Questioner:

*Occasionally disputes and misunderstandings occur among (some) Salafī brothers, so what is your advice and guidance, (which if acted upon inshā’Allāh) they would resemble the heart of a single body, and thus avoid tribulation (fitan) and controversy?*

Shaykh Rabīʿ ibn Hādi al-Madkhalī:

This occurs due to weakness in Taqwa (fear) of Allāh, steadfastness, and uprightness.

If one was steadfast and upright upon the true command (dīn) of Allah then you would not find the likes of these things, but rather there are diseases (in the hearts).

They must rid themselves of these (spiritual) diseases and remain steadfast, and upright upon the truth, and then they will resemble a single body as the prophet  said: “The Ummah is like one body, if a part of it is ill the rest of the body suffers from the fever and sleepless nights“. So I advise them to have fear of Allāh, steadfastness, uprightness; which I advise myself with before them, – may Allāh bless you – and enthusiasm for establishing brotherhood, love, compassion, and visiting for the pleasure of Allāh.

Instead of having hatred and despise for one another, they must have mutual love, mercy, and kindness for one another. That which will distance us from disputes, is that we avoid every means leading to furqa (splitting) This one splits off and goes with Jamāʿat al-Tablīgh (e.g.) -voice unclear -You caused splitting and fitan (in the ranks). This one splits off and goes with Jamāʿat al-Ikhwān, and that one goes off in that direction with so and so sect, and the next with a second group, you have caused splitting, and division among the Salafīyyīn; and also disputes among them. The reasons for splitting are many none can enumerate them except Allāh the Most High. So avoid the causes of differing completely and be ardent upon adhering to the book and the Sunnah, and reminding each another of the Book of Allāh and the Sunnah of his Messenger, (as a result) your hearts will become harmonious and united spiritually and physically upon the truth and goodness.

🔹Greeting on the day of Eid with: “May you be well every year”

▫️Explained by Shaykh Al Albani and Shaykh Fawzan
▫️Shaykh Al Albani—may Allah have mercy upon him was asked concerning the كل عام وانتم بخير :statement
May you be well every year or May each year reach you while you are in goodness.
Shaykh Al Albani: This addition has no basis and it is sufficient for you (to say) “May Allah accept your obedience.” As for the statement “May you be well every year” this is a greeting of the disbelievers. It came to us Muslims during our negligence.
َوَذِّكْر َفِإَّن الِّذْكَرى تَْنَفعُ اْلُمْؤِمنِيَن
And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. (Soorah Adh-Dhariyat 51:55)
Taken from the series: Guidance and Light tape 323
▫️Shaykh Salih Fawzan: Your statement—my brother—“May you be well every year” is not befitting because the beginning of the year does not coincide with the holiday on which this greeting is used. This greeting is only something the people have become accustomed to saying but it has no basis.

Narrated by Ahmad, and Ibn Hibbân from Abû Mâlik al-Ash’ari and by at-Tirmidhi from ‘Ali (radhiAllaahu ‘anhu) the Prophet (sallAllahu ‘alayhi WA sallam) said:

“In Paradise there are dwellings whose inside can be seen from the outside, and the outside can be seen from inside. Allâh (Subhana wa ta’ala) has prepared them for those who feed the hungry, and speak softly and gently, fast continuously and pray at night whilst the people are asleep.”

Teach TAJWEED yo your children with Nursery Rhymes!

https://ourmuslimhomeschool.blogspot.co.uk/2016/06/teach-tajweed-to-your-children-with.html

Teaching our children to recite the Quran correctly is so important as Muslim parents. Tajweed, the rules of Quranic recitation, should be done in young children, so that mistakes do not need to be corrected in later years.

However, we all know that trying to teach Tajweed to young children can be challenging. Young children do not want to sit in formal lessons for too long. The rules can seem complicated and the terminology over-whelming.

So how can we teach young Muslim children the rules of Quranic recitation? Through Nursery Rhymes or Nasheeds!!!

Women going out to the Eid Prayer

❝Women going out to the two Eid prayers is a stressed Sunnah, however, with the condition that they go out to it covered - without tabarruj.❞
📚 [Fatāwā Al-Lajnah Ad-Dā'imah (v. 8 p. 287)

❝I hold the view that women should be commanded with going out to the Eid place of prayer [in order] for them to witness good and join the Muslims in their prayers and suuplications. However, it is a must upon them that they go out [to it] without tabarruj nor perfumed [so that they may] join between performing the Sunnah and avoiding fitnah.❞
📚 Majmū Al-Fatāwā (v. 16 p. 211)

❝Tabarruj is to display beauty and that which causes fitnah like [a woman] displaying her hair, face, neck and the jewellery on her ears and neck. All of this is called tabarruj.❞

🔖 Three People to Stay Away From
•••══❁✿❁══•••
It is reported that ʿAli b. ʾAbi Talib (Allaah be pleased with him)said:

🚨 Do not be with the sinner (fājir), for he will beautify to you the things he does, and he will want you to be like him; and he will beautify to you the worst of his practices; and his entrance upon you and leaving from your company will cause ignominy and discredit [of you].

🚨 And do not accompany the fool (aḥmaq), for he will exhaust himself [to help you] but will not benefit you, and he may want to benefit you but end up harming you; his silence is better than his speaking, his distance is better than his closeness, and him dying is better than him living.

🚨 And do not accompany the liar, for life will not benefit you with him, he will tell others what you say, and tell you what others say; and if you speak the truth, it will not be believed.
