Shaykh ʿAbdullāh al-Bukhārī (حفظه الله) stated when describing the following texts:

[1] The statement of Allāh:

"وَأَنَّ هَـٰذَا صِرَاطِي مُسْتَقِيمًا فَاتَّبِعُوهُ ۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا السُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمْ عَن سَبِيلِهِ"

“And verily, this is my straight path, so follow it, and follow not other paths, for they will separate you from His path.”

[Sūrah al-An‘ām, 6:153]

[2] Jābir ibn ʿAbdillāh (رضي الله عنه) said: “We were with the Prophet (ﷺ), and he (ﷺ) drew a line [in the sand]. He (ﷺ) then drew two lines to its right and two to its left. He (ﷺ) then placed his hand on the middle line and said: ‘This is the path of Allāh.’ He (ﷺ) then recited the verse: ‘And verily, this is my straight path, so follow it, and follow not other paths, for they will separate you from His path.’” [Reported by Ibn Mājah and others, and Shaykh al-Albānī authenticated it.]

This verse is, as al-‘Allāmah al-Qurṭubī [d. AH 671] said, a great verse. It is a crushing blow to the innovators, the people of misguidance and the ḥizbīs who have innovated partisanship and differing and produced misguidance. It is a crushing blow for all of them because they deviated from the path of Allāh and followed those Shayāṭīn who call to those groups [of misguidance] and [deviated] paths.

Translator’s note:

The shaykh (حفظه الله) then went on to describe the Ḥadīth in a similar manner.

Narrated and translated by Musa Shaleem Mohammed who heard it directly from the Shaykh during his explanation of Fatḥ al-Majīd on October 13th, 2016.

🔹Shaykh bin Baz answers an important question in relation to the evil eye.

Question: Is it allowed to lie fearing the evil eye, a girl says that her grades were “Jayyid Jiddan” (very good) in her examination results, and (in reality) her grade was “Mumtaaz” (Excellent) on her certificate, (she did this) fearing the evil eye?

📰 Do not lie, this is lying, clarify the reality and there is no harm, all praises belong to Allah, depend and put your trust in Allah and it will not harm her.

A Supplication Which The Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) taught Aa’ishah ( رضي الله عنها )

IMAAM IBN MAAJAH -rahimahullaah- reported in his ‘Sunan’ (The Book of Supplication: Chapter [4] Comprehensive Supplication: no. 3846):

“Aboo Bakr ibn Abee Shaybah narrated to us, saying: Affaan narrated to us, saying: Hammaad ibn Salamah narrated to us, saying: Jabr ibn Habeeb related to me: from Umm Kulthoom bint Abee Bakr: from Aa·ishah: that Allaah’s Messenger taught her this supplication:

<< O Allaah! I ask You for all good: that which is in the present and that which is in the future, that which I know from it and that which I do not know; and I seek refuge with You from all evil: that which is in the present and that which is in the future, that which I know from it and that which I do not know.

O Allaah! I ask You for the good that Your servant and Your Prophet asked you for! And I seek refuge with You from the evil that Your servant and Your Prophet sought Your refuge from.

O Allaah! I ask You for Paradise and whatever draws someone closer to it from sayings and actions; and I seek Your refuge from the Fire and from what draws someone closer to it from sayings and actions; and I ask You that you make every decree which You ordain for me good >> .”

wa as’aluka an taj’al kulla qada’in qadaytahuli khayran”

🚩 Sujood al-Tilaawah (Summary):
[Prostration of Recitation]
🎓By Shaikh al-Fawzaan
📚 A Summary of Islaamic Jurisprudence

🌟1. It is a Sunnah.

