Shaykh Sālih al-Fawzān:
It is Harām to eat the slaughtered meats intended for #Mawlid #Mawlid2018 because it is an innovated celebration.
Likewise, any food which is prepared for this festivity is Harām to consume because it was not prepared except to commemorate this bid’ah.

Will Allāh Punish Me For Praying?? | An Excellent Reply To Mawlid Celebrators.
Narrated by al-Bayhaqī with a correct chain of narration that Imām Sa’īd b. Al-Musayyib رحمه الله once saw a man praying more than two (Sunnah) Rak’āt after the beginning of Fajr, making bows and prostrations abundantly in it, so he forbade him.
The man said, “O Abū Muḥammad, is Allāh going to punish me for praying?” the Imām replied: “No, but He will punish you for OPPOSING the Sunnah.”

A golden reply to those who ask “Will Allāh punish us for commemorating the birth of Prophet ﷺ?”, we say YES Allāh will punish those who innovate into His Deen, may Allāh grant us correct understanding of this religion and protect us from all kinds of innovations and misguidance,
Sh. al-Albānī رحمه الله said in its commentary: وهو سلاح قوي على المبتدعة (.. And this narration is a STRONG WEAPON against the innovators).

Ibn رحمه الله Bāz:
Abstaining from Dunyā means avoiding whatever Allāh has forbidden you of it and avoiding that which distracts you from the Ākhirah and abstaining from people means not begging them, if Allāh suffices you then do not beg from people.

🍽 Can We Celebrate Thanksgiving Because It Is A Cultural Not A Religious Holiday
👤 by Ḥasan Ibn ‘Abd Al-Wahhāb Marzūq al-Bannā حفظه الله
*[Q]*: Is it permissible to sit and eat thanksgiving dinner with non-Muslim relatives? Because this is not a religious holiday, but rather a holiday based on American culture.
*[A]*: Regardless whether it is cultural or not, this is a celebration based upon beliefs and not upon the belief of the Muslims. Whatever celebrations they partake in as disbelievers, whether you refer to it as thanksgiving or other than that, it is not permissible for you to eat with them on that day, it is not permissible for you to eat their food on that day, and it is not permissible for you to celebrate that day in any way, shape or form.

THE MOST DIFFICULT 3 DAYS UPON MANKIND
Sufyān b. 'Uyaynah Raḥimahullāh said: The most loneliest time that the son of Adam will be in is 3 situations:
1. The day he is born and comes to the abode of stress and anxiety (i.e. The world).
2. The night he will sleep with the deceased, so he will live beside neighbors he has never seen the likes of (i.e. The grave).
3. The day he will be raised up (from the dead) and he will witness the likes of that which he never witnessed before (i.e. The Day of Judgement).
Allāh the Most High said to Yaḥya regarding these 3 situations:
"May peace and safety be upon him, the day he is born, the day he dies and the day he will be brought back to life.” • 20:15

Winters Ibadah ⛄
As the clocks go back and we enter the very short days and long nights, take benefit of the following:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: ❝Fasting in the winter is the easy prize.❞
[Ahmad (4/335) , Graded sahih by Shykh Albani] ❤
Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali (رحمه الله) commented:
“And the meaning of it being an easy prize is that it is a prize obtained without any battle or effort or hardship. So, the owner of this prize has been given it as a favor without any effort on his part."
He also mentioned, “Winter is the best season for the believer because Allah strengthens his practice in it by making worship easy for him.
This is because in winter, the believer can fast during the day with ease without suffering from hunger and thirst. The days are short and cold, and he therefore doesn’t feel the hardship of fasting.
As for praying at night in the winter due to its long nights, one can have his share of sleep and then get up to pray afterwards and recite all that he usually recites of the Qur’an while he has had enough sleep.
So, he can combine between the sleep that he needs and the usual amount of recitation of the Qur’an that he completes in a day. So, he fulfills the interests of both his religion and the comfort of his body."
[Lata’if al-Ma’arif, (p. 267)] ✨
When it was winter time, ‘Ubayd bin ‘Umayr would say: “O people of the Qur’an! Your nights are now long for you to recite in. So, recite! Your days are now short for you to fast in. So, fast! Night prayer in the winter equals fasting during the day in the summer.”
[Collected by Ibn Abi Shaibah in his Musannaf, (7/172)] 💙
‘Umar bin al-Khattab said: “Winter is the prize of the worshippers.”
