Forgiveness can be a difficult process, especially when we are holding onto grudges or hurt caused by others. However, often the reason we struggle to forgive is because we fail to recognise our own imperfections and shortcomings. It's easy to focus on the wrongs that have been done to us, but we must also acknowledge the ways in which we have hurt and wronged others.

It's important to remember that none of us are perfect, and we all make mistakes. We must strive to seek forgiveness not only from those we have hurt but also from a higher power. By acknowledging our own flaws and seeking forgiveness, we can begin to let go of the anger and resentment we may be holding onto.

Ultimately, forgiveness is a gift we give to ourselves as much as it is to others. Holding onto grudges only serves to keep us trapped in negativity and can prevent us from experiencing true peace and happiness. So, choose to forgive, not only for the sake of others but for your own well-being, most importantly for the sake of Allāh. Remember, the act of forgiving others may also lead to being forgiven ourselves.

The real competition in Ramaḍān:

📚 Sahih Muslim 1151 e

Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:

Every (good) deed of the son of Adam would be multiplied, a good deed receiving a tenfold to seven hundredfold reward.

Allah, the Exalted and Majestic, has said:
With the exception of fasting, for it is done for Me and I will give a reward for it, for one abandons his passion and food for My sake.

There are two occasions of joy for one who fasts, joy when he breaks it, and joy when he meets his Lord,
and the breath (of an observer of fast) is sweeter to Allah than the fragrance of musk.

The VIRTUES Of The NIGHT PRAYERS

The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) stated: “Whoever performs the night prayer during Ramadān with faith and hoping for reward, then his previous sins will be forgiven.”[1]

And he (صلى الله عليه وسلم) stated: “Whoever stands with the imām in the night prayer up until he has finished, his previous sins will be forgiven.”[2]

He (صلى الله عليه وسلم) also said: “Whoever stands to pray in the Night of Decree (Laylatul-Qadr) with Imān (faith) and hoping for reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.”[3]

Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) stated: “The best prayer after the obligations is the Night Prayer (Salāt Al-Layl).”[4]

He (صلى الله عليه وسلم) also said: “O people, spread salutations among yourselves, feed the people food, keep the family ties, and pray through the night whilst the rest of the people are sleeping―and you shall enter Paradise in peace.”[5]

Regarding the Tawāwīh prayer, Ā’ishah (رضي الله عنها) stated: “Allah’s Messenger went out in the middle of the night and prayed in Mosque, and the people prayed behind him. Then the following morning, the people spoke about it…” (Al-Bukhāri no. 924, Muslim no. 761) Through this, the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) established the Sunnah of the night prayer in Ramadān and in a congregation.

REFORM AND UP-TO-DATE WITH YOUR ACTIONS

▪️Shaykh Abdelrahman Ibn Nassir As-Sa'di - May Allah have mercy on him - said:

"Don't be sad about the things that escape you that Allah has not destined for you, such as losing health, money, job or others, your concern should be the fact of" reforming and catching up with your actions daily "because the person depends on his day.  You should not be sad about the past, or worry about the future, in case these worries are unnecessary.

Show sincerity, dignity and truthfulness in all relationships, and perform all your duties with sincere faith and a peaceful soul.

Take care of your affairs and shortcomings, leaving the affairs and shortcomings of people.  He treats everyone according to their situation, big or small, man or woman, boss or subject (subordinate).

Be gentle and kind to everyone, even animals, indeed Allah only shows mercy to his merciful servants. Be simple in all your affairs and open your mind to all (beneficial) religious or worldly teachings.”

Abu Huraira reported:

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, ascended the pulpit and he said, “Ameen, ameen, ameen.”

It was said, “O Messenger of Allah, you ascended the pulpit and said ameen, ameen, ameen.”

The Prophet said, “Verily, Gabriel came to me and he said: Whoever reaches the month of Ramadan and he is not forgiven, then he will enter Hellfire and Allah will cast him far away, so say ameen. I said ameen.

Whoever sees his parents in their old age, one or both of them, and he does not honor them and he dies, then he will enter Hellfire and Allah will cast him far away, so say ameen. I said ameen.

Whoever has your name mentioned in his presence and he does not send blessings upon you and he dies, then he will enter Hellfire and Allah will cast him far away, so say ameen. I said ameen.”

