed to act in accordance with it and to make your actions purely for the sake of Allah. This is naseehah to the Book of Allah:
1. That you believe that it is truly the speech of Allah.
2. That you learn it.
3. That you frequently read it.
4. That you contemplate over it, for it is not sufficient for you to merely recite it without knowing its meanings and explanations.
5. That you act in accordance with it.
This is because knowledge without action does not benefit you at all. Even if you were the most accomplished of people in terms of memorizing the Qur’an and the most prolific of people in terms of reciting the Qur’an – so long as you do not act in accordance with it you are not one who is sincere to the Book of Allah. In fact, you would be one who betrays the Book of Allah.

Shaykh 'Abdul-'Azīz Ibn 'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abdur-Rahmān Ibn Bāz:
"What is prescribed for the believer is to respect his brother if he apologises to him and accept his excuse if possible, and to think positively of him whenever possible, in hopes that hearts will be free from resentment and that people will be brought together and will incorporate in doing good. It was narrated by `Umar ibn Al-Khattāb - may Allāh be pleased with him -
🍒 *"Do not think badly of a word uttered by your brother, when you can find a good interpretation for it."*
🔰Majmoo' Fataawa Ibn Bāz [26/365]
‘Abdullāh Ibn Muhammad Ibn Manaazil saod:
*"The Believer seeks excuses for his brothers, and the hypocrite seeks the mistakes for his brothers."*

* Ramadan is here! So why are the people of 'Iman happy? *
1 - They're happy because the Prophet (PBUH) would be!
When Ramadan would arrive, he would ascend the pulpit and announce, قَدْ جَاءَكُمْ رَمَضَانُ شَهْرٌ مُبَارَكٌ
'Ramadan has come to you! A blessed month!!'
2 - They're happy because Allah creates the most perfect conditions for worship
Thus, in Ramadan, 'all of the gates of Paradise open, and all of the gates of the hell-fire are closed, and the devils and rebellious Jinns are chained up' Why? In order to set the perfect scene of worship for all those who really wish to draw closer to Allah like never before. Thus a caller calls out in Ramadan, ‘O you who wants goodness, come! And O you who wants evil, enough!’
3 - They're happy because it's a chance to scoop unprecedented amounts of good deeds
Bearing in mind how short our lives are compared to those who lived before us, we need this month to compensate for our far shorter lives. Thus 'Laylatul Qadr' is 'greater than a thousand months!' It really couldn't get any better.
4 - They're happy because it's a golden opportunity to drop some of our heavy luggage of sins once and for all
Thus the Prophet (PBUH) would say, 'May his nose be soiled in dust! (may he be humiliated and disgraced); the one who witnesses Ramadan but then isn't forgiven from his sins!' From Allah's part, He has made the offer to forgive. From our end, it's up to us to accept the offer and start serious repentance.
5 - They're happy because 'Allah frees people who were destined to the fire every single night of Ramadan!'
As you break your fast in the Masjid or at home, think to yourself, have I been set free from the fire yet? Or am I still waiting?
6 - They're happy because Allah has taken it upon His Magnificent Self to reward those who fast
Imagine your employer saying, 'Give so and so their wages. As for so and so, leave their wages to me. I will take care of them.' Clearly, a massive reimbursement is on its way! With that in mind, Allah said, ‘Fasting is for me and *I* shall reward for it!’ Thus, only Allah knows what awaits them!
7 – They're happy because the one who fasts experiences two joys which none other experience
‘When he breaks his fast, he is happy with his food. And when he meets His Lord, he will be happy with his fast’ (Prophet Mohammad PBUH) Why is this? Because, ‘Fasting and Qur’an will intercede for a person on the Day of Judgement.’
8 – They're happy because this Ramadan could be the one that makes all the difference
Two men came to the Prophet (PBUH) and embraced Islam. One of them went on to die as a martyr whilst the other died a year later. Amazingly, one of the companions – Talha – saw in his dream that the one who died a year later entered paradise before the martyr. How could this be?! The Prophet (PBUH) told Talha, ‘Did he not fast an extra month of Ramadan?!’ Yes, this month could be the life changer!
9 – They're happy because, at a time when the sun is out, fasting is major protection
Thus the Prophet (PBUH) said, ‘Fasting is a shield’ Sins which we would have otherwise been far more susceptible to are now largely pushed aside.
10 – They're happy because happiness upon Ramadan’s arrival is a real sign of ‘iman
Thus Allah said, speaking about the reactions of the believers when verses from the Qur’an were revealed,
وَإِذَا مَا أُنْزِلَتْ سُورَةٌ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَقُولُ أَيُّكُمْ زَادَتْهُ هَذِهِ إِيمَانًا فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا فَزَادَتْهُمْ إِيمَانًا وَهُمْ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ
“And whenever a surah is revealed, some of the hypocrites say, "Which of you has this increased in faith?" As for those who believed, it has increased them in faith, while they are rejoicing!” (Q, 9:124)
* Ramadan is here! So why are the people of 'Iman happy? *

