The best advice I can give you today.
STOP DEPENDING ON AND EXPECTING FROM PEOPLE.

As you go through seasons of life you will quickly realize much of hurt, resentment, cynicism and detachment is because you place too much trust in people and expect alot from people.

Flip that expectation towards Allah alone!

📚 ❝Whoever is afflicted with poverty and seeks relief from people, then he will never be relieved, but whoever seeks relief from Allah, then Allah will soon give him relief, either by quickly sufficing him or causing his death.❞
- Prophet Muhammad
[Sunan Ibn Majah]

✤ Stop asking people for money.
✤ Stop asking people to help you get married.
✤ Stop coveting what others have.
✤ Stop complaining too much to people.
✤ Stop begging people for appreciation, love and comfort.
✤ Stop have hopes that others will treat you like you treat them.
✤ Stop being afraid of losing people.

❝And verily for everything that a slave loses there is a substitute, but the one who loses Allah will never find anything to replace Him.❞
- Ibn al-Qayyim (ra)

YOU.
WILL.
BE.
DISAPPOINTED.

If you place too much hope in people. Rather work on being self sufficient and depending on Allah alone.

The Angel Jibreel came to the Prophet ﷺ and he said,
📚 ❝O Muhammad, live as you wish, for you will die. Work as you wish, for you will be repaid accordingly. Love whomever you wish, for you will be separated. Know that the nobility of the believer is in prayer at night and his honor is in his independence of the people.❞
[al-Muʻjam al-Awsaṭ 4410]

When you do this people will love you and the more you ask Allah, depend on Allah – Allah will love you.

📚 ❝By Him in Whose Hand my life is, it is better for anyone of you to take a rope and cut the wood (from the forest) and carry it over his back and sell it (as a means of earning his living) rather than to ask a person for something and that person may give him or not.❞
- Prophet Muhammad
[Sahih Bukhari]

CUT THE ROPE WITH PEOPLE & HOLD ONTO THE ROPE OF ALLAH.

Make dua to Allah to free you from the need of others. Focus on helping people, focus on being a giver, focus on being a healer and inshaAllah as long as you are helping someone else Allah will continue to help you.

❝Whoever relies on Allah (has Tawakkul), He is sufficient for him.❞
{Surah At-Talaaq 65: Verse 3}

📚 ❝Allah helps the servant as long as he helps his brother.❞
- Prophet Muhammad
[Sahih Muslim]

🤲 O Allah! I seek refuge with You from worry and grief, from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice and miserliness, from being heavily in debt and from being overpowered by (other) men.
Ameen!

Life is very confusing.

One day we're the happiest person in the world and tomorrow we are the most lonely. Sometimes when we’re experiencing hardships in our lives we fail to see Allah’s Wisdom and Mercy in the hardships. We become consumed with the hardship itself. However difficult the hardships may be, Allah always helps the believers and intends good for them. Indeed, Allah has His plans. You would be surprised as to what is waiting to walk in to your life, once you learn to stop running. Because that's what humans do, we run...We run from one thing to another. But once you stop, you begin to feel more. You begin to understand, what is meant to be and what is meant to run away.
Never worry about the delay of your success compared to others because construction of a palace takes more time than a ordinary building. If Allaah has withheld something from you, then it is only to give you something better
Patience is hard. It's really hard. Sometimes you feel like you could no longer be patient, as if you've broken and that's it. Then Allaah suddenly grants you strength to endure whatever comes your way. Tawakkul (trust) is like a superpower; once you completely rely upon Allaah to bring you through anything, to help you, to make you a way out, to heal you-you feel the calmness to the storm, the sweetness in your tears and the bitterness just seem to fade away.

"Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear.." [2:286]

Allaah does not delay a matter except for (a greater) goodness.

And He does not deprive you of something except for (a greater) goodness.

And no calamity befalls you except for (a greater) goodness.

So, do not be disheartened...

For the Lord of (all) goodness, nothing comes (from Him) except goodness!
The Hadith
The Prophet ﷺ drew a square and then drew a line in the middle of it and let it extend outside the square and then drew several small lines attached to that central line, and said, "This is the human being, and this, (the square) is his lease of life, encircles him from all sides, and this (line), which is outside (the square), is his ambition, and these small lines are the calamities (which may befall him), and if one misses him another will get him (i.e. overtake) him, and if the other misses him, the next one will get him." - Sahih al-Bukhari 6417

The Lessons:

● Be present in the moment.
● Think and plan far ahead, but
● Pepare for a sudden death.
● Invest time wisely.
● Remember the flimsy nature of this life.
● Don't stress over the happenings in this life.
● Be content.
● Live a focused life.

