~ Five things that the Messenger ﷺ feared for us ~

Pay attention to this and let's all take it personally, each one of us on his own level in society and scope of influence.

It was narrated that ‘Abd Allāh Ibn ‘Umar, may Allāh be pleased with him, said: “The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ turned to us and said: ‘O Muhājirūn, there are five things with which you will be tested, and I seek refuge with Allāh lest you live to see them: Immorality never appears among a people to such an extent that they commit it openly, but plagues and diseases that were never known among the[ir] predecessors will spread among them. They do not cheat in weights and measures but they will be stricken with famine, severe calamity and the oppression of their rulers. They do not withhold the Zakāh [obligatory alms-giving] of their wealth, but rain will be withheld from the sky, and were it not for the animals, no rain would fall on them. They do not break their covenant with Allāh and His Messenger, but Allāh will enable their enemies to overpower them and take some of what is in their hands. Unless their leaders rule according to the Book of Allāh and seek all good from that which Allāh has revealed, Allāh will cause them to fight one another.’”

English Translation of Sunan Ibn Mājah Volume 5 (Darussalam), The Chapters on Tribulations, Chapter 22. Punishments, pp. 222-223 [Grade: Ṣaḥīḥ (authentic)]
#Reciting_Qurān_loudly_inthe_masjid

Ibn ‘Umar and al-Bayādī (may Allāh be pleased with them) reported:

The Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) said, “Do not recite the Qur’ān loudly over one another (i.e in a way that disturbs others).”

[Graded authentic (Sahīh) by Al-Albānī in Mishkāt al-Masābih 856, Sahīh al-Jāmī’ 1951, graded authentic (Sahīh) by Ibn Hajr al-Asqalānī in Natā'ij Al-Afkār 2/17 and he graded it hasan (good) in Hidāyat Ar-Ruwāt 1/391, graded authentic (Sahīh) by As-Sakhāwī in Al-Maqāsid al-Hasanah 425]

Narrated by Abu Sa'īd al-Khudrī (may Allāh be pleased with him):

The Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) retired to the mosque. He heard them (the people) reciting the Qur’ān in a loud voice. He removed the curtain and said: “Lo! every one of you is calling his Lord quietly. One should not trouble the other and one should not raise the voice in recitation (of the Qur’ān) or in prayer over the voice of the other.”

[Graded authentic (Sahīh) by Al-Albānī in Sunan Abī Dāwud 1332]

Shaykh al-Islām Ibn Taymiyah (may Allāh have mercy on him) said:

“No one should raise his voice in recitation in such a way that he annoys others, such as other worshippers.”

[Majmū‘ al-Fatāwā, 23/61]
Don't look down at others:

Ibnul-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

"If Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى opens for you (gives you success to doing that action) the door of standing for the night prayer, then do not look at those who are sleeping with a look of disdain.

And if Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى opens for you the door of fasting then do not look at those who break their fast with a look of disdain.

And if Allaah سُبحانه وتعالى opens for you the door of jihad then do not look at those who sit and do not participate with a look of disdain.

Maybe the one who sleeps, breaks his fast and sits is closer to Allaah than you!

Ibnul-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
"And indeed that you spent the night sleeping and woke up regretful is better than the one who spent the night standing and woke up admiring himself for indeed the one who admires himself actions are not accepted !!”

🌺The Gardens of `Ibaadah (Worship) and Adhkaar (remembrance)💕

‎بسم الله والحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله ، وبعد

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
❝There is no (true) comfort for man, or enjoyment, or pleasure (or satisfaction), or perfection except through knowing Allaah تعالى and loving Him (as such), and when feeling calm and tranquil while making His Dhikr (remembrance), and when finding joy and pleasure in trying to get nearer to Him (through obedience and worship), and yearning to meet Him. This is the Jannah (Paradise) of this worldly life, like how there is no comfort for him in the Hereafter nor success except by being in His (Allaah's) company, in the House of Delight, in the Jannah of the next life. For a man there are two Jannah, he will not be able to enter the second one if he does not enter the first one. I heard Shaikh al-Isaam Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله saying: ❝There is a Jannah in this world, whoever does not enter it will not be able to enter the Jannah of the Hereafter.❞❞

[Madaarij al-Saalikeen (1/452)]
Don't miss out, Just make your intention purely for Allah

The immense reward for reciting the Qurʿān | let's make it a habit!

