The Messenger of Allaah [ﷺ] said:

«أحب للناس ما تحب لنفسك»

❝Love for the people what you love for yourself.❞

[ Knowledge should alter our days and nights ]

🎙Sufyan ibn Uyanah may Allah have mercy upon him said:

If my day is similar to the day of the foolish and my night is like the night of the ignorant, then what will I do with the knowledge I have written?!
(Manners of the Scholars by Aajoori—44)

🎓Shaykh Abdur Razzaq Al Badr: This is a tremendous admonition which the studentof knowledge must pay attention to.

This was the condition of the Salaf—may Allahhave mercy upon them—knowledge was manifest upon them in their worship, their manners, and their interactions. As Al Hassan Al Basri—may Allah have mercy uponhim said: “It was such that when a person would seek knowledge, it was soon visible in his eyesight, his humility, his tongue, his hand, his prayer, and his abstinence.”

💭 Women Going To The Masjid
●∽∽∽∽∽∽∽∽•∽∽∽∽∽∽∽∽●
It is legislated for the woman to perform her prayers in her house, for this is from the prescribed Islamic duties (connected to the affairs of) the household.
The prayer of the woman in her house is better than her prayer in the mosque of her people, and her prayer in the mosque of her people is better than her prayer in the mosque of the Messenger of Allah (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) as has been established in the hadeeth. And for that reason the obligation of the Juma’ah prayer is lifted from her.

She is allowed to go to the mosque (whilst observing) the following rulings

[ 1] 🖋 She is safe from being a trial and that she is not put to trial herself.

[2] 🖋 Her presence does not result in the violation of an Islamic rule.

[3] 🖋 She is neither crowded with men in the road nor in the Mosque.

[4] 🖋 She goes out with a neutral smell and not perfumed.

[5] 🖋 She goes out with the hijaab and not displaying her beautification.

[6] 🖋 There should be a specific door for the women in the mosque, through which they enter and exit the mosque, as established in the hadith in sunan abee daawood and other than it.

[7] 🖋 The rows of the women are behind that of the men.

[8] 🖋 The best rows for the women are the back rows as opposed to that of the men.

[9] 🖋 And if the Imaam (adds something in the salaah that is not to be part of it or leaves something that should be part of it unintentionally), then the men are to say subhaanallaah and the woman is to clap.

[10] 🖋 The women are to exit the mosque before the men. And it is required of the men to wait until the women are dispersed, as (reported) in the hadeeth of Umm Salamah (radiyallaahu-anhaa) in Saheeh Al Bukhaaree.

What is the prophesied Fitna that will enter every Muslim home?
Answered by #ShaykhSaalihAlFawzan

📖 Explanation:
Student: The author (Imam Bukhari ) Rahimahullah said:
The chapter of the portents of the hour.

🎓Shaykh Fawzan: The portents of the hour means the signs of the hour (Day of Judgment)

Student: Collected in Al Bukhari Narrated from `Auf bin Malik he said: I
went to the Prophet ّ ّ during the battle of Tabuk while he was sitting in a tent made from skin.

🎓Shaykh Fawzan: ‘From skin’ means from leather.

Student: He said: ‘Count six signs before the approach of the Hour’.
🎓Shaykh Fawzan: Six incidents which will occur before the hour (Day of Judgment)

Student: ‘My death.’
🎓Shaykh Fawzan: This is the first sign; the death of the Messenger of Allah ّ
ّ .

Student: ‘And then the conquest of Baytul-Maqdis’
🎓Shaykh Fawzan: And then the conquest of Baytul-Maqdis. And it was conquered during the era of Umar .

Student: ‘And then a plague that will afflict you as the plague that afflicts sheep.’
🎓Shaykh Fawzan: This is referring to a plague—and we seek refuge in Allah. This is a plague during which many will die.

Student: ‘And then an increase of wealth’
🎓Shaykh Fawzan: And then an increase of wealth. Increase in wealth, this is a Fitna and this is from the signs of the hour. And the increase of wealth in the hands of the people is from the signs of the hour.

Student: ‘To such an extent that even if one is given one hundred Dinars, he will not be satisfied.’
🎓Shaykh Fawzan: A small amount will not suffice him. A hundred Dinars will not satisfy him, rather he will want more. He will not be content.

