"Ibn Taymiyyah used to race towards the fulfilling of people's needs very earnestly, because he knew that every time he helped someone else, Allāh would help him."

No More Depression!

We get nervous, anxious, fatigued, lethargic, tensed, angry, sad, depressed, unhappy, moody. All are negative emotions that stem from the feeling of disliking and rejecting anything that goes wrong as per our mindset. Or when the things don't happen as per our desire or we don't like the happenings or we don't get what we aspire for.

All the above manifestations of our negative emotions are discussed in Psychology under the topic of mental health.

Lack of mental well-being damages our health and social life. It can lead to reduced appetite, gastrointestinal disturbances, suicidal thoughts and fights with nears and dears ones. The list of problems and damage goes on and on.

Two-three decades ago, the terminology of mental health was not known to the common man because people did not suffer from such neuroticism or exaggerated emotions. When people mentioned mental health or lack of it, what they meant was generally schizophrenia or madness.

But now the neurotic ailments like depression and anxiety have become so common that even kids as early as five years old are tensed and depressed.

*Why????*
Because we have been continually programmed to believe that "we can win", "we are as we think", "we create our own world", "our thoughts can change our reality", " you can get all that you aspire" etc.

Please tell me who created you? Who created nature, natural sceneries, natural phenomena?? Who created the wind, the heat, the beautiful moon, the love birds, the colourful fishes, beauty, goodess etc.

Furthermore, who created love, affection, kindness, and care even in the hearts of carnivores.

If you get the answers to my questions, you will be the happiest person in the world.

Very simple fact but made complicated.
Know and teach your children, students, and everyone that we are very tiny, weak and fragile creatures in this universe. Like a drop in the ocean, or an atom in the universe.

The one who created each and every thing creates the happenings and incidents. We can try to avail for ourselves the good and avert the bad, and we must try, but we must know that we may not always succeed.

We are not the creator of anything or even ourselves. The universe belongs to The One who created it. It is His kingdom. It is His sovereignty. His power is over all hearts, minds and emotions. We don't have absolute power over ourselves, let alone others.

Hence, we must ask Him to give us peace, comfort and happiness. If something goes wrong, we accept it because it happens with His Divine Wisdom.

When we develop the habit of accepting and adjusting the matters that are beyond our capacity and ask His help, we will be at peace and will get rid of all the mental problems.

This is what the last Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) taught us. He proclaimed daily, morning and evening.

I am perfectly content with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion and with Muhammad (SallaAllahu ‘alayhi wasallam) as my Prophet.

And this is the fallacy of the western world, where in their zeal to achieve self-determination they tend to dismiss the agency or hand of God. And if these self-efficacy beliefs are pushed to the extreme, making a person feel that 'I can be whatever I believe', it can infuse him with a misleading sense of control and omnipotence which is actually deceptive, and overwhelming in the long run. Such a misplaced and undeserved sense of power and control can give rise to existential anxieties and distress leading to chronic neurotic tendencies.

Islam is the only religion or belief system that can balance the unrealistic optimism of self-efficacy beliefs, and the fatalistic gloom of determinism.

Translation: Authentic Quotes
If you do not enjoin the good and forbid evil you're endangered. You're susceptible to divine punishment.

You're the best among all nations raised amongst mankind – you enjoin the good and forbid the evil and believe in Allah; and if the People who were given the Book(s) believed it would be better for them; some of them are believers (Muslims) and most of them disbelievers. ( Al Qur'an 3:110 )

Abu Saeed Al-Khudri (Radiallahuanhu) reported: The Messenger of Allah ( Sallallaahu Alaihiwasallam said, "Whoever amongst you sees an evil, he must change it with his hand; if he is unable to do so, then with his tongue; and if he is yet unable to do so, then with his heart; and that is the weakest of Faith". [Muslim]

This hadeeth (narration) contains a very important prenoscription to prevent the Muslim society from all things which are forbidden in Islam. So long as Muslims adhered to it and ceaselessly and fearlessly performed their obligation of enjoining the right and forbidding the wrong, their society would be largely safe from many evils and sins.

