The Reason You Get Along Well With Some People While Not With Others

From 'Ā`ishah Raḍi-Allāhu 'Anhā who said: I heard the Prophet Ṣallallāhu-'Alaihi Wa Sallam say:

“The souls are (like) recruited soldiers, so when they recognise each other, they are friendly and when they do not recognise each other, they disagree.”

"The religion of Islaam contains all that was beneficial from the previous religions. It is suitable for implementation in any age, any where and by any nation" - Shaykh Uthaymeen

Benefit:
The Tongue Exposes that Which Rests in One's Heart

Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawziyyah:
If you want to find out that which rests in one’s heart, then look to the movements of their tongue. Indeed, the tongue indicates that which rests in the heart, whether or not its owner wills.

Sh. Ibn Bāz Raḥimahullāh said in its explanation:

“The goal of a pleasant tone is to move the hearts until they fear (Allāh) and come to peace and benefit from that recitation.”

O YOU IN LOVE WITH THIS WORLDLY LIFE!

"Your value is only that of what you love; if your endeavors were truly high, you would have taken no notice of this worldly life! O you who claim to have achieved the status of a devoted friend [khaleel], do not claim what you are not, because you always favour even the least of your desires over your Lord."

‼️ “O’ Talib al-‘Ilm! 🦋

💎 (Student of knowledge) Know, that courage is an enormous obligation upon those who learn knowledge - so be courageous, and speak out with the truth, and do not compromise with anyone.

‼️ And know - may Allah protect you from evil - that merely concealing the truth, and being silent about it: this is something which Allah has not only warned with threats of Divine Punishment; rather, He has cursed them - and there is no might, nor power, except with the permission of Allah.

‼️ So if this is the case (regarding those who merely conceal the truth, by being silent), then what about those who actually speak for falsehood?”

[Sheikh Sultan ibn Bajad al-Otaibi ¦ Risalah ‘ila Talib al-‘Ilm ¦ p. 7]
|| Al-Fudayl bin ‘Iyad said: "Stick to the path of guidance, and do not be hurt by the small number of people who take this path, and beware of the path of misguidance, and do not be fooled by the large number of people who destroy themselves on this path."

[U'luww al-Himmah: p. 41]
Narrated Abdullah bin Umar:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim, so he should not oppress him, nor should he hand him over to an oppressor. Whoever fulfilled the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs; whoever brought his (Muslim) brother out of a discomfort, Allah will bring him out of the discomforts of the Day of Resurrection, and whoever screened a Muslim, Allah will screen him on the Day of Resurrection . "

Sahih Bukhari 2442
“Bliss is from him who is dutiful towards his parents...”

“Do you want to enter the Garden?....”
Ibn Sireen رحمه الله heard a man telling another man:

“I did such and such favours for you. I did this, and I did that!”

Ibn Sireen رحمه الله said to him:

“Be quiet! There is no good in being kind to others if you keep recounting it.”

Tafseer al-Qurtubi 3/312 | Imām al-Qurtubi

“Isn’t it beautiful how Surat an-Noor (the Light) is the chapter that encourages lowering the gaze, getting married, wearing hijab, respecting privacy, avoiding lewd gossip, and fleeing from fornication? By that, Allah reminds us that when you allow yourself to get immersed in immorality, such a heart is no longer eligible to carry the light of Allah. You lost your humanity, and Allah chose that humans - not animals - be privileged to carry His light of guidance within them.”

Shaykh Abdul Aziz al Tarefe حفظه الله

The Prophet ﷺ compared the relationship between individual believers to a ‘structure’, and their groups to ‘one body’, because a group with its individuals keep in touch and connect, and the Ummah with its groups support one another and join forces.

Ḥasan al-Baṣrī رحمه الله said: “Whoever wants to measure himself, then let him judge himself by the verses in the Qur’an.”

Sh Ibn Bāz:

A person may find that the paths before him are difficult and when he has needs, doors are closed in his face.

Piety (Taqwa) is the key to these difficulties and the means for them to be made easy. As Allāh said:

2 benefits extracted from verses where Allah informs us that Heavens, Earth, & their inhabitants belong to Him; are under His Sovereignty:
1. Complete submission to His Qadr
2. Complete submission to His Legislation
