🔹Advice to those who are Always on the Internet

Shaykh Muhammad ibn Saalih Al-‘Uthaymeen

▪️Question:
Noble Shaykh, we would like for you to give some golden advices to some of the religious youth who are constantly using the internet, may Allaah reward you with good.

▫️Answer:
Na’am. It is known that the internet contains good and it contains evil. The one who desires good therein shall find it. It contains legislative sciences, linguistic sciences, the knowledge of industry, and other than it. It also contains unadulterated evil; in it are many evils. It has reached me that its dangers are more severe than that of the satellite channels.
So my advice to my brothers as it relates to the internet or the satellite channels is that they have Taqwaa of Allaah within themselves and that they know that they were not created for this. They were created for the worship of Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic. And that when they reduce themselves to that which resembles animals—and this is by way of fulfilling lusts and desires—then they have lost this life and the Hereafter, and the refuge is with Allaah. So it is upon my Muslim brothers to preserve their religion and to preserve their time and to not waste this precious, precious, precious life. By Allaah, one minute is greater than a thousand Dirhams. Don’t you see, that when death comes, if it were said to the person: “Would you like to give us the entire Dunyaa so that We would delay (death) for one minute?” He would say: “Yes!” Due to this, Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic, says:
حَتَّى إِذَا جَاء أَحَدَهُمُ الْمَوْتُ قَالَ رَبِّ ارْجِعُونِ ٩٩ لَعَلِّي أَعْمَلُ صَالِحًا فِيمَا تَرَكْتُ كَلَّا إِنَّهَا كَلِمَةٌ هُوَ قَائِلُهَا وَمِن وَرَائِهِم بَرْزَخٌ إِلَى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
Until, when death comes to one of them, he says: "My Lord! Send me back so that I may do good in that which I have left behind!" No! It is but a word that he speaks, and behind them is Barzakh (a barrier) until the Day when they will be resurrected. (Al-Mu'minun 23:99-100)
I ask Allaah for us all to have a good ending. Due to this, there has come within a Hadeeth:

ما من ميت يموت إلا ندم، إن كان محسناً ندم ألا يكون ازداد، وإن كان مسيئاً ندم ألا يكون استعتب
“There is none who dies except that he has regret. If he was a good-doer then he regrets that he did not do more. If he was a sinner then he regrets that he did not repent.”
Preserve your lifespan, my brother. By Allaah, it is more precious than gold and silver. If a person would not squander a single Dirham, then how could he squander this lifespan upon which revolves (his) happiness or misery?
O Allaah, make us from those who are happy. O Allaah, make us from those who are happy; O Allaah, make us from those who are happy, O Lord of all that exists.

Beware of the Grand Muftee of Qutubiyyah – who runs the infamous islamQA website.

Muhammad Ibn Saalih al-Munajjid,
>>“Reading the books of those who passed before us has created a strong attachment in our souls for this Religion, because they write from a position of strength and superiority. And for this reason, we also encourage the people to read the modern books, those which were written by the Muslim with the spirit of superiority; such as the books of Sayyid Qutb. May Allaah bestow mercy upon him,”
from the audio cassette, Kayfa taqra‘a Kitaab.

He also stated in an-Naseehah li Islaahil-Buyoot (p. 23),
“And here my brother reader, are some suggestions in this regard: In Tafseer...Fee Dhilaalil-Qur‘aan of Sayyid Qutb.”

And he later continued (p. 24),
“Just as there are a number of good books on a variety of different issues, amongst them the books of the teacher, Sayyid Qutb – rahimahullaah – al-Mustaqbal li Haadhad-Deen, Haadhad-Deen, Ma’aalim fit-Tareeq, Khasaa‘isut-Tasawwuril-Islaamee...”

It was narrated that Abu Dharr said: The Messenger of Allah (Peace and Blessing upon Him) said:

"The evil eye may follow a man by Allah's Leave, until he climbs up a high mountain then falls from it."

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas (RA) said: The Messenger of Allah (Peace and Blessing upon Him) said:

"The evil eye is real and can bring down a person from a high mountain."

