The famous oft-quoted incident that `Umar Ibn al-Khattaab hit his sister which eventually led to him to accept Islaam is "Dha`eef"

Why is it that throughout the year we see people reciting:
{He (Allaah) begets not, nor was He begotten} [Surah al-Ikhlaas (112):3]
Yet they go and celebrate/join/wish on the Eid of those who say that "Allaah has begotten a son"??!
*⃣*⃣*⃣*⃣*⃣*⃣*⃣*⃣*⃣*⃣*⃣*⃣*⃣*⃣*⃣*⃣*⃣
When we see Muslims asking questions like: "Can we wish/celebrate with the Kuffaar on their pagan festivals?", or when they are more concerned about: "They will get offended if I do not wish them".
It means that they did not grasp the essence of this Deen! They did not understand Tawheed.

*_Why do we call ourselves Salafi and what is the meaning of the word ‘salafi’? The term ‘salaf’, the origin of this word سَلَف with the three arabic letters: “seen, laam, faa” linguistically points towards what has preceded._*
This is found in the Quran in many verses:
فَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ سَلَفًا وَمَثَلًا لِّلْآخِرِينَ
And We made them a precedent (as a lesson for those coming after them), and an example to later generations. (Az-Zukhruf:56)
*The Messenger – Sallallahu alaihi wa Salam – said to his daughter Fatima (close to time of his death): Indeed I am a blessed ‘salaf’ (Predecessor) for you”*

When they said "Allāh has begotten a son"
And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]."
Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing.
Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins,
That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah).

📌Pleasure of Allāh vs. Anger of the people
🎙The Messenger of Allāh [ﷺ] said:
《مَنِ الْتَمَسَ رِضَى اللَّهِ بِسَخَطِ النَّاسِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، وَأَرْضَى النَّاسَ عَنْهُ، وَمَنِ الْتَمَسَ رِضَا النَّاسِ بِسَخَطِ اللَّهِ سَخَطَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ، وَأَسْخَطَ عَلَيْهِ النَّاسَ.》
💠Whoever seeks the Pleasure of Allāh while angering the people will have Allāh pleased with him, who shall make the people pleased with him [anyway].

The scholar, the ruler, and your brother
It is reported that ‘Abdullâh b. al-Mubârak – Allâh have mercy on him – said:
It is right that an intelligent person does not undervalue three [types of people]: the scholars, the [Muslim] rulers, and [his Muslim] brothers.
Whoever undervalues the scholars will lose his afterlife, whoever undervalues the rulers will lose his worldly life, and whoever undervalues his brothers loses his good character and conduct.

Hudhayfah (Raḍiya 'llāhu ʿan-hu) said,
❝The first thing you will lose of your religion will be khushoo' (meaning calmness, serenity, tranquillity, dignity and humility) and the last thing you will lose of your religion will be the prayer, and it is well possible that there is no good in a person who prays; and soon will come a time when you shall enter a large Masjid and not see a single person with khushoo'.❞
