🔹Nabeez' [Nabeedh] was one of the drinks consumed by the Holy Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). In his time, it was typically made with dates or raisins and water.

It is an alkalizing tonic, having the tendency to remove acidity from the stomach and digestive system and it also helps to remove other metabolic wastes from the body. It improves digestion as it's high in soluble fibre and it strengthens the memory. It assists the spleen function, liver, throat, chest and prostate, and so is particularly good for men. Nabeez will also benefit patients of Arthritis and elevated levels of Uric Acid (gout).

Making Nabeez is just as simple as soaking the dates (or raisins/sultanas) overnight and drinking the water in which they were soaked in the morning insha'Allah, but when it is embraced and honoured as one of the great Sunnahs of Nabi (sallallahu alayhi wasallam), it pulls down Shifa, blessings and mercy from the treasures of Allah Azzawajjal.

The idea behind soaking dates or raisins in water is so that they sweeten the water and become softened. Softened dates/raisins release their vitamins and minerals more easily and are easier to digest.

'Ajwa' are the best variety to use if making Nabeez with stoneless dates and 'Manaqqa' is the best variety of raisins for making it with raisins, but black raisins can also be used, those colours were not Created without reason, so it is always preferable to keep changing our diets with new colours and and trying new varieties.

After Isha prayer, soak around 100 grams of dates or raisins in 1 litre of drinkable / healthy water and keep the utensil covered with a plate. Ensure the water is kept cool.

Next morning after Fajr, you can drink the water and eat the soaked fruit as was the traditional method, or just use your blender (water + soaked fruit) to obtain a beautiful cloudy Nabeez. This is the method I have used for the smoothie recipe below.

And if you soak the fruit in morning, drink it in the evening. Nabeez should be consumed within 12 hours of soaking time, but if it is kept air tight inside the refrigerator, it will not spoil for 2-3 days insha'Allah. Serve cold Nabeez to your guests instead of tea, coffee, juices and sodas, and explain to them the beauty of the Sunnah of our beloved Mesenger (pbuh) and the superb health benefits.

Nabeez must never be left for more than 2-3 days, otherwise it may start to ferment, which is the start of the alcohol brewing process. This is haram and forbidden to consume.

Never mix raisins and dates together; their Nabeez should be made separately.🔹

🔹Nabeedh and Pomegranate smoothie.

Ingredients (serves 2)

50g dates, or raisins, soaked in 100ml fresh clean water. This time I used sultanas
250ml pomegranate juice.
50g frozen blueberries.
50g frozen strawberries.
50g frozen pomegranate kernels.

Blend all ingredients in a blender until the mixture becomes smooth and enjoy in the morning for breakfast or serve to your family and friends in hot weather.

Regarding the impermissibility of storing Nabeez for more than 3 days so as it does not become intoxicating - Ibn Abbas (radhi Allahu anhu) reported that Nabidh was prepared from raisins for Allah's Messenger (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) in the waterskin and he would drink it on that day and on the next day and the day following and when it was the evening of the third day, and he would drink it and give it to (his Companions) and if something was left over, he threw that away.

🔴From the signs of rudeness are:

🎓Ibn Masood رضي الله عنه said:

❝Four things are from rudeness:

🌟1) that a person urinates while standing;

🌟2) that a person prays while people are passing in front of him, and he does not have a Sutrah in front of him to act as a barrier between him and the people;

🌟3) that a person wipes the dust off his face (or forehead) while he is still in prayer;

🌟4) and that he hears the Muadhdhin (saying the Adhaan) but he does not repeat after him.❞

📚 [Sunan al-Kubraa of al-Baihaqee (3552) and Shaikh al-Albaanee graded it as “Saheeh” as a statement of Ibn Mas
ood رضي الله عنه in “al-Irwaa” (1/97)]
The Danger of a Munaafiq With a Sharp Tongue!

And he [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam] said: "What I fear most for my ummah is every hypocrite with a sharp tongue." This is the one who possesses eloquent impressive speech, and he is able to promote his dubious views, whilst falsifying the reality and delivering it to the people. Then the ignorant one thinks that it is knowledge and proof, whilst it is illusion and deceit.

*SAYING SO & SO IS LUCKY*

Question:

We hear a lot that so and so is lucky and that so and so has bad luck. What is the extent of the permissibility of having Eemaan in luck from not believing in it?

🅰

*‘It is upon a person to believe in the Qada🔹 of Allaah and His Qadr🔸*, so he is patient with hardship and grateful to Allaah and praises Him in prosperity,
it is upon a person to believe that Allaah disseminated Rizq (provisions) amongst His slaves, and Allaah made a distinction between them in their appointed times and their actions, _while they were fetuses in their mothers’ wombs_, and Allaah has a wisdom in that what He commands and destines.

