Four benefits of saying “Allah knows best”
By Shaykh Abdur-Rahman bin Naasir al-Sa’dee may Allah have mercy on him
The Shaykh mentions this point of benefit in his risaalah “From the mannerisms of the Learned and Learners” and is found in his book “al-Fataawa as-Si’deeyah”.
From the greatest obligations upon the teachers is to refrain from speaking about things they have no knowledge of by saying, “Allah knows best”. This does not diminish their status, rather it increases their degree. It shows their perfection in the deen and causes them to investigate for the correct answer.
Benefits of refraining from speaking without knowledge
Refraining from speaking without knowledge has numerous benefits. From them:
1.It something obligatory upon every individual.
2.If one stops and says, “Allah knows best” then it will be a means to attain knowledge faster, because either the teacher, or another, will review the issue. When the student sees his teacher diligent and serious in obtaining that knowledge, then the teacher becomes a valuable gift to him . And what a perfect influence this is!
3.When a person refrains from indulging in what he has no knowledge of, then this is a sign for his reliability, integrity, perfection in his surety regarding masaa’il (issues). Likewise, the one who is known to speak about affairs he has no knowledge of is doubtful (to the people) every time he speaks, even in clear issues.
4.If the students see from their teacher that he stops in affairs he doesn’t have knowledge of, then in that is educating and guidance to this beautiful path. And being an example in situations through actions stands out more than being an example through statements.

Al-Hârith b. Qays – Allah have mercy on him – said:
"When intending to do something good, do not delay it until tomorrow. When involved in something to do with the hereafter, keep yourself involved as long as you can. When involved in some worldly matter, put your mind to it (so as to get it done). And if you are praying and Shaytân whispers, ‘You are showing off,’ then make your prayer even longer."

The four gems in your body....
Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said: "There are four gems in the body of the son of Adam that are removed by four things. As for the gems, they are: intellect, Religion, Shame, and Good Deeds.
Anger removes the intellect, envy removes religion, desire removes shame, and backbiting removes good deeds."

الحكمة Al Hikmah:
Beware of '#young #celebrity #muslim' speakers!
From the sayings of the salaf, it is reported that there was a young man who was from the people of knowledge who used to put himself forward, speak and behave haughtily with his knowledge in front of those older than him.
This angered Sufyân [Ath-Thawrî] and he said,
“The Salaf were never like this; they never used to claim leadership, or sit at the head of the gathering until they had sought this knowledge for thirty years, and you act haughty in front of those who are older than you. Get up, I never want to see you even come close to my circle."
[Al-Bayhaqi, Al-Madkhal ila Al-Sunan Al-Kubra 2:74.]

*The 3 types of oppression -Imam Sadi*
_بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم_
An excerpt from Imam Sadi’s Sharh of the hadeeth:
اتقوا الظلم فإن الظلم ظلمات يوم “القيامة"
*Fear oppression, for indeed oppression is darkness on yawmul qiyaamah.*
Agreed upon
———–
The shaykh says at the end of his sharh that there are three types of oppression:
1️⃣ - A type that Allah does not forgive, and it is associating partners with Allah
*“Indeed Allah does not forgive those who associate partners with him”* An-Nisa; Verse 48
2️⃣- A type of oppression that Allah does not leave anything from it; and it is the oppression of the slaves one to another. So from the perfection of Allah’s justice is that he will punish the creation, in accordance to their oppressing each other.
3️⃣- A type of oppression which is under the will of Allah; if Allah wills he will punish him, and if he wills he will forgive its people, and (this oppression) is the sins which are between the slaves and his Lord, regarding that which is lesser than shirk.

Three Laughs and Three Tears
🎓 It is reported form Abû Al-Dardâ – Allâh be pleased with him – that he said,
“Three make me laugh, and three make me cry."!
➡️Those that make me laugh are:
➖a person who puts his hopes in this worldly life while death pursues him,
➖a person who is heedless [of his Lord] while [his Lord] is not heedless of him, and
➖a person who always laughs while he does not know whether he has pleased Allâh or angered Him.
➡️ What makes me cry is
➖being separated from my beloved: Muhammad and his party (the Companions),
➖the horrors of the time of death, and
➖standing in front of Allâh ‘azza wa jall on the Day when the secrets will be revealed and I do not know will I then go to Paradise or Hell?”

