HE SHOULD NOT FEEL SAFE FOR HIMSELF!
"The hearts of the slaves are in between two Fingers among the Fingers of the Most Merciful."
{Reported by Muslim in his Sahih (4/2045 no 2654) from 'Abdullaah bin 'Amr (Radi Allaahu anhu).}
Shaikh Fawzaan: He should not feel safe for himself. Prophet Ibraahim said:
"...And keep me and my sons away from worshipping idols. "O my Lord! They have indeed led astray many among mankind..."
[Qur'aan 14: 35-36].
A person should not feel safe from trials and an evil end for himself even if he is the most righteous of people. On the other hand, he should not despair of Allaah's mercy even if he is the worst of people. Allaah may favour him with repentance such that he dies upon Islaam and enters Paradise because as long as he is living, he is exposed to this or that; and actions are considered according to the last ones.

🔍 *Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan on the Study of the 'Scientific Miracle'*
Numerous people have been leading the 'Scientific Miracle' bandwagon and directing average Muslims into using this as a basis for inviting others to Islam. *This is NOT the way of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jamaa'ah, the followers of the Salafi methodology in da'wah.*
The reason is quite obvious and plain.
🕳Scientific knowledge is always in a state of flux and attempting to correlate verses of the Qur'an with modern science is in reality
⏩ *speaking about the intent of Allaah without knowledge, and amounts to lying upon Allaah, the Exalted.*
🕳Whilst the Qur'an alludes to certain natural phenomenon, the primary purpose behind such texts is
⏩ *to make a man reflect on the universe and upon his own self and upon his own creation* (how he came to be) so as to come to a concrete realization:
☝🏼That none has the right to be worshipped in truth except Allaah alone and that
☝🏼there is no true serenity and satisfaction for the hearts _except in this._
📮 *Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan on the 'Scientific Miracle'*
The Shaykh delivered a lecture ennoscriptd ( وقفة مع قوله تعالى: هو الذي أنزل عليك الكتاب ) and was asked the following question therein:
❓هل علم الإعجاز العلمي في القرآن ، علم محدث أم لا ؟
❓Is the science (study) of the scientific miracle of the Qur'an an innovated science or not?
The Shaykh answered:
🅰It is newly-invented (muhdath), this 'scientific miracle' is newly-invented.
Their intent behind 'scientific (knowledge, study)' is NOT the legislative (Shar'iah) knowledge, *their intent is applied science or the ideas they depend upon from the newly-invented things.*
And this is WORLDLY knowledge, the Qur'an is not to be interpreted by way of it, because it can be right _and wrong too._❕
🔊So how can the Qur'an be interpreted with something that is subject to error, subject to error and subject to absence of (being) sound, because they are from the sayings of men. Yes.

The Three Men and the Valley
It is reported that ‘Abdullâh b. Mas’ûd – Allâh be pleased with him – said:
The example of the believer, the unbeliever and the hypocrite is that of three people who arrived at a valley. One of them descended and passed through to the other side. One of them descended until he reached half way, when the third man on the edge of the valley called to him, “Woe to you, where are you going? You will die. Come back.” The man who made it to the other side called to him, “Come and be saved.” So [the man in the middle of the valley] kept looking back and forth at the two [on each side of the valley], when a flood came into the valley and drowned him. The man who passed through to the other side is the believer; the one who drowned is the munâfiq (hypocrite) –
[The Hypocrites] sway between this and that, neither [fully] with the believers nor with the unbelievers.

And the one who remained at the edge of the valley [not able to escape the flood and pass] is the kâfir (unbeliever).

❓Questioner:
Many a times I [try to] awake my wife for the Fajr prayer however she doesn’t get up, instead, she constantly performs the prayer after sunrise. What is incumbent to do hereafter?
🎓Shaykh Ṣāliḥ ibn Fawzān al-Fawzān حفظه الله :
Her prayer is not accepted. If she does not get up to pray the Fajr prayer you should divorce her. She is not a Muslim. Those who miss the Fajr prayer are not Muslims. If she repents, then Allah ﷻ accept her repentance, so remain with her, otherwise, look for someone else.

