📃 #11 - The First Deception of Iblees

Ibn al-Jawzi (d. 597 A.H.) -rahimullaah- said:

'Know that the first deception of Iblees upon the people was to restrain and prevent them from knowledge, because knowledge is Noor (light), so if Iblees extinguishes their lanterns then he causes them to wander around in the dark however he wants.'

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Woman is ‘awrah, and if she goes out, the shaytaan raises his hopes (of misguiding her). She is never closer to Allaah than when she stays in her house.”

Narrated by Ibn Hibbaan and Ibn Khuzaymah; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Shaheehah, no. 2688.

"The status of the Muslim woman in Islam is a very noble and lofty one, and her effect is very great in the life of every Muslim.
Indeed the Muslim woman is the initial teacher in building a righteous society, providing she follows the guidance from the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of the Messenger ﷺ . Since adherence to the Qur’an and the Sunnah distances every Muslim - male or female - from being misguided in any matter."

🌐[Posted By Troid.ca - A Response To A Particular Question Concerning The Position And Status Of Muslim Women And Has Been Taken From His Majmu ul Fatawa Wa Maqalatil Mutanawwi'ah (3/348-350)]
The Statement *"Dont Thank Me, Just make dua for me"* is *Incorrect*!

Many times when a Muslim does a favor for another Muslim the one receiving the favor will thank them, so they will reply by saying, “do not thank me just make dua for me.” The Scholars have explained that this is not correct
The following is a summary translation taken from the website of Shaikh Saalih al-Fawzan {hafidhahullaah}:

Shaikh Fawzan said, (in his book Highlights of the religious verdicts of Shaikh-ul Islam Ibn Taymiyaah in the creed) that Shaikh-ul Islam Ibn Taymiyaah (rahimahullaah) said:

📌 And from the manners of the one who gives to others or spends upon others is that they should NOT seek a favor based on what they have given, NOR should they seek a reward from the creation based upon what they have given. And from the rewards is to request supplication (dua).
Allah says about those He has commended: “we only feed you seeking the Face of Allaah; we do not want from you any reward or any thanks.” {Al-Insan, 76:9 }
And supplication is a reward, as comes in the Hadith, whoever does a favor for you then return the favor to them; and if you are not able to find anything to return the favor with, then supplicate for them until you know that your supplication has equaled their favor.

📌 And 'Aisha (radiallaahu 'anha), when she would send out charity, she would say to the one delivering the charity for her, “listen to the supplication that they make for us, so that you can make the same supplication for them that they made for us and therefore our reward can remain with Allaah.” (SubhanAllaah )

📌 Some of the pious predecessors would say, if a beggar says to you: “may Allaah bless you,” then say to them, “and may Allaah bless you as well.”

📌 Therefore, whoever does well to the creation, whether they are from the Prophets, or righteous people, or a king or a rich person; then this good must be done sincerely for the Face of Allaah, only seeking the Face of Allaah. And they should not request from the creation any reward, or supplication or anything else; not from a Prophet nor from a righteous man because Allaah has commanded His slaves, all of them to worship Him making the worship sincerely for Him alone.

What the heart acquires from the Qur’aan
ماذا يحصل القلب من القرآن

The Allaama Ibn Uthaymeen -Rahimahullaah- said :

‘Every time a person’s Eeman strengthens with the Qur’aan, then Allaah gives Yaqeen (certainty) due to the evidences of the Qur’aan which cannot be found in any other book.
This is why I encourage you and my self to have complete concern for the Qur’aan, reciting it, reflecting upon it and acting upon it.

Experience this for yourself, return to the Qur’aan in these matters and see what your heart acquires from Eemaan, delight of the heart, light of the heart and light on the face.’

[Sharh al-Kafi ash-Shafi 4/166]
Al-Hasan Al-Basri (rahimahullaah) said:

”When a man used to seek knowledge, it did not take long before (the effect) was seen in his eyesight; in his fear of Allaah; on his tongue; on his hands; in his prayer and his abstinence from the lawful but unnecessary worldly things.”

