Even The Jinn Would Fear Imaam Ahmad Rahimahullah

A crazed girl was brought to al-Wathiq, so, he said:

“Send her to Ahmad bin Hambal.”

When she was brought to Ahmad, they asked him:

“Please cure this crazed girl for us!”

So, he began to speak to the jinni that had possessed this girl, saying:

“Get out of this girl! Get out of this girl!”

But it didn’t come out. He continued, saying:

“Get out, or I’ll (and Ahmad began to threaten the jinni),”

and the jinni came out, saying:

“O Ahmad! You feared Allah, so, everything is afraid of you! You feared Allah, so, everything is afraid of you!”

The jinni waited until Ahmad bin Hambal eventually died, and it returned to possess the girl once again. So, they brought the girl to a shaykh – who, as it was said, is more like us than Ahmad bin Hambal – and he began to speak to the jinni, saying:

“Get out, or I’ll…”

Suddenly, the jinni began to laugh, saying:

“Ahmad bin Hambal has died; Ahmad bin Hambal has died…”

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

“Have no love for the dunya, and Allah will Love you. Have no love for what is with the people, and the people will love you.“

Ibn al-Qayyim said:

Every Muslim should be warned of the oppression of:

‘I – My/Mine – I Possess’

Indeed these three words are what Iblees (Shaytan), Fir’awn and Qaroon were tried with.

Iblees said: ‘I am better than him’
Fir’awn said: ‘Is not mine the Kingdom of Egypt,’
Qaroon said: ‘This has been given to me only because of knowledge I possess.’

So regarding the saying of the Slave of Allaah ‘I’ – then the best that he can be described with is:
I am a slave who sins, makes mistakes, seeks forgiveness and recognizes this.

So regarding the saying of ‘My/Mine’ – and those statements similar to that is:
My sins, my crimes, my humbleness, my deprivation and submissiveness.

So regarding the saying of ‘I Possess’:
Forgive me for my mistakes and what I do intentionally, in jest, or in seriousness and I possess all these shortcomings.

Makkah is the city which Allāh swears by in the Qur’ān:
لَا أُقْسِمُ بِهَٰذَا الْبَلَدِ
"I swear by this city (Makkah) –
وَأَنتَ حِلٌّ بِهَٰذَا الْبَلَدِ
And you (O Prophet) are free of restriction in this city."

A Mid-Day Nap 💤

Scientists have long suspected that sleep has a significant impact on the brain's capacity for memory, but recent research has found that sleeping for an hour in the afternoon boosts brain power and dramatically increases its ability to learn new facts and tasks.

Having a nap after lunch acts as a regenerative aid, allowing the brain to 'file' away memories so that new information may be more easily retained.

The researchers discovered that those who stay awake all day are less likely to be able to learn new tasks as the day goes on, leading the experts to suggest that napping in the long-term may be conducive to warding off age-related degenerative mental diseases

“Take a siesta for the Shayaateen do not take a siesta”

(at-Tabaraani in al-Awsat and Abu Na’eem in at-Tibb, al-Albaani declared it hasan in Saheehul Jami’ no. 4307 or Volume 4 Page 174)
It is NOT from the Manhaj of the Salaf.pdf
BE ONE OF FOUR BUT NOT THE FIFTH!

Al-Hasan al Basri said: Abu al-Darda (r.a.) said:
كن عالماً أو متعلماً أومستمعاً أو محباً ولاتكن الخامسة فتهلك

"Be a scholar, or a student, or one who listens [to the scholars] or one who loves [the scholars and students] but do not be the fifth and be destroyed."

Humayd, the narrator from al-Hasan said, "I said to Hasan: And what is fifth?"

He said: "المبتدع" "The Innovator."

🔻Dua’ Is Answered on Wednesdays Between Dhuhr
And asr.

“Jabir Ibn ‘Abdullah (may Allâah be pleased with him) said, “ The Messenger of Allâah(peace and blessings be upon him) supplicated to Allâah in this Masjid (Masjid Al-Fath) on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. His dua was answered on Wednesday between the prayers of Dhuhr and Asr. Jabir(may Allâah be pleased with him)said,” There wasn’t anything that was crucially important for me to have solved, except I called on Allâah during that hour of the day between Dhuhr and Asr knowing He would answer.”

Graded Hasan by Shaykh Al-Albani(May Allâah have mercy upon him) in Saheeh Adab Al-Mufrad.