Nu
aman Ibn Basheer (Radiallahuanhu) reported: The Prophet ( Sallallaahu Alaihiwasallam) said: "The likeness of the man who observes the limits prescribed by Allah and that of the man who transgresses them is like a group of people who get on board a ship after casting lots. Some of them are in its lower deck and some of them in its upper (deck). Those in its lower (deck), when they require water, go to the occupants of the upper deck, and say to them: `If we make a hole in the bottom of the ship, we shall not harm you.' If they (the occupants of the upper deck) leave them to carry out their design they all will be drowned. But if they do not let them go ahead (with their plan), all of them will remain safe". [Al-Bukhari]

We learn from this hadeeth that consequences for committing acts which are forbidden in Islam are not confined only to those persons who commit them, but whole of society, all suffer its consequences. Example: Teaching and implementing Tawheed ( Islamic Monotheism ) to people. This is Allah's exclusive right to be worshipped by all and fundamentally not negotiable. If this is not happening as it should divine consequences become imminent and foreseeable. If this is overlooked and secondary issues heaped on people, such actions would soon prove counterproductive and all of society would suffer. Just like the Covid 19 pandemic that's mercilessly devouring victims.
*THE ONE WHO DENIES QADAR (Divine Decree)!*

By Sheikh-ul-Islam Muhammad bin Abdul-Wahhab rahimahullah
Chapter No: 60, _Kitab At-Tawheed, The Book of Monotheism_

Muslim reported that Ibn Umar (رضي الله عنهما) said:

"By Him (Allaah) in Whose Hand is the soul of lbn Umar, if anyone possessed gold amount to Uhud mountain and spent it all in the cause of Allaah, Allaah would not accept it unless he believes in Qadar (Divine Decree)." Then he cited as evidence the words of the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم: "Iman (Belief) is to believe in: 1) Allaah; 2) His angels; 3) His revealed Books; 4) His Messengers; 5) The Day of Resurrection and Al-Qadar (Divine Preordainments), the good and the bad of it."

It is reported by Ubadah bin As-Samit

He said to his son, "O son, you'll never get the taste of Iman until and unless you realize that what has afflicted you was not to miss you and what has missed you was not to afflict you. I heard Allaah's Messenger صلى الله عليه و سلم saying: 'The first thing Allaah created was the pen. He ordered it to write. It said: My Lord what shall I write? He said: Write down the Destinies of all things until the establishment of the Hour'. O my son, I hear Allaah's Messenger صلى الله عليه و سلم saying: 'Who dies believing something other than this, does not belong to me.' "

In a slightly different version by Ahmad:

"The first thing Allaah created was the pen. He said to it: 'Write' and in that very hour all what was to occur (was written) until the Day of Resurrection."

In another narration by Ibn Wahb, Allaah's Messenger صلى الله عليه و سلم said: "Whoever does not believe in Qadar (Divine Preordainment), whether good or bad, will be burned by Allaah in the Hell-fire."

It is reported in Musnad Ahmad and Sunan Abi Dawud on the authority of Ibn Ad-Dailami that he said:

I went to Ubai bin Ka'b (رضي الله عنه) and I said to him "There is something within me (doubt) -regarding Al-Qadar. Please narrate to me something that perhaps by it Allaah would take it (doubt) from my heart." He said, "Even if you spend gold equal to the weight of Uhud mountain, Allaah will not accept it until you believe in Qadar. And know that what has afflicted you was not to miss you and what has missed you was not to afflict you and if you die believing something other than this, then you are one of the people of Hell-fire." I then went to Abdullah bin Mas'ud, and Hudhaifa bin Al-Yaman and Zaid bin Thabit (رضي الله عنهم) and they all reported something similar from the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم to me.

The above quoted Hadith is Sahih. Al-Hakim reported it in his collection Sahih.

IMPORTANT ISSUES OF THE CHAPTER

1) Explanation of the obligation to believe in Al-Qadar.
2) Explanation of how to believe regarding it.
3) Uselessness of the deeds of one who does not believe in it.
4) No one can get the sweetness of Iman unless he believes in Qadar (Divine Preordainment).
5) A mention of what Allaah created first.
6) That the pen wrote down all the events to take place till the last day.
7) The Prophet's disapproval of whoever does not have belief in Qadar.
8) The habit of the pious predecessors to refer the matter to scholars to clear any doubts.
9) The scholars of Islam answered with what cleared all doubts regarding Qadar by only giving reference to the statements of Prophet

When Abū Ṭālib was in his death bed, the Prophet went to him while Abū Jahl was sitting beside him.