🎈It is upon every Muslim to ascribe to Allaah -Subhanahu- blessings and the abundant (Rizq) provision which the creation is trialed with.

It afflicts superiority with destiny and being successful for it, and ascribe what afflicts him what is excluded from that to the Qada of Allaah and his Qadr, *and this is from implementing of Tawheed Ruboobeeyah*, and it is OBLIGATORY for a Muslim to distance himself from what defames his Aqeedah and his Tawheed

*..so goodness, blessings or relief from afflictions and punishment are NOT ASCRIBED TO LUCK AND LUCKY STARS indeed that is not allowed.*

🔸 *‘Al-Qadr* is the ‘ability of Allaah’ where He knew, wrote, willed and created all things in due proportion BEFORE and according to a precise measure. Allaah knew all that will happen BEFORE bringing it to existence and according to predestined proportions and measures which Allaah had written in a Book called _al-Lowhal Mahfoodh_ (The Preserved Tablet).

🔹 *Al-Qadaa’* is the perfectly precise execution and accomplishment of all things predestined to occur _exactly in accordance with Allaah’s previous knowledge, Writing and Will_.’

📣FASTING THE WHITE DAYS📢📣

Ayaam Al Abeed

▪️'Beed' is the plural of 'Abyad' which means white. Three days of 13,14 & 15 of lunar month are called "Ayaam Al abeed" for the reason that their nights are bright because of the full moonlight.

🍂Fasting is something which is just for Allaah, and Allaah will give multiple rewards without measure for it. The hadeeth says:

“[Allaah says:] Fasting is Mine and it is I Who give reward for it.” (Al-Bukhaari, Fath, no. 1904)🍂

🍂“The prayer (du’aa’) of the fasting person will not be refused.” (Reported by al-Bayhaqi, 3/345)

🍂“Whoever fasts one day for the sake of Allaah, Allaah will keep his face seventy years’ distance away from the Fire because of it.” (Reported by Muslim, 2/808)

🍂“Whoever fasts a day seeking the pleasure of Allaah and then dies [i.e. that is the last thing he does] will enter Paradise.” (Reported by Ahmad, 5/391)

This month, Safar 1439, the days fall on

YOU MUST LEAVE THE GATHERING!

"If you cannot forbid backbiting, you must leave the gathering. If you stay, you are sinning."

Ibn Bāz (Rahimahullah)
[Fatāwā al-Mar'ah, 22/298]
Ibn al-Jawzī رحمه الله:

“Know that the first DECEPTION of Iblees against mankind was to DRIVE THEM AWAY from KNOWLEDGE..”

● [تلبيس إبليس ١\٣٨٩]
"Eat together and do not eat separately, for the blessing is in being together.”

Imaam Ahmad said:

“Do not follow my opinion; neither follow the opinion of Maalik, nor Shaafi’i, nor Awzaa’i, nor Thawri, but take from where they took.” [Ibn al-Qayyim in I’laam, 2/302]
KNOWLEDGE IS NOT BASED ON A LOT OF NARRATING AND SPEECH RATHER ITS A LIGHT PLACE IN THE HEART OF THE SERVANT

” Indeed many of those from the later times have been tested with this, thinking that whoever’s speech, arguments, and conflicts are the most in matters of the religion, then he is more knowledgable than one who is not as such and this is pure ignorance. Look at the major companions and their scholars such as Abu Bakr, Umar, Ali, Mu’aadh, Ibn Mas’ud and Zaid bin Thaabit and how they were. Their speech was less than Ibn Abbaas and they were more knowledgable than him. Also the speech of the students of the companions were more than that of the companions and the companions were more knowledgable than them. Therefore knowledge is not (based on) a lot of narrating and speech, rather it is a light that is placed in the heart by which the servant understands the truth and distinguishes between the truth and falsehood. [The servant] expresses [this knowledge] by way of short expressions that reach the [desired] goals.”

A believer who doesn’t recite the Qur'an is like a date- no smell but has a taste. This means he has faith
but he doesn’t recite the Qur’an.

Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم(
said:

The believer who recites the Qur'an is like a citron whose fragrance is sweet and whose taste is delicious. A believer who does not recite the Qur'an is like a date-fruit which has no fragrance but
has a sweet taste. The hypocrite who recites the Qur'an is like basil whose fragrance is so sweet, but
its taste is bitter. The hypocrite who does not recite the Qur'an is like a colocynth which has no fragrance and its taste is bitter.”