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah, he will be credited with a good deed, and a good deed is multipled ten-folds. I do not say that Alif-Lam-Mim is one letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter and Mim is a letter.” [Reported by Tirmithi, graded Sahih by sh. Albani]

▪️Let's do some quick calculations to get a rough idea of the potential reward, while bearing in mind that Allah's Bounty is limitless:

If 1 page consists of 15 lines, and 1 line consists of 35 letters approximately:

35 × 15 = 500 letters (per page)

500 letters × 10 = 5000 good deeds

This is the potential reward for reciting 1 page of the Qur'an, which only takes around 2 minutes.

The potential reward for reciting 1 juzz (20 pages) is 100,000 good deeds.

And the potential reward for sharing this benefit is extremely high...

May Allah grant us well-being
Ibn al-Qayyim said:

‘As for the Dua of Dhu noon (Yunus), it has from the completion of Tawheed, Negating all deficiencies from Allaah, and the acknowledgment of the worshipper of his own oppression and sin.

It is the most far reaching medication for difficulties, anxiety and grief.

This Dua is the most far reaching means to Allaah -far is He from imperfection – in fulfilment of needs. Indeed, Tawheed and negating all deficiencies from Allaah includes affirming all perfection for Allaah,

Pure from all deficiency, defects and giving a similitude for Allaah’s Characteristics with the characteristics of the creation.

The acknowledgment of the worshipper’s oppression, includes that he has Eeman in the Sharia, reward and punishment.

This Dua obligates a person feeling weak and in a dire need turning to Allaah and requesting Allaah to pardon his mistakes. And acknowledgement with the servitude of worship of Allaah and the great need of a person of his Lord, Here, there are four things with which a closeness and a means occurs: Tawheed, freeing Allaah from imperfection, servitude of worship and acknowledgment.’

🔺 *Debt is a very serious matter, indeed*🔺
By Asma bint Shameem

Many people have adopted a very casual approach to being in debt and take out loans, not for some urgent need, but because they want to unnecessarily keep up with others in buying bigger homes, faster cars, more furniture or clothes or other temporary luxuries of this life.

But taking loans and being in debt is a GRAVE matter.

Islaam takes the matter of debt very seriously and warns against it and urges the Muslim to avoid it as much as possible.

And I am NOT talking about taking an “interest based” loan.
That is forbidden for SURE.

The kind of loan I am talking about is one WITHOUT interest, one that does NOT involve Ribaa;
The kind that is *allowed*, yet *discouraged* in Islaam.

And yet, we don’t see it as such.

🔺 *1) The Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) used to seek protection from it.

The Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) used to say in his prayer:

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْمَأْثَمِ وَالْمَغْرَمِ

“Allaahumma inni a’oodhi bika min al-ma’tham wa’l-maghram

“O Allaah, I seek refuge with You from sin and heavy debt.”

Someone said to him: “How often you seek refuge from heavy debt!”

He said: “When a man gets into debt, he speak and tells lies, and he makes a promise and breaks it.”
(al-Bukhaari and Muslim).

🔺 2) The person in debt will not enter Jannah until the debt is paid off!

Muhammad ibn Jahsh radhi Allaahu anhu said:

“We were sitting with the Messenger of Allaah Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam when he raised his head towards the sky, then he put his palm on his forehead and said:

“Subhaan-Allaah!

What a strict issue has been revealed to me!”

We remained silent and were afraid. The following morning I asked him:

“O Messenger of Allaah, what is this strict issue that has been revealed?”

