Beware of Supplication of the oppressed.
Al Ma’moon said:

"People are of three types:

1 – One that is like food, and are a necessity,

2 – One that is like Medicine, one needs them during times of illness,

3 – One that is like an illness, despicable in every circumstance."

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

"Whoever relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, Allah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Resurrection.

Whoever helps ease someone in difficulty, Allah will make it easy for him in this world and in the Hereafter.

Whoever covers the faults of a Muslim, Allah will cover his faults in this world and in the Hereafter.

Allah helps the servant as long as he helps his brother.

Whoever travels a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise, for a people do not gather together in the houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and studying together, except that tranquility will descend upon them, mercy will cover them, angels will surround them, and Allah will mention them to those with Him.

Whoever is slow to good deeds will not be hastened by his lineage."

Muslim 2699
Listening To The Qur’an

The one listening to the Qur'an is a participant with the reader in every letter which incurs a good deed, and every good deed is equivalent to ten the like of it.

[Shaykh Abdul Aziz bin Baz (Rahimahullah), Fatawa Noor Ala Darb, (26/350)]
Abū Hurayrah (may Allāh be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet ﷺ said: “When one of you is going to leave his house then let him pray two rak‘ahs, they will prevent you from going out to evil. And when you enter your house then pray two rak’ahs, they will prevent you from entering upon evil.”

«إذا خرجت من منزلك فصل ركعتين تمنعانك مخرج السوء, وإذا دخلت إلى منزلك فصل ركعتين تمنعانك مدخل السوء».

🌾The Story of how the Mother of Abu Huraira Became Muslim

📍What follows is a tremendous example of striving patiently and persistently for the guidance of others, particularly family members, trusting in Allah, making du'a.

📌Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه stated: "I used to invite my mother to Islam whilst she was a polytheist. One day I was inviting her (giving her da'wah to accept Islam) and she said something to me (in response) regarding the Messenger صلى الله عليه و سلم that I hated. So I came to the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه و سلم weeping (from sadness) and I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Indeed I used to invite my mother to Islam (regularly) and she would refuse, and I invited her (gave her da'wah) today and she said something regarding you that I hated, so make du'a to Allah that He guides the mother of Abu Huraira".

📌So the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه و سلم said, "O Allah, guide the mother of Abu Huraira".
So I exited happy due to the du'a of the Prophet of Allah صلى الله عليه و سلم (like the one given a glad-tidings). So when I arrived and approached the door, it was actually locked, and my mother heard my footsteps and said, "Remain in your place O Abu Huraira!", and I heard the sound of water trickling. She made Ghusl and wore her garment and quickly covered her head then opened the door, then she said, "O Abu Huraira! I bear testification that there is no deity worthy of worship in truth except Allah and I bear witness that Mohammad is his servant and Messenger".

📌So I returned to the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه و سلم and (this time) I was shedding tears from joy and I said, "O Messenger of Allah, glad tidings to you, Allah has answered your du'a and guided the mother of Abu Huraira!" So he صلى الله عليه و سلم praised Allah, and mentioned goodness....."

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful!

O you who believe! If you obey and fear Allah:
- He will grant you a criterion to judge between right and wrong, and
- He will remove from you all evil (that may afflict you), and
- He will forgive you.
And Allah is the Owner of Great Bounty.

The Meaning of al-Ihsaan (Being Good to Someone)

Shaykh al-Allaamah Abdul Azeez bin Abdullaah bin Baaz Rahimahullaah
Translated by Abbas Abu Yahya

The Question:
What is the meaning of having al-Ihsaan (being good to someone) mentioned in the hadeeth?

The Answer:
Al-Ihsaan to daughters and similar to them is to raise them with the upbringing of Islaam, to educate them and bring them up on the truth so they are steadfast in their modesty and keep themselves far away from what Allaah has made Haraam such as displaying themselves and other things.

