Explanation Of The Supplication For The Sick & Afflicted
By Shaykh AbduRazzaq ibn AbdulMuhsin al-Abbaad
The author highlights in this extremely beneficial book a number of ways, derived from the texts of the Quran and the authentic Sunnah, to treat the evil eye, magic, depression anxiety, pain, sickness and other common ailments. This should be of no surprise tot the muslims as the Prophet -صلى الله عليه وسلم- said: ‘Allah has not sent down an illness, except that he also sent down its cure.’ Bukhari
Ibn al-Qayyim -رحمه الله- said:
‘The intent is to speak regarding these two soorahs [al-Falaq and an-Naas] and to clarify the greatness of their benefit and the extreme need for them; rather, the necessity of them, and the fact that no one at all can do without them. Similarly, [to clarify] the fact that they have a great effect, specifically on the repelling of magic, the evil eye and the other manifestations of evils. And [to clarify] the fact that the servant’s need for seeking refuge with these two soorahs is greater than his need for air, food, drink, and clothing.’. (Badaai’ al-fawaaid by ibn al-Qayyim 199/2)
Ibn al-Qayyim -رحمه الله- said:
‘This remedy had an effect upon this disease and it removed it to the point that it was as if it never existed. It is the easiest and most convenient [form of] treatment. If the slave were to properly treat the ailment with al-faatiha, he would see an amazing effect in terms of [recovery] and healing.
I had stayed in Makkah for a period of time and some illness had afflicted me. I was not able to find a doctor or any medicine. So i would treat myself with al-faatiha, and i saw that it has an amazing effect. I would mention that to those who had complained of pain and many of them were healed quickly (by way of it).’ (al-jawaab al-kaafee p.5)

When a person realizes that he has been tested, he should repent to Allaah and seek his forgiveness, as was done by Prophet Dawood عليه السلام:
وَظَنَّ دَاوُودُ أَنَّمَا فَتَنَّاهُ فَاسْتَغْفَرَ رَبَّهُ وَخَرَّ رَاكِعًا وَأَنَابَ
{And Dawud became certain that We had tried him and he sought Forgiveness of his Lord, and he fell down into prostration and turned (to Allah) in repentance}

✒What is the meaning and forms of TAQLID along with the legal ruling on each type?
All Praise is due to Allah Alone and peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions. To commence:
A- Scholars of Usul-ul-Fiqh (principles of Islamic jurisprudence) have many definitions of Taqlid (following the views of a specific jurist or School of Jurisprudence). Some scholars defined Taqlid as following a person's religious view without knowing the evidence upon which it is based. Some other scholars said that Taqlid means the acceptance of a person's religious view with no evidence. Abu Al-Ma`aly Al-Juwayny defined Taqlid as following a person's view without evidence or knowledge. All these definitions are similar to each other. Scholars of Usul-ul-Fiqh debated the issue according to their logical discussions. But here we wish to clarify the meaning of Taqlid.
B- As regard to the kinds of Taqlid and the ruling on each category, it is as follows:

♦ Two Types of Sabr
Allah says in surah al-Baqarah:
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ
O you who believe! Seek help in patience and al-Salaah. Truly! Allah is with al-Sabiroon (the patient ones). [2:153]
Imam ibn Kathir wrote the following under his tafsir of this ayah:
Al-Sabr (patience) is of two types: sabr in leaving off the forbidden acts and sins, and sabr in performing the acts of obedience and things which draw one nearer to Allah. And the second of these is greater in reward because that is the desired objective.
This is like what ‘Abdur-Rahman ibn Zaid ibn Aslam said: Sabr is of two types: Sabr for the sake of Allah in what He loves – even if it is heavy on oneself and one’s body -, and sabr for the sake of Allah against what He dislikes – even if your desires draw you towards it.
So whoever is like this, then he is one of the sabiroon upon whom Allah has placed His peace, inshaAllaah.

