The meaning of “Tabaarak Allaah” and “mubaarak” – Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan Hafidahullah
“Tabaarak Allaah”: means: tremendously great is the One whose actions are these, He the Perfect and Most High. And whose Ability is such and these are the things which He has created, He the Exalted and Most High.
And, “Tabaarak”: is a verb which is used specifically for Him, He the Perfect, so it cannot be applied to anyone besides Him. And al-Barakah (blessing) it means abundance of good and its increase, and the blessings which come from Allaah the Majestic and Most High do not end. As for a created being, it cannot be said about him, “tabaarak”. Rather it can be said to him, “mubaarak” meaning, “May you receive blessing”, meaning may Allaah put blessing into him and make him blessed. And all blessing is from Allaah the Perfect and Most High.

⚠ *Ruling on saying: I supplicate to Allah but He does not respond*
Q: When my Dua' (supplication) is not answered, I get angry. I say some words against myself and against Allah such as: _O Lord, why do you not respond to my Dua_'! I also say words that an angry person may speak when they feel their Dua' is not answered. What is the ruling on this regard?
🅰: You have to control and take account of yourself when the answer is delayed because Allah is All-Wise and All-Knowing. He may delay the answer for many reasons *so that you may increase your Dua', express your needs to your Lord, beseech Him and humble yourself before Him.*
🌀In this way you may have what is good; numerous benefits and the healing and softness of your heart which is BETTER for you than the need itself.
🌀He may delay it for other reasons including great wisdom, so when the answer is delayed DO NOT BLAME YOUR LORD and do not say: "why, why me, O Lord!"
🔙Go back to yourself and search for the sins and mistakes which are the reason for the delay of the answer.
There may be other things which delay the answer which may bring about good for you. *So, do not accuse your Lord*, but
*.. you must blame yourself and look to your actions and past in order to reform yourself, execute the ordinances of your Lord, _worship Him with sure knowledge_, FULFILL His commands, AVOID His prohibitions and ABIDE BY HIS LIMITS.*
🔊Know that Allah (Glorified be He) is All-Wise, All-Knowing and He may delay the answer a long time as He delayed the answer of Yaqub (Jacob) to return Yusuf (Joseph, peace be upon him).
🔊He may delay the answer for a great lesson, give you _better_ than what you have asked, or divert evil away from you.
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him):
🎙 _Any Muslim who supplicates to Allah in a Dua' which contains no sin or breaking of kinship, Allah will give them one of three things_:
📍either their Du’a will be immediately answered or,
📍it will be saved for them in the hereafter, or
📍 it will turn away an equivalent amount of evil (from them)”.
The companions said “...So we will ask for more.”
He replied,
*“Allah is more (generous)*."
↪The Hadith explains that Allah may delay the answer until the Hereafter and not grant it in this life for great wisdom as this might be better and useful for the person.
↪Allah may divert a great evil away from the person and this will be better than answering the Dua', or He may grant it to them immediately.
⚠So, you must think well of Allah and continue to supplicate to Him because Dua' contains a lot of good for you. You have to blame yourself, look at your own condition, fulfill the Commands of your Lord, and know that He is All-Wise, All-Knowing.
*He may answer or delay it for a reason, and He may give you better than what you asked*.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) stated in the Sahih (authentic) Hadith:
🎙 _Your supplication is answered unless you become impatient. _
One says: I invoked Allah many times but He did not respond. Then, he despair and abandons Du'a'. So, you should not feel hopeless or leave Dua'. Keep up Dua', beseech Allah, bring yourself to account, and avoid sins and vices.
🌀You should also seek the times in which one's Dua' is answered; such as
🔅the end of the night,
🔅between Adhan (call to prayer) and Iqamah (call to start the Prayer) and
🔅at the end of Salah, before Salam (final salutation to end Salah) and during prostration.
All these are from the reasons for Dua's being answered. You have to be attentive when supplicating in order to persist and to call on Him with a present and attentive heart.
☝🏼Your earnings must be lawful because *incurring sins is one of the reasons for Dua' not being answered.*

🌅 *THE VIRTUE OF THE EARLY MORNING AND ITS BLESSING*
In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy
The Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: “O Allah, bless my people in their early mornings.” When he sent out a detachment or an army, he sent them at the beginning of the day. Sakhr was a merchant, and he would send off his merchandise at the beginning of the day; and he became rich and had much wealth.

This shows the importance of this time period and the greatness of the blessings and goodness with it…
The Salaf used to dislike sleeping during this time, in order not to waste it in laziness and weakness…
Ibnul Qayyim (rahimahullaah) said that the Salaf disliked sleeping between after Fajr prayer and Sunrise because it is a time in which great benefit is obtained. And even when they stayed up late at night (i.e. in worship), they still stayed up until after sunrise, for indeed it is the early part of the day and its beginning time, the time in which provision descends, the time in which one receives his portion of provision and the time in which blessings are obtained….