The Prophet said: "O my uncle! Say: "None has the right to be worshipped except Allāh, an expression I will defend your case with, before Allāh."

Abū Jahl and 'Abdullah b. Umaiya said: "O' Abū Ṭālib! Will you leave the religion of 'Abd al-Muṭṭalib?"

So they kept on saying this to him so that the last statement he said to them was: "I am on the religion of 'Abd al-Muṭṭalib."

Then the Prophet said: " I will keep on asking Allāh's forgivenesses for you unless I am forbidden to do so."

Then the following Verse was revealed: "It is not fitting for the Prophet and the believers to ask Allāh's forgiveness for the pagans, even if they were their are near relatives, after it has become clear to them that they are the dwellers of the Fire."

The other Verse was also revealed: "Verily, you guide not whom you like, but Allāh guides whom He wills."

As Muslims we see the world differently from the rest of the people.

When we see a person who is going through difficulties in life yet those difficulties are bringing him/her closer to Allah then we see that person to be blessed. While on the other hand when we see a person who is receiving more comforts and material possessions in this world yet those things take him away from Allah then we feel sad for that person.

Sometimes we see a who person gives 1 aed in charity to be more better than the person who gives 10000 in charity because that person who gave 1 aed had no savings at all while the other one probably gave just 1% of his net wealth.

We see a person of knowledge with 10 students to be better sometimes than the one with a million followers because the one with a million compromised on the religious guidelines placed by Islam for the propagation of religion to appeal to his audience while the one with 10 students stuck firmly to the principles.

A person who might have committed a major sin yet repented from it is seen to be better than the one who commits minor sins yet insists on not repenting.

Islam completely changes the way we look at the world and it's not something I can explain to you in words yet I wish you got the chance to experience it!

🌙 The sacred month of Dhul-Qa'dah ذو القعدة is here.

Let's take a moment to learn about this month together.

Dhul Qa'dah/Qi'dah is one of the four sacred months in the Islamic calendar (Dhul Hijjah, Muharram, and Rajab being the other three). These months were also deemed to be sacred in the times of Jahiliyyah.

A reason why these months were chosen was to protect pilgrims traveling to Makkah and back for Hajj and Umrah.

Remember, in those days, it took weeks to travel to other countries so many departed in Dhul Qa'dah.

Dhul Hijjah is the actual month of Hajj. Pilgrims would head home afterwards or in the following month, Muharram. Rajab is in the middle of the year in which many people went to perform Umrah.

Dhul-Qa'dah ذو القعدة was given its name due to bandits sitting (قعود) on the roadways waiting to attack and kill pilgrims heading towards Makkah.

As a result, killings, fighting, wars and expeditions became prohibited during these months.

Also, the severity of performing sins during these months are magnified.

Tumor disease Cancer is predominantly from magic, and from the impurities related to magic, if the hero of magic heals the patient, God willing, before you do not turn to chemical, go to the Qur’an, and make sure of your patient whether it is a natural disease or is it coming through magic, read the Qur’an for less than half an hour and see His response and whether he has symptoms or not.
May God heal every patient...

Sidr leaf is a cure for magic.

Al-Hafiz bin Hajar - may God have mercy on him - said:
To take seven leaves of green sidr and pulverize it between two stones.
Then he hits him with water and recites Ayat al-Kursi and al-Qawwal.
Then he would feel three senses from it and then take a bath with it
It removes everything that is in him and it is good for the man if he is kept away from his family.

TO SAY ''THIS WEALTH IS THE RESULT OF MY LABOUR AND KNOWLEDGE'' IS AGAINST TAUHID!

