Don't be gullible:

Once upon a time, the Lion became hungry and he said to the fox: '𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗮𝘁, 𝗼𝗿 𝗜 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂.'

The fox went to a donkey and said: '𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗲.'

When the Lion saw the donkey, it attacked her, cutting off its ears, but the donkey managed to escape. The donkey said to the fox: '𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗲! 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗲!'

The fox said: '𝗗𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘆! 𝗛𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀, 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱! 𝗟𝗲𝘁'𝘀 𝗴𝗼 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸.'

It made sense to the donkey, so it went back.

The Lion attacked the donkey again, this time cutting off its tail! The donkey escaped again, saying to the fox: '𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴! 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗺𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹!'

The fox said: '𝗛𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝘀𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗲! 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗲.'

The fox convinced the donkey to return again.

This time, the Lion caught the donkey and killed it.

The Lion said to the fox: '𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗸𝗲𝘆. 𝗡𝗼𝘄, 𝗴𝗼, 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀, 𝗹𝘂𝗻𝗴, 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁!'

The fox skinned the donkey, and ate the donkeys brain, but brought back its lung, liver and heart to the Lion. The Lion became angry and asked: '𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻?!'

The fox replied: '𝗜𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗻𝗼 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀, 𝗺𝘆 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗜𝗳 𝗶𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀, 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹.'

The Lion said: '𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲.'

Moral of the story:

The believers should be smart and pick up red flags early on. They should not be gullible, otherwise people will take advantage of them.

A rule of life,If you wouldn't like it done to you, don't do it to others.

Sometimes being kind allows others to see the goodness in humanity through you. Always be kinder than necessary and you may never know how even a little kind gesture from your end can create a massive impact on someone's life.

We often hear there's no kindness in this world, well if that's missing then you be the kindness.

“Verily, the (results of) deeds done, depend upon the last actions."
-Sahih al-Bukhari 6493

Ibn al-Jawzi said: "When the race horse knows that it is nearing the end of the track it exerts all of its effort to win the race. Do not allow the race horse to be more clever than you. For verily, deeds are judged by their conclusions. So if you didn't do well with welcoming Ramadan then perhaps you will do better bidding it farewell."

Ibn Taymiyyah said: "The lesson lies in perfection of the conclusion of a thing, not in the shortcomings of the beginning of it."

Do you Order Righteousness of the People and Forget Yourselves? – Ibn Rajab
Posted on February 24, 2015
by saad burbank

Ibn Rajab[1] rahimahullaah mentions in his ‘Lataaiful-Maaarif':

“A man said to Ibn Abbaas radiyAllaahu
anhumaa: “I want to enjoin the good and forbid the evil.”

So he said to him: “If you do not fear these three verses exposing you; then do so. Otherwise, begin with yourself.”

Then he recited:

“Do you order righteousness of the people and forget yourselves.”

[Sooratul Baqarah; (2):44]

And His saying – He the Most High:

لِمَ تَقُولُونَ مَا لَا تَفْعَلُونَ كَبُرَ مَقْتًا عِندَ اللَّهِ أَن تَقُولُوا مَا لَا تَفْعَلُونَ

“Why do you say that which you do not do? It is most hateful to Allaah that you say that which you do not do.”

[Sooratus-Saff; (61):2-3]

And His saying – regarding the story of Shuayb alayhis-Salaam – (where he said to his people):

وَمَا أُرِيدُ أَنْ أُخَالِفَكُمْ إِلَىٰ مَا أَنْهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ

“And I do not intend to differ from you in that which I have forbidden you.”

TAWAKKUL ON ALLAH

When it was mentioned to Umar bin al-Khattaab رضي الله عنه that a group of people arrived from Yemen claiming that they had Tawakkul and they departed without provisions for their journey, he رضي الله عنه said;

"These individuals are Muta'akkilun - they leave without any provisions, then beg the people - rather the person who has true Tawakkul on Allāh is the one who plants his seeds and trusts in Allāh."

The prophet (ﷺ) used to direct his household to perform a prayer when faced with any difficulty or calamity, and read this verse from the Qur'an:

وَأْمُرْ أَهْلَكَ بِالصَّلَاةِ وَاصْطَبِرْ عَلَيْهَا لَا نَسْأَلُكَ رِزْقًا نَّحْنُ نَرْزُقُكَ وَالْعَاقِبَةُ لِلتَّقْوَىٰ

And enjoin prayer on your followers, and steadily adhere to it; We do not ask you for subsistence; We do give you subsistence, and the (good) end is for guarding (against evil).
(Q,20:132).

