Not A Leaf Falls Anywhere In The World Except That Allaah Is Aware

Allaah [سبحانه و تعالى] stated in the Qur’ān:

«...not a leaf falls, but he knows it.» [Surah al-An’aam: 59]

-

Imam al-Qurtuby stated regarding this Ayah:

❝Not a leaf falls except that Allah knows of it, i.e. from the leaves of the trees, [not a single leaf falls] except that Allah knows when it fell, where it fell, and how long it floated in the air [before falling to the ground itself].❞

[Tafsir Imam al-Qurtuby, (8/406) | Translated By Abu Muadh Taqweem Aslam]

-

Imam Ibn Kathir stated regarding the same section of the Ayah:

❝[Allah] knows of [all] movements even from inanimate objects, so what therefore do you think [is Allah’s knowledge] of the animals and especially those whom responsibility is upon and are legally obligated and bound by the Shariah from amongst the humans and jinn.❞

Stop sitting silent while zoning in on your problems!

Shaykh Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said: "Staying silent without recitation, nor dhikr nor duaa, is not worship, nor is it ordered for...rather it opens the door for the whispering of the Shaytan.
Therefore keeping busy with dhikr (mentioning Allah) is better than staying silent."

A Spine-Chilling Narration | The Punishment Of Arrogant Sinners

The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “If you see a slave being given by Allāh that which he loves of Dunyā while he persists upon disobedience towards Him, then it is only for him to be lured to (his punishment),

Then he ﷺ recited:
‘So, when they forgot (the warning) with which they had been reminded, We opened to them the gates of every (pleasant) thing, until in the midst of their enjoyment in that which they were given, all of a sudden, We took them to punishment, and lo! They were plunged into destruction with deep regrets and sorrows.’ • [al-Qur’ān 6:44].”

"Allāh gives the world to those whom He loves and to those whom He does not love, but He gives Īmān only to those whom He loves."

Al-Hilyah, 3/270, Translated by Abú Ruqayyah 'Abd us-Samad. Tafsīr Ibn Kathīr, Juz'20 (Part 20) : An-Naml 56 to Al-Ankaboot 45.

One of the Pious Predecessors (Salaf) said: “If you see Allaah grant blessings to a certain person, and then you see that person continuing in disobedience to Him, then know that this is from Allaah’s plan against him and that he is referred to by Allaah, the most Highs, saying: “We shall gradually seize them with punishment in ways they perceive not. And I respite them; certainly My plot is strong.” (Soorah al-A’raaf (7):182-183).

The Even Plots To Dishonor The Muslim Women, Through Intermingling and Indecent Dress, etc. -

Al-'Allaamah Saalih ibn Fawzaan Al-Fawzaan (Hafidhahullaah):

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: I have not left after me any fitnah (trial, test) more harmful to men then that caused by women

[i.e. women who are not righteous, obedient worshipers of Allaah]. [al-Bukhaaree & Muslim].

And he (ﷺ) said: Observe Taqwaa of Allaah regarding women. The first fitnah (test, trial) of the Children of Israa'eel

was regarding women. [Muslim]

Women are the foundation of the family and society. If they are corrupted, everything will be lost!

For those who sincerely respect the scholars of Sunnah, and especially those of us who always quote the Shaykh (Hafidhahullaah) when he says something that we like,

I ask that we take fifteen minutes of our precious time and LISTEN carefully to this important advice from al-'Allaamah Saalih al-Fawzaan (Hafidhahullaah).

Listen - with an open mind - reflect upon & consider carefully what is being said, then TAKE HEED to this serious warning!

May Allaah, ar-Raheem, shower His Mercy upon us, and open our hearts and minds to that which is coming to us from those whom He has commanded us to listen to, i.e. the Scholars [16:43]...Aameen!

*You Cannot Please Everyone*

A man said to al-Hasan al-Basri (rahimahullah): ‘The people sit around you so that they may find fault with you!’

So he said,
🎙‘Indeed, I encouraged my soul to aspire for Paradise so it aspired for it. Then I encouraged it to aspire for salvation from Hellfire and so it aspired for it. *Then I encouraged it to aspire for salvation from the people, but I didn’t find a way to that.*

🎙Indeed the people were not pleased with their Creator _although He provides for them_, *so how can they be pleased with another creation like themselves?’*

*Utilise your Time in Beneficial Matters & keep away from Qeela wa Qaal –*

Shaykh Uthaymeen(rahimahullah):
I advise you all to safeguard your time and to occupy yourselves in that which is beneficial. You should know that time is more precious than wealth, as Allaah – the Most Blessed, the Most High – said:

_“Until when death comes to him, he says: O my Lord! Give me respite so that I may then do righteous actions.”_ [Soorah al-Baqarah 2:333].

Time is such that when it departs it does not return, whereas wealth, when it departs, then it is possible to replace it. So time is of the utmost importance.

This is why I advise you to safeguard your time, and to occupy yourselves in that which benefits. Keep away from qeela wa qaal (gossiping) – that so and so said such and such about this and that person – because the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said in an authentic narration:

_“Indeed Allaah hates qeela wa qaal (gossip mongering), asking too many questions, and wasting one’s wealth.”_ [4]

Unfortunately, many of the youths – after returning to the correct path, and uniting their hearts and unifying their word – have become disunited and fragmented into many factions, and this is due to the whisperings of Shaytaan amongst them and the disuniting of their word.

So I advise the brothers to utilise your time in beneficial matters, and to keep away from qeela wa qaal. Indeed, time is like a sword; either you strike it, or it will strike you!

Uthman [Radia-Allahu 'Anhu]said: "Ten things are the greatest waste of time: a scholar whom no one asks about; knowledge that is not acted upon; sound advice that is not accepted; a weapon that is not used; a Masjid that is not prayed in; a Mus-haf that is not read from; wealth from which nothing is spent (in charity); a horse that is not ridden; knowledge of asceticism in the heart of one who is seeking worldly gain; and a long life in which no preparation is made for the journey (into the Hereafter)."

*How to Balance University Studies and Lessons with the Scholars*

🎓Shaykh Muḥammad ibn Hādī al-Madkhalī

Shaykh Muḥammad ibn Hādī al-Madkhalī: “This questioner asks: ‘How should we balance our University studies with our studies outside the University with the Mashayikh?’”

Shaykh Muḥammadibn Hādī (responds): “This is easy for the one that Allāh the Mighty and Majestic has made it easy for, and it involves the following:

*Firstly:* Remain consistent upon your lessons in the University and do not skip classes. Do not skip classes. Be consistent in your attendance of the lessons of the Mashāyikh in the University since attendance links the minds and hearts of many so the knowledge will likely remain with you for years; regardless of how much time passes, you will not forget it; it will remain in most cases.

*Secondly:* Reinforce your attendance with review every Thursday; everything that was covered during the week from Saturday until Thursday. And if you write, then when Thursday comes after breakfast you should sit down and summarize what was covered and write it out for every subject. You should summarize it so that it will be ready for the time of the examinations. So your summarizing is like your review.

And for the remaining days after each lesson go to the Mashāyikh after Asr, Maghrib and ʿIshāʾ. And when you return home, take an hour of the night to read through whatever is easy for you from your lessons and in this way you balance sitting with the Mashāyikh outside of the University with your lessons in the University.”
