*A Better Way to Divide Recitation of the Qur’ān over a Month*
Shaykh ul-Islaam Ibn Taimiyyah, may Allāh have mercy on him, described a 29 day schedule for completing recitation of the Qur’ān closer to the way the Companions did that.
He said: “…[D]ivision by complete surahs takes precedence over division by parts [based on letter count].” (p. 412)
And from the great advantages of division by complete surahs, he mentioned (p. 414):
*I.* Reciting speech whose parts are connected, one part with another;
*II.* Beginning [one’s daily recitation] with that which Allāh began a surah with;
*III.* Finishing with that which He finished with;
*IV.* Completing what was intended [to be completed] from every surah.

Shaykh bin Baz—may Allah have mercy upon him
▪️Question:
The questioner seeks an explanation to the noble verse in Soorah Taha
"But whosoever turns away from My remembrance verily, for him is a life of hardship, and We shall raise him up blind on the Day of Resurrection." He will say: "O my Lord! Why have you raised me up blind, while I had sight (before)." [Allah] will say, "Thus did Our signs come to you, and you forgot them; and thus will you this Day be forgotten." (Soorah Taha 20:124-126)
Does this verse apply to every person who is heedless of the remembrance of Allah?
▫️Answer:
Shaykh bin Baz(رحمه الله تعالى):
This is a severe threat for the person who turns away from the remembrance of Allah and turns away from His obedience, thus he does not give Allah His rights. This is his recompense. He will have a restricted difficult life, even if he has a great deal of wealth and riches. His life will be made difficult due to the distress, pain, and hardship that befalls his heart. Thus his great wealth will not benefit him. He will be in distress and hardship due to his turning away from the remembrance of Allah and His obedience. Then he will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment blind.
The intent is this applies to the person who turns away from the obedience of Allah the Exalted, and His rights. He does not give concern to the commands of Allah, rather he commits actions which He has prohibited, and leaves off obeying Him. This is his recompense. We ask Allah for safety and security.

I sometimes see myself in dreams flying in the air like a bird. And sometimes I see dreams that come true. For example, I may see a person in a dream and then I meet him. Despite my happiness about this, I am puzzled when it happens. What is the Interpretation of this?Answer:
Don't be afraid about the affect of these dreams and don't overstrain yourself in interpreting the dream about flying on the wings of a bird. Most dreams are the result of what a person constantly thinks about or is preoccupied with when he is awake. These thoughts come to surface in his dreams. It is better not to make a sure assertion that dream means such and such. And Allah Almighty knows best.

Glad tidings to the one who dies in a strange land!
Upon the authority of Abdullah ibn Amr – Radhiyallahu ‘Anhumaa who said:
“A man who was born in Madina passed away in Madina, so the prophet – Sallallahu alaihi was Salam prayed over him then said: “If only he had passed away in other than his place of birth” so a man from the people said: “And why is that Oh Messenger of Allah? he said: “Indeed if a man dies in other than his place of birth, he will have the distance between his place of birth and his place of passing away measured out for him in jannah“
(Collected by Ibn Hibban:(2923) and Ibn Maajah (1614) and declared ‘Hasan’ by Shaikh Albaani)
Imaamus Sindhi clarifies that the messenger did not intend by his statement “If only he passed away in other than his place of birth” that it would be better for him to die in other than Madina, since the virtue of dying in Madina is established. Rather as As Sindhi states: “Perhaps he intended by his statement concerning dying in other than Madina, if only he was a stranger and one who had migrated to Madina..”
(Haashiyatus Sindhi ‘Alaa Sunan Ibn Maajah 3/387)
That is, it would have been better for him had he been one that had migrated to Madina and died in it.
A great virtue for one who dies outside of their place of birth, either due to migration or journey.
