Donot break Promises/covenants/agreements.
-
It was narrated that Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib(رضي الله عنه) said: The Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said: “Whoever breaks the covenant/agreement/promise of a Muslim, upon him be the curse of Allah, the angels and all the people, and Allah will not accept any obligatory or naafil act of worship from him.”(Sahih Bukhari, 1870; Muslim, 1370).
Ali Ibn Abee Taalib said:

Neither take an idiot as a close companion nor a wicked sinner.

As for the idiot, he brings shame upon you when he enters & when he exits.

As for the wicked sinner, he beatifies his deeds for you & wishes that you're like him.

The Age Of Fitnah

Imām Muqbil Raḥimahullāh said:
“We are in the age of trials (Fitan) and nothing can save us from these trials except for ALLĀH Subḥānahū Wa Ta'ālā and after that BENEFICIAL KNOWLEDGE.”

[قمع المعاند ٢/٣٧٠]
Imaam Maalik bin Anas 179 AH said to a young man from Quraysh,

يا ابن أخي تعلم الأدب قبل أن تتعلم العلم

“O son of my brother, learn manners before learning knowledge.”

❝If it were not for three things I wish not to remain in the Dunya:

1. Placing my face down in prostration to my creator across the alternation of the day and the night, preparing for the [true] life to come.

2. Experiencing thirst during the hottest part of the day [due to fasting].

3. And Sitting with a people who select and choose their words [i.e. are careful with their speech] the way fruit is selected.❞

Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen (رحمه الله) said:

It is obligatory on the student of knowledge to be careful of thinking about others a bad assumption, like saying; this person didn't give sadaqah except for riyaa' (show off), this student didn't ask this question except to show off in order that he lets himself known that he is a student that understands.

🔥Avoid personal attacks even if what is being said is true!

🎓Al-San`aanee (rahimah-ullaah) said:

❝Look at the Wisdom of Allaah تبارك وتعالى and His love for gathering the hearts together, and how He تعالى has forbidden Nameemah (gossiping) – EVEN IF (WHAT IS BEING SAID) IS TRUE – because it corrupts the hearts, and gives rise to hostility and estrangement.

And He تعالى has permitted lies – even though telling lies is Haraam (forbidden) – if it is for the purpose of gathering the hearts, and generating the love between them, and for getting rid of the hostility.❞

📕 And in the Hadeeth, the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
❝Shall I tell you about the most evil ones from amongst you?❞
They (the Companions) said: “Of course.” He صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
❝Those who go around with Nameemah; they make enmity between friends and they seek problems for the innocent.❞

Money is the idol of this ummah, and people worship it:

Ḥasan Al-Baṣri (Rahimahullāah): “For every Ummah is an idol which is worshipped and the idol of this Ummah is Deenār and Dirham (i.e wealth).”

What is Bid'ah?

Shaykh Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Wahhāb al-Wassābī defined al-Bid’ah as:

❝Every belief, action, or statement newly invented after the death of the Prophet [ﷺ] with the intention of worship and getting closer to Allāh, and it is not indicated by any proof from the Book [i.e. the Qur’ān], and not from the Sunnah and not from the actions of the Salaf [i.e. the Sahābah].❞

[Sharh al-Jadīd ‘Alā al-Qawl al-Mufīd Fī Adillah at-Tawhīd, (Page: 348-389) | Translated By Abū Ruqayyah 'Abd us-Samad]
Instead of suppressing one's anger, people usually boasts about their anger and be like, "Don't mess with me." Listen up, Sister or Mister! Arrogance can block your entry into Jannah, no matter how pious or righteous you are. Be'ithnillaah.

Ibn Al-Jawzee (Rahimahullāah):
“The main reason for anger is usually arrogance."

🚫 *A Great Danger* 🚫

Sh. Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān Hafiẓahullāh mentioned the story of a man who read Bukhārī on his own and he came across the Ḥadeeth:

الحبة السوداء شفاء من كل داء

'Blackseed has cure for every illness.'

However he read الحبة السوداء (blackseed) as الحية السوداء (black snake), thus he went, bought a black snake, slaughtered it, ate it and afterwards died from its poisoning, so had he asked the scholars he would've saved himself,

Hence merely studying without returning to Ahlul-'Ilm (for its understanding) is a great danger so look to how many pretenders of knowledge have killed themselves (due to self-amazement).

● [طرق تعلم العلم ص ١٠]
Once, Abu Salamah came back after he was with Allah’s Messenger and said: I heard Allah’s Messenger recite a statement that made me delighted. He said:(No Muslim is struck with an affliction and then says Istirja when the affliction strikes, and then says: O Allah! Reward me for my loss and give me what is better than it,’ but Allah will do just that.) Umm Salamah said: So I memorized these words. When Abu Salamah died I said Istirja and said: “O Allah! Compensate me for my loss and give me what is better than it.” I then thought about it and said, “Who is better than Abu Salamah” When my Iddah (the period of time before the widow or divorced woman can remarry) finished, Allah’s Messenger asked for permission to see me while I was dyeing a skin that I had. I washed my hands, gave him permission to enter and handed him a pillow, and he sat on it.

He then asked me for marriage and when he finished his speech, I said, “O Messenger of Allah! It is not because I do not want you, but I am very jealous and I fear that you might experience some wrong mannerism from me for which Allah would punish me. I am old and have children.” He said: (As for the jealousy that you mentioned, Allah the Exalted will remove it from you. As for your being old as you mentioned, I have suffered what you have suffered. And for your having children, they are my children too.) She said, “I have surrendered to Allah’s Messenger.” Allah’s Messenger married her and Umm Salamah said later, “Allah compensated me with who is better than Abu Salamah: Allah’s Messenger .’

Sins prevents you from performing Tahajjud

“We have been made incapable of performing qiyaam al-lail.”
He replied, “Restrict your sins!”

Al-Imām ibn Rajab al-Hanbali رحمه الله said:

“Whoever is mindful of Allāh when he is young and strong, Allāh will take care of him when he is old and has become weak, and will bless him with good hearing, eyesight, strength and reasoning. One of the scholars who lived beyond the age of a hundred years and enjoyed good strength and reasoning, jumped up in a lively manner one day and was asked about that. He said: “I kept these physical faculties from sin when I was young and Allāh has preserved them for me now that I am old.”