The era of treachery and confusion at our doorsteps:
Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه narrated that the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: ❝THERE WILL COME TO THE PEOPLE YEARS OF TREACHERY, WHEN THE LIAR WILL BE REGARDED AS HONEST, AND THE HONEST MAN WILL BE REGARDED AS A LIAR; THE TRAITOR WILL BE REGARDED AS FAITHFUL, AND THE FAITHFUL MAN WILL BE REGARDED AS A TRAITOR...❞
📚 [Sunan Ibn Maajah (4036). Shaikh al-Albaanee graded it as “Hasan li shawaahidihee” (Good due to other supporting chains) in “al-Saheehah” (1887). Shaikh Muqbil also graded it as “Hasan li ghairihee” in “Saheeh Dalaail al-Nubuwwah” (568)]
⚡ THERE WILL COME TO THE PEOPLE YEARS OF TREACHERY
🔵 If we are already not in it, then we are at least witnessing a part of it. And the worse is still ahead, as the Prophet ﷺ had said: ❝Be patient till you meet your Lord, for no time will come upon you but the time following it will be worse than it.❞
📚 [Saheeh al-Bukhaaree (7068)]
⚡ WHEN THE LIAR WILL BE REGARDED AS HONEST // THE TRAITOR WILL BE REGARDED AS FAITHFUL:
🔴 It has become a norm for the news media to stir up lies, and to present the fictions as facts.
🔵 Fake evidences are believed, doctored images are trusted, and rumors are widespread.
🔴 Then we have the perpetrators who are believed and supported.
💢💢💢
⚡ AND THE HONEST MAN WILL BE REGARDED AS A LIAR // AND THE FAITHFUL MAN WILL BE REGARDED AS A TRAITOR:
🔵 On the other hand, the victims are disbelieved, shamed, slandered, and accused. Their voices suppressed by the roars of the supporters of the perpetrators.
🔴 Real news is not covered, genuine proofs are discarded, and truth is rejected.

❤️9 – We regard reading the Qur’aan as a means for guidance.
Allaah Ta’ala said:
((ذلك الكتاب لا ريب فيه هدى للمتقين))
《 This is the Book (the Qur’aan), whereof there is no doubt, a guidance to those who are Al-Muttaqun [the pious and righteous]》[Baqara: 2]
In the Hadeeth Qudsi:
“ياعبادي كلكم ضال إلا من هديته فاستهدوني أهدكم”
‘O My worshippers all of you are astray except for the one whom I have guided, so seek guidance from Me and I will guide you.’
[Collected by Muslim]
❤10 – We read the Qur’aan with the intention that we die while following the Qur’aan.
Just like when Allaah Ta’ala granted Uthmaan –Radhi Allaahu anhu– martyrdom while he was reading the Qur’aan.
Ibn Katheer -rahimahullaah- said:
‘Whoever lives according to something then he dies upon that and whoever dies upon something then he will be resurrected upon that. . . . . based upon the saying of Allaah Ta’ala:
((أم حسب اللذين اجترحوا السيئات أن نجعلهم كالذينآمنوا وعملوا الصالحات سواء محياهم ومماتهم ساءمايحكمون))
《 Or do those who earn evil deeds think that We shall hold them equal with those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah) and do righteous good deeds, in their present life and after their death? Worst is the judgement that they make. 》[Jatheeya:21 ]
❤11 – We read the Qur’aan with the intention of hoping for a closeness to our Lord with love for His Great Speech.
As is in the Hadeeth:
“إنك مع من أحببت”
‘Indeed you will be with whom you loved’
[Collected by Muslim]
❤️12 – We regard reading the Qur’aan as a great means for the increase of Eemaan. This is due to the saying of Allaah Ta’ala :
(( وإذا ما أنزلت سورة فمنهم من يقول أيكم زادته هذهإيمانا فأما اللذين آمنوا فزادتهم إيمانا وهميستبشرون))
《 And whenever there comes down a Surah (chapter from the Qur’aan), some of them (hypocrites) say: “Which of you has had his Faith increased by it?” As for those who believe, it has increased their Faith, and they rejoice. 》 [Tawbah:124]
❤13 – From our intentions of reading the Qur’aan is that indeed we want to increase our knowledge about our Lord and knowing about Him by which we can increase our humility and neediness of Him so that we can seek assistance from Him in every single moment of ours.
❤️14 – From intentions for reading the Qur’aan is that we hope by reading it we acquire a great excellence which is that it will be a means for Allaah Ta’ala to choose us to be from His people and those special to Him due to the saying of the beloved Messenger:
إن لله أهلين من الناس
‘Indeed Allaah has a certain people from among the people.’
They asked: ‘who are they O Messenger of Allaah?’
He answered:
“هم أهل القرآن ، أهل الله وخاصته”
‘They are the people of the Qur’aan, the people of Allaah and those special to Him.’
Authenticated by Albaani[8]
❤️15 – From the greatest of intentions and most important of them and at the forefront of them is that we worship Allaah Ta’ala by reading the Qur’aan
This is due to the saying of Allaah Ta’ala:
((ورتل القرآن ترتيلا))
《and recite the Qur’aan (aloud) in a slow, (pleasant tone and) style 》 [Muzamil:4]
After all what has preceded, have you ever asked yourself what is your intention while you read the Noble Qur’aan.