📚THE BEST TIME TO GIVE CHARITY

Abu Huraira reported: A man came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said,

“O Messenger of Allāh, which charity has the greatest reward?” The Prophet said, “That you give charity while you are healthy, greedy, fearing poverty, and hoping to be rich. Do not delay giving until you are on your deathbed, then say it is for such a person. It already belongs to that person.”

al-Bukhārī 1419, Muslim 1032

Ibnul Jawzi, may Allah have mercy on him, said:

"The life of this world is a greater seduction than the seduction of Harut and Marut. Because Harut and Marut caused division between a man and his wife, the life of this world causes division between the worshiper and his Lord."
Consequently, whenever you face multiple difficulties, remember that the Quran will maintain you on the Truth:
"Thus [it is] that We may strengthen thereby your heart." [Al-Furqan, 25:32]

How merciful is our Lord?
Ibn al-Qayyim

“Allāh reprimands (tests) His believing slave whom He loves, though he is dear to Him, for the smallest mistakes and slip-ups, in order to keep him alert and careful.

As for the person who fell from His eye and meant nothing to Him, He allows him to sin freely. In fact, every time he commits a sin, He grants him another blessing.

The deluded persons thinks that is because of his worth with Allāh, oblivious that this is the epitome of disgrace, and that He wishes for Him the fiercest torment, and the endless punishment.”

[Zad al-Ma'ad | 3/506]
Shaykhul Islām Ibn Taymiyyah (رحمه الله) said,

“It is obligatory that when a person experiences a trial, that he be patient and persevering and not give in; he should be firm in his faith and persevere in his duties. All this requires patience. Patiently bearing all the afflictions that may come along the way and restraining oneself against temptation.”

Al-Hassan Al-Basrī (رحمه الله) has said,
“No one drinks a greater dose than the dose of patience at the time of anger, and the dose of patience at the time of affliction.”

[Majmū’ Al-Fatāwā (10/38-40) | Ibn Taymiyyah Expounds on Islām]
It was narrated that Usamah bin Sharik [Radhiyallahu Anhu] narrated that that the prophet {Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam} said:-

Seek medical treatment, for Allah has not created any disease but He has also created a remedy for it, except for - one disease: Old age.

The celebration of the festival of the Hindus🚨

It is strictly prohibited to celebrate or part take in their festival or to even attend for a few minutes just to "show your face".

Allah the mighty and majestic says in the Qur'an what translates to mean:

" Say: (O Muhammad Salallahu Alaihi Wassallam) to these Al- Kafirun.
I Worship not that which you worship, Nor will you worship that which I worship And I shall not worship that which you are worshipping. Nor will you worship that which I worship. TO YOU BE YOUR RELIGION AND TO ME MY RELIGION"
- SURAH KAFIRUN (The Disbelievers)
Surah 109.

The words of Allah are crystal clear and it is sufficient for the true believer, only one evidence the true believer needs and then the true believer says:

"...We hear and and we obey..."
SURAH BAQARAH, verse 285

O Muslim hold on to your religion and be firm upon it because if we as Muslims do not stand firm for our Islam which we claim that we love so much, then who will stand firm for Islam?

Allah says in the Qur'an: " There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the right path has become distinct from the wrong path. Whoever disbelieves in false deities and believes in Allah, then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break. And Allah is the All-Hearer, All-Knower."
SURAH BAQARAH, verse 256

The words of Allah the All-Mighty is true. We are forbidden to go to these festivals that has nothing to do with Islam, Allah says in the Qur'an:
"...Help you one another in virtue, righteousness and piety but do not help one another in sin and transgression. And fear Allah Verily, ALLAH IS SEVERE IN PUNISHMENT."

O Muslim, find an excuse not to go to these things which goes totally opposite to what Allah has commanded us with, come up with some excuse and excuse yourself from this celebration of shirk because Allah is severe in punishment, do not be from among those that reject the words of Allah.

I ask Allah to help us all understand tawheed and to keep us far away from shirk and its celebrations. 🌸Aameen🌸

FORWARD AS A REMINDER TO ALL.
The Eclipse Prayer.

