Whenever you feel alone, sad or misunderstood remember...
Prophet Ibrahim alayhi salam when his whole community rejected him, including his father, and placed him in a burning fire.
Prophet Yusuf alayhi salam when his own brothers sold him for a measly amount, out of jealousy and hatred for him.
Maryam alayhi salam when she had to give birth to her baby alone, and then return to her people to face them.
Hajar radiAllahu anha when she was left alone with her baby in a desert with little provision.
The mother of Musa alayhi salam when she had to cast her newborn baby into the flowing river.
Due to the taqwa and unwavering tawakkul that each of the above mentioned people had, Allah showed them a way out, even when the odds were entirely against them.
Allah Almighty cooled the fire for Ibrahim alayhi salam and he emerged unharmed.
Allah raised the status of Yusuf alayhi salam high above his brothers and granted him a position of authority and dignity.
Allah caused the newborn baby Eesa to speak and prove his mother's innocence.
The well of Zamzam sprung up from the barren land and from it was borne the city of Makkah.
The baby Musa was returned to his mother within a few hours of her casting him into the river.
So, when you feel like there is no way out, know that when you truly believe that Allah is with you, there will always be a way out. When your tawakkul in Allah is strong He will perform miracles, just as He did for those that passed before you.

PROHIBITION OF EVIL THOUGHTS REGARDING ALLAH!
Chapter No: 59, Kitab At-Tauhid, The Book of Monotheism
Allah the Almighty said:
"They thought wrongly of Allah -the thought of ignorance. They said, 'Have we any part in the affair?' Say you (O Muhammad (صلي الله عليه وسلم ): 'Indeed the affair belongs wholly to Allah.' They hide within themselves what they dare not reveal to you, saying: 'If we had anything to do with the affair, none of us would have been killed here.' Say: 'Even if you had remained in your homes, those for whom death was decreed would certainly have gone forth to the place of their death,' but that Allah might test what is in your breasts; and to Mahis[1] that which was in your hearts (sins), and Allah is All-Knower of what is in (your) breasts." (3:154)
Allah the Most Exalted said:
ٱلظَّآنِّينَ بِٱللَّهِ ظَنَّ ٱلسَّوۡءِۚ عَلَيۡہِمۡ دَآٮِٕرَةُ ٱلسَّوۡءِۖ
"Who think evil thoughts about Allah, for them is a disgraceful torment."
(48:6)
Ibn Al-Qaiyim (رحمه الله) said regarding the first verse: "The thought of ignorance is explained as meaning that Allah عز وجل will not help the Messenger (صلى الله عليه و سلم) and his mission will soon fade away. It is also explained as meaning that the afflictions he suffered were not due to Divine Preordainment from Allah and His Wisdom. It is therefore explained as the denial of Wisdom and Decree and denial that the mission of His Messenger (صلى الله عليه و سلم) would be completed and that it would prevail over all other religions. These were the evil thoughts in the minds of Munafiqun (hypocrites) and Mushrikun (polytheists) which are mentioned in Surat Al-Fath as Su'-uz-Zan (evil thoughts). Su'-uz-Zan (evil thoughts) are against what is befitting the Most Perfect. Neither do they befit His Wisdom and Praiseworthiness nor His True Promise. Any person who thinks that the falsehood (Satan, polytheism etc.) will prevail over truth (Islamic Monotheism) continuously and it would cause truth to vanish; or who denies that things occur due to Allah's Decision and Decree; or who denies an overriding wisdom behind His Decree that is deserving of praise and thinks that such is due to an arbitrary purposeless will: these are the thoughts of those who disbelieve. Woe to those who disbelieve of the punishment of Hell.
"Most people think the worst of Allah with regards to what affects them in particular and what He does with others. No one is safe from that, except who truly knows Allah and His Names and Attributes, and the necessity of His Wisdom and Praise. Let the intelligent recipient of good advice look closely at himself in this matter and let him repent to Allah and beg His forgiveness for having harbored the worst thought about his Lord. If you were to look closely at (such individuals), you would see in him distress and annoyance with what Allah has decreed, blaming and finding fault in it, and thinking, it should rather be such and such. In this thought, some are up to lesser extent and others up to greater. Examine yourself: Are you free from such thoughts? If you are saved from it you have been saved from a great calamity. But if not, I cannot regard you as saved!"
IMPORTANT ISSUES OF THE CHAPTER
1) Explanation of the verse in Al-Imran (3:154).
2) Explanation of the verse in Surat Al-Fath (48:6).
3) Notice that the worst estimation of Allah (Su'-uz-Zan) is of uncounted variety.
4) Only the person who knows himself and (true meaning of) the Names and Attributes of Allah is safe from harboring such thoughts.