He said,

“By the One in Whose hand is my soul, if a man were killed in battle for the sake of Allaah, then brought back to life, then killed and brought back to life again, then killed, and he owed a debt, he would not enter Jannah until his debt was paid off.” (al-Nasaa’i- hasan by al-Albaani)

🔺 3) The Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) didn’t pray his Janazah!

The Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) did not lead the funeral prayer for someone who had died owing three dinars, until Abu Qataadah radhi Allaahu anhu said:

O Allah's Messenger! Lead his funeral prayer, and I will pay his debt." So, he led the salat (prayer).
(al-Bukhaari)

🔺 4) Freedom from debt makes entry into Jannah EASY.

The Prophet sal Allaahu Alayhi wa sallam said:

“Whoever dies free from three things – arrogance, cheating and debt – will enter Jannah.”
(al-Tirmidhi (1572); saheeh by al-Albaani)

🔺 5) The soul of the one in debt is suspended!

The Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said:

“Your companion is being detained by his debt.” (Abu Dawood- hasan by al-Albaani).

And he said:

“The soul of the believer is held hostage by his debt in his grave until it is paid off.”
(at-Tirmidhi: saheeh by al-Albaani)

🍃 Explaining this hadeeth al-Suyooti said:

“It (soul) is detained and kept from reaching its noble destination.

🍃 Al-‘Iraaqi said:

“No judgment is passed as to whether it will be saved or doomed until it is determined whether his debt will be paid off or not.”

🔺 Statements of Sahaabah regarding debt

🍃 Umar ibn al-Khattaab said:

“Beware of debt, for it starts with worry and it ends with war.”
(Maalik in al-Muwatta).

🍃 And Ibn ‘Umar said:

“O Humraan, fear Allaah and do not die in debt, lest it be taken from your good deeds when there will be no dinars and no dirhams.”

🔺 When is taking a loan permissible?

The Ulama warn us about how difficult the issue of debt is, and that it should not be undertaken except in cases of necessity.

Based on this, there are three conditions for debt to be permissible:

🍃 1- The borrower should be determined to repay it.

🍃 2- It should be known or thought most likely that he is able to repay it,
🍃 3- It should be for something that is permissible according to Sharee’ah.

🔺 Ibn ‘Abd al-Barr said:

“The debt for which a person will be kept out of Paradise – and Allaah knows best – is that for which he left behind enough to pay it off but he did not leave instructions to that effect, or he was able to pay it off but did not do so, or he took the loan for some unlawful or extravagant matter and died without having paid it off.

As for the one who took a loan for something lawful because he was poor, and he died without leaving behind anything to pay it off, Allaah will not keep him from Paradise because of it, in sha Allaah.”

So take a loan only when absolutely necessary.

And if you are in a situation of debt right now, try your utmost best to pay off your debts as soon as possible.

Strive hard to pay it off, don’t take it lightly, put your trust in Allaah, and pray to Him to make it easy for you to pay off your debt.

🍃 The Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said:

“The one who takes people’s wealth intending to pay it back, Allaah will pay it back for him, and the one who takes it intending to destroy it, Allaah will destroy him.”
(al-Bukhaari).

There are a number of duas in the Sunnah that the Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) used to make to help him stay away from all kinds of debt and to pay off any debts a person may have.

We should try and read those duaas and do our best to pay off our debts we may have, as soon as possible.

May Allaah help us to do that. Ameen.

And Allaah knows best
The Merit of Night Prayer when others Sleep:

It is reported that ‘Abdullāh b. Masʿūd said:

Allāh the Mighty and Sublime laughs at two men [being pleased with them]: a man who stands in the middle of the night while his family sleeps; he purifies himself and stands in prayer, so Allāh laughs at him. And a man who meets the enemy [in battle] and his comrades are defeated; but he stands his ground until Allāh the Mighty and Sublime gives him martyrdom.

Abū Bakr Al-Ājurrī, Faḍl Qiyām Al-Layl, article 9.