Chapter No: 49, Kitab At-Tauhid, The Book of Monotheism

Allah the Almighty said:

"And truly, if We give him a taste of mercy from us, after some adversity (severe poverty or disease, etc.) has touched him, he is sure to say: 'This is for me (due to my merit), I think not that the Hour will be established. But if I am brought back to my Lord, surely, there will be for me the best (wealth, etc.) with Him'. Then, We verily, will show to the disbelievers what they have done and We shall make them taste a severe torment. " (41:50)

Mujahid said, "(The Arabic words Haadha li mean) this is the result of my labour and I do deserve it."

Ibn Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) said, "(that it means) what is with me'.'

And the Statement of Allah:

قَالَ إِنَّمَآ أُوتِيتُهُ ۥ عَلَىٰ عِلۡمٍ عِندِىٓ‌ۚ

"He (Korah) said: This has been given to me only because of knowledge I possess." (28:78)

Qatadah (رحمه الله) said (in explanation of this verse): "This wealth was given to me because of my merit and experience in earning."

Others (scholars) said: "Because of knowledge from Allah that I particularly deserved from Him."

And this is the meaning of Mujahid's statement: "This was bestowed on me because of my high rank."

Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that he heard Allah's Messenger صلى الله عليه و سلم saying:

"Allah willed to test three Israelis who were a leper, a blind man and a bald headed man. So, he sent them an angel who came to the leper and said, 'What thing do you like most?' He replied, 'Good colour and good skin, for the people have a strong aversion to me.' The angel touched him and his illness was cured, and he was given a good colour and beautiful skin. The angel asked him, 'What kind of property do you like best?' He replied, 'Camels or cows' -Ishaq, the narrator is confused. So he (i.e. the leper) was given a pregnant she-camel, and the angel said (to him), 'May Allah bless you in it.' The angel then went to the bald-headed man and said, 'What thing do you like most?' He said, 'I like good hair and wish to be cured of this disease, for the people feel repulsion for me.' The angel touched him and his illness was cured, and he was given good hair. The angel asked (him), 'What kind of property do you like best?' He replied, 'Cows or camels.' The angel gave him a pregnant cow and said, 'May Allah bless you in it.' The angel went to the blind man and asked, 'What thing do you like best?' He said, '(I like) that Allah may restore my eyesight to me so that I may see the people.' The angel touched his eyes and Allah gave him back his eyesight. The angel asked him, 'What kind of property do you like best?' He replied, 'Sheep.' So he gave him a pregnant sheep. Afterwards, all the three pregnant animals gave birth to young ones, and multiplied and brought forth so much that one of the (three) men had a herd of camels filling a valley, and one had a herd of cows filling a valley, and one had a flock of sheep filling a valley. Then the angel, disguised in the shape and appearance of a leper, went to the leper and said, 'I am a poor man, who has lost all means of livelihood while on a journey. So none will satisfy my need except Allah and then you. In the Name of Him Who has given you such nice colour and beautiful skin, and so much property, I ask you to give me a camel so that I may reach my destination'. The man replied, 'I have many obligations (so I cannot give you).' The angel said, 'I think I know you. Were you not a leper to whom the people had a strong aversion? Weren't you a poor man, and then Allah gave you (all this property).' He replied, '(This is all wrong).

BEING PLEASED WITH THE DECREE OF ALLAH

When a woman becomes sick or is afflicted by something, or one of her relatives or children are afflicted by something, she becomes angry at what afflicted her, and she may use detestable statements; this is in opposition to submitting to the Decree of Allah and His preordination.

Therefore, it is obligatory upon the Muslim woman that she is pleased with the Decree of Allah and His preordination. For it came in the long hadeeth of Jibreel in clarification of Islam, faith, and Ihsan so he said about faith, "... to believe in Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers, The Last Day, and to believe in the Pre Decree, the good of it and the bad of it."*

Every person has to experience 8 things no matter who they are.

Happiness and Sadness,
Meeting and Seperation,
Difficulty and Ease,
Illness and wellbeing.

So don’t be shocked and surprised when you go from happiness to sadness, and from wellbeing to illness, etc.

Allah ﷻ says:

The problem in our Ummah is that Muslims set wrong priorities. We pay more attention to visible rituals and neglect the real purpose of Islam. It's the most important, it's Al-Akhlaq [manners, character]. When we visit the masjid, pray, fast and more, these are rituals. But what is with your ego, your nafs, what we should control also?

