Anas ibn Malik reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to Abu Ayyub, “Shall I not tell you about a good transaction?” He said, “Of course!” The Prophet said, *“Strive to reconcile people if their relations are corrupted and bring them closer together when they are apart.”*

The Prophet Sallalahu Alahyi Wa Salam Said:

"Whoever among you sees an evil action and can change it with his hand (By taking action), Let him change it with his hand. If he can not do that, Then with his tongue (By speaking out), And if he can not do that, Then with his heart (By hating it and feeling that it is wrong) And that is the weakest of faith."
[Sunan Ibn Majah 4013]

Islam made it a RESPONSIBILITY for the Ummah to correct one another. Ironically, Muslims worry when they're corrected. On the contrary, We should actually worry when no one is left to correct us because this will be the Lowest sign of Imaan for the entire Ummah.