Similar is the upbringing of sisters, sons and other forms of al-Ihsaan where they are all raised on obedience to Allaah and His Messenger, on refraining from what Allaah has made Haraam and being upright on the truth of Allaah –Subhanahu wa Ta’ala.

With this, it should be known that the intent of al-Ihsaan is not merely feeding, giving drink and clothing them, rather the intent of al-Ihsaan to them is broader, including actions of the Deen and the Duniya.

☆A WORTHWHILE SPENDING☆

The ruling on congratulating non-Muslim's on their religious festivals?

Ibn al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy on him, said:

"Congratulating the kuffaar on the rituals that belong only to them is haraam by consensus, as is congratulating them on their festivals and fasts by saying ‘A happy festival to you’ or ‘May you enjoy your festival,’ and so on. If the one who says this has been saved from kufr, it is still forbidden. It is like congratulating someone for prostrating to the cross, or even worse than that. It is as great a sin as congratulating someone for drinking wine, or murdering someone, or having illicit sexual relations, and so on. Many of those who have no respect for their religion fall into this error; they do not realise the offensiveness of their actions. Whoever congratulates a person for his disobedience or bid’ah or kufr exposes himself to the wrath and anger of Allah".

📚Ahkām Ahl Al-Dhimmāh. (1/205)

If merely congratulating the people of disbelief on their festivals exposes you to the the wrath and anger of Allah, then what's the torment for those who actively participate in their celebrations?!!

He will be able to increase the balance of his good deeds
Ibn al-Qayyim (Rahimahullah) said:

If you read (the Qur'an) with contemplation, even if over a (single) ayah, it is a key to healing your heart. Even if repeated a hundred times and for the (whole) night. Reading an ayah with contemplation and understanding is better than reading to completion without tadabbur and understanding. It is more beneficial for the heart and ensures gain in faith, and in tasting sweetness of the Qur'an.

Explanation Of The Supplication For The Sick & Afflicted

By Shaykh AbduRazzaq ibn AbdulMuhsin al-Abbaad

The author highlights in this extremely beneficial book a number of ways, derived from the texts of the Quran and the authentic Sunnah, to treat the evil eye, magic, depression anxiety, pain, sickness and other common ailments. This should be of no surprise tot the muslims as the Prophet -صلى الله عليه وسلم- said: ‘Allah has not sent down an illness, except that he also sent down its cure.’ Bukhari

Ibn al-Qayyim -رحمه الله- said:

‘The intent is to speak regarding these two soorahs [al-Falaq and an-Naas] and to clarify the greatness of their benefit and the extreme need for them; rather, the necessity of them, and the fact that no one at all can do without them. Similarly, [to clarify] the fact that they have a great effect, specifically on the repelling of magic, the evil eye and the other manifestations of evils. And [to clarify] the fact that the servant’s need for seeking refuge with these two soorahs is greater than his need for air, food, drink, and clothing.’. (Badaai’ al-fawaaid by ibn al-Qayyim 199/2)

Ibn al-Qayyim -رحمه الله- said:

‘This remedy had an effect upon this disease and it removed it to the point that it was as if it never existed. It is the easiest and most convenient [form of] treatment. If the slave were to properly treat the ailment with al-faatiha, he would see an amazing effect in terms of [recovery] and healing.

I had stayed in Makkah for a period of time and some illness had afflicted me. I was not able to find a doctor or any medicine. So i would treat myself with al-faatiha, and i saw that it has an amazing effect. I would mention that to those who had complained of pain and many of them were healed quickly (by way of it).’ (al-jawaab al-kaafee p.5)

Ibn al-Mubārak Raḥimahullāh: “The person of innovation (Bid’ah) has a dirty face, even if he anoints it THIRTY TIMES a day.”

When a person realizes that he has been tested, he should repent to Allaah and seek his forgiveness, as was done by Prophet Dawood

{And Dawud became certain that We had tried him and he sought Forgiveness of his Lord, and he fell down into prostration and turned (to Allah) in repentance}

[Surah Saad (38): 24]
