It was narrated that:
Ibn Abbas said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) enjoined Zakatul-Fitr as a purification for the fasting person from idle talk and obscenities, and to feed the poor. Whoever pays it before the (Eid) prayer, it is an accepted Zakah, and whoever pays it after the prayer, it is (ordinary) charity.”
Reference : Sunan Ibn Majah 1827
In-book reference : Book 8, Hadith 45
English translation : Vol. 3, Book 8, Hadith 1827
Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “Whoever pays it before the prayer, it is valid zakaah, and whoever pays it after the prayer, it is ordinary charity”– unless the individual is excused, such as if he forgot to pay it and did not remember it until after the prayer, or he had intended to give it to the one who usually gives it on his behalf, then after that he found out that his deputy had not paid it, so he pays it himself, or if he found out that it was Eid too late, then he pays it after the prayer. If there is an excuse, there is nothing wrong with giving it after the prayer and in that case it is acceptable, because the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said concerning prayer: “Whoever sleeps and misses a prayer or forgets it, let him pray it when he remembers it.” Sunan Nasa'i Book 6, Hadith 620 if this is the case with regard to prayer, which is the greatest of time-specific duties, then it is more appropriate in other cases.

Sisters attend Eid Prayer but wear Proper Hijaab/Jilbaab
Shaykh ‘Abdul-‘Aziz ibn ‘Abdullah ibn Baaz (رحمه الله تعالى ورحمة واسعة) said:
"...It is authentically reported that when the Prophet (ﷺ) asked women to attend Salat-ul-’Eid (the Festival Prayer), they said, "O Messenger of Allah! One of us might not have a Jilbab (loose outer garment with no front opening)." He (ﷺ) said, "Let her sister give her one of her Jilbabs to wear." Related by Al-BukharI and Muslim.
It can be deduced from this Hadith that the women of Sahabah (Companions of the Prophet) used to wear Jilbabs when going out. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did not allow them to go out without a Jilbab, in order to block the means leading to Fitnah, protect them from corruption and purify the hearts of the people, although they lived in the best of centuries, and the men and women were honorable Mu'mins (believers). ..."

Al-Shāfiʿī on Fickle Friends
When a person won’t look out for you without it feeling forced, leave him and don’t go on about your feelings of remorse.
For [you’ll find] among people those to replace [him], and in leaving [him], there’s relief; and a heart can bear a loved one were he to become distant, cold, and brief.
Not everyone whom you incline to, inclines to you with his heart, nor has everyone you’ve been a true friend to, been true to you [from the start].
When love that’s sincere is not natural, there’s no good when [it’s] put on and artificial.
There’s no good in a close buddy that betrays his best friend, [that] meets him after friendship, with coldness that offends;
[that] denies the life he once lived, the many years gone by; [that] publicizes secrets that in past days [he would] hide.
It’s over for the world if no friend can be found–who’s truthful and faithful and to justice always bound.

Or that he may pray; and he does not emerge with any reward at all, hence the one that is does not have humility and attentiveness in his prayer; then no reward is written for him. Even if it be that he is not commanded to repeat [the prayer], this is so that the Muslim has humility and attentiveness in his prayer; being attentive in his heart during the prayer. It is essential that he avoids the things which affect his Khushoo’ and so cause distraction in his prayer.❞

So dear Muslim, you are planning to celebrate Mothers Day tomorrow, have a feast, shower ur mum with gifts on one day of the year?
Did u know Mothers Day orginated with pagan Greeks celebrating their "mother of gods" called Rhea? The mother of many dieties in Greek mythology.
This holiday was then incorporated into Christianity on 4th Sunday in their period of Lent (the 40 days before Easter).
A Muslim believes Allah Subhaana wa ta'aala is the One true Lord. He was not born nor does He give birth. He is far above that.
A Muslim knows that in Islam EVERYDAY is "Mothers Day". A Muslim treats their mother like a Queen everyday and expresses gratitude to Allah Subhaana wa ta'aala for their mother by obeying Him
A Muslim does NOT imitate non Muslims because Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said:
"They will follow the ways of those who came before them, handspan by handspan, cubit by cubit, until even if they entered a LIZARDS HOLE they will follow them.” We said: “O Messenger of Allaah, (do you mean) the Jews and Christians?” He said: “Who else?” [Saheeh al-Bukhaari & Muslim]

Let me tell you something, it is during the hardest times of your life, you will understand and see the reality of the people you keep around you. Some people will make an effort with you and will do whatever they can to soothe your pain and be there for you, some will disappear completely and that's when you will realise. Allāh Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala brings certain people into your life, some may have internal struggles which they do not bring to light and others may just be downright selfish and uninterested in you and the pain you're going through, but when you come across people who do not bother with you, take it as a sign and understand that Allāh Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala does certain things for a reason.
May Allāh ﷻ make it easy for us all and may we all help others in time of need, may our du'as be heard and may we be surrounded by genuine souls. Aameen!

'Umar Ibn al-Khaṭṭāb (raḍiyAllāh 'anhu) used to read in the Morning Prayer (fajr):

In doing so he would cry so much that the people in the last row heard his sobbing.