🗣 Three Types of People During The Night
👤 As Sahabah, Salmaan al-Faarisee رضي الله عنه (d. 35)
On the authority of of Taariq Ibn Sheehaab رحمه الله that Salmaan al-Faarisee رضي الله عنه stated:
“When it’s the night time, the people are of three positions in regards to it:
👉🏼 From them, those who the night is for him and not against him.
👉🏼 From them are those who the night is against him and not for him.
👉🏼 And from them are those who the night is not for him or against him.”

“As for the one who the night is for him and not against him, a person who takes advantage of the unawareness of the people and the darkness of the night. He makes Wudū and prays. That’s the one who the night is for him and not against him. Then there’s a person who takes advantage of the unawareness of the people and the darkness of the night and goes about in the disobedience of Allāh. Are Videos of Islaamic Lectures a Necessity?
Some people assume that conveying Islaam to the people is a necessity that requires the use of video recordings. Shaykh Saalih al-Fowzaan was asked the following question:
Is the one who records Islaamic lectures and lessons considered someone mentioned in the hadeeth (forbidding tasweer)?
The shaykh (may Allaah preserve him) replied:
Yes, yes he is included. He is included in that. There is no need for tasweer. Islaamic lectures are recorded (audio), listened to, and transcribed. The goal is accomplished without tasweer.

Averting Ghamm (Grief) and Hamm (Worry) – Imam Ibn al-Jawzi
Ghamm Occurs Due To Misfortunes that happened in the past while hamm occurs due to an expected misfortune in the future.
When someone has the feeling of grief in regard to his past sins, his grief will benefit him, because he is rewarded for it. Whoever worries about a good deed he wishes to do, his worry will benefit him as well. However if someone grieves for something that he missed from this world, then [he should know] that the missed thing will not return and that grief harms, so practically he is adding harm to harm, as I have mentioned in the previous chapter.
A resolute person should protect himself from what brings about grief, and that is losing an object he loves. Therefore, whoever has many objects that he loves, his grief increases, and whoever decreases his objects of love his grief decreases accordingly. Someone may say, when I have no objects of love I also still have grief, we affirm this but we say to him; your grief over not having a loved one is not even a tenth of the grief experienced by the one who has lost a loved one. Have you not noticed that the one who does not have a child lives in grief but not as much as the one who lost his child?! Moreover when a person becomes accustomed to what he loves and enjoys it for a long period of time, it takes over his heart, therefore when he loses it he will feel the bitterness of his loss which will be greater than all the satisfaction he had during his lifetime. This is because the loved one is corresponding to the self just as health corresponds to it, which causes the self not to find satisfaction except in it, for its absence disturbs it. This is why the self grieves for its loss much more than it rejoices in its presence, because the inner self believes that what it had was its given right to possess. Therefore a wise person should monitor the closeness between himself, his beloved to ensure it remains moderately balanced, however if he requires that which brings about grief [i.e. loving some object or person], this causes grief then the cure is first to believe in predestination and that whatever Allah predestines is going to happen. He should then know that life is founded on distress, all constructed buildings shall eventually be ruined, all gatherings shall eventually depart, and whoever wants the lasting of what does not last is like he who wants what does not exist to exist. Therefore he should not ask of life what it was not created for.
Section One: Treating Sorrow, Sadness and Grief
Sorrow, sadness and grief may befalls one due the prevalence of blackness, which should be treated with what will remove this blackness; which are the things that bring about joy. Grief freezes the blood while happiness heats it until its intrinsic heat is raised, both of them (happiness and grief) can harm, and may lead to death, if they are not immediately kept within moderate levels.

Does he not know that if he misguided an individual – that if he made permissible that which Allah has made haraam or made haraam that which Allah has made halal for the person – then he is the cause for that persons sins.
And does he not know that he will have the like of those sins for those actions which were caused by his fataawa?!
