THE UPRIGHTNESS OF A WOMAN.

A woman needs first and foremost to be righteous herself, so that she can be a good example for her daughters.
🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂
How can a woman become upright? Every woman must realise that only through knowledge can she become upright, and here I am referring to religious knowledge that she can learn from books - if that is possible for her - or from the tongues of the scholars, regardless of whether those scholars are men or women.

In these times, it has become very easy for women to learn knowledge directly from the mouths of the scholars through audio cassettes, for Islamic audio cassettes - Alhamdulillah - now represent an important means of enlightening and educating society. Hence, a woman needs knowledge to become upright, for there is no uprightness without knowledge.

The Book of Du'a (Supplications).

Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said,

"Recite frequently: ' Ya Dhal-Jalali wal-Ikram! (O You, Possessor of glory and honour)."'

[At- Tirmidhi].

Did you ever get that feeling where when you meet someone for the first time, and you suddenly just click? As if you knew each other for ages? This hadith clearly states that our souls were already created and we had met in a place only Allah knows, long before we were born.

The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said, ❝Souls are like crowds which gather together. The ones who met before get along well. The ones who did not meet before, cannot get along very well and separate.❞ [Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawud]

Everything in this life is a test.

Allah says in the Quran:
❝It is He who created death and life to test you, which of you is best in deed. And He is the All-Mighty, the Forgiving.❞

Lack Of Attentiveness In Prayer Can Nullify Its Reward

Prophet Muḥammad Ṣallallāhu-ʿAlaihi Wa Sallam said:

أول ما يرفع من الناس الأمانة وآخر ما يبقى من دينهم الصلاة ورب مصل لا خلاق له عند الله تعالى

“The first thing to be lifted from people (i.e from this Ummah) is TRUST and the last thing to remain of their religion is prayer; and perhaps one will pray but he would have NO PORTION (acceptance or reward) with Allāh Taʿālā.”

Between You and the One in the Grave

It is reported that Al-Hasan Al-Basrī – Allāh have mercy on him – once said during the funeral of a man:

May Allāh have mercy on the man who works for the likes of this day; for today you are able to do what these brothers of yours, the residents of these graves, cannot do. So make full use of your health and free time before the day of distress and accounts comes upon you.

|| The meaning of al-Dunya (the World) ||

[Sharh Riyaadh al-Saaliheen (3/355) of Shaikh al-Uthaymeen رحمه الله]

The Shaikh رحمه الله said:

الدنيا(Al-Dunya - the World): is this life which we are living in. It was named Dunyaa because of two reasons:

The First: It is أدنى (Adnaa - nearer/closer) than الآخرة (al-Aakhirah - the Hereafter), because it came BEFORE the Hereafter as Allaah تعالى said:

{وللآخرة خير لك من الأولى}
{And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world).} [Surah al-Dhuhaa (93): 4]

The Second: It is دنيئة (Danee’ah - ignoble/inferior), it is nothing in comparison to the Hereafter. As Imaam Ahmad has reported:

لموضع سوط أحدكم في الجنة خير من الدنيا وما فيها

“A place in Paradise (as small) as that occupied by the whip of one of you is better than the world and whatever is in it.” [Musnad of Imaam Ahmad (22290) and Saheeh al-Bukhaaree (2892, 3250, 6415) on the authority of Sahl ibn Sad رضي الله عنه]

The place, the size of a short and small stick (whip), in Paradise is better than world and whatever is in it, from its beginning to its end.
Al Imām Ibn Al Qayyim stated ;

"If you want to know what's inside a person's heart , then you should listen to what comes out of his mouth"

[ Jawābul Kāfī - 185 ]
I heard Shaykul Islām Ibn Taymiyyah say ;

"Remembrance is for the heart like what water is for the fish , and how would the situation of the fish be if he left the water ?"

[Ibnul Qayyim - Al Wābil 63]