What is meant here is that the evil eye follows a person by Allah's will, until it causes him to fall from a high mountain. Musnad Ahmad; Al-Tabarani; Al-Hakim in Al-Mustadrak. Al-Albani (may Allah have mercy on him) said: It is Hasan

It was narrated that Jabir ibn 'Abdullah said: The Messenger of Allah (Peace and Blessing upon Him) said:

"Most of those who die of my Ummah, after the will and decree of Allah, will die because of the evil eye." Narrated by Al-Bukhari in Al-Tarikh, and by Al-Bazzar. Shaykh Al-Albani said: a Hadith Hasan - Sahih Al-Jami', 1217

It was narrated that Jabir (RA) said: The Messenger of Allah (Peace and Blessing upon Him) said:

"The evil eye will put a man into his grave and a camel into the cooking pot." Hilyat Al-Awliya' by Abu Na'im. Shaykh Al-Albani (may Allah have mercy on him) said: It is a Hasan Hadith - Al-Silsilah Al-Sahihah, 1250.
Imam Ahmed - may Allah have mercy upon him - said:

*"There will remain goodness in us as long as there are people who oppose our mistakes".*

*The Hijab and The 'Vitamin D' Deficiency issue!*
=======================

Muslim women wearing hijab generally have very low vit D leading to its deficiency in body causing many bone and soft tissue problems...

In old days the home constructions were such that it had huge open area in middle of the home and the rooms were constructed in periphery so that women can do the daily chores in that open area in sun at the same time will be able to maintain their hijab.

Now a days the constructions are western styled having home at centre and lawns in periphery. This type of constructions not only restrict mobility of women but also make them unable to soak sun on bare skin as there is fear of getting *hijab* broken, such that whether she's out from front or back or any side of home she will be exposed to outside of home. I.e she cannot come in open without wearing hijab even in gallery or porch! (personal experience)... as there's always a fear of breaking of hijab from men in neighbourhood.
.
Thus these new styled constructions have forced hijab wearing women to stay away from sunlight while doing daily chores. And thus they get deficient in vitamin D.

This point is raised by non-muslims time and again to insult and mock islamic rules and they blame Hijab for causing Vitamin D deficiency in muslim women leading to many health problems in them.
.
Please Note:
Vitamin D deficiency is found in *all age groups* and *both the genders*, in people who *stay away from sunlight* due to some or other reason.
.
E.g Men and women in big metro cities live in AC homes, ride AC car and work in AC office and they don't get to see the light of sun due their busy life styles... Hardly on weekends they move out in sun! They *too* have deficiency of vit D... They don't wear hijab!!

Then why to blame only Hijab for it!
Why not to blame the other factors as well that lead to not making people get enough sunlight!
.
On the other hand, hijab wearing women too should take care of their health by *soaking sun* on some *bare parts of body* like *face, hands , legs* etc, specially from early morning sunrays just after sunrise. These rays are rich in vitamin D. You can simply go to your *home terrace* or *lawn* or any area where you can absorb early sunrays, at the same time staying away from eyes of non mahrams!
.
So the solution is *not to leave hijab* and disrespect Allaah's command but *to keep soaking sun* by going to home terrace or lawn taking care NOT to break hijab limits.

May Allaah guide all of us
.
[[ The Hijab and The 'Vitamin D' Deficiency issue!

A man said to IBRĀHEEM IBN ADAM, “I cannot pray QIYAAM AL-LAYL, so tell me the cure for this.”

He SAID,

“Do NOT commit SIN during the DAY, and He will help you to stand before Him at NIGHT, for your standing before Him at night is one of the greatest honours, and the SINNER DOES NOT DESERVE THAT HONOUR.”
"For The One Who Wishes To Be From Amongst The Saved Sect, He Must Act In Accordance To What The Companions And Tābi'îyn Were Upon.
═════════════════════════
Shaikh Muhammad Nāsir-ud-dīyn al-Albānī (d.1420H, RahimahuℓLāh) said in his highly beneficial book Fundamentals of the Salafî Methodology:

"So it is obligatory for the one who wishes to be from amongst the Saved Sect, that he must act in accordance to what these Companions and Tābi'îyn were upon. And they were the Salafus-Sālih, whom we must take as an example."[•→25]. [Below are beneficial footnotes regarding this point] [•→25].