Note: A longer version of this narration is reported from Allāh’s Messenger himself – praise and peace be upon him – in the Musnad of Aḥmad and other collections.
Stay awake early morning:

Sleeping is disliked after the Fajr prayer as this is a time of blessings, hard work, activity and striving to earn one’s livelihood.

Sakhar Al-Ghaamidi narrated that the Prophet peace be upon him said: "O Allaah! Bless my nation in its early times." Moreover, if he had to dispatch a battalion or an army, he would send it at the beginning of the day." (i.e. after Fajr) [Ahmad, Abu Daawood, At-Tirmithi, An-Nasaa’i and Ibn Maajah]

Ibn Al-Qayyim rahimahullāh said,

“The morning sleep prevents (people from gaining) sustenance as this is a time when the creation looks for provision. It is also the time when the sustenance is being divided. Thus, if a person sleeps at this time, he prevents himself (from sustenance) except in case of an obstacle or a necessity. Besides, morning sleep is very harmful for the body as it makes it lazy and exhausts the secretions that should be transformed by sport (physical exercise), so morning sleep causes breaking up, tiredness and weakness. If this happens before defecating, physical activity and sport or occupying the stomach with something, then this is an incurable disease that causes many kinds of diseases.”
Next time you want to complain or you are feeling ungrateful remember this...

The blessing of eyes alone did not compare to 500 years of worship!

📚 There was a man who worshipped Allah for 500 years. When he passed away, Allah instructed that he enter Jannah through His Mercy. The man refused, insisting that he enter Jannah through all his worship. Then Allah weighed his worship against just the blessing of his eyesight.

The gift of eyesight alone outweighed 500 years of worship.
So Allah condemned the man to Hellfire.

He begged Allah for mercy, & Allah reminded him of all the blessings he was given. Allah said "All of these happen through my mercy, so enter Jannah only through My Mercy."

[‘Mustadrak ala Sahihain’ and Hakim remarked it as Sahih. (مستدرک علی الصحیحین 4/278– Hadith No. 7637)]

In another narration we learn..

📚 Aisha reported:
The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ said,
“Follow the right course, be devoted, and give glad tidings. Verily, none of you will enter Paradise by his deeds alone.”
They said, “Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?”
The Prophet said, “Not even me, unless Allah grants me His mercy. Know that the most beloved deed to Allah is that which is done regularly, even if it is small.”
[Bukhari & Muslim]

The best of mankind and the mercy to mankind will need Allah's mercy as well.

Count your blessings always.
Imam ibn al Qayyim رحمہ اللہ said:
تَجَرَّعِ الصَّبْرَ، فَإنْ قَتَلَكَ قَتَلَكَ شَهِيدًا. وإنْ أحْياكَ أحْياكَ عَزِيزًا.

“Swallow patience, for if it kills you, you’ll die a martyr, and if you live, you'll live honourably.”

[Madarij as Sakileen 2/159]

Mindful person will always wish to stand before Allah as Oppressed.
والله المستعان!

The Prophet (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa ‘aalihi wa sallam) said:

The hour is drawing ever closer, and people are only becoming ever keener on obtaining the pleasures of this worldly life, and ever more distant from Allah.

[al-Haakim (rahimahullah), Saheeh al-Jaami', 1146]
STARS HAVE NO CONTROL OVER ANYTHING

Imaam Barbahaaree rahimahullaah said:

Look into the stars sparingly, just enough to help you to know the times of the prayer. And turn away from whatever besides that, since it invites to apostasy.

Narrated Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani: The Prophet (ﷺ) led us in the Fajr prayer at Hudaibiya after a rainy night. On completion of the prayer, he faced the people and said,

“Do you know what your Lord has said (revealed)?” The people replied, “Allah and His Apostle know better.” He said, “Allah has said,

‘In this morning some of my slaves remained as true believers and some became non-believers; whoever said that the rain was due to the Blessings and the Mercy of Allah had belief in Me and he disbelieves in the stars, and whoever said that it rained because of a particular star had no belief in Me but believes in that star.’ “[Al-Bukhari] [Muhsin Khan’s Translation]

Qatadah (radi Allaahu anhu) said,
"These stars were only created for three purposes: Allah created them

1 As an adornment for the heaven (sky).
2 As missiles for devils and
3 Signs for navigation.

Therefore, whoever seeks to interpret any other meanings for them other than these, then verily he has spoken with his own opinion, he has lost his portion and burdened himself with that which he has no knowledge of.”