🌿 Patience with Prayer
🎓 Shaykh AbdurRahman bin Nasr as-Sa’adi[1] -Rahimullaah-
📝 Translated by: Abbas Abu Yahya
Shaykh AbdurRahman bin Nasr as-Sa’adi (d. 1376 A.H.) said in his Tafseer of the saying of Allaah Ta’ala:
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ اسْتَعِينُواْ بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلاةِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ
<< O you who believe! Seek help in patience and As-Salat (the prayer). Truly! Allaah is with As-Sabirin (the patient ones.>> [al-Baqarah: 153]
‘Allaah Ta’ala commanded the believers to seek aid for their religious and worldly affairs <<in patience and As-Salat (the prayer)>>
Patience is securing the soul and preventing it from that which it dislikes. It is of three divisions:
Making the soul patient upon obedience to Allaah until it carries out that obedience.
Keeping the soul away from sinning against Allaah until it leaves that sinning.
Keeping the soul patient with the painful Qadr of Allaah (what Allaah has painfully destined) so the soul does not become discontent.
Therefore, patience is a great aid for all matters, there is no way for the one who is impatient to achieve what he needs, especially continuous difficult acts of obedience which are in dire need of having patience and swallowing the bitterness of hardship, therefore, if a person with difficulties adheres to patience then he wins successfully.
If a person rejects difficulties and hardships without patience and being tolerant with them then he does not acquire anything. But has gained that what is Haram, and also that sin which the soul ferociously desires, is inclined to that sin and that is within the capability of the slave of Allaah. This sinning is not possible to leave except with having great patience, and preventing the heart provoke/invoke the soul and its inclination/tendency to Allaah Ta’ala, and seeking aid with Allaah and protection from it, since it is from the Major Fitn (Trials & Tribulations).
Likewise are the difficult tribulations, especially if they are continuous and they cause the physical and psychological strengths to weaken and that which results from this sinning is also found, which is displeasure and anger. These occur if a person does not rectify his soul with patience for Allaah’s sake, with reliance upon Him, and seeking refuge with Him and continuously being in need of Allaah.
You have come to know that the slave of Allaah is in need of patience, rather he is compelled to Allaah in all of his circumstances, so this is why Allaah Ta’ala ordered to have patience, Allaah mentioned that He is 《with As-Sabirin (the patient ones).》meaning: with those who have the mannerisms of patience, its characteristics, possesses seeking aid with Allaah, His success and Allaah correcting him, then the tribulations become easier upon him due to patience, all the difficulties, dislikes and all major things become easy for him, all hardships are taken away from him, this is a specific closeness to Allaah, which necessitates loving him and aiding him, helping him and being close to him. This is a great characteristic for the people who have patience, therefore, if there were not an excellence for the patient ones other than they were given success with this being close to Allaah, then this would be sufficient as an excellence and honour. As for the general understanding of being close to Allaah then it is the being close of knowledge [Allaah has knowledge of everything] and being close of Allaah’s Capability [Allaah is capable of everything], as in the saying of Allaah Ta’ala:
{وَهُوَ مَعَكُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كُنْتُمْ}
<< And He is with you (by His Knowledge) wheresoever you may be >> [Hadeed : 4] and this is general for all the creation.

Devil's Deception Of The Poor (Al Fuqurā)
✒️..Some poor people pretended to be poor when they are rich. then they resort to begging which is a sin that is punishable by hell
📌The messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
"He who begs to increase his riches is in fact asking only for a live coal.It is up to him to decrease it or increase it".
[Muslim 1041]
✏️Even if they do not beg others, but only hope for people to believe that they are asceptic, then they are showing off.
✏️And if they are truly poor, then it is better for them to conceal this fact. some of the Salaf used to always carry a key with him in order to make others think that he owned a home, when in fact he was so poor that he had no home, and spent his night in the masjid.
📣Also, Iblīs convinces a poor person that he is better than a rich person. This is because he has given up on becoming rich like him. This is wrong because betterment is not a function of what one possesses.

[منهج الاسلامية]
