The Reward for Bearing the Loss of a Loved One with Hope & Patience
Narrated Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه,
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said:
يَقُولُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى مَا لِعَبْدِي الْمُؤْمِنِ عِنْدِي جَزَاءٌ، إِذَا قَبَضْتُ صَفِيَّهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا، ثُمَّ احْتَسَبَهُ إِلاَّ الْجَنَّةُ
"Allah says, 'I have nothing to give but Paradise as a reward to my believer slave, who, if I cause his dear friend (or relative) to die, remains patient (and hopes for Allah's Reward')."

Don't hold on to toxic moments. Let go for your own sake.
Every single person we have in our life, has at some point hurt us. It’s natural, misunderstandings occur, fights occur, sometimes people don’t realize they’re being hurtful and sometimes they do it on purpose. One way or another, people scar us. And sometimes its the people closest to us that deliver the deepest wounds.
Although I know how hard it can be to let go, to forgive, and most importantly to forget, I feel like its most toxic to yourself if you keep probing your wounds.
Instead of trying to hold close the memory of how a particular person hurt you,betrayed you or caused you pain, try and hold close a memory of them where they helped you, or made you smile, or showed their love for you. It could be the simplest of memories, a moment where you laughed together, a smile, a hug, tears shared together, anything. But hold that good moment close,and use it as your mask to cover up the painful moments. Use those good moments to remind yourself that people aren’t all bad, they just have certain negative qualities. Use those good moments to slowly be able to let go of the bad ones, so the pain feels less intense.
I’m not going to lie, although doing this makes it easier to forgive, it does not make it easy to forget. I think that’s something no one can do really, forget the pain. But it will majorly help you to remember the pain less often, it will numb down the intensity of the hurt and it will grant peace to your own heart.
Whenever you do find yourself drifting back to aching memories of a certain person, pull out a good memory and make a heartfelt, good Dua for the person. I promise you, making Dua for someone is the best cure for your own heart.
May Allah ease all our pains and make us those of His slaves, who are able to forgive and let go of grudges.

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
”I once attended fajr prayer with Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله; he then sat and remembered Allāh until it was nearly midday. He then turned around and said to me,

Whenever you’re oppressed, thank Allah that you were not the oppressor, because Allah says:

The 4 categories of people during the congregational prayers:
بسم الله والحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله ، وبعد
During the congregational prayers, in regards to following the Imaam, people are divided into four groups:
🚫 The “Forerunners”: Those who precede the Imaam in their bowing and prostration and getting up from them. It is like some race or competition as to who will do it first, the Imaam or those who are praying behind him. They do their action even before the Imaam says the Takbeer (Allaahu Akbar).
🚫 The “Coinciders”: Those who do the actions simultaneously with the Imaam. They don't want to precede the Imaam but they also don’t want to be left behind. They will bow and prostrate with the Imaam. They do their actions while the Imaam is still saying the Takbeer. (Many people come under this category).
✔ The “Followers”: Those who follow the Imaam in his actions. They do not precede him, nor do it simultaneously with him. They wait for the Imaam to complete the Takbeer before doing the required action.
🚫 The “Delayers”: They do not precede the Imaam, nor do they coincide with him, but they also don't follow him in the true sense. They do not follow the Imaam even after he has said the Takbeer. They will keep doing the Adhkaar and wait for a little longer before joining the Imaam.

Every time someone dies, it drives me into thinking, how many more news of death do we have to hear before we start obeying Allāh? Wallahi, we will be forgotten as if we’ve never existed. I remember the words of the messenger, صلى الله عليه وسلم, as reported by Imaam Ahmad, “The dunya (life of this world) is the residence of those who have no residence, the wealth of those who have no wealth, and it is harvested by those who have no sense of reason.” The great mufassir, Ibn Kathir quotes this in his tafseer of Surah Al-Baqarah. And the words of ‘Ali, radiyallahu anhu, “The people are asleep, and when they die they wake up.” We face trials everyday, we make mistakes, and we sin, but that shouldn't hinder us from fixing ourselves. Maybe our time to leave this world is just around the corner. But you know what, it’s never too late for us to come back to our senses. الله المستعان

EEMAAN & YAQEEN.
From Abu Faras -a man who was from the Asslami tribe - who said:
‘A man called out and said:
يا رسول الله! ما الإيمان؟
‘O Messenger of Allaah! What is Eemaan?’
The Messenger said:
"الإخلاص".
‘Al-Ikhlaas (sincerity).’
In another wording: the Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) said:
"سلوني عما شئتم".
‘Ask me whatever you wish.’
A man called out: O Messenger of Allaah! What is Islaam?’ The Messenger said:
"إقامُ الصلاةِ، وإيتاء الزكاة".
‘Establishing the prayer and giving Zakat.’
The man said: ‘Then what is al-Eemaan?’ The Messenger (salallaahu alaihiwa-salaam) said:
"الإخلاصُ".

(certainty)?