The prophet (ﷺ) also let us know that the prophets before him also held fast to prayer when faced with difficulty:
"The former prophets also used to hold to prayer when faced with any tribulation or misfortune."
(Fadail al-Amal,249)

Yaa Allaah, You are The first and The last, The beginning and The End,
You are The Powerful and we are powerless.
Oh Allaah bless us in whatever we do, protect us wherever we go, light up every road we take with Your mercy and guidance, make our hopes and aspirations become reality and help us in every difficulties that comes our way., grant us the good of this world and the Hereafter, Birahmatikaah Yaa Rahman Yaa Rahim, Amiin.
Maybe someone needs to hear/ see this

“it may well be that you dislike a thing even though it is good for you, and it may well be that you like a thing even though it is bad for you. Allah knows and you do not know.”

Garlic, Honey & Apple Cider Vinegar (Sunnah style)

DISCLAIMER: This post is not advice. Always consult your doctor before taking. If you do, take at your own risk.

This is an excellent home remedy that you want to keep available at all times in your home. It's great as a preventative and for maintaining good health. There are some variations to this with the addition of other ingredients such as ginger, or cayenne pepper. The base mixture includes the three main ingredients of garlic, apple cider vinegar and honey. Each of these three ingredients have individual benefits on their own and in this mixture, a synergistic effect enhances the properties of each.

The apple cider vinegar must be unfiltered and the honey must be raw, unpasteurised (and preferably organic) honey for all the benefits to be realised. One of the main reasons honey is pasteurised is to speed up the packaging process (heating makes it flow much quicker) - so pretty much all honeys from supermarkets will be unsuitable.

This remedy is an immune stimulant, it lowers blood pressure as well as cholesterol (if you are someone who still believes in that hypothesis), it leads to fewer colds and infections, and is helpful in conditions such as gout, arthritis, and joint aches. It is also a good tonic for the digestive tract and benefits the skin, and is helpful in weight loss. In short, it is beneficial for a wide range of conditions as it is a general immune stimulant and enhancer. You can read the numerous articles on garlic, honey and vinegar elsewhere on this site.

Ingredients:
8 cloves of fresh garlic
1 cup (200ml) of unfiltered, unpasteurised organic apple cider vinegar
1 cup (200ml) of raw, unpasteurised honey
Small piece of ginger (this is optional but old ginger is best, not new ginger)

Instructions
Mix all the ingredients into a blender and mix at high speed for 45-60 seconds. Alternatively, you can put the garlic in first, blend well so it becomes fine - or you can use a garlic crusher instead - and then place in the blender, then mix in the honey and apple cider vinegar and blend for another 10-15 seconds seconds.

Then pour into a glass jar or container (sealable) and leave in the refrigerator for five days, with the occasional stir every day. After five days the mixture is ready.

Variations
There are other things that can be included. You can added a small amount of ginger (one or two inch length), you just put it in the blender with the garlic, and some cayenne pepper (one small to medium sized pepper) can also be added.

Dosage
The normal dosage is 2 tsp in a glass of water, daily, first thing in the morning. The mixture is very strong, and should not be taken directly.

A Subtle Connection in Surah al-Baqarah

Near the middle of surah al-Baqarah, Allah says:

"And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient, Who, when disaster strikes them, say, “Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.” Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the [rightly] guided." [155-157]

Allah then turns immediately to another subject, saying:

[ إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِن شَعَائِرِ اللَّهِ ۖ فَمَنْ حَجَّ الْبَيْتَ أَوِ اعْتَمَرَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ أَن يَطَّوَّفَ بِهِمَا ۚ وَمَن تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ شَاكِرٌ عَلِيمٌ]

"al-Safa and al-Marwah are among the symbols of Allah. So whoever makes Hajj to the House or performs 'umrah - there is no blame upon him for walking between them. And whoever volunteers good - then indeed, Allah is appreciative and Knowing." [158]

Commenting on the link between the first passage on sabr and the next on parts of the Hajj rituals, the authors of al-Tafsir al-Muharrar wrote:

[قيل: لأنَّه تعالى لَمَّا قال: وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ بِشَيْءٍ مِنَ الْخَوْفِ وَالْجُوعِ...، إلى قوله: وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ، قال: إنَّ الصَّفا والمروة من شعائر الله؛ وإنَّما جعلهما كذلك لأنَّهما من آثار هاجر وإسماعيل ممَّا جرى عليهما مِن البلوى]

Some have said: This link is that after mentioning "And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger ..." until "... but give good tidings to the patient", He then said, "al-Safa and al-Marwah are among the symbols of Allah".