Three Levels of Sabr (Types of patience & perseverance)

The true sabr is foregoing the bounties of this life for the bounties of the next life. Sabr for the sake of Allah can be defined in three ways:

(1) Sabr fil’musibah (having sabr when facing difficulties)

This is when you show patience in the event of some difficulty. We all undergo difficulties, but the distinguishing factor is how we deal with them. Some people will get upset and continuously complain, but the believers will see difficulty as an opportunity to worship Allah سبحانه و تعالى‎ , they will exhibit a calmness and say alhamdulilah (all praise is to Allah) for the chance to come closer to Him. They’ll say innallahi wa ina’ilahi rajioun (from Allah we came and unto Him is our return).

(2) Sabr an’nil masiah (having the sabr to restrain from sin/ refraining from sins)
When the believer is faced with the opportunity to do sin, he will immediately turn away from it. This will require a certain sabr, a certain restraint, because the chance to do sin is all around us.

(3) Sabr a’la taha (sabr in the acts of worship / doing good deeds)
To develop a consistency in our routine, to patiently do our good deeds and worship without fail requires a deep sabr.

Ya Allah make us among the Muttaqeen, make us among the Muhsineen, make us among the Tawwabeen, make us among the Awabeen, make us among the Sabireen, and the Zakireen, and the Muqarrabeen,

THE END OF THE WORLD. https://www.kalamullah.com/theendoftheworld.html
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته.

The prophet (ﷺ) used to direct his household to perform a prayer when faced with any difficulty or calamity, and read this verse from the Qur'an:

وَأْمُرْ أَهْلَكَ بِالصَّلَاةِ وَاصْطَبِرْ عَلَيْهَا لَا نَسْأَلُكَ رِزْقًا نَّحْنُ نَرْزُقُكَ وَالْعَاقِبَةُ لِلتَّقْوَىٰ

And enjoin prayer on your followers, and steadily adhere to it; We do not ask you for subsistence; We do give you subsistence, and the (good) end is for guarding (against evil).
(Q,20:132).

The prophet (ﷺ) also let us know that the prophets before him also held fast to prayer when faced with difficulty:
"The former prophets also used to hold to prayer when faced with any tribulation or misfortune."
(Fadail al-Amal,249)

Yaa Allaah, You are The first and The last, The beginning and The End,
You are The Powerful and we are powerless.
Oh Allaah bless us in whatever we do, protect us wherever we go, light up every road we take with Your mercy and guidance, make our hopes and aspirations become reality and help us in every difficulties that comes our way., grant us the good of this world and the Hereafter, Birahmatikaah Yaa Rahman Yaa Rahim, Amiin.

Allah is the Most High, when we present prayers to Him, we should offer it in the best possible way. We should stand with clean and beautiful clothing, we should fully focus our attention and beautify our voice.

When you have an appointment with a king, or even your boss, you would wear the best dress, appear professional, wear perfume and remain fully focused to impress. You would not pick your nose, look around, etc.

Similarly, ولله المثل الأعلى , He is the Creator of the Universe, the King of Kings - when we stand in front of Him for prayer , we should be on our best behaviour.

DEBT IS A HUGE THING!

Dear sisters,

One of the most difficult things to pay back in life is debt. How much more if death overtakes us? I have been struggling to raise funds for a deceased brother in the last few days, and the amount l needed hasn't gone anywhere. Though, l wouldn't ever relent. Sometimes, I wish l can relieve people who are willing to pay up their debts, but due to one thing or another couldn't.

There is a tiny line between the 'willing to pay' and the 'l will not pay' come what may. If there is anything you should be fearful of, let it be debt.
Forget that the person is my sister, she will understand. No one will understand anything when it comes to debt. In fact, one should avoid borrowing if it is possible. This is because it is easy to borrow, but not easy to pay. I understand the circumstances that surround the unpaid debt, but let it be your prayer point to your Rabb!

The Prophet once passed by two companions who are arguing due to one owing the other, and all he did was ease the affairs for both of them. And that is the only thing we can offer our sisters. Pay your sister her right before death knock. And the creditor should also exercise patience and cover the fault of her sister. You were once friends. I pray Allah grant succor to your heart. I pray He assist the debtor to pay on time. It doesn't sound right that money is the cause of you brethren separation. Oh Muslim Sisters! Hold on to the rope of Allah and do not become enemies!

The power of dua is so real. Don’t ever doubt it especially during this month of Ramadan where Allah’s giving is much more. Where the gates of Jannah are all open. Where Allah frees His slaves from the hell-fire every night. Just think for a sec how kind Allah is to us this month