Shaykh ibn ‘Uthaymeen [may Allāh have mercy on him] said:

“No doubt it's sudden occurrence is more severe upon the souls and if the people speak about it before its occurrence and calm the souls and [allow] them to prepare for it, then the affair becomes a natural affair like the ‘Eed prayer wherein the people congregate. Therefore, we do not find a benefit in informing [people] about it, rather it is closer to harm than benefit.”

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said,

If Allaah puts a person under certain tests and trials and the person recognizes that he must resort to Allaah alone seeking His help,

then this is a good sign for him; the trials turn to purification and mercy.

If on the other hand, he rejects, complains, and turns away from Allaah and seeks help from human beings like himself, then this is a bad sign for him;

the trials turn to punishment and misery for him.

EXERCISE PARDON HERE, YOU SHALL BE PARDONED HEREAFTER

Mas'ud bn Muhammad al Hamdaanee was of the noblest of people. He always pardon people's misdoings by saying :

"the past is not to be remembered".

After his death, he was seen in the dream being asked, what did you meet with your Lord ?

He said, He (Allaah) made me stand before Him and said to me:

' Oh Mas'uud, the past is not to be remembered; take him to the Jannah. '

‘Abdallah b. ‘Amr b. al-‘As reported God’s Messenger as saying,

“If anyone stands in qiyam and recites 10 verses he will not be recorded among the negligent (Ghafileen) ; and if anyone stands in qiyam recites 100 verses he will be recorded among those who are obedient to God and if anyone makes proper use of a 1000 verses he will be recorded among those who receive huge rewards.”

Think about it. Just 10 verses means only Surat al Falaq & Surat an Nas.

So if we get up for tajahhud and can manage to read only these 2 surahs, our category in the sight of Allah changes to those who remember him and removed from the negligent ones. May Allah give us tawfeeq for the bare minimum.

Our closest family members can be our enemies:

The Prophet Ya'qub said to his son Yusuf:
قَالَ یَـٰبُنَیَّ لَا تَقۡصُصۡ رُءۡیَاكَ عَلَىٰۤ إِخۡوَتِكَ
فَیَكِیدُوا۟ لَكَ كَیۡدًاۖ إِنَّ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنَ لِلۡإِنسَـٰنِ عَدُوࣱّ مُّبِینࣱ
'𝗠𝘆 𝘀𝗼𝗻, 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺, 𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝘆𝗼𝘂. 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗻'𝘀 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗺𝘆.' [Qur'an 12:5].

Ibn al-'Arabi al-Maliki explained:
'𝘐𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘦𝘯𝘷𝘺 𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘣𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴.'
['Ahkam al-Qur'an', 3/38].

----------------------------

We often think that all our family relatives are our well-wishers and that our enemies are distant outsiders.

In reality, our closest family members, who reside within our own homes - may be our direct enemies!

There is often strong competition among brothers and relatives: show-off of wealth, extravagant wedding parties, etc.

Your own father or mother may be your enemy... there are some parents who deliberately keep their children small and insignificant, so that they themselves can remain big and relevant.

They fear that if their children become financially strong, then they themselves will become irrelevant and small. So, they cut the wings of their children, by discouraging them from endeavours that will make them big.

The children are often unaware, because naturally, they expect only good from their parents.

Your spouse may be your enemy: sometimes, some men deliberately prevent their wives from learning and earning and becoming stronger. They want to keep them needy and dependent on themselves.
They want to keep a leverage over them.

Like sheep, they spend our entire lives fearing the big bad wolf - but in the end, they get slaughtered by the shepherd.

I don't intend to create distrust within families, but I'm just highlighting that all human beings are fighting devils within their heads.

Our relatives may be overcome by the plots of the devil and they may envy us and wish us harm.

It is best to remain vigilant.
Ibn al-Qayyim

“Whoever abandons habits for the sake of someone or something other than Allāh, will surely suffer hard and difficult times.

However, whoever abandons habits for the sake of Allāh sincerely from his heart, he will not suffer from leaving it except at the beginning so that his credibility will be examined. If he bears this pain it will be turned into pleasure.”

[Al-Fawā’id | Pg. 174]

THE VIRTUE OF PARDONING

Al-Haafith Ibn Hibbaan said:

"The person most noble in rank is he who wards off ignorant treatment with good manners. Virtue is just a man being kind to one who treats him poorly. Responding to kindness with kindness is [merely] being equal in manners."