“HEARTFELT ADVICE TO A FRIEND ”
In this short yet substantial tract of ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah be pleased with him),
he pens a message of heartfelt advice and appreciation to a friend of his by the name of 'Ala' Al-Din; invoking Allah's Kindness, Guidance and Blessing upon him.
Within this translation of 'Risalatu ibn al-Qayyim ila' Ahadi Ikhwawanihi', the author explains the finer points of needing seeking Allah's guidance in all of our affairs and the means to persist upon the Straight Path.
This is one of the most beautiful and amazing pieces of advice by the great scholar Imam Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah be pleased with him):

Heartfelt Advice To A Friend
Good advice to friend
💯4👍3
After what transpired between Yusuf عليه السلام and his brothers, and they finally realised their long lost brother whom they had plotted against years ago was thesame Minister of Egypt, they were overcome by shame and remorse and they sought his forgiveness, which was granted. Then they said
By Allāh! Allāh has prefered you over us...
Imagine for a second that as soon as the thoughts entered their heart that Yusuf was more beloving to their father than they were, they said "well, perhaps Allāh preferred him over us, that's why our father loves him more" then the seeds of envy planted by that thought may have never found place to grow in their hearts. Consequently, they may have never considered plotting to kill Yusuf and saved themselves from all the sin and trials.
In life you will find people favored much more than you do in certain regards; a colleague who is most loved by the boss, a friend who owns a car before you, a mate who gets a job or university admission before you, even a co-wife whom, try as your husband may to hide it, is loved more than you... you will find such people and find yourself wishing that was you, and perhaps you feel envy brew up in your heart. Were you to simply just embrace Qadr and say perhaps Allāh has prefered him or her to you in that regards, and Allāh is just in whatever He does, you will have found that any ill will you may have had towards that person will die a natural death.
As conscious Muslims, we don't question Allāh in His distribution of His dominion. He may give to someone what you fervently pray for and withhold it from you. It is His dominion and He distributes it as He wills. Ours is to put our trust in Him and accept whatever He releases unto us as what is best. May Allāh grant us the ability to tame our hearts and protect us from the evils of envy.

The purpose of life’s hardships is to test our sincerity
Do the people think that they will be left alone on saying, “We believe,” and that they will not be tested? We did test those before them, and Allah will certainly know those who are true from those who are false. (29:2-3)

It was narrated from Abu’l-‘Alaa’ ibn al-Shukhayr that ‘Uthmaan said, “O Messenger of Allaah, the Shaytaan comes between me and my prayer and recitation.” He [the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “That is a shaytaan (devil) called Khanzab. If you feel him then seek refuge with Allaah from him and spit drily to your left three times.” He ‘[Uthmaan] said: I did that and Allaah kept him away from me.
Narrated by Ahmad, 4/216; Muslim, 4/1728-1729; ‘Abd al-Razzaaq, 2/85, 499, no. 2582, 4220; Ibn Abi Shaybah, 7/419, 10/353; Ibn al-Sunni in ‘Aml al-Yawm wa’l-Laylah, p. 272, no. 577.