Ibn Jarir and Ibn Abi Hatim both recorded this statement.[Tafseer Ibn Kathir] [Dar-us-Salam English Publication]

Ithaaful-Qaaree bit-Taleeqaat alaa Sharhis-Sunnah (A Gift To The Reader In Annotation Of Sharh As-Sunnah)

By Shaykh Saalih ibn Fowzaan Al-Fowzaan Hafidahullah.

Translated by Aboo Talhah Daawood Burbank, Rahimahullaah.
🔑 The Key is in One of the Holes!!!

Imagine with me a group of people who have been locked up inside a huge castle, and the castle has a door, the door has a key, and the key is inside one among ten holes made in the wall of the castle.

- Well then, why don't they get the key from the hole?!

- I will tell you why: It is because each of the other nine holes contains a deadly scorpion inside it.

Therefore everyone is scared of trying.

The first person came and extended his hand into one of the holes with strength and bravery... A scorpion stung him, and he dropped dead!

The second person stood up, and having learned from the experience of the first one, which showed that the key was not in the first hole, put a piece of cloth on his hand and extended it into the second hole, but the piece of cloth didn't protect him from the sting of the scorpion – and he too fell dead!

The third person stood up, followed by the fourth and the fifth... Each one of them tried to protect his hand from the sting of the scorpion by every possible and accessible means, but despite all this, everyone of them would get stung.

During all this time the majority of the people were watching the ones who fell down dead. Some of them would mock, others would describe the ones who tried as stupid and impulsive, while others would remain pleased with themselves because they had survived since they didn't even try to get the key!

In the end, after nine persons fell down dead, the tenth person extended his hand and got the key out of the tenth hole. He opened the gate of the castle whilst the people were clapping for him in admiration!

In reality, who is the one who brought this victory? Is it the tenth person alone as many have falsely thought? Or the first nine people who have a greater share in this victory than him?

Isn't the first person who chose one from among ten holes, isn't he the one with much greater "achievement" than those who had to choose in the end from among two or three holes only?

Our Ummah is under its biggest imprisonment.

The true loser is the one who doesn't try in order to avoid getting stung, and who prefers to remain with his Ummah inside the prison!

As for the vanguards of glory, they are those who try successfully by all means, and become part of the victory which will come even if it's going to be after a while. However that is only under two conditions:

1. That you don't put your hand in a hole where the Sharīʿah and the course of history have shown or indicated that the key is not inside it!

2. That you learn from the experiences of those who preceded you who got stung, and you build upon that. Do not be lazy to study their experiences and rely only on bravery, courage and on having good intentions, and then you end up getting stung from a hole from which your brother was stung before because; "a believer is not stung from the same hole twice"!

There is no place for despair when there is Īmān (faith).

Dr. Eyad Qunaibi
Imām An-Nawawī said: “If a person falls into the same sin a hundred times, a thousand times or even more and he repents after each time, his repentance will be accepted and his sins nullified. Even if he was to repent after *ALL* his sins just one time, his repentance would still be sound.”

‎● [شرح النووي على مسلم ٧٥/١٧]
Assalaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullaahi Wa Barakaatuhu.

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.

Excellence Of The Dhuha Prayer

Volume2, Page 29b:

The excellence of the Dhuha prayer

Many hadith describe the excellence of the Dhuha prayer.

Abu Zharr reports that the Prophet sallallahu aleihi wasallam said:"Charity is required from every part of your body daily. Every saying of 'Glory be to Allah' is charity. Every saying of 'Praise be to Allah' is Charity. Every saying of 'There is no God but Allah' is Charity. Every saying of 'Allah is the Greatest' is Charity. Ordering the good is Charity.Eradicating the evil is Charity. And what suffices for that (as a Charity) are the two rak'at of Dhuha." This is related by Ahmad, Muslim, and Abu Dawud.