Student: ‘And then an affliction which no Muslim house will escape.’
🎓Shaykh Fawzan: This is a problem. This is a universal, prevalent Fitna. It will enter the homes. And Allah knows best, I view it to be the media outlets present now; and the internet. Who knows where this evil is transmitted to? It enters upon the people in their homes. You didn’t go to it, but it came to you. You are on your bed; and this idol which is next to you, (without you putting forth any effort) it will bring all the evil
and destruction right to you. This is Fitna!

Student: ‘And then a truce between you and Bani Al-Asfar.
🎓Shaykh Fawzan: A truce between you and Rome. Bani Al –Asfar are the Romans. This is a truce between the Muslims and Rome. They will end all fighting between them.

Student: ‘They will betray you’.
🎓Shaykh Fawzan: Rome will betray the truce which is between you and them.

Student: ‘And they will attack you under eighty flags. Under each flag will be twelve thousand soldiers.
🎓Shaykh Fawzan: They will betray the truce and attack the Muslims. This is because betrayal and deception is from the nature of the disbelievers, while fulfilling the trust is from the nature of the Muslims.

Reflect over this.

Imaam Adh-Dhahabee:

“May Allaah have mercy over the person who speaks little, reads the Quraan, weeps over his lost time, constantly gazes into (saheeh) Bukhaaree and (saheeh) Musilm, and worships Allaah before he is surprised by death.”

[At-Tadhkirah, 2/80]
The Prophet Sallahu alaihi wa sallam said,
“A person who gains knowledge only to gain pride among scholars, or defeat the foolish or to turn the heads of people towards himself, Allah will make him enter hell.”

[NARRATED BY IBN UMAR (RA) ; RECORDED IN IBN MAJAH AUTHENTICATED (HASAN) BY ALBANI IN SAHEEH AL JAAMI 6382]

The Prophet Sallahu alaihi wa sallam said,
“Two hungry wolves, if let loose among a flock of sheep, will not do more damage than that which is caused by a man's avarice for wealth and status to his religion.”

[NARRATED BY KA’AB BIN MALIK (RA); RECORDED IN MUSNAD AHMED, TIRIMIDHI : 180, AUTHENTICATED (SAHEEH) BY ALBANI IN SAHEEH AL JAAMI 5620]

The Messenger of ALLAH ﷺ said:

"Treat your sick by giving Sadaqah (charity)."
[Saheeh al-Jaami’ (3358) - declared Hasan by Al-Albani]

"There is no person who is afflicted with a wound on his body, and he gives sadaqah due to that, then ALLAH عز وجل expiates from him the like of what he gave in charity."
[Musnad Ahmad - declared Sahih by Al-Albani - Saheehah (2273)]

One of the salaf mentioned:

"I became sick with a very dangerous illness, and a righteous neighbour of mine saw me and said: 'utilize the saying of the messenger of ALLAH ﷺ - 'Treat your sick by giving Sadaqah'..

It was summer time so i purchased many watermelons. A group of poor people and children gathered and ate from them, they then raised their hands to ALLAH عز وجل and made dua' for me to be cured. I swear by ALLAH جل وعلا , I did not reach the morning except that i regained complete health by the permission of Allah"
[Seerah 'alaam 18/44 - Tareekh Al-Islam]

We often advise patients that whilst they are being treated with Ruqyah, to rub olive oil (which has been recited upon) over their entire body every night for 1 week, and to give any amount of sadaqah daily for those 7 days seeking a cure by the permission of ALLAH.

The stories of success via this method are many alhamdullilah.

Who is Considered a “Strong Believer”?

On the authority of Aboo Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him), the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam) said:

“The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allaah than the weak believer, while there is (still) goodness in both. Guard over that which benefits you, seek Allaah’s Assistance, do not be weak (by passing up chances to do good), and if a trial befalls you, don’t say ‘Had I only done such and such, this would not have happened,’ but rather say, ‘Qadarullaahi wa maa shaa’ fa’al’ (This is Allaah’s Decree, and He does what He wills), for verily the phrase ‘Had I only…” makes way for the work of Shaytaan.”

----------------------------------------------------
When one looks at the wording of the hadeeth itself, he finds something very interesting. Notice that the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam) started by saying, what means, “The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allaah than the weak believer, while there is good in both…” and then it may seem like the subject of the hadeeth shifts to something else. Rather, this hadeeth is an encouragement to be a strong believer from the beginning to the end!