One of the most deceitful tricks and plots of Shayṭān that I have observed is his attempts to ruin the affluent by beguiling them with long, wishful hopes and indulging in worldly pleasure. He severs them from the Hereafter and its deeds.
Once Shayṭān succeeds in attaching people’s heart to money, he then encourages them to pursue it and hoard it. His guile leads them to become miserly. But it does not stop there. Within this deception is concealed another perversion, he makes the person careless about how he earns his money. …
On the other end of the spectrum, his deception continues. He comes in the guise of a sincere advisor who cares for your religion. He actually encourages believers to forswear worldly pleasures and renounce them, and eventually scares them from earning a lawful living! This is Shayṭān at his best!
The intelligent person should keep and maintain his wealth. He should work hard to earn a living that suffices him so he does not end up having to play sycophant to a tyrant or put up a false front with the ignorant. Earn money so you can be someone who gives charity rather than receiving it. Be the champion who is self-sufficient, and not a person who needs to beg.

It is narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (s) told us about UFOs.
Narrated Usaid bin Hudair:
That while he was reciting Surat Al-Baqara (The Cow) at night, and his horse was tied beside him, the horse was suddenly startled and troubled. When he stopped reciting, the horse became quiet, and when he started again, the horse was startled again. Then he stopped reciting and the horse became quiet too. He started reciting again and the horse was startled and troubled once again. Then he stopped reciting and his son, Yahya was beside the horse. He was afraid that the horse might trample on him. When he took the boy away and looked towards the sky, he could not see it. The next morning he informed the Prophet who said, "Recite, O Ibn Hudair! Recite, O Ibn Hudair!" Ibn Hudair replied, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! My son, Yahya was near the horse and I was afraid that it might trample on him, so I looked towards the sky, and went to him. HEADACHES 📚Abu Said al-Khudri radiallahu anhu that the Prophet sallahu alayhi wa salam said:
صُداعُ المؤمنِ ، أو شوكةٌ يُشاكُها ، أو شيءٌ يُؤذيه ؛ يرفعُه اللهُ بها يومً القيامةٍ درجةً ، ويُكفِّرُ عنه بها ذنوبَه
“The headache that afflicts the believer, or a thorn that pricks him/her, or anything that harms him/her, Allah will raise him/her a degree on the day of resurrection and expiate his/her sins due to it”
[Saheeh Targheeb no. 3434]
Also, not having headaches is a bad sign because the people destined to go the Hell-fire do not have headaches:Abu Hurairah radiallahu anhu said:
The Prophet sallahu alayhi wa salam said::
“…Have you ever felt a headache? The man said: What is a headache? He sallau alayhi wa salam said: A vein that beats in the head of a person. The man said: No I have not experienced that ever! The Prophet sallahu alahyhi wa salam said: Whoever would like to see a man from the people of the Hell-fire, then look at this man!”
[Reported in Ibn Hibban and graded Hasan Saheeh by al-Albani in Saheeh Mawaarid no. 580]
Having headaches are a sign of the People of Imaan and the People of Jannah.

On the authority of Abu Zayyaat al-Qushairi rahimahullah said: “We entered upon Abu Darda radiallahu anhu to visit him, when a Bedouin entered upon him. So he said: Where is your Ameer? And Abu Darda was the ameer then. So we said: He is complaining of some pain. The man said: I have not complained of anything or he said: I did not experience a headache ever! Abu Darda radiallahu anhu said: Remove him from me, so he dies from his sins. I do not love that for every pain/sickness that I feel that I am given red camels. For verily, the pain/illness of a believer is an expiation for his sins”[Reported by Bayhaqi in Shuab al-Imaan no. 9436 and the Muhaqiq of the Book Mukhtaar Ahmad Nadwi graded it Jayyid]

*Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali رحمه الله said:*
“Whoever is mindful of Allāh when he is young and strong, Allāh will take care of him when he is old and has become weak, and will bless him with good hearing, eyesight, strength and reasoning.
One of the scholars who lived beyond the age of one hundred years and enjoyed good strength and reasoning, jumped up in a lively manner one day and was asked about that. He said: “I kept these physical faculties from sin when I was young and Allāh has preserved them for me now that I am old.”
The opposite also applies; one of the salaf saw an old man begging from people and said: “This is a weak man who ignored Allāh when he was young, so Allāh is ignoring him now he has grown old.”
*[Jaami’ al-‘Uloom wal-Hikam, 1/186]*