🔒Question :

What is the correct methodology for advising, particularly with regard to advising the rulers? Is it by publicising their evil actions from their evil actions from the mimbars or by advising them in private? I would like to know what the correct methodology is concerning this matter?

🔓Answer

Infallibility is not for anyone except Allaah’s Messenger . *Rulers are humans and they make errors*. So no doubt they have errors and mistakes, as they are not infallible.

🚫But do not make their errors a reason for you to publicise them and remove yourself from obeying them, _even if they may be oppressive and unjust_ ,and even if they may be sinful, so long as they do not commit clear disbelief.

*This is that the Prophet commanded us.*

“The Religion is sincerity (advice). The Religion is sincerity (advice). The Religion is sincerity (advice).”

We said:

“To who, O Messenger of Allah?”

He said:

🔊“To Allaah, His Book, His Messenger, *the leaders of the Muslims* and their common folk.”

👒 *THE RULING OF VARIOUS TYPES OF DOLLS.*

There are many different types of dolls, some are made of cotton and are merely a sack with different sections as a head, two arms and two feet. Whilst some accurately resemble a human and others speak, cry or walk. What is the ruling of making or buying such types of dolls for small girls designed for their education and amusement?

The Answer:
*As for the inaccurately detailed doll, such that it consists of some limbs, a head and DOES NOT SHOW ANY CLOSE RESEMBLANCE TO A HUMAN, there is no doubt as to it's permissibility*. It is of the type of dolls that 'Aaisha (radiAllahu anha) used to play with.

☝🏼Whereas if it is complete in it's resemblance to a human, as if you were looking at one, especially if it moves or speaks, then I have a doubt about it's permissibility because _it totally emulates that created by Allaah_.

It is apparent that the dolls that 'Aaisha (radiAllahu anha) used to play with were different to this, therefore to avoid it is more worthy, but I do not affirm that it is forbidden.

Bearing in mind that it is permitted for children in such matters that not permitted for adults.

For it is created within the nature of children to like playing and amusement and they are not responsible for any type of worship, so that we could have possibly argued that their time is wasted in such playing and amusement.

*If a person wants to be safe in such matters, let him cut the dolls head off or heat it up over fire until it becomes soft and then press away it's features*.

RULING ON WATCHING MOVIES AND TELEVISION AND PLAYING CARDS DURING THE DAYTIME IN RAMADAN

Muslims, whether fasting or not, should fear Allah with regard to what they do or do not do at all times. They should avoid forbidden matters such as watching obscene movies which depict things that Allah has prohibited including naked and semi-naked pictures. These reprehensible programs shown on television go against Allah's Shar` (Law) like images, singing, musical instruments, and misleading ideas.

Every Muslim, whether fasting or not, should avoid acts like playing cards and other kinds of entertainment that involves witnessing evil and committing sins, for the result will be hardening and impairing the heart, making light of Allah's Shar.

🎓Abu Miftah Adil bin Arif hafidhahullah tweeted regarding Hijab and it's conditions:
📝 "Hijab is not only modest clothing, it is a mindset & a methodology. *Hijab is a safeguard for believers from harassment, abuse & indecency.*

🚫Hijab is not trendy.
🚫Hijab is not modeling.
🚫Hijab is not revealing.
🚫Hijab is not form-fitting.
🚫Hijab is not adornment.
🚫Hijab is not sexy.

The last thing a believing woman is worried about is how appealing she looks to others. She dresses to please her Lord, _not His creation._

If you're a "Hijabista", PLEASE reconsider your priorities. You shouldn't be going out in public w/ tight clothes, make-up, perfume etc…

📦Like the most precious of gems, our women aren't cheap play things for others' to abuse. Muslim women are modest, God-fearing & protected.

Modest fashion…
Hijabi Fashionista…
Hijab Styles…
Sexy Hijabi…
These terms —among many others— are contradictory & incompatible w/ Hijab

For some reason, people have a problem w/ the Islamic concept of Hijab. They seem _angry_ that their indecent clothing isn't considered Hijab.

I am not saying Hijab is a forcefield that protects you from ALL abuse. I'm just pointing out SOME aspects of Hijab.

CALM DOWN & COVER UP".

End of Quotes.