Many of us have tongues like knives, are notorious, are not on time, lie without shame, abuse the trust [amanah], judge above others without any right, can't control their sexual instincts, jealousy, greed, anger, are racist, are not merciful to each other and intolerant.

The rituals are coherent with your Al-Akhlaq [manners]. We should start to overthink about our nafs. Surely nobody is perfect and or without of flaws, but we should strive for knowledge for being a better human in future, inshaAllah.

“Two hungry wolves let lose among a flock of sheep are no less destructive to the flock than the desire of a man for wealth and status are to his religion.”

(At-Tirmidhī no. 2376, Ahmad no. 15794—authenticated by Al-Albānī)

There are those who do not care that their earnings are harām due to their love of wealth—it outstrips their fear of Allāh and His punishment. And there are those who love fame, status, limelight and leadership and will do whatever it takes to attain them. So, we seek refuge with Allah from the evil of our souls and from our sinful actions—we ask Allah for sincerity, humbleness and humility.

When Allaah intends to punish a person, He تعالى provides for him from the luxuries of the world, even if he was still sinning.

You would see the sinners earning in millions, having huge apartments, owning many buildings and towers, riding in luxurious cars ranging from hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars, having investments in this country and properties in that country, going on vacations, traveling around the world. He would be swimming in the all luxuries of the world possible.

One would be deceived to believe that Allaah is giving it to them because He loves them.

When Allaah loves a person, He تعالى withholds from him, so that he is made humble, weak, and needy. And in this state of weakness he is required to raise him hands towards Allaah in supplication to fulfill his needs. And then Allaah answers his supplications.

But when He تغالى wants to punish a person, He provides for him, and keeps providing for him, and in the midst of all this, He تعالى makes him suffer in all that which He has given him. The person with all the people around him still feels lonely; with all the luxuries with him still feels empty; with all the wealth with him still feels miserable.

And that nation, when they deviated from the path…

{So, when they forgot (the warning) with which they had been reminded,} (6:44)

What should have been the outcome?! Did Allaah take away their luxuries and wealth?! NO!

{So, when they forgot (the warning) with which they had been reminded, We opened to them the gates of every (pleasant) thing} (6:44)

Take and enjoy... but this joy was temporary...

{until in the midst of their enjoyment in that which they were given} (6:44)

When they were intoxicated with the luxuries of this world and chasing their desires, and nothing of the Hereafter mattered to them…

{We took them to punishment, and lo! They were plunged into destruction with deep regrets and sorrows.} (6:44)

{So the roots of the people who did wrong were cut off. And all the praises and thanks be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds.} (6:45)

May Allaah keep us humble and upon guidance.

They wage war against us through audible broadcasts and writings to the extent that the family and friends wage war against this stranger- the one adhering to the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of Allaah’s Messenger.
However, despite this, we are happy with this strangeness and we take pride in it because the Messenger of Allaah (sallal laahu alayhi wasallam) praised the
strangers.

He (sallal laahu alayhi wasallam) said: ‘’Indeed Islaam began as (something) strange and it will return being strange just as it began, so toobaa (i.e. a tree in paradise or something good) is for the strangers.” It was said, who are they O Messenger of Allaah? He said: ‘’They are those rectify (i.e. themselves and others) when the people become corrupted.’’

When we love and hate for Allah, it means that we should remove our personal emotions from the affair...

To love and hate for the sake of Allah also means to set a limit and draw a line so that all your love or hate is in line with Islamic principles. The limit should be that a person’s love or loyalty should not allow us to become blinded so if any form of transgression is committed by the one who is loved then we are able to condemn it with good character and detach when necessary.

Loving for Allah’s sake is not to let any position, award, noscript, perks etc to oversee corruption especially regarding the trajectory of a project.

Hating purely for Allah’s sake, on the flip side, means an individual remains just in their dislike and not let shaytaan make the matter personal so the hatred pushes them to spread misinformation or speak without verifying information. Our religion teaches us to be just against all and to follow the Islamic method of judgment.

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever loves for the sake of Allah, hates for the sake of Allah, gives for the sake of Allah, and withholds for the sake of Allah has perfected the faith.”