Ahmad and Abu Dawud record from Buraidah that the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wasallam said: "In a human (body) there are 360 joints and man must make a charity for each one." The people said: "Who can do that, O Messenger of Allah?" He responded: "One may cover the mucus that one finds in the mosque or remove something harmful from the road. If one could not do that,he could pray two rak'at of Dhuha and that will be sufficient for him."

Talking of the legal import of these hadith, ash-Shaukani says: "These two hadith point to the greatness, excellence, and importance of the Dhuha prayer, stressing its legality as its two rak'at suffice for 360 charities.Something like this should be performed regularly and persistently. The hadith also establish the importance of saying 'Glory be to Allah', 'Praise be to Allah', and 'There is no God but Allah.' And [the importance of] ordering the good, eradicating the evil, removing the spittle, removing what is harmful from the path, and such other acts that will fulfill what is required of a person of daily charities."

An-Nawas ibn Sam'an relates that the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wasallam said:"Allah said: 'Son of Adam, do not fail in performing four rak'at in the early day as it will be sufficient for the latter part of the day."' This is related by al-Hakim and at-Tabarani and its narrators are trustworthy.Ahmad, at-Tirmizhi, Abu Dawud, and an-Nasa'i relate it on the authority of Na'im al-Ghatfani with a good chain. At-Tirmizhi's wording is: "Son of Adam, pray four rak'at for Me in the early day and it will be sufficient for you for the latter part of the day."

'Abdullah ibn 'Amr says: "The Messenger of Allah sent an expedition and they obtained lots of booty and returned quickly. The people talked about their quick victory, abundant booty, and quick return. At this the Messenger of Allah said: 'Shall I not guide you to a closer battle, a greater booty and a quickerreturn? Whoever makes wudu' and then goes to the mosque to pray Dhuha, that isthe closer battle, better booty, and quicker return."' This is related by Ahmad and at-Tabarani. Abu Ya'la has something similar to it.

Abu Hurairah says: "My friend [the Messenger of Allah] advised me to do three things: fasting three days of every month, praying the Dhuha prayer, and praying the Witr prayer before I sleep." This is related by al-Bukhari and Muslim.

Anas says: "During a journey, I saw the Messenger of Allah pray eight rak'at in the early day. When he finished, he said: 'I prayed my prayer wishing and fearing. I asked my Lord for three things and He gave me two and withheld one. I asked Him not to put my Ummah to trial by famine and He granted that request. And I asked that they would not be overtaken by their enemies and He granted that request. And I asked that they not be split into groups and parties and He refused that request."' This is related by Ahmad,an-Nasa'i, al-Hakim, and ibn Khuzaimah who classifies it as Sahih.

Beautiful advice:

In Madarij as-Salikin, he said, “Shaykh al-Islam ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said to me one time, ‘ When one understands that trials and misfortunes are inevitable, he will not get angry when they occur, nor will he grieve or feel sadness due to them’.

So when one is patient with those trials and does not let them break him, it is hoped that he will rise to the level of attainment ( of true servitude to Allah). His soul will become disciplined and will be content with Allah, and it will be weaned off its bad habits, until love of Allah will drench his heart and his soul and his limbs will all become obedient to the commands ( of Allah ). At that point, his heart will see sense that Allah is with him and is supporting him. His every motion and every pause will be through Allah, not by himself. His heart will receive many divine insights, such that he will appreciate Allah’s Divinity, His control of all things, and his Uniqueness. It is upon understanding of theses three qualities that all knowledge and fundamentals are based”

(taken from ‘The Biography of Imam ibn al-Qayyim’ Ali Abdul-Mawjud)
Salatul Dhuha is a Prized Prayer

Salatul Dhuha is a prized prayer and whoever wishes to earn reward should pray it, while there is no blame upon the one who does not pray it.