From Anas bin Malik –Radhi Allaahu anhu– said: ‘I used to serve the Prophet –sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam – and when he would take a break on his journey, I would hear him saying a lot:
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ، وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ
‘O Allaah indeed I seek refuge with You from anxiety and sadness and weakness and laziness and being miserly and being cowardly and having a burdensome debt and being overpowered by people.’
[Collected by Bukhari]
Allaahumma inni Audhubika min al-Humm wal Huznn wal Ajz Wal Kasl wal Bukhl wal Jubnn wa Dhalla’ ad-Dayyn wa Ghalabut ar-Rijjal.
Ibn al-Qayyim commented on this Dua:
‘The Messenger sought refuge from eight matters, and every two have an affiliate:
Anxiety and sadness have a connection and they are both, pain of the soul and they torture it. The difference between them is:
Anxiety is expecting evil in the future, and sadness is feeling pain for a disliked matter which occurred in the past or missing out on a precious opportunity. Both anxiety and sadness are painful and punishment which befall the soul, so if it is connected to the past then it is called sadness and if it is connected to the future it is called anxiety.
Incapability and laziness are affiliated and they are both from the means of pain, because they both necessitate missing out on a precious opportunity.
Incapability dictates not having the ability. Laziness dictates not having the intent, so the soul feels pain due to missing out on a precious opportunity. Its amount is relative to how much the soul is attached to that opportunity that it missed out on, and the delight for it when it is attained and from its sweetness.
Being cowardly and miserly are affiliated because they do not benefit with wealth and physically, and they are from the means of pain. This is because a cowardly person misses out on beloved matters, happiness and great delight which cannot be acquired except with sacrifice and courage. Miserliness also prevents that which is much lesser than delight etc. These two characteristics are the greatest means for pains.
A burdensome debt and being overpowered by people are affiliated and they are painful for the soul and torture it. One is a truthful overpowering, which is being burdened with a debt and the second is a false overpowering, which is being overpowered by people. Also, a burden of debt is overpowering, generally due to reasons by the worshipper, the overwhelming of being overpowered by people is without choice.’

"O My servants, I have forbidden oppression for Myself and have made it forbidden amongst you, so do not oppress one another.”
-Sahih Muslim 2577

The virtue of Isha and Al Fajr prayers
Abu Hurayra {R.A) reported that the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ said, "And if they only knew what was in the prayers of 'Isha' and Subh [Fajr], they would come to them even if they had to crawl."
📚 [Al-Bukhari & Muslim]
📚 [Muslim]
Abu Hurairah (R.A) reported :
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No Salat is more burdensome to the hypocrites than the Fajr (dawn) prayer and the `Isha' (night) prayer; and if they knew their merits, they would come to them even if they had to crawl to do so.''
📚 [Al-Bukhari & Muslim].

Uthman bin ‘Affan (R.A) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "One who performs Isha' prayer in congregation, is as if he has performed Salat for half of the night. And one who performs the Fajr prayer in congregation, is as if he has performed Salat the whole night.''📚 [Muslim]

All people have flaws: the blind King’s story
Imam Shafi'ii says in a poem:
لسانك لاتذكر به عورة امرئ
فكلك عورات وللناس ألْسُنُ
وعينك إن أبدت إليك معايبا
فدعهاوقل ياعين للناس أعينُ
''𝙇𝙚𝙩 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙪𝙚 𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙖𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧,
𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙚

Once upon a time, there lived an honest king who was blind in one eye. He asked some painters to paint him correctly, but hide his flaws. One of them painted him with two eyes. The king put him in prison for flattery and dishonesty, as the king had lost one eye. The second person drew him with his flawed eye. The king put him in prison as well, for highlighting the kings flaws. The third painter was clever, he painted the king from the side angle - hiding his flawed eye. The king rewarded him.
The moral of the story is, all people have flaws and people try to hide their flaws.
If you notice other people's flaws and shortcomings, pretend you don't see it.