Shaikh al-Albaani:
“It is not permissible for her to pray with her feet uncovered, indeed it is not permissible for her to walk in the streets with her feet uncovered, because the feet are part of a woman’s
awrah based on Allaah’s عز وجل Statement: {And let them not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment}.[1] The woman during the Days of Ignorance used to wear what is known in the Arabic language as khalkhaal (anklet), meaning a bracelet with small bells. So when the woman walked, she – in order to turn the men’s attention to her – would strike the ground with her feet so the anklet would make a noise and the men would hear that; and such was due to shaitaan’s whisperings to her.
This means that the feet used to be covered. Because of what? Because of the jilbaab that the women were commanded to cast down from over their heads, according to Allaah’s Statement: {O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their outer garments (jilbaabs) close upon themselves}.[2] And it is mentioned in the authentic hadeeth that the Prophet ﷺ said one day during a gathering in which there were also women: ‘Whoever drags his garment out of pride, Allaah عز وجل will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection.’ One of the women said: ‘O Messenger of Allaah, then our feet will be exposed.’ He ﷺ said: ‘let the women lengthen (their garments) by a hand-span.’ She said: ‘Then a wind will come and uncover (their feet).’ He ﷺ said: ‘let them add another hand-span, i.e. (a total of) one cubit, and not go beyond that.’[3] [4]
In this manner, the jilbaab of the Muslim woman – at the time of the revelation of the above-mentioned verse: {to draw their outer garments (jilbaabs) close upon themselves} – used to cover the feet since the socks that are widespread nowadays among both women and men were not widespread at that time. The woman used to cover her shins and feet with the long jilbaab that resembles the abaa.ah. Therefore it is not permissible for a Muslim woman to uncover her feet while she is on the street, and it is even more impermissible for her to pray with her feet uncovered.”[1] Surat un-Noor 24:31

The Ruling on Asking a Student of Knowledge Due to the Absence of Scholars – Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan
Questioner:
Is it permissible to ask a student of knowledge due to the absence of a scholar in the country that I reside?
Shaykh Ṣāliḥ ibn Fawzān al-Fawzān:
Yes, fear Allāh ﷻ as much as you are able. Ask the best students of knowledge that you can find [who are] pious and upright. This is in regards to general issues, but as for major issues, divorce and so on, then not every person is asked in regards to such matters. [These issues must be] referred to religious courts or the Committee of Major Scholars.

[These issues must be] referred to religious courts or the Committee of Major Scholars.

Argumentation vs Action

It is reported that Ma’rûf Al-Karkhî – Allâh have mercy on him – said:
When Allâh chooses good for a person He opens the door to action for him, and closes the door to argumentation; and when Allâh chooses evil for a person he opens the door of argumentation and closes the door to action.

🔹Tests For The Believers
A persons life in this world is not stable. One passes through alternating periods of happiness and dismay, strength and weakness. wealth and povert, health and sickness etc. A true believer is one who maintains a clear level of Eemaan throughout the wordly fluctuations. He continues to remember Allah and ascribe the bounties to Him; and he turns to Him in submission, asking for relief from his affliction. This is described by the Messenger (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) who said:
" Indeed amazing are the affairs of a believer ! They are all for his benefit; If he is granted ease of living he is thankful; and this is best for him. And if he is afflicted with a hardship, he perseveres; and this is best or him." [ Muslim ]
And Allah (S) said (which means);
" Certainly, We shall test you with fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits; but give glad tidings to the patient - those who, when afflicted with calamity say, "Truly to Allah we belong, and truly to Him shall we return." it is those who will be awarded blessings and mercy from their Lord; and it is those who are the guided ones." [ 2:155-157 ]
Thus, a believer shows gratitude and thankfulness for all the wonderful blessings that Allah grants him. And he displays patience and submission during sickness and hardships, hunger, or other afflictions.
▪️HARDSHIPS BENEFIT THE BELIEVER
Allah has decreed that, in this life, hardships and disasters strike both believers and non-believers. For a non-believer, they are inconveniences that hinder him from proceeding with his normal involvment in the wordly life. For a believer, on the other hand, they are instances of rest and rememberance, tests that promise great rewards, and indications of atonment and expiation of sins. Regardless of how little is the harm that strikes a believer, it carries with it good news of forgivness and elevated rank ( in Jannah ). The Righteous Predecessors used to be pleased when a hardship afflicted them, seeing it as a token of Allah's forgivness and benevolence.

The Deen of these feminists, liberals, and modernists is to either deny the Text or to misinterpret the Text according to their feeble minds. If only they were to stop where the Salaf had stopped.
{So if they believe in the same as you (the Companions) believe in, then they have been [rightly] guided}
📚 [ Surah al-Baqarah (2): 137 ]
{And whoever opposes the Messenger after guidance has become clear to him and follows other than the way of the believers - We will give him what he has taken and drive him into Hell, and evil it is as a destination}
📚 [ Surah al-Nisaa (4): 115]
Al-Irbaadh bin Saariyah رضي الله عنه say: The Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليع وسلم delivered a moving speech to us which made our eyes flow with tears and made our hearts melt. We said: 'O Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليع وسلم! This is a speech of farewell. What did you enjoin upon us?' He صلى الله عليع وسلم said: ❝I am leaving you upon a bright (path) whose night is like its day. No one will deviate from it after I am gone but the one who is doomed. Whoever among you lives will see great conflict. I URGE YOU TO ADHERE TO WHAT YOU KNOW OF MY SUNNAH AND THE SUNNAH OF THE RIGHTLY-GUIDED CALIPHS, AND CLING STUBBORNLY TO IT. And you must obey, even if (your leader is) an Abyssinian leader. For the true believer is like a camel with a ring in its nose; wherever it is driven, it complies.❞
