Morals Of The Believing Men And Women
Shaykh ‘Abd al-‘Azeez ibn Bāz [رحمه الله] said:
❝These are some of the morals and characteristics of the believing men and women. They help, protect, and support one another. They do not envy, cheat, betray, insult, or call each other by offensive nicknames. They do not slander or do anything that may hurt or cause feuds, enmity, and division; instead they love and advise and exhort one another to do good for the sake of Allah. They, therefore, enjoin the good and forbid the evil amongst them. Such is the behavior of the believing men and women.
With these manners societies prosper and affairs are straightened. In addition to this, the believers perform Salah [Prayer] as prescribed by Allah, in a state of tranquility, Khushu’ [the heart being attuned to the act of worship], and devotion; in its due times; and fulfilling its conditions, pillars, and obligations. They perform it as Allah has prescribed, each in its due time.❞

⚜The questioner asks:
Indeed he (i.e. this person) had a disagreement with his father about some wealth and this led him to hate his father, shouted at him and refused to sit with him; so is he sinful for boycotting his father, who is now very old and ill?
🔓Answer:
*What this son has done to his father is Uqooq (disobedience, disrespectfulness and undutifulnes to parents) and it is a major sin among the major sins,* and we see Allaah’s protection from it.
‼This son is (exposes) himself to a great danger and it is obligatory upon him to repent to Allaah.
*He should return to his father in order to make him happy, seek his pardon, seek to please him and honour him.*
Allaah (The Most High ) said:
وَاعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَلَا تُشْرِكُوا بِهِ شَيْئًا ۖ وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا
_Worship Allah and join none with Him in worship, and do good to parents._.
📖[4:36]
And Allaah (Glorified be He and free is He from all imperfections) said:
وَإِن جَاهَدَاكَ عَلَىٰ أَن تُشْرِكَ بِي مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ فَلَا تُطِعْهُمَا ۖ وَصَاحِبْهُمَا فِي الدُّنْيَا مَعْرُوفًا
_But if they (both) strive with you to make you join in worship with Me others that of which you have no knowledge, then obey them not, *but behave with them in the world kindly…*_
📖[31:15]
Good behaviour with parents is required of a person towards non-Muslim parents, _then how about if a person’s a parent is a Muslim!_‼

270- Ruling on believing in the expectations of the astronomers
Q: Your Eminence Shaykh: What is the ruling on applying the expectations of the astronomers concerning the solar/lunar eclipse?
A: The astronomers' reports regarding the time of solar/lunar eclipse as when they predict that the sun will eclipse on such and such day or the moon will eclipse on such and such night may be true or false as held by the Shaykh of Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn Al-Qayyim and others. The astronomers may fail or succeed in their expectations. However, we should not act upon their sayings unless we witness the eclipse with our eyes. The Prophet (peace be upon him) was reported to have said: The sun and the moon are two of the signs of Allah; they do not eclipse for the death or life of anyone. But Allah sends them to make His Servants fear (Him), so if you see that then pray and supplicate until it is over. When people sight the eclipse, they should hasten to Allah and invoke Him. The Sunnah (action following the teachings of the Prophet) is to hasten to offer Salah (Prayer), Dhikr (Remembrance of Allah), and Du`a' (supplication) when sighting the solar/lunar eclipse. As for the astronomers reporting that the sun will eclipse on such and such day or morning and the moon will eclipse on such and such night, this should not be relied upon except

Is a man regarded as a true Muslim if he does not force his wife or daughters to wear Hijaab (veil)?
A: It is obligatory for the Muslim woman to wear Hijaab. She will be held sinful if she fails to wear it. Her guardian, who is capable of asking her to observe it, will also be held sinful and lacking in Iman (Faith) if he ever shows leniency in this respect. However, he cannot be considered as a Kafir (disbeliever).
May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.

What Is More Of A Fitnah? The Face Or The Feet?
Regardnig Allaah’s statement, “…and let them not stamp their feet, so as to reveal what they hide from their adornment.” [Noor(24):31]
Ibn ‘Uthaymeen says:
This means that a woman must not strike her foot so as to let it be known what she conceals (from her adornment), such as her ankle bracelets or anything else that she adorns herself with for a man. So is a woman is forbidden (in this aayah) from stamping her feet, for fear of causing fitnah for a man, due to what he hears rom the sound of her ankle-bracelet or its types, then how about exposing the face?
Which of the two is a greater cause for fitnah? That a man hears the sound of tthe ankle-bracelet produced by the foot of a woman, not knowing who she is, nor her beauty nor if she is young or old or if she is unattractive or beautiful. Which of these two is a greater fitnah?
This, or that he looks at a woman’s uncovered face that is perhaps beautiful, fair, young, bright, enticing, and which is perhaps beautified with that which attracts fitnah (temptation) and calls for the prohibited look?
Indeed, every man that has an interest in women knows which of the two is a greater fitnah and which is more deserving of being covered and concealed.”