The reason why He arranged it that way is because al-Safa and al-Marwa are both part of the legacy of Hajar and Isma'il and the tests that they underwent.

[al-Tafsir al-Muharrar, under the tafsir of surah al-Baqarah ayah 158]

Some doors didn't open because they weren't built for you. Some people left your world because they were only one page in the book not the entire book. Some desires have not fulfilled because the time is not right for them. Some of the stories have already ended because your story hasn't started yet. There are opportunities that are lost because you need more experience for the real success. Some aches last longer as the next relief is meant to stay longer. Therefore, trust Allah and His timings.

YOUR PARENTS...

The great Imaam, Muhammad bin al-Munkadir (d.130AH) رحمه الله said:

"My brother 'Umar spent the night in prayer (i.e. the tahajjud Salah) and I spent the night massaging my mother's feet, and I would NOT exchange my night with his night."

[Siyar 'Alaam an-Nubala 5/359]

An advice especially to our young, who are still living at home and not married. Make the most of your time with your parents, in being good to them and being at their service. When you start working, get married and have children إن شاء الله, you won't have the same opportunity and free time as you used to.

The Meaning and Ruling of Hijrah

The definition of Hijrah is: To abandon the Land of Shirk, i.e. to leave it, and to come to a Land of Islaam. This is since the word Hijrah is derived from the root hajr which means to abandon or leave off. The Muslims were commanded to abandon the Land of Shirk and go to the Land of Islaam. The ruling on Hijrah is that it is obligatory for the one who is able to do it. This is why Allaah informs us that there will be a group of people whom the angels will take in death while they are wronging themselves due to their lack of migrating and their preferring the Land of Shirk.

Allaah (سبحانه وتعالى) says: “Verily, as for those whom the angels take (in death) while they are wronging themselves (by not performing Hijrah), they (angels) will say (to them): ‘In what (condition) were you?’ They will reply: ‘We were weak and oppressed in the earth.’ They (angels) will say: ‘Was not the earth of Allaah spacious enough for you to migrate therein?’ Such men will find their abode in Hell – what an evil destination! Except the weak ones among men, women and children – who cannot devise a plan, nor are they able to direct their way. These are the ones whom Allaah is (most) likely to forgive, and Allaah is Ever Oft-Pardoning, Most Forgiving.” [Surah An-Nisaa: 97-99]

And He (سبحانه وتعالى) says: “O My servants who believe (in Me)! Verily, My earth is spacious so to Me alone, perform your worship.” [Surah Al-‘Ankaboot: 56]

Al-Baghawee (رحمه الله) said: “The reason for the revelation of this ayah was due to some Muslims who had resided in Makkah and did not migrate (to Madeenah). Allaah called out to them using the noscript of Eemaan (for them).”

We derive from these verses that Hijrah is obligatory on the one who is able to do it, which requires him to move from a Land of Disbelief to a Land of Islaam. This is since in a Land of Disbelief, the believer is exposed to harm and the government will be against him as opposed to in his favor. Even though he may be safe from harm, he will still not be safe from having to seek judgement in laws that are not from Allaah’s Legislation, such as man-made laws, which they use to govern the people.

However, Hijrah in our present time must only be done with the permission from the country that one is migrating to. So if the country refuses to accept this emigrant, then he has no ability or power in the matter except by Allaah’s leave.

Things used to be easy (in the old days). But as for today, there is difficulty in Hijrah either from the side of the country that one is migrating from or from the side of the country that one is migrating to. So whoever is able to make Hijrah, with ease and no difficulty, to a Land of Islaam, then such a person is obligated to do that. Furthermore, some of the Muslim countries today apply strict measures against those who adhere to the Religion of Allaah in everything that he brings and leaves behind.

In summary, any Muslim that lives in a country, which the disbelievers rule based on man-made laws, must migrate from it if he is easily able to do it. And if it is not easy for him, then according to what is apparent (from the texts), he is excused due to Allaah’s saying: “Allaah does not burden a soul with more than it can handle.” [Surah Al-Baqarah: 286]. And with Allaah lies the success.
