The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“Fasting in the winter is the easy prize”. (❶)
Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali (رحمه الله) commented:
“And the meaning of it being an easy prize is that it is a prize obtained without any battle or effort or hardship. So, the owner of this prize has been given it as a favor without any effort on his part.“
He also mentioned, “Winter is the best season for the believer because Allāh strengthens his practice in it by making worship easy for him.
This is because in winter, the believer can fast during the day with ease without suffering from hunger and thirst. The days are short and cold, and he therefore doesn’t feel the hardship of fasting.
As for praying at night in the winter due to its long nights, one can have his share of sleep and then get up to pray afterwards and recite all that he usually recites of the Qur’an while he has had enough sleep.
So, he can combine between the sleep that he needs and the usual amount of recitation of the Qur’an that he completes in a day. So, he fulfills the interests of both his religion and the comfort of his body.” (❷)

Your Entire Day Heart touching.
Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said
When a person spends his entire day with no other concern but Allah alone, Allah, may He be glorified, will take care of all his needs and take care of all that is worrying him; He will empty his heart so that it will be filled only with love for Him, free his tongue so that it will speak only in remembrance of Him (dhikr) and cause all his faculties to work only in obedience to Him. But if a person spends his entire day with no other concern but this world, Allah will make him bear its distress, anxiety and pain; He will leave him to sort himself out, and cause his heart to be distracted from the love of Allah towards the love of some created being, cause his tongue to speak only in remembering people instead of remembering Allah, and cause him to use his talents and energy in obeying and serving them. So he will strive hard, labouring like some work-animal, to serve something other than Allah… Everyone who turns away from being a true slave of Allah and obeying Him and loving Him will be burdened with servitude, love and obedience to some created being.
قال تعالى : { ومن يعْشُ عن ذكر الرحمن نقيض له شيطاناً فهو له قرين } .
Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): ‘And whosoever turns away (blinds himself) from the remembrance of the Most Beneficent (Allah), We appoint for him a shaytaan (devil) to be a qareen (intimate companion) to him.’

I like to share an short advice for benefit purposes, that Sh. Abder-Rahman Muhyi ud-Deen حفظه الله gave me when I asked him a question regarding seeking knowledge.
His advice: 'Be diligent and don't sleep, for indeed an abundance of sleeping and over-eating leads to laziness and being unsuccesful and then you won't be a student of knowledge, and increase in supplication and repentance'
لو يعلم المرء قدر العلم لم ينمِ
If the person knew the status of knowledge, he wouldn't sleep.

Whoever is struck by poverty and he goes around telling people about it, then his calamity will not be relieved. Whoever is struck by poverty and he complains to Allaah about it, Allaah will grant him relief sooner or later.

Those Who are Silent Have Drawn on Themselves the Sin of Concealment -Shaykh Bin Baz:
Shaykh Bin Baz (rahimahullaah) said:
If the people of the truth remained silent about clarifying it, then certainly those upon error would continue upon their errors, and others would follow them in error; likewise, those who are silent will have drawn on themselves the sin of concealment about which Allah (subhanahu) threatened them:
Indeed, those who conceal what We sent down of clear proofs and guidance after We made it clear for the people in the Scripture - those are cursed by Allah and cursed by those who curse, except for those who repent and correct themselves and make evident [what they concealed]. Those - I will accept their repentance, and I am the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful. [Surah al-Baqarah (2):159-160]
Indeed, Allah took a covenant with the scholars from the People of the Book to clarify the book for the people and not to conceal it, and he blamed them for throwing it behind their backs, and he warned us from following them. So, if Ahlus-Sunnah remained quiet about clarifying the mistakes of those who oppose the Qur'an and Sunnah, they have resembled the People of the Book whom Allah is angry with and those who are astray.[1]
Likewise, Shaykh Bin Baz (rahimahullaah) warned by name. He said: "Usamah b. Laden is from those who cause corruption on earth. He searches out evil, corrupt paths, and he exited from obedience to those in authority."[2]

Dangers of saying ‘If Only"
The Prophetﷺ
“Persist in what benefits you, seek Allaah’s help and do not behave helplessly. And if something happens to you do not say, “If only I had done (such and such), the such and such would have happened.’
Rather say, “Allaah has Decreed and He has done as He willed.” [Qadar Allaaha wa maa shaa fa ‘al] for ‘if only’ opens the door to the work of the shaytaan.”

THE SECRET OF SALAH LIES IN DEVOTION TO ALLAH
“The secret and the essence of salah is to devote oneself to Allah while praying -just as the slave should not turn his face away from the direction of the qiblah, he should also disallow his heart from giving attention to anything except his Lord.
Therefore the ‘abd should let the Ka`bah - the House of Allah - be the direction of his body and face, and let Allah be the direction of his heart and soul. Allah shall give His attention to His ‘abd in proportion to the level of his devotion and focus in salah. Thus, if he turns away from Allah (by becoming unmindful), He too shall turn away from him - truly, as you judge, shall you yourself be judged.”

Souls Are Like Recruited Troops...⬇️
Narrated Aisha (radiyallaahu-anhaa): I heard the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) saying,

Al-Haafidh Ibn Hajar (rahimahullaah) stated one of the meanings of this hadeeth in Fat-hul Baari that Al-Khattaabi (rahimahullaah) said:
This may indicate to mean similarity in good and evil, righteousness or corruption – the good one amongst the people is inclined towards one similar to him, and the evil one is similarly inclined towards the one similar to him.
Souls have an affinity with others in accordance with the nature in which they were created, good or evil. They will agree if their natures are similar, otherwise they will be at loggerheads…

Only then does he find comfort and joy in it, as the Prophet (sw) said: ‘… and my joy has been made in salaah.’” ( Ahmad, 3/128 Saheeh al-Jaami’, 3124).
Allaah has mentioned al-khaashi’eena wa’l-khaashi’aat (men and women who are humble (before their Lord)), and described this quality as one of the qualities of those who are chosen. He tells us that He has prepared for them forgiveness and a great reward (i.e., Paradise). [See al-Ahzaab 33:35].

‘’Every person starts his day as a vendor of his soul, either freeing it (i.e. from sin) or bringing about its ruin (i.e. through sin).” [1]
AbuBakr Ibn Ayyaash (rahimahullaah) said: A man once said to me when I was a young man: ‘’Save yourself in this worldly life as much as you can by (seeking) after the provision of the afterlife; for indeed the prisoner of the afterlife (i.e. the one condemned in the fire) will never be unfastened. ‘’ [2]

Mistakes & Advising
The senior scholar Rabee bin Hadi al-Mudkhali -hafidhullaah- said:
‘If your brother makes a mistake, advise him with gentleness and present him proofs and evidences through which Allaah will benefit him.
As for sitting waiting in ambush for someone to make a mistake and to rouse up hatred here and there that so-and-so did such-and-such. These are the ways of the Shayateen not the way of the people of the truth.’