After informing us about the superiority of the strong believer, the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam) detailed some ways to become a strong believer, giving us four pieces of advice, all of them related to eemaan:

1. Guard over what benefits you
2. Seek Allaah’s Assistance
3. Don’t lend yourself to things devoid of benefit
4. Affirm the qadr of Allaah in times of calamity, and do not give in to the Shaytaan by questioning what would have happened had you taken a different course of action.

All these things are matters that will increase you in eemaan, thus making you a stronger believer. So the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam) was not moving into another topic here, rather he was giving us some actual steps to take that will help us become strong believers.

So the first source of explanation of this hadeeth, the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam) himself, already answered these natural questions that arise: “What is a strong believer?” and “How do I become one?” It’s all here in this short and concise hadeeth!

The strong believer is the one who guards over that which benefits him, seeks Allaah’s Aid, doesn’t lend himself to affairs devoid of benefit, and understands firmly that what happens is from Allaah’s Qadr (Divine Will), saying, “Qadarullaahi wa maa shaa’ fa’al“, among the other things that his eemaan would necessitate.

Harming A Muslim

Al-Fudayl bin Ayaad said:
«والله ما يحلُّ لك أن تؤذي كلبا ولا خنزيرا بغير حق فكيف تؤذي مسلما؟!»
❝I swear by Allaah it is not permissible for you to unnecessarily harm a dog or a pig, so how can you harm a Muslim?!❞
[Seera A’alam An-Nubala, (8/327) | Translated By Abbas Abu Yahya Miraath al-Anbiyya]
Guard 3 Characteristics

Prophet Muḥammad Ṣallallāhu-'Alaihi Wa Sallam said:

“If you love that Allāh and His Messenger love you, then guard three characteristics:

• Truthful speech
• Fulfilling trust
• & Being good to your neighbour.”

Words of Wisdom

By Shaikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (Rahimahullah)

Worship is founded upon the Legal Law and following it, not upon ones base desires and innovation.

[From the book: ‘The Relief From Distress’]
Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله mentioned:

“… Optional knowledge is better than the excellence of extra and optional worship. This is because the benefit of knowledge is general, it benefits its possessor and it benefits the rest of the people as well. Whereas the benefit of worship is particular to the person who does that worship. Also because with the scholar, his benefit and knowledge remains after his death. Whereas worship is cut off from him at his death.”

Beware of procrastination, for it is one of devil’s strongest weapons – Ibn al Jawzi
📚
Devil’s Deception of People by giving them High Hopes (of living long)
Many Jews and Christians contemplated joining Islam, but Iblis convinced them to procrastinate saying: “Do not rush, look more into the issue.” Until they die as non-Muslims.
He also causes the sinner to procrastinate seeking repentance. A poet said:
“Do not rush into committing a sin,
and then procrastinate repenting.”
Iblis makes those seeking righteousness feel lazy, and he causes those who are serious to procrastinate. He convinces a jurist to rest instead of going over his lesson again. And convinces a worshipper who had woken up to pray at night that he still has a lot of time. Iblis tries to make people lazy procrastinators, and to make them have hope (of a long life). A disciplined person must take advantage of time, and never procrastinate. That which is feared can never be trusted, and that which passes can never be brought back again. The main reason for doing less good and more evil is relying on the hope of a long life, this is because a person continues to procrastinate performing good deeds and refraining from evil deeds.
He who hopes to wake up in the morning will not do much at night, and he who hopes to travel during the day will travel much at night. However, he who sees death to be near works hard during his life. Allah’s Messenger (Sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Perform prayer as if you were departing.” [1]
Some of the Salaf said: “Beware of procrastination, for it is one of devil’s strongest weapons.”
A disciplined person prepares for his journey, while a procrastinator doesn’t. So when it comes time to travel the disciplined person feels happy while the procrastinator feels that he is in trouble. This is how people are. Some are alert, so when the Angel of Death comes they do not feel guilty. Others are not disciplined, so they feel the agony when it comes time to travel.
If procrastination is part of your nature then repelling it becomes difficult. But when one knows that he has a persistant enemy he will always be on guard.
We ask Allah to give us safety from the enemy’s cunning, the devil’s fttnah’s and the evils of ourselves and the dunyd. Indeed He is near and responsive.