🌟6. There are 15 places of Prostrations in the Qur’aan marked with a special symbol (۩).
i) Surah al-Araaf (7): 206
ii) Surah al-Ra
d (13): 15
iii) Surah al-Nahl (16): 49

🌟7. When going into prostration, one should say the Takbeer (Allaahu Akbar) as reported by Ibn
[Sunan Abu Dawood]

🌟8. In Prostration of Recitation one should say:
سبحان ربي الأعلى
(Sub-haana Rabbiyal-Alaa) like one does in regular prayer,

🌟9. One may also say the following:
اللهُمَّ لَكَ سَجَدْتُ، وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ، وَلَكَ أَسْلَمْتُ، سَجَدَ وَجْهِي لِلَّذِي خَلَقَهُ، وَصَوَّرَهُ، وَشَقَّ سَمْعَهُ وَبَصَرَهُ، تَبَارَكَ اللهُ أَحْسَنُ الْخَالِقِينَ

(O Allaah, it is to You that I prostrate myself, and it is in You that I affirm my Faith, and I submit to You. My face is submitted before One Who created it, and shaped it, and opened his faculties of hearing and seeing. Blessed is Allaah, the best of Creators) [Saheeh Muslim and the 4 Books of Sunan]

🌴🌴🌴

💢 Additional points: 💢

🌟10. One does not have to be in purification (Tahaarah/Wudhoo) to make the Prostration of Recitation. [Shaikh Ibn Baaz]

🌟11. A person should prostrate on the seven parts of his body like he does in regular prayer:

Over 1436 years ago, when a child was born, Prophet
MUHAMMAD ﷺ made it his practice to take a small part of a date and place it in his mouth. *He would then chew it until it was soft and then rub it onto the palate of the new born baby*.

*This is called Tahneek in Islam*. Today, BBC News has reported that "experts" have said - "A dose of sugar given as a gel rubbed into the inside of the cheek is a cheap and effective way to protect premature babies against brain damage" This is why Muslims follow the practice of the prophet without questioning it. Science is only now discovering a tradition that was introduced 1436 years ago because Islam was and still in the forefront of development.

*The Treatment Of Increasing The Power Of Your Eyesight.*
This Is Very Important To Those Whom Eyes Are Weak And Also To Everyone. Eye Muscles Suffer As Days Pass By, Which Will Lead To Them Not Capable Of Having Eye Contact The Accurate Way.
In Order To Restore Power In Our Eyesight And Keep Them
Always Powerful, We Need To Follow The Following Sunnah In
Our Salah. We Should Always Keep Our Eyes Open During The Sujuud And Stand Up While Looking At The Sujuud Spot And Keep Your Eyes Focused On The Spot Of Sujuud Throughout Your Salah. The Wisdom Behind Looking At The Sujuud Spot Is That While In Rukuu, The Eye Muscles Will Pressure The Lens To Increase Vision And While You Get Up The Eye
Muscles Will Loosen. While In Sujuud The Lens Will Shrink
Because Of The Distance Between The Eyes And The Ground. When You Get Up Again It'll Loosen The Eye Muscles. This Practice We Are Doing Each Day Is Exercising Our Eye Muscles. We Can Perform Each Day 17 Times Or As Much As We Want.

Our Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam) Was Always Instructing To Open Our Eyes During Sujuud And Now Scientists Have Proven That This Practice Works In Increasing The Power Of Eyesight. Subhan Allah For This Great Wisdom Of Opening Our Eyes During Sujuud.

This Deserves To Be Read And Shared With Others. Share And Don't Stop Yourself From Getting Reward From Allah A Non Muslim Scientist Proved We Are More Electrically Charged Now Than Ever Before Due To The Electromagnetic Radiations From The Things Like: Mobile, TV, AC, Microwave etc, And If We Don't Want This Radiation To Harm Us, We Should Place Our Forehead On The Floor More Than Once A Day As The Earth Can Absorb Radiation. We Muslims Are Gifted With 5 Times Salaat To Touch Our Heads Downs i.e. 92 Sajdahs Everyday. Subhaan Allah.! *There Is Always Wisdom Behind Allah's Commandments.*

Remembering to Say the Morning & Evening Adhkaar

Translated by Abbas Abu Yahya

From Aaban bin Uthmaan who said: I heard Uthmaan bin Affan saying that he heard the Messenger of Allaah -sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam- say:

‘There is no slave of Allaah who says in the morning of every day and the evening of every night:

‘In the name of Allaah with whose name no harm whatsoever can come to you on the earth or in heaven, and Allaah is the all-Hearing and all-knowing.’