Taking the Salaf as our example involves a number of issues:

📌1 •→ Firstly, correctness in this life and salvation in the Hereafter will occur through following the guidance of the Salaf.

📌2 •→ Secondly, it is obligatory that the anoscription to Salafiyyah must be real, by sound following of the madh-hab of the Salaf and their guidance. And one must not leave their understanding for the understanding of anyone else.

📌3 •→ Thirdly, from the results of sticking to the guidance of the Salafus-Sālih and employing their understanding of the texts is the absence of differing from them in statements and positions, and not leaving their ijtihād for a new ijtihād that has no precedence.

Imām Ahmad (d.241H) - RahimahuℓLāh - said to his student Abul-Hasan al-Maymoonee, "Do not speak about an issue in which you do not have an Imām." Refer to Manāqib Ahmad (p. 178) of Ibnul-Jawzī. And Imām Ahmad said, "One will not come across anything except that there is a position established concerning it from the companions of the Prophet (Sal'laℓLāhu 'Alayhi wa Sallam)." Refer to Masā'il Ahmad (p. 277) of Abī Dāwūd as-Sijjistaanee.

📌4 •→ Fourthly, from the results of sticking to the guidance of the Salafus-Sālih is taking whatever agrees with the proof from their ijtihād along with excusing them with good mention whenever they oppose the text in their ijtihād.

'Umar Ibnul-Khattāb (RadiyAℓLāhu 'Anhu) said, "There are three that destroy the Religion: [i] the mistake of a Scholar; [ii] the argument of a hypocrite with the Qur'ān; [iii] and misguided Imāms." Sahīh:Related by Ibn 'Abdul-Barr in Jāmi' Bayānul-'Ilm wa Fadlihī (2/110).

Imām al-Awzā'ī (d.157H) - RahimahuℓLāh stated: "Whosoever takes the statement of the people of Makkah regarding mut'ah (temporary marriage), the statement of the people of al-Koofah regarding wine, the statement of the people of Madīnah regarding singing, and the statement of the people of Shām regarding the infallibility of the Caliphs, then he has gathered together all evil." Refer to Siyār A'lāmin-Nubalā (8/81) of al-Hāfidh adh-Dhahābî.

📌5 •→ Fifthly, from the results of sticking to the guidance of the Salaf is discarding deadly Khalafiyyah which is founded upon giving precedence to the intellect over the text and rejecting the Book and the Sunnah through corrupt ta`wiylat (figurative interpretations).
Indeed, al-Awzā'ī said, "Stick to the āthār of those who preceded, even if the people reject you." Sahīh:Related by al-Ājurrī in ash-Sharī'ah (p. 58) and al-Khatîyb in Sharaf Ashābul-Hadīth (no. 6).

📖 If a Student Falls into Mistakes, Should We Hate and Warn Against Him?

🎙 Shaykh al-Fawzan

Question:

Question: If a student of knowledge falls into some mistakes, and his ʿaqīdah is generally sound, is it obligatory upon us to hate and warn against him?

Shaykh Ṣāliḥ ibn Fawzān al-Fawzān

Advise him. It may be that he is ignorant or doesn’t know. Clarify and advise him. If he persists upon [his mistakes] then hate him in accordance to the level of his deviation.

Making Comprehensive Du'a

Translated

From Aisha- RadhiAllaahu anha- who said:

The Prophet ﷺ entered the home with a need while I was praying with a need (for me), but I took too long a time (praying). The Prophet ﷺ said: “O Aisha, you should make a broad and comprehensive du’a”. When I finished the prayer I said, “O Messenger of Allah, what is a broad and comprehensive du’a?” The Prophet said, say:

“O Allah, I ask You from all that is good in the present and in the future, that which I know and that which I do not know. I seek refuge in You from all that is evil in the present and in the future, that which I know and that which I do not know. I ask You for Paradise and the words or deeds that bring me closer to it, and I seek refuge in you from the Hell fire and the words or deeds that bring me closer to it. I ask you from that which Muhammad ﷺ asked you, and I seek refuge in you from that which Muhammad ﷺ sought refuge from. Whatever you decree for me, then make it result in guidance.”
