The Responsibilities of a Messenger
🌐https://www.troid.org/brief-benefits/2530-benefit-the-responsibilities-of-a-messenger
The definition of a messenger,
linguistically, is one who was sent with a message.
Islamically, a messenger is a man from the children of Ādam who Allāh has sent down revelation to regarding His legislation.
The responsibilities of a messenger — as found in the Qurʾān and authentic Sunnah — are:
1⃣ That he is a witness for and against the creation. He is a witness for them in that which they actualize of his Sunnah and the legislation of Allāh which he came with. He is a witness against them in that which they don’t actualize and what they abandon of his Sunnah and the legislation of Allāh.
2⃣ To give glad tidings and warnings. The glad tidings of Paradise are given to the obedient and the warnings — which are reminders of the punishments — are given to the disobedient.
3⃣ To judge between the people and resolve their disputes.
4⃣ To educate the people about the legislation of Allāh.

Prophet Muḥammad Ṣallallāhu-ʿAlaihi Wa Sallam said:
“A man is DOOMED and a LOSER (i.e there’s no Khayr and Raḥmāh for him) if Allāh Taʿālā has not placed in his heart MERCY for the MANKIND.”

_'Say to the one who envies me,
'Do you know who you are misbehaving against?'
You are misbehaving against Allāh in what He gave, because you are not pleased with what He gave me.
So He recompensed me for what you did and that is by increasing me (in my blessings) and shutting the doors of earning (a livelihood) in your face.'_

The benefits of seclusion
Many of the pious predecessors would spend long periods of time in seclusion. When one of them was asked: “Do you not feel the bite of loneliness?” He replied: “How can I, when He has said that He is the companion of those who remember Him?”
[Aboo Nu’aym, 8/217]
One of the Salaf said:
“How can one feel the bite of loneliness when he is with Allaah?”
[Ibn Abee Ad-Dunyaa, Al-‘Uzlah #49]
One of the Salaf said:
“Whoever feels the bite of loneliness when alone does so because of his lack of solace with his Lord.” [Ibn Abee Ad-Dunyaa, Al-‘Uzlah #49]
Yahyaa Ibn Mu’aadh would frequently seclude and isolate himself. His brother censured him saying: “If you are a man amongst men, you need the company of men!” So he replied: “If you are a man amongst men, you are in need of Allaah!”

Some reasons why some who know the truth still reject it:
Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allāh have mercy on him, said:
“A person might know that the truth is [found] with someone else; despite this, he outwardly denies that [truth] due to his envy for him, his wanting to be in a higher position above him, or [his having] desires in [his] soul.”

AbdAllāh ibn Mas'ūd رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْه said:
“The people will not cease to be upon goodness as long as they take knowledge from their senior ones and from their trustworthy ones and from their scholars. So if they take it [i.e.knowledge] from their younger ones and their evil ones, they will be destroyed.”

BE CAREFUL @ your finances! "Interest free" or "0% Interest" does NOT mean halaal & free of ribaa. Interest is only one kind of ribaa (usury).
LATE FEES, for example, come with most "interest free" or "zero-percent interest" loans & financing plans. Late fees are clear ribaa. https://goo.gl/ByvgyW
LATE FEES are actually the most obvious & prevalent form of ribaa from the era of pre-Islamic Jaahiliyyah.

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said: "What can my enemies do to me? I have in my breast both my heaven and my garden. If I travel they are with me, never leaving me. Imprisonment for me is a chance to be alone with my Lord. To be killed is martyrdom and to be exiled from my land is a spiritual journey."

Surahs the messenger would recite before sleep
Upon the authority of Irbaadh ibn Saariyah – Radhiyallahu ‘Anhu – that The prophet – Sallallahu alaihi wa Salam – did not used to sleep until he recited the’Musabihaat’ (A reference to the surahs that begin with ‘Sabbaha lillah..’ or ‘Yusabihu Lillah..’ or ‘Subhaan..’ or ‘Sabihi…’ and they are seven surahs: Suratul Israa, Suratul Hadeed, Suratul Hasr, Suratus Saff, Suratul Jumu’ah’, ‘Suratut Taghaabun, Suratul A’laa) and he used to say ‘In them is an Ayah that is better than a thousand verses!’