 – Three times , that anything will harm him.’

Aaban had been afflicted with semi paralysis which caused a man to stare at him, so Aaban said to him:

‘What are you looking at? As for the Hadeeth then it is how I narrated it to you,  however that day I did not say this Dhikr and Allaah’s Qadr was executed upon me.’

[Collected by Ahmad, Abu Dawood and Ibn Hibban & authenticated by Albaani in Saheeh Ibn Majah No. 3134, Saheeh Abu Dawood No.5088]

Comments:

Shaykh al-Muhhadith Muhammad Nasir- Deen Al-Albaani (d.1420A.H) -Rahimullaah- commented in ‘Silsilah Huda wa Noor’ saying:

‘It is obligatory upon every Muslim,  firstly as worship . . and secondly as medical treatment to seek refuge with Allaah -Azza wa Jal- with statements narrated from the Messenger –sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam- authentically conveyed that he said or that one should say:

‘In the name of Allaah with whose name no harm whatsoever can come to you on the earth or in heaven, and Allaah is the all-Hearing and all-knowing.’

Since indeed nothing whatsoever shall harm him during that day. This Hadeeth is narrated by Imam Ahmad in his Musnad and the collectors of the ‘Sunnan’ in their books from the narration of Aaban bin Uthmaan bin Affan.

Uthmaan bin Affan is more well known than a big guiding fire lit upon a mountain to guide the people, one of the rightly guided Khulafa,  the third Khalifa his son Aaban is from the Thiqaat (trustworthy narrators) of the Taba’een (successors of the Companions) and from those who had memorised the narrations. He was in a gathering and when he narrated this Hadeeth one of those in the gathering stared at him, meaning that Aaban the one who was talking understood, he was the one conveying the Hadeeth and he had been afflicted with paralysis in his hand so Aaban understood when the person in the gathering looked in a certain way.

Aban said to him: O my son – and he mentioned the meaning of what follows, if Qadr descends sight is blinded, I forgot to seek refuge with this supplication on that day,  so I was afflicted with semi paralysis this is why it is necessary for the Muslim to make his habit and principle of which it would not be possible to forget, except if he forgot food and drink and he is so much in need of this and it is not possible to forget to eat, therefore, it is necessary to have great concern for this type of supplication, and if Qadr occurs then it had none besides Allaah who can avert it, (or advance it, or delay it).’

[Silsilah huda wa noor no. 746 at 22:31]

Shaykh Muhammad bin Salih al-Uthaymeen (d.1421 A.H.) said:

‘This is because Allaah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala has in His Hand the dominion of the heavens and the earth.  His Name is blessed if it is mentioned over something. This is why it is legislated to mention Allaah Ta’ala’s Name over food, if you intended to eat then you say in the Name of Allaah and if you intend to drink then you say in the Name of Allaah, if you intend to come to your wife then you say in the Name of Allaah.

Therefore, mentioning the Name of Allaah is legislated to say at many times however the strongest opinion is that it is obligatory for a person to mention it upon food and drink, if he intends to eat he says in the Name of Allaah, and if he intends to drink that he says in the Name of Allaah, due to the command of the Prophet -sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam- to do so. Also because the Prop
het -sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam- mentioned that whoever did not mention the Name of Allaah over his food then Shaytaan partakes in that food. So do not forget to say every evening and every morning : ‘In the Name of Allaah with whose name no harm whatsoever can come to you on the earth or in heaven, and Allaah is the all – Hearing and all – knowing. Three times.’

[From ‘Explanation of Riyadh as-Salheen’ Kitaab al-Itikaaf, chapter Dhikr in the morning and evening. By Shaykh Uthaymeen]