ِAllah reminds us: “O mankind, eat from whatever is on earth [that is] lawful (ḥalāl) and 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 (ṭayyib) and do not follow the footsteps of Shayṭān. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy. (Surah al-Baqarah 2:168)

The sahaabah رضي الله عنهم viewed money as a source of succour to the deen.
In the Hadith Qudsii reported by Ahmad and At Tabaraanee, which was authenticated by Al Albaniyy:
"Allaah says we don't make money except to establish Salah and pay Zakaah...."
To the well-to-do in the society, the essence of the money given to you by Allaah is for the promotion of His Deen. The part of it spent on yourself, your family, and in the course of Allaah are for you. As for those kept, they are for your heirs, even though you would account for all in the sight of Allaah.
The Prophet was reported to have said that the feet of a man will not move an inch in the sight of Allaah until he is able to answers five questions; two of them concern how he got his wealth and what he spent it on!
Are you using your money for good or otherwise? You own many houses in different parts of the country _barakallahu feehi,_ but ask yourself "How many masjid have you built for Allaah's sake?" "How many houses have you built for the poor, widows and orphans?" "What are the ways you are contributing towards the progress of Islam within your capacity?"
Before your last breath, ponder over this and turn a new leaf as the death can come your way anytime.
May Allaah grant us good end. Aameen

Without sugar coating: most of our pain comes from two things:
● our love of and attachment to other than Allah.
● weakness in our iman in the Qadar of Allah.
What we call emotional and mental states are predominantly shaped by the state of our iman and our love.
Allah says [meaning] ((those who do works of righteousness, male or female, from a state of iman, We shall grant him/her a good life)) surah an-Nahl, verse 97
● our love of and attachment to other than Allah.

Then he recited this verse (about bad people):

Neither heaven nor earth wept over them, nor was their fate delayed.

If You Were To Truly Place Your Trust In Allaah
Al-Imaam Ibnul-Qayyim, may Allaah have mercy upon him:
فلو توكل العبد على الله تعالى حق توكله وكادته السموات والأرض ومن فيهن لجعل له مخرجا من ذلك وكفاه ونصره.
"If the slave places his trust in Allaah as He truly deserves, and the heavens and the earth with all its inhabitants were to plot against him, Allaah would surely make a way out for him, suffice him, and aid him."
[Badaa'i Al-Fawaaid, 2/240]
Al-Imaam Ibnul-Qayyim, may Allaah have mercy upon him:

****Method of self-ruqya
1) Sit down in a quiet area with the intention to make ruqya on yourself. Ensure there are no children running around or the tv is not on in the background. You shouldn't be disturbed. Have a glass of water and a 2 or 5 liter bottle of water handy.
2) Seek refuge in Allah from the shaytaan three times - Aouthubillahi min-ash-shaytaan arrajeem
3) Mention the name of Allah three times - bismillahir-rahman nir-raheem
4) Read sura fatiha three times
5) Read ayatul kursi three times
6) Read last two ayaat or surat al baqarah three times
7) Read sura ikhlas / falaq / nas three times each
8 ) Recite ayaat of sihr three times each - 2:102 / 7:115 - 121 / 10:79 - 82 / 20: 65 - 70
9) Spittle into the glass of water and also spittle into the bottle of water
10) Drink the water in the glass. Ensure you say bismillah
11) Drink the water in the bottle in the morning / evening / night
12) Make ghusl with the remaining water in that bottle ie. Pour that water over your head and ensure it touches all of your body (it's best you don't let the ruqya water go down the drain so whenever possible put the plug in and collect the water, put it into the garden afterwards inshallah).
13) Each day you should be reciting into a fresh bottle and drinking it three times a day and making ghusl with it at night - any water is fine including tap water insha'Allah
14) If you have movements in your stomach or bloatedness then purchase senna leaves and make tea with them and drink every day for two weeks
15) Drink a tablespoon of honey and a tablespoon of black seed oil every day
16) You can also put some of the water you've recited on into a spray bottle and spray the corners of every room in your house
17) Make duaa
18) Once every two weeks, have cupping (hijama)
Insha'Allah if you follow the course above, Allah will cure you. Have high hopes and be optimistic of a cure.

8 ) Recite ayaat of sihr three times each - 2:102 / 7:115 - 121 / 10:79 - 82 / 20: 65 - 70
9) Spittle into the glass of water and also spittle into the bottle of water
10) Drink the water in the glass. Ensure you say bismillah
11) Drink the water in the bottle in the morning / evening / night
12) Make ghusl with the remaining water in that bottle ie. Pour that water over your head and ensure it touches all of your body (it's best you don't let the ruqya water go down the drain so whenever possible put the plug in and collect the water, put it into the garden afterwards inshallah).
13) Each day you should be reciting into a fresh bottle and drinking it three times a day and making ghusl with it at night - any water is fine including tap water insha'Allah
14) If you have movements in your stomach or bloatedness then purchase senna leaves and make tea with them and drink every day for two weeks
15) Drink a tablespoon of honey and a tablespoon of black seed oil every day
16) You can also put some of the water you've recited on into a spray bottle and spray the corners of every room in your house
17) Make duaa
18) Once every two weeks, have cupping (hijama)
Insha'Allah if you follow the course above, Allah will cure you. Have high hopes and be optimistic of a cure.

“One of the hallmarks of a soft heart in a Believer is that they experience pain and empathy when their Muslim brother stumbles. This empathy is so strong that it feels as if they have stumbled themselves. As a result, they should avoid rejoicing in the misfortune of their fellow Muslim.”