In terms of receiving greater reward, is it better for a women to pray taraweeh at home alone in her bedroom or in congregation at the masjid.
Keeping in mind her limited knowledge of Quraan.
💭 Answer:
Voluntary (Nawafil) prayer is better prayed in the home, for both men and women, and regarding the women specifically the matter is left open or she has the choice. So if a woman were to pray in the masjid, she is rewarded accordingly and if she prayed in her home, it is better because the Prophet sallAllaahu

💠who are the real people of Quran?💠
Al imaam Ibnul Qayyim said:
🔹The people of Quran are those who are knowledgeable about it and act upon what is therein, even if they didn't memorize it by heart.
🔸As for he who memorized it but didn't understand it nor did he act upon what is therein, then he is not from its people, even if he makes its letters as straight as an arrow ( i.e., recites it in a perfect way)"
Zaad-ul-Ma'aad (1/327)
🔹أَهْلُ الْقُرْآنِ هُمُ الْعَالِمُونَ بِهِ، وَالْعَامِلُونَ بِمَا فِيهِ، وَإِنْ لَمْ يَحْفَظُوهُ عَنْ ظَهْرِ قَلْبٍ.

💠Which is best; reciting Quran slowly with reflection upon its meanings, or reciting much of it quickly?💠
Imam ibnul Qayyim said:
"and the truth regarding this matter is to be said that the reward of the recitation of tarteel and reflection, is nobler and higher in rank, and the reward of much reciting is more in number.
🔹The first, is like giving a great jewel as sadaqa or setting free a slave of a very high cost.
🔹And the second, is like giving a big number of dirhams as sadaqa or setting free a number of slaves of a cheap cost."
(Zadul Ma'ad 1/327)
وَالصَّوَابُ فِي الْمَسْأَلَةِ أَنْ يُقَالَ: إِنَّ ثَوَابَ قِرَاءَةِ التَّرْتِيلِ وَالتَّدَبُّرِ أَجَلُّ وَأَرْفَعُ قَدَرًا، وَثَوَابَ كَثْرَةِ الْقِرَاءَةِ أَكْثَرُ عَدَدًا،

🎏 *Three Ameens – Hadith*
🍁Kaab Ibn Ujrah (radhi Allaahu anhu) relates that Rasulullah (ﷺ) said Come near to the mimbar and we came near the mimbar. When He (ﷺ) climbed the first step of the mimbar, He (ﷺ) said “Aameen”, When He (ﷺ) ascended the second step, He (ﷺ) said “Aameen”, When He (ﷺ) climbed the third step, He (ﷺ) said “Aameen” When He (ﷺ) came down, We said “O Rasool of Allah (ﷺ), we have heard from you today something which we never heard before” He (ﷺ) said When I climbed the first step, the angel Jibraeel (alaihi as-salam) appeared before me and said
💬“Destruction to him who found the blessed month of Ramdhan and let it pass by without gaining forgiveness”
upon that
🗯I said ‘Aameen’. When I climbed the second step, he said,
💬“Destruction to him before whom thy name is taken and then he does not make Dua for Allah’s blessing on me (by saying, for example , Sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam).”
🗯I replied ‘Aameen’. When I climbed the third step, he said
💬“Destruction unto him in whose lifetime his parents or either one of them reaches old age, and (through failure to serve them) he is not allowed to enter Jannah”.
🗯I said ‘Aameen’. (Hakim, Baihaqi)
📚Note In this Hadith, it appears that Jibraeel (alaihi as-salam) gave expression to three curses, upon which Rasulullah (ﷺ) said Aameen every time. In al-Durr al-Mansoor it is reported that Jibraeel (alaihi as-salam) advised Rasulullah (ﷺ) to say Aameen. Being an angel of such high mark, Jibraeel ‘s giving these curses is sure to be accepted. May Allah (Subhanahu wa Taala) in His infinite mercy grant us His help and save us from these three dangers.