Abu Sa'id reports: "The Prophet salla allahu alaihi wasallam would pray Dhuha until we thought he would never abandon it. And he would abandon it to the point that we thought he would no longer perform it." This is related by at-Tirmizhi who says it is hasan.

Anas relates that the Messenger of Allah said: "Prayer in my mosque is equal to ten thousand prayers [elsewhere]. And prayer in the inviolable mosque is equivalent to one hundred thousand prayers [elsewhere]. And prayer in the battlefield is equivalent to one million prayers [elsewhere]. And what is more than all of that is two rak'at by a slave [of Allah] during the middle of the night." This is reported by Abu ash-Shaikh, Ibn Hibban in his workath-Thawab, and al-Munzhiri, in his book at-Targhib watTarhib, is silent about it.

Volume2, Page 31a:

Recommended time for the Dhuha Prayer

The time for Dhuha begins when the sun is about a spear's length above the horizon and it continues until the sun reaches its meridian. It is preferred to delay it until the sun has risen high and the day has become hot.

Zaid ibn Arqam relates: "The Messenger of Allah salla Allahu alaihi wasallam went to the people of Quba', and they were performing Dhuha, and he said: 'The prayer of devotion should be observed when the young weaned camels feel the heat of the sun.'" This is related by Ahmad, Muslim, and at-Tirmizhi.

Volume2, Page 31b:

Number of rak'at for the Dhuha Prayer

The minimum number of rak'ah to be prayed is two, as was mentioned in the hadith of Abu Zharr. The most that the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wasallam performed was eight rak'at, where as, the most he mentioned was twelve rak'at. Some people, such as Abu Ja'far at-Tabari, al-Mulaimi, and ar-Ruwyani, who subscribes to the Shafi' school, say there is no maximum limit to the number of rak'at that one may perform for Dhuha.

Al-'lraqi says, in the commentary on Sunan at-Tirmizhi: "None of the companions or followers are known to have restricted it to twelve rak'at."As-Syuti agrees with it.

Sa'id ibn Mansur records that al-Hassan was asked: "Did the companions perform it?" He answered: "Yes . . . some of them would pray two rak'at and some of them would pray four rak'at. And some of them would continue until half the [early] day [had passed]."

Ibrahim an-Nakha'i reports that al-Aswad ibn Yazid was asked: "How many rak'at are to be prayed for Dhuha?" He answered:

"As many as you wish."

Umm Hani narrates that the Prophet salla allahu alAIhi wasallam prayed eight rak'at of Dhuha and made the taslim after every two rak'at. This is related by Abu Dawud with a sahih chain.

'Aishah reports: "The Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wasallam would pray four rak'at for Dhuha and would add to it whatever Allah willed." This is related by Ahmad, Muslim, and ibn Majah.

If performed after remembering Allah from the time of Fajr prayer, it's equivalent to the complete reward of Hajj & Umrah.

"Whoever prays the Fajr prayer then sits in his place of prayer remembering Allah until sunrise, then prays two rak`ats of Dhuha, shall be rewarded as if he had performed Hajj and Umrah, with a reward that is complete, complete, complete." [Tirmidhi, hasan]

(Note: This doesn't nullify the requirement to perform Hajj).

❄️Place our trust to Allah (ﷻ)❄️

Prophet Ya'coob (AS) asked this dua when he sent Binyamin with his childrens to Egypt, to enter from different gates rather than all of them entering from one gate.

Quran surah Yusuf 12:67

And he (Ya'coob عليه السلام) said:"O my sons! Do not enter by one gate, but enter by different gates, and I cannot avail you against Allah at all. Verily, the decision rests only with Allah.

عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُۖ وَعَلَيْهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلْمُتَوَكِّلُونَ

Alayhi tawakkaltu waAAalayhi falyatawakkali almutawakkiloon

In Him [Allah], I put my trust and let all those that trust, put their trust in Him"