Shaykh Hussain Awayaasha(may Allâah preserve him )said in his explanation of Saheeh Adab Al-Mufrad.“The Messenger of Allâah (peace and blessings be upon him)supplicated to Allâah in this Masjid(Masjid Al-Fath )on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday”

Masjid Al-Fath: is a Masjid located on the eastside at the top of a mountain stump. A person can ascend to this Masjid by two routes; one on the east and the other on the north side. This is the general meaning of Masjid al-Fath. It has also been said that Masjid Al-Fath is Masjid Ahzab or a Masjid on High ground. [ Fadl 2/174]

“His dua was answered on Wednesday between the prayers of Dhuhr and Asr” .

Shaykh Al-Albani(may Allâah shower him with mercy) commented on this saying: "If this companion wouldn’t have narrated to us that the prophet(peace and blessings be upon him)made Dua to Allâah during this hour we wouldn’t have known. The person present witnesses what the absent person doesn’t. This ahadeeth has significant meaning; since Jabir narrated the information when exactly his dua was answered. And this shows that the Dua for the Messenger(peace and blessings be upon him)was answered at that hour during Wednesday. Consequently Jabir began to do that same thing he saw Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) do on Wednesday between Dhuhr and Asr. "

End of Quote from the book.

Ibn Taymeeyah (728H) said in his book “ Iqtedahus Siratul Mustaqeem (1/433),

” A group of our companions and other people act by this hadeeth. They see to it that they call on Allâah during this time; as narrated by Jabir(may Allâah be pleased with him). The place where Jabir made Dua to Allâah isn’t mentioned, but the time period in which he did is mentioned."

【 The Sunnah for the Fajr Prayer 】
■ Prophet -sw said: ❝ Two Rakat for Sunnah of Fajr prayer are better than the Dunyaa and everything that is in it.’[4] ❞
1 – Giving Attention to the Two Rakat Sunnah for the Fajr Prayer
2 – Shortening the Sunnah of the Fajr Prayer
3 – Messenger -sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam- would Recite in the Two Rakah ‘Surah Ikhlas equivalent to a third of the Qur’aan, and Al-Kafiroon equivalent to a fourth of the Qur’aan
4 – Recommendation to Pray the Two Rakah at Home
5 – Lying down on the Right Hand side after the Two Rakah Sunnah of the Fajr
The Messenger -sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam- used to talk after the two Rakah Sunnah for Fajr

7 – The Dislike for the Worshipper to begin Praying Two Rakah Sunnah for the Fajr After the Muadhin began the Iqama for the prayer.
8 – Praying two Rakah Sunnah for the Fajr Prayer after the Obligatory Prayer if You Cannot Pray Before it

.
From Ayesha –Radi Allaahu anha– who said:

The Sunnah for the Fajr Prayer

http://salaf-us-saalih.com2014/04/05/the-sunnah-for-the-fajr-prayer/
Salaatul Duha (forenoon prayer) :

🚩Anas ibn Malik (radi Allahu Anhu) said, The Prophet (sallahu Alayhi wa sallam) said, "Whoever prays Fajr in congregation ,after that sits and remembers Allah until the sunrises, following this he prays two rakah earns the reward of Hajj or Umrah."

Collected by At-Tirmithi (579) Imam At-Tirmithi and Al-Albani (May Allah mercy on them both) graded this hadeeth as Hasan. 586

•Imam At-Tirmithi noscriptd a section in his Jami called, "The Recommendation to sit the Masjid after Fajr until sunrise."
•Out of the six books of Hadeeth on Imam At-Tirmithi narrated this hadeeth
•The two Rakah here are referred to as Salatul Duha or Ishraq.

🚩Is the woman included for this reward if she prays in her house?

Shaykh Abdul Aziz bin Baz (may Allaah have mercy on him) said," If a woman prays in her Musalla then after Fajr remembers Allah by Thikr or reading the Quran until sun rise then offers two Rakah she gets reward mentioned in the hadeeth. (Majmu Fatawa vol 11)

Shaykh Muqbil (may Allah rest him in Jannah) said, "Yes she is. If a woman prays fajr in her house and sits and remembers Allah until sunrise."

Narrated ‘abdu ALlaah ibn ‘Umar (رَضِيَ الله عَنْهُمَا) that the messenger of Allaah (صَلَّى للَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) said:

“He who prays a-Doha, fasts three days every month and does not abandon Witr neither travelling nor at residence, will have the reward of a martyr written for him”

[atTabarii in Muyamma’ azZawa’ed (241/2), declared saheeh by sheikh al-Albani (rahimahu Allaah) in sahih a-Ttarghib wa Ttarhib, no. 595]

Note: aDoha starts when the sun raises the length of a spear (approximately 10 to 20 minutes after sunrise) and ends about 15 to 30 minutes before the adhan for duhr, it is prayed in pairs of rakats and can consist of at least two, to as many rakat as you would like beyond that.
